I was in California and I sent my 17 year old daughter in to repair a leak. We ended up with two new tires - which I knew were overdue anyways. Robert took great care of my daughter, and was in contact with me along the way. I had some issues with my credit card (fraud alert) so it took me some time to contact the card company and iron that out. Robert was efficient, courteous, polite, patient and understanding. He never seemed annoyed and was a pleasure to deal with. I have always gone to GoodYear- but You just won another customer. I will be back for the other two tires and from there on out. Firestone Complete Auto Care pretty sad when you drive your car to the shop but need it towed home. Firestone in Mesa, AZ gave us a quote to fix the front end of a 97 Tahoe. Long story short.....they told us they would take the Tahoe in at night because they have issues with people stealing catalytic converters, they never did. Kept checking with them and they kept stalling on fixing the Tahoe. Excuse after Excuse like it was just a pain to do and is gonna take several hours and is just a pain in the butt to do. Gee sorry paying you to do a job is a pain in the butt. After 2 weeks get a call from Mesa PD that someone tried to steal the Tahoe and needed to go to Firestone. They did not get the truck but messed up the door, door panel, ignition and steering column. Initially Firestone said no problem that their claims department would fix it but after claim was filed they said not their fault so they would not fix damage. Tried to call, email anyone and everyone and they refuse to say or do anything or talk to me. I was told, via a rude all caps email, to file with my insurance as it was no fault of theirs. read more

Called in at noon on Thursday Nov 18th and made an appointment for 2pm that day for an alignment . For there at 1:30 and Ben took my keys and said "I'll get it right in"....told him I needed to be out of there no later than 4pm for another appointment I had and that I was driving back to San Diego late Friday. I went to go have a bite to eat and would be back after. Got back at 3pm and my truck was still in the same spot I left it. I asked him how there doing and reminded him that I needed to head out at 4pm. He said "no problem, you are next"...Calles my appointment to tell than I was running late and Ben then assured me I would be done soon. At 4:15 Ben came to tell me "I don't want to wast your time, my techs are struggling with a transmission"....he handed me my keys and said "sorry"...that was it, end of story....I get the labor shortage and that things happen, but Ben could have communicated the issues to me hours earlier. Ben stole 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back. Probably would have been better off at Pep Boys. (And we all know how bad they are) read more

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY 40 YEARS OF BUYING ANYTHING! I dropped my truck off on Thursday June 9th to get the window regulator and tire sensor fixed. I was told I would get a call the next day between noon and 1pm by the guy at the front desk who checked me in. I never received a call the next day so I called them at 4pm to check on it. A man answered the phone and I asked for an update on my truck. He told me to hold and I was then left on hold for 30 MINUTES! I hung up after waiting so long and called back. NOBODY answered the phone for the rest of the evening. I called back every hour from 4pm-7pm and NO ANSWER! The very next morning I call back at 7am and someone answered. I asked again for an update on my truck and they told me that the dealer never brought the window regulator to them so they couldn't get the job done yet. They then said they would call me back the next day when it arrived. I never got a call the next day! So I had to GET A RIDE to go up there in person the next day. When I showed up the manager David was there and apologized stating he had been off the last few days and someone had dropped the ball around there in his absence. He promised to have the truck ready for pick up the next day by 4pm. I show up the next day to pick up my truck and the window that wouldn't go up and down was fixed and seemed to be working, BUT the tire sensor was still not working or reading any of my tire pressures. I brought this to the attention of the manager David and the mechanic who worked on it Kevin. Kevin then began to become very irritated and started telling David how all the pressures registered before he checked it out blah blah blah and was being very rude to David in front of me. Even cursing at times being very unprofessional. They told me to just drive the truck for over 5 minutes and the tire pressures should register. So I paid them $587.96 for the work and went on my way. The tire pressure sensors NEVER started to work after 5 minutes of driving! So the next day I had to bring the truck back into their shop. They claimed the issue was they didn't order the sensor from the manufacturer and they apologized once again stating that they would order it and get it fixed correctly. ALSO somehow one of the screws to my rim caps was stripped out so bad they claimed to need to drill the screw out. They said, "whoever worked on it before them must of used power tools to take the caps off and stripped the screws. So now my rim won't even come off! They recommend I go to Discount Tires and order new screws which they would reimburse me for. So now let's fast forward to June 17th a week after this whole mess started. I decided not to bring my truck back in for them to drill out my rim cap screws cause they failed to call me all week AGAIN about the sensor they was supposed to order from the manufacture. At this point I am over it and want my money back. So I stopped in again on Tuesday to speak with them about a refund. The guy at the front desk showed very little concern about the situation and could care less. He just said the manager David would be in on Tuesday. So I left once again and came back the next day to speak with the manager. The manager David apologized once again for all the issues but never gave any explanation as to why nobody ever calls me back with updates on my truck. It was like they had my truck hostage! I asked David to refund the entire bill at this point so we could pretend we never met. He declined to do so stating he could only refund the sensor charges cause the window regulator was done and working. At that point on JUNE 21st I decided to take what he was offering for a refund and prepare to write them this review cause it was much deserved. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! read more

