I had gotten an oil change at a different shop. They did an inspection and handed me an estimate for $3,000 worth of problems. Went to Big-O for a 2nd opinion. The only thing they found is that I should think about replacing my front shocks comin up (those weren't even part of the other shop's estimate). When I asked about the other items they said everything looks great. They brought in the mechanic, D'Milo. He brought me into the garage and went through everything with me. He was friendly, knowledgeable and really went the extra mile. Really built some trust. Definitely gonna be my go to shop from here out! read more

We brought our car to Big O Tires (Pecos Rd, Henderson) after it broke down while we were visiting from out of state. We had it towed there through AAA and were told the car would be looked at and fixed the next day. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We received no updates, and when we went back, we were given a completely different diagnosis. First, we were told it was Overall Master Cylinder and then , second day we were told , ABS fuse issue and that the part was hard to find, so we waited several days. We even took the initiative to order the part ourselves from Toyota to help speed things up. After waiting from Sunday through Wednesday (and extending our hotel stay through Thursday because of the delay), we returned only to find that nothing had been done. We were then told that the part we purchased was no longer needed and that the entire ABS module assembly would have to be replaced instead. The main issue was not the cost--we were prepared to pay. It was the lack of clear communication, changing diagnoses, and the amount of time wasted. If the full repair was needed from the beginning, that should have been communicated honestly. English is our second language, so clear and consistent communication was especially important to us--but unfortunately, that was not our experience. We ended up calling AAA again just to tow our car out of their shop and bring it to a friend's place. We've trusted Big O Tires in other states like Washington, California, and Oregon, but this location was a completely different experience. Frank, the mechanic, seemed nice, but ultimately the issue was not resolved and the service did not meet expectations. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, especially those traveling from out of town. Customers deserve honesty, effort, and clear communication. read more

Exelent customer service! They put all 4 new tires in less than 1 1/2 hours. Only negative is that , while replacing all 4 tires , they should at the least wipe of the new tires , just a little tire cleaner would.make the new tires just at least look a little newer, for $2,000.00 dollars. read more

So I visited the Big O Tires off of Pecos & Windmill and Donald said I needed rear rotors and brake pads... Money is tight as is for many people so I figured I would buy the parts myself and my roommate recommended a personal friend take care of the labor for about 50% of the cost that Big O was going to charge. Although I needed to replace the rear rotors, the pads clearly had at least 6 months of life left on them according to my personal mechanic/friend which infuriated me. These guys just wanted to take advantage and gouge me for hundreds of dollars that I didn't have! Had over $2800 of preventive maintenance work done in February and was very pleased with the service; however, the valve cover and and valve gasket was either not done at all or done improperly. There is some dispute on whether it was actually done at all but needless to say damage was done to my car and the starter now needs to be replaced due to oil spillage. Though I was told by the service manager that they would make it right and do the full repair at their cost, he then went on vacation without communicating this to anyone as my car sat there and the district manager refuses to honor the agreement and does seem to think pushing the starter button over twenty times to engage the starter is not an issue. The district manager even refuses to speak to me on the phone and just expect the desk clerks to manage the situation on their own though they are not empowered to make decisions. Mistakes happen and I was not upset about that. I just want them to make it right and stand by their work. I don't get it. Everyone makes mistakes but if you can't correct them then that's a problem. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO BIG O TIRES! read more

Finding an auto shop when you're a woman sucks. My cousin has been going here for years. She put me onto Big O for oil changes, and I've never gone back to the dealer since. Last week, my tire sensor died, and I needed it fixed quickly. I went to Big O. I love that I could make an appointment online and then come in when it was convenient for me. Drop off was easy. There were no upsells or high-pressure sales tactics. I will say the price was about $30 more than the Discount Tire down the street ($106 vs. $79), but I specifically stuck with Big O because I knew they'd fix my tire sensor and not try to talk me into extras or magically find 5 other things that need emergency repair. Anytime I've had an oil change, they fix it at the quoted price and usually finish earlier than promised. I'm happy to pay a little extra for peace of mind. My car was ready an hour earlier than promised. Pickup was very simple. They even had my car parked right by the door for me. I checked in, paid, and left. I received an email later letting me know when my car is due for milestone services, which was very cool to read. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Been going to this location for several years, never had any issues until my last visit. Made a 1:00 pm appointment a week in advance to get $1100. work done. Paid $500. down so they would have parts ordered and ready when I brought it in. Kristen told me it would take no more 3 hours. Arrived at 12:50 pm. My car sat in the parking lot until 2:34 pm when they finally took it into a bay. My car was finally ready at 5:00 pm. My husband waited for three and a half hours here for new tires for my vehicle! My vehicle was in the air in the garage for an hour and nobody was working on it. I had a nail stuck in my tire, and I was due for new tires anyway, so he thought he might as well get them while he was there. My low pressure tire indicator light was on inside my vehicle. That's how I discovered the nail in my tire. However, when he drove away, the low tire pressure signal was still lit. He went back and they said there's nothing they can do about that. I just had these sensors replaced at Toyota a year and seven months ago. There's no way they are bad sensors! Now I have to book an appointment with Toyota because they couldn't figure it out.
