I have had 4 flat tires within the past year, and they have helped me every time very efficiently and quickly. They also replaced my tire and my car battery and their service has always been amazing. The typical nail in the tire story, the tire itself has less than 10,000 miles on it. 'Not safe to drive'. I knew I was being taken but they refused to reinstall the tire so I could go somewhere else for a patch. They gave me $10 off a new tire but $100 and an hour later I was off with a lower quality tire than what I drove in with. Do not come here, it's a commission, 'free evaluation' BS care car service. The first thing they did was lift the hood for a nail in the tire when i did not ask for additional services. They didn't try to upsell me further since they knew I was pretty pissed. Avoid unless you enjoy being ripped off. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Dale and Stephanie!! Both of them deserve a 5 star rating!! I am only rating 4 because of the experience I had earlier in the day. Dale and Stephanie saved this from being a 1 star review, to be honest. I had a very unpleasant experience with a different mechanic earlier on in the day (he shall remain nameless). I brought the car in for a high pitched squeaking noise when accelerating. I was informed he didn't hear any squeaking, but still found $2,100 worth of work to be done. When I started to question each item suggested, his tone became slightly condescending. I was then informed that if I didn't get a particular item fixed right away, that I would soon turn my car and "lose a tire." This immediately put me on guard, and prompted me to reach out to my mechanic uncle on the east coast. He said that it was an extreme claim to make, and he thought the man was trying to scare me into paying for it today. I said I needed to wait on any repairs for a couple of weeks due to finances. When I picked my car up, I asked if they could show me the area that would cause me to "lose a tire" so I could see how bad it was. Dale graciously lifted my car back up and looked for himself and showed me. Dale was upfront and honest with me about the fact that it was no where near as bad as the previous mechanic made it out to be, and that I still have a lot of drive time left before it needs to be replaced. He told me he was not sure why I was told such an extreme thing. I am so blown away by the honesty Dale showed me today. He could have easily confirmed what I already was told, but he stayed truthful. Stephanie was amazing as well, being very apologetic for the extreme scare tactic that was given to me earlier. Unfortunately, this situation re-enforced the sexist stereotype that auto shops take advantage of young women and gouge them for money, as I am certain this would not have been pulled on me if I was a man. I was ready to no longer be a Firestone customer, until my interactions with Dale and Stephanie. They saved me as a customer, and they deserve a million recognitions. Rude and incompetent! Brought my car here for a basic oil change. Got a phone call in 20 minutes saying i need to come down to discuss my vehicle ASAP! I rush down there and think that my engine is falling out or something crazy based on the urgency of the phone call. Once arriving we were presented with a list of issues with my vehicle. Most of which i was already of, the car is older with lots of miles. The biggest issue that was continuously pressed was the check engine light, which was/is not on. The service engine soon light was on, which if you know about cars you know that means you need an oil change. As we were repeatedly pressed about the light i eventually asked which light was on more specifically - the employee began to argue with me as to what the difference between the check engine light and service light were. Eventually i asked if he checked if the light had turned off since the oil change was completed, to which he did not have the answer for. I paid and left - neither light were on upon leaving. When Chris used to work here, every issue I ever had was resolved in such a timely manner with a sense of urgency, he took pride in working at Firestone and made sure everyone he came into contact with was taken care of. That being said; CFNA card holders be careful when keeping your card on file, the employees at Firestone will not check ID, they will not confirm the four digits of the card number they are looking to charge for services, so if you have multiple cards on file, make sure you are double checking your receipt because you know they are not. On multiple occasions I have had my CFNA card charged without my authorization. Even other's CFNA cards-- when taking my Fiancees car to Firestone (Stephanie and arroyo grande Location), her vehicle is under her parents account, I was paying for her services with my personal CFNA card, I told them I was paying for it, and they still charged her parents card for the services without even checking my identity, on top of the fact that I told them not to charge the card. This past month, someone was able to charge my card without my authorization, charging almost $500.00, on two different dates. I contacted CFNA to dispute the charge on Friday, 6/21. On Saturday 6/22 I emailed CFNA and Firestone Support to file a complaint about this charge. I received a phone call this yesterday morning, and was asked to come by the store so we could 'look at' getting the (almost $500.00) charge onto the 'proper account' this is almost a month after this charge has been on my card. I hate to take my business elsewhere but unfortunately, with Chris not being here anymore, and after the hoops I've had to jump through over the past 96 hours it seems to me that that is the route I will be taking. read more

Beware of Firestone on Stephanie between American Pacific and Trail Canyon. Two days ago I went to firestone on Stephanie To look into getting my front brakes fixed and possibly buy two new tires. The young lady who made my appointment her name was Stephanie was very polite and very nice. But that was about making my appointment for me. So I go there they told me it was gonna take several hours and and they drove me down the block since I only lived about a half mile from them. When they called me they told me I needed new rotors because mine could not be fixed and I also needed the brakes. My rotors were not that old but I excepted the fact that they probably knew what they were doing. At that time I told them I couldn't do it right away because I didn't expect a large bill considering I'm 72 years old and only get one paycheck a month. They then told me they couldn't even put pads on but they put the old pads back on and sent me on my way I never agreed or asked for an inspection of my vehicle which They wanted me to pay $10 for it. I didn't feel the need because I had just had my car looked at by Honda two weeks prior to that one it did an oil change and the only problems they told me I had was to get two new tires and have my front brakes done. When I got to the shop and the manager was the one who gave me the information and then he had a whole laundry list of items that supposedly I needed and would cost me $3744. So needless to say I Couldn't get the brakes until I got paid. done and drove home. Today I drove my car about 5 miles and it all of a sudden had every light on the dashboard lit up with all these issues. The car was jerking it was rattling and it was going in and out of air in and out of pressure as I put on the gas pedal. And it was a nightmare. I went back to the shop today I sat there from proximately 330 after I was told they had two customers before me And at 6:00 Johnny who is the man in charge told me they were closing. I went out to my car my battery was dead I asked for help I had my two little grandchildren with me who by the way sat in that waiting room with me for the whole time. Johnny avoided me like the plague. He was rude obnoxious and one of the worst customer service people I have ever seen. It was a young man by the name of Dale there who tried to help me as much as he could. But believe it or not even thou my battery was dead they didn't have anything to charge it with. Johnny wanted to charge me $180 for a new battery and then charge me another $99 to inspect the vehicle. Even though there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it there except for breaks. This is the worst customer service I have ever received it probably in my whole life. I will never go there or recommend that shop to anyone ever again ever. So stay away from them they don't deserve your business I think they try to up charge you on everything and charge you for things that you don't even have wrong with your car. read more