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I cannot stress this enough. I scheduled an appointment 4 days in advance for an oil change and alignment check. When I dropped off my vehicle at 10:30am the service writer let me know it would be 3 hours, which was fine. At roughly 2:15p the shop called and said they were "a little behind." Since they closed at 4 and would not answer the phone when I started calling at 3, I went to the shop to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, it had not been touched and the service writer would not make eye contact with me nor address me, although he did help the other people who walked in after me. How convenient that when I was telling anyone that would listen that I simply wanted my vehicle back that they pulled my vehicle in and pulled the oil drain plug so that I could not depart with my vehicle. So I was trapped for another 30 minutes when all I wanted to do was take my vehicle somewhere else. Many excuses were offered. I calmly accepted none of them and repeatedly requested the return of my vehicle. I doubt a man would have been treated this way. So everyone PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHOP. The Tempe location is just as bad. BEST TO AVOID ALL FIRESTONE IN GENERAL. read more

So your wife gets a flat tire and you need to get it fixed, and the dealership you work at is closed till Monday. Where are you gonna go? Well after driving around for an hour trying to find a place that's open, I found Firestone. Chad the manager was extremely helpful in getting my tire fixed. 20 minutes and they pulled my Equinox in, got the tire off, patched it, and had me out of there without trying to upsell me on anything I didn't need. I did check out prices on new tires and the prices weren't bad either. Totally reccomend this place for your automotive needs if your in the neighborhood. read more

I went in for an oil change. After adding inspection, adjust and clean rear brakes (was needed) and signing up for the Firestone card, cost about $70. The nice man offered me a whole slew of other things they could also do, but didn't pressure me at all when I declined most of them. This Firestone store has gone from trustworthy to rip off con men in just over a year! One trip for tires and an alignment has turned into a nightmare of over cost, lies, and worse, BAD TIRES! So far, 2 of the 4 tires have failed, the did not honor the warranty on the first one, and tried to charge MORE than the tire cost on the second failure! What is almost worse is telling me work was done only to find out later they rigged it to look like the work was done, but wasn't. This is the third firestone I've been too. The first one gave me the wrong battery size so I had to have it replaced less than a year later. My battery cable came loose and they told me that they had fixed it and I didn't have to worry about it. Well less than a week later it came loose again so I went to a third firestone and they told me I had to pay full price to fix it even after all the trouble I've had with this place and the battery. I had the most terrible experience at this facility on Saturday. I made an appt for 10am. Winston checked me in and asked when I would need it back. I saw the waiting area full of people so I said it was no rush and he asked if 5 was ok. I agreed. I frequently do this even with appts just to give people waiting the priority. At 5:15 I called to see if my car was ready. I was told it was. A few minutes later I got a call back that it was "another Mazda" that was ready and they would call me when it was done. At 5:30 they called to give me a run down of all that was fine with the car and told me I need new tires. I opted to wait on those and Winston advised the car would be done shortly and I could head on down. I showed up and noticed my car was sitting in the bay with the hood open. Shawn asked if he could help me and I told him I was there to pick up but the car doesn't look like it was ready yet. As I was waiting, a young woman asked about the status of her car. Evidently from the phone call she had just taken, she came to pick up her car and was to be headed home as her husband had to leave for work. She was very polite and said she didn't mean to be a pain but her husband couldn't leave as she wasn't home to be with the kids. She said she was told it was done when she came down but showed up and "it was another Mazda" that was completed....same story I got. This was after about a half hour of waiting with no one even walking over to my car, so I spoke up and said I got the same exact story. Shawn asked when we dropped our cars off...her appt was at 9am and she dropped off at 8am. I dropped off at 10am. And here it was after 6pm. Shawn got Winston (he had been elsewhere the time I was there) and asked what was going on. It was clear he was new and/or not authorized or in the know about what was going on but was very kindly trying to help. Shawn told Winston about us waiting since 10am and Winston shot back, "They haven't been WAITING HERE that long..." Not the point, Shawn was making but the gal said that she was told it was done. Winston turned to her and said, "Yeah and I called you and said it was a mistake and it would be done at 6." She politely said, "No, you told me it would be done at 5." He gave a half-hearted "whatever" reply and said he'd be helping her shortly. He then called up another customer who was waiting to go through a very detailed explanation of what was wrong with his car, leaving the gal hanging. Shawn asked him what he was going to do to help us - that the techs were waiting on instructions from him, something about an alignment (which neither one of us was getting) and Winston got very snippy, saying he could only help one person at a time, then went back to explaining to the guy. It was clear he was not used to this kind of service. After he took his time with that (and the gal got another call from her husband explaining he was late, taking the time to drop off their kids and would be yelling at the manager because they told her it would be done), he went out to the garage. It was still another 20 minutes before she and I both left at the same time. I felt awful for her with her small kids there, an upset husband and being blown off. We were both extremely polite because what can you do, but this was an incredibly awful experience. Not to mention, I never received a "sorry about that" or anything - just some semi-condescending remarks that he'll get us out of there soon, they're finishing up (as my hood was still up) and more time to check us out. Shawn really wanted to help us so this isn't a reflection on him. Winston was really was out of his element. It sounds like he was overbooked, couldn't handle the workload and over promised and under delivered. I couldn't believe how he spoke with another employee in front of customers and how he blew off two customers who were waiting since the morning for their vehicles to be done. I thought I was being kind in saying I didn't need it immediately but from now on, I'll be making sure I get my car back ASAP. Thankfully I didn't have anywhere I needed to be, but this was just very poor customer service. The previous managers there have always been polite and helpful but I'm not sure I'll be back to deal with Winston. read more

Not recommend this place. Had bad tires after 37k mikes of used but I bought 50k warranty. First, the salesman said they can't replace because I used those tires pretty much. Second, they don't have that brand. I still have warranty but can get any replace, so what's the point to buy a warranty on tires? Then, I paid to replaced 4 tires new at this place. They asked me to replaced air filter, but I didn't want to do that. After that, my car get a crazy windy noise inside. Came back to store and they scheduled a road test on next day at 10am, but when I came back, another one said he didn't see my appointment on the list. I left and my car still have that problem. My writing this comment is not of good nature. I find it ridiculous that an oil change and tire rotation would take 3 hours to complete when my appointment time is at 5pm. The fact that I contacted the store and left a message with Bri for David to contact me back earlier in the day where this time issue could of been communicated so I could prepare for it. Yet I received no call back or communication. As well when I arrived for my appointment to tell me that it would be ready at 7pm to then get a call that it won't be ready until 8pm is even more ridiculous. Then to say well if you don't do one of the services you wanted it would be faster, who says that to a customer. If it wasn't for the fact that I have an emergency trip this weekend that I need this done for I would have taken my vehicle. After 3 days in a shop they couldn't get the final alignment done correct and seemed frustrated that I wasn't happy with the results. The gentlemen were nice, there was no pressure for additional services and the price was reasonable! I will definitely return to this store for future services. Update 02/24/18: Sad to report that I went in for a LOF today and left with a ridiculous list of "recommended services" that cost $1000.00- including 4 new tires, a Fuel System Cleaning, Brake Fluid Exchange and Alignment- none of which are needed. Where to start? Got an oil change. Couple weeks later, an oil leak kills my spark plugs. They keep the car an extra day and forget to discount me the Uber rides I had to buy. It is now official that I have encountered my first place of business hiding behind the guise of the pandemic to try and mask their total incompetence and lack of customer service. I scheduled an appointment with this place in advance via their app and later in that same day AND IT WAS CONFIRMED by them. so I go there the day of my appointment and arrived 5 or 10 minutes early and the guy tells me that I can leave my car and they should have it done within 4 hours ... This to only do a lifetime alignment check. I tell him I have an appointment and it should not take that long for one simple piece of service and he mumbles some nonsense about well I don't have enough people today but if you leave it I can get it done within 4 hours. I tell him this is not acceptable because I have an appointment. his only response is well you can either leave it today and I will get to it or you can come back tomorrow when I should have more people working ... He asked me what I wanted to do and I told him I want to come here when I really do have an appointment for service ... his response was to mumble and repeat what he said before about leaving it today or coming back tomorrow when he should have more people. So I took my car to share that I just bought was a Cadillac 2014 and have them go over it to make sure that I didn't buy a vehicle that had a bunch of stuff wrong with it she did an excellent job and most places that I have gone in the past have bullshitting me about how much stuff needed to be fixed and me having a whole Lotta knowledge but some pretty basic knowledge I've had many places try to cheat me Because I'm a girl my experience at this fire stone was the complete opposite they actually told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car or nothing that really need to be fixed that everything was in really good condition to my surprise they were honest and didn't try to nitpick and get me to try to spend money they were very very honest very sterile and kind Gave me some insight on a few things But I just want to show my gratitude for the honesty and thorough job they did looking over my new car that I bought Zoe scary buying a used car because you never know but now I can drive it with complete confidence that everything is working properly and I'm not gonna break down with my child in the car that is pretty good feeling to know that for sure thanks guys read more