Prior to today's visit, I came in a few days prior to get air put into my tires since the tire pressure indicator turned on. Today, I came in on a spare tire. The guys quickly checked and fixed the problematic tire and put it back on my car. I was in and out under 2 hours. They had given me two maintenance suggestions for my car based on mileage with quotes for when I was ready to get it done - no questions asked or pressure. They were fast and friendly. read more

I will never set foot in this Firestone franchise again, and caution everyone to be aware of what I believe is the worst customer service of any auto repair shop in Henderson, NV. I have over 48 years experience driving, and have the expertise to do mechanical work so I'm not a push-over at any shop. This Firestone shop is relatively new and looks nice, but the service work and customer service at the front desk are sub-standard. Here are the details: On 2/24/20, I took my car in for a front brake replacement. The initial visit was ok except for the long wait time to get the work done. The past two weeks I have heard a clunking sound gradually getting louder in the front of the car whenever I go over a bump in the road. On 3/23/20 I took it to the shop to have the front brakes checked under warranty, and was told by Johnny to wait for a service tech to ride with me to hear the sound. After more than 30 minutes wait a technician rode with me and I explained that I thought it was related to the recent brake replacement. When I returned with him to the store, Johnny told me it would cost me $50 for an inspection. I was shocked that warranty work was not covered and reacted in a frustrated manner telling him that was unacceptable. He quickly became defensive and scolded me for being agitated. He said, "that's what we charge everyone". I then made it clear I was going to get angry if they didn't stand behind their work - he then said, "ok we will just inspect the brakes". I asked how long it would take and he told me 1.5 hours - I then said I would return then. I called my previous shop who told me to bring it in and he would look at it. It took him 5 minutes to pull the wheel and discovered one of the caliper bolts was loose (had not been tightened properly when brakes had been replaced). read more

I will start off by saying the store manager has been nothing but nice, and it saddens me that the service is so poor when he is not there. Along with the good comes the bad and the ugly. David (supposedly the service manager) is all sorts of rude. My husband was in once and worked with Jerry, things went smoothly. On our second visit I had spoke to Jerry about brakes and he confirmed that a courtesy ride would not be an issue. when I called to let them know I was on my way, and confirm the courtesy ride back to my house (less than 2 miles) David said it was too far and would have to go elsewhere. Plain and simple. He didn't want to be bothered. So I did. Fast forward 1 month. My a/c goes out. This exact firestone had did some repair work less than 2 months ago that required them to work with the a/c system. I called to see if we needed an appointment and David said we had to come pretty quick if we wanted it looked at today (it was about 1pm). We bring it down to have it looked at and were in contact with David again. Why we had to hurry, not sure. There was 1 other car there. David informed us there was a diagnostic fee of $30 and insisted that the problem was not related to the work they had done. When asked if the diagnostic would be waived if it was in fact from the work they had done he laughed and said no. After a lot of back and forth, David ripped up the work up sheet and told us if we wanted it looked at we would have to come back Tuesday and talk to Jerry. I bought my truck this time. Back to Phillip Gordon cause he did such a fantastic job with my car. Originally I bought this truck to Firestone a MALL RING CIRCLE in Henderson. I asked them not to roll down the driver window cause it will be hard to bring back up. Xavier said no problem very polite. After calling me saying they could not find the problem. I went to pick up the truck. And guess, the DRIVER WINDOW WAS ROLLED ALL THE WAY DOWN. After luring to me and said it must have rolled down by itself. He then said the tech DID NOT pay attention to the notes. Xavier apologized said he will comp fixing the window. After having my truck for three days. For there error, they still charged me for an oil change and a diag fee for the brake light and not even tell me what was wrong. I left very upset at the poor service from MALL RING CIRCLE. Every time I come to this location I get rude techs and pushy sales men. I brought my grandpa here yesterday, a 94 year old man, who can barely hear or make choices for himself, to get an oil change. My fiancé and I went across the street to goodwill to shop, and because my grandpa was sitting in the chairs they provide with coffee I thought he'd be okay. We came back ten minutes later to find him being conned into getting a credit card to pay for tires he couldn't afford. Then when he didn't have his cell phone to be approved for the card they got frustrated with him because they already started taking the wheels off his car. Phil, being the most rude of them all, asked us very rudely if we still wanted the tires, and because my grandpa couldn't get clearance on his card, I told him no thank you, but not before he threw his hands up in the air as if to say, "well do you want them or not". He then stomped outside to tell his staff to put the old tires on the car. He should be mad at himself for starting before my grandfather was approved, even though he shouldn't have been conned into getting one in the first place. I feel as though they waited until we left to ask him, as he was an easy target. I'm more upset about the lack of customer service, however, and the fact that I was talked to with such disrespect by Phil. Almost as if I wasn't a customer at all but a nuisance to his business despite being a loyal customer HE INTERACTS WITH on a normal basis when I come for services. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, but I will NEVER come back to this location.