Shaun is literally the worst employee here So my story begins with taking my car for an alignment check (lifetime alignment plan bought prior) and I dealt with Shaun. Upon pickup, Shaun gave me a bunch of papers and basically told me my car was done. I asked if there had been work performed on my car and Shaun's answer was "I don't know...... I am not a mechanic". I politely asked if someone could explain what the numbers meant and he told me it would be a while to get the technician out to answer a simple question of whether work was performed on my car. I patiently waited and while doing so I started looking at the before and after number which were indicative of some work being done. When I brought this up to Shaun, he felt annoyed and asked me "well if you already know then why are you asking?..." At this point I had already spent 45 minutes waiting for the tech to answer a simple question and was starting to get aggravated myself. Working with cars pretty much all my life I noticed Shaun misinform his customers. For example : A customer came in with his TPMS light on (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor) and Shaun was giving him a high quote for replacing the sensors. Upon casually mentioning to the customer that its better to get those replaces with a set of new tires; the customer informed me that he had just gotten new tires through firestone. I told him that TPMS is supposed to be replaced when you get new tires so its negligence on Shaun's part not to tell his customers of this. At this point Shaun was just more aggravated and told me not to talk to any of his customers even though when I was informing them and educating them for faulty work. After this Shaun, tell me that I am going to have to wait all night just to get an answer to a simple question: "Was there work performed on my car?" I told him this was no way of treating a customer and he fired back with "I am not a mechanic I am just a tire guy". This got really aggravating cause he didn't know anything about tires either hence the TPMS debacle. He told me to come the next day and deal with his manager. In the frustration of the event I told him to f his fing sh*t and stomped out the store simply because he was incompetent of answering a simple question. I received a call back from the manager of the store David, and he apologized to me. I appreciate his call but honestly as a customer I was asking a simple question, was their work done on my car? And my issue was not with david it was with the poor service that shaun was providing. So I am never going to firestone again. Actually taking my car to a 3rd party to verify the work that was or was not performed is upto safety standards or not and the reason I am so pissed it because I shouldn't have to do that. I didn't pay for a lifetime alignment check to pay for it again and again going to verify the work that was done. Also mistreatment of customers should not be allowed in this manner. My hope is that you read my review and never return to this firestone every again. read more

We have used Firestone for the last ten years. Service has always been good, but today it was exceptional. I wanted to have my Infiniti checked out for an upcoming road trip so I took it to the Firestone on Guadalupe street in Mesa. The staff there were extremely friendly, smiling, and engaging. After the inspection we were told there was an issue with the struts and they should be replaced. We went back and forth on getting it done, but the staff remained friendly and understanding. Work was completed correctly and when they said it would be. Thanks to the staff at this Firestone for making us feel like you appreciated our business. read more

I needed 4 new tires for my truck, an alignment, and oil change. I made the appointment online which was very easy. Showed up a few minutes early and they took me in. They were done when promised and it was done right. Went here to get 4 tires installed on our car, we had an appointment at 1 and they told us it would take about an hour, two hours later we get a call saying it was going to be another hour. Finally almost 4 hours later we get a call that the car is ready and they recommended getting an alignment, we declined it because we didn't want to wait another two hours for that. We will get our alignment somewhere else and any future repairs or installments will not be with this firestone. read more

I worked with Jesse to get new tires for my 2008 BMW 328i. They got me the best deal possible and went above and beyond to address all of my concerns. They stayed after closing time to finish installing my rims and tires for me. I had forgotten my paperwork after I left and Jesse personally tracked me down after closing to hand deliver them.
