I found them to be very honest and up front with any issues I might have had and they do not hassle you if you decide not to do the repairs there. A friend took her car in and they did oil change and as she was driving home it was scalping making noise and she found out the black plastic guard thing in from Nt was dragging. Every time we go for smog checks, front counter service has always been terrible. We have 4 vehicles and only go to get smog because of the convenient location. Today, service was just as expected - awful. False overhead advertisement $9.99, without advising, rung up at $19.99. When said I thought it was $9.99 as advertised on the overhead, was told front outside window sticker displayed $19.99. If that was the case, shouldn't the overhead sign also reflect that pricing? Used my credit card, and was told AFTER being charged that there is a $5.00 processing fee. If I would've been advised, again prior to finalizing the transaction, I would've paid cash. Additionally smogged another car - I have a 2023 truck. They smogged my truck and again, AFTER THE SERVICE, was told that the first 3 years vehicles don't need smog. I would've appreciated that context before the service (that I have to pay) - or just don't say anything at all. Lastly, as I am waiting in the waiting room, a polite man asked what type of oil they use, employee responded rudely, as the customer leaves - employee comments (in front of other customers) "these people want cheap prices and expensive product". I usually never have a problem with this establishment, but the past couple times that I've been there. It's been very frustrating because all they keep doing is up selling for no reason. This time I stood out there and watched to see if they would do an inspection regardless of what I said because I told the cashier just the smog. I'm running behind just the smog. So my car was done they brought it around and guy very rudely told me get my 90,000 mile tuneup done. OK great however the last time I was it was in there and my husband got an oil change done, you guys cracked the housing to my oil filter and didn't even tell me and I noticed a leak and took it straight to Toyota And they told me whoever did my oil change last cracked it so that right there was very unprofessional. The next thing unprofessional was how rude this guy was about my 90,000 miles. Don't tell me what needs to be done because I do a lot of my own maintenance. Which comes to my next thing on the paper it says I need to change my all my filters and my spark plugs. Well, those have been done and how would you know if they haven't been done or even if they have been done if you guys didn't even look because I stood outside and watched and not one technician lifted up my hood to look at my spark plugs. So throwing things on paper just to gain more money out of customers is wrong. I'm not just your standard female that walks in. I do my own maintenance on my cars and my motorcycles. So I know when something has been looked at, and when something has been done and hasn't been done. On top of that, $465 for labor just to change out spark plugs I can change those out in less time which means your techs are milking the clock and causing the consumer even more money. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE All my truck needed was a new battery. That's it. Instead, this shop tried to sell me on a fake rack and pinion replacement for $800 (on top of a $400 battery) .....AND handed my car back with blown engine and transmission mounts that were perfectly fine when I dropped it off. Here's what went down: I brought it in with a dead battery and a stiff wheel (it's electric steering, so no power = no assist). The truck was otherwise fine. Next day they tell me "it's just the battery." Makes sense. Steering was perfect before the battery died. Then silence for days. Suddenly they call: "Your rack and pinion is bad, $1,200 total." They pressured me hard to say yes on the spot. Luckily, I looped in my dad (former military mechanic). He said NO, give us the car back. Vibes got weird. They even tried to call my dad separately to complain about the "time they spent taking it apart" (which I never authorized). When we picked it up? My dad told me in the parking lot "follow me home" which was strange (instead of us taking it back to my house but his house was closer). I watched him drive the car as I trailed him in my other car. Car handled fine, seems the steering was magically just fine -- as we suspected -- because there was never an issue except the battery in the first place. But here's the kicker: When we get to his house dad hops out tells me to get in and feel the car. It's shaking like it is about to fall to pieces! I recognize this shake because I have felt it before on this truck a couple years ago. I know exactly what it is. My engine mounts are completely trashed. They were 100% fine when I brought it in. I did NOT trust them to be accountable for this and absolutely did not trust them to touch my car any further! So I didn't take it back to them. Instead we carefully drive it STRAIGHT to my old shop and parked it. They walk out, turn on the engine and IMMEDIATELY say "it's your engine mounts". Call the next day and confirm the mounts were destroyed (likely because they put it on a lift and didn't support the engine/trans properly - a lift it should have never been on in the first place cuz it only needed a battery). I ended up having to replace ALL mounts (3 engine + 1 transmission) for over $1,000. For good measure I had the rack and steering inspected too: Perfectly. Fine. Exactly what we knew all along. So let's recap: If I'd said yes to their scam $1,200 for a fake rack/pinion job + battery change PLUS another $1,000+ for the mounts THEY actually damaged in the process of doing too much. Total: $1,800+ in unnecessary costs potentially... $1,000+ in actualized unnecessary costs. When literally all it needed was a battery. A. Battery. That's it. This place will lie, upsell, and return your car in worse shape than you brought it. I originally went to them on a recommendation last year and they did good work at a fair price - I went back for this easy battery change that I could have gotten ANYWHERE (even Walmart) for cheaper... as a thank you and to keep what I thought was a good relationship alive - trying to throw them my business when I could...and they completely screwed me over. Now, looking at other reviews (again I went to them on a personal recommendation) - I am not their first victim. You been warned. Purrfect just lost 4 customers in one dumb move: me, my dad, my little brother, and my dad's friend who we have sent there - all because they couldn't be honest and do a quick, easy, battery change, without trying to run a scam. After issues of overcharging me and holding my car hostage on September 6, 2025 I was forced to sign almost blank contracts under duress as I was in intense pain that day. My car was on the rack for almost 4 hours for a battery, why? Not only overcharges on that but alternator too. At any rate after News 13 aired a segment labeled as my having Sticker Shock, it was NOTHING of the sort. They used intimidation at every level. But following the segment I was informed I would be reimbursed for the differences between the battery and alternator fees. Upon arrival I was greeted by a woman at the desk with two men standing as if to intimidate me behind her. They had a check in a sealed envelope and said I had to sign receipt. However, the form was a vague as the original contract and I still had no idea what I was being reimbursed. I was informed I couldn't open until I left, but was expected to sign something I didn't understand. HMM I refused to sign and they refused to give me the check. I was $87 short of what I was due. the form was NOT a receipt, it WAS a SILENCE WAIVER Now tell me, why would I need to be silenced if I were only being ridiculous about sticker shock? really, foes that make sense to you? but think again, why would management and staff need to be changed out if they had nothing to hide? Seems to be an ongoing practice of this company as well. Originally with News 13 arrived the shop had no clue of my business and needed invoice numbers to prove my patronage Yet, they had everything need to prove to the bank I signed a contract. Interesting? Everywhere I've turned with them the story changes. Monday te 10th when I cancelled the order Id been informed the item was just about to be ordered, yet now they show it was ordered earlier on Saturday and yet I wasn't permitted to have my car or leave until the ed of that day. no, I'm not finished and will be going to court, and Attorney General as well. They quoted me on needing some fluids looked over due to the miles on my car and gave me a breakdown on a piece of paper. I came in for a SMOG inspection in January. Then I was brought to my car where they showed me oil on my axels, and told me they needed to be replaced along with a new gasket. Their price seemed reasonable and Mike (the new manager) said that they would change all my fluids and not charge me for the SMOG certificate. I agreed and had the work done then and there. While driving my car home the steering wheel began to shake. I called them the next day and Mike said they would need to order a part to get that fixed. I called every week for a MONTH but was given the excuse that they were still waiting for it. At this point, I decided to go into the shop and then they said, "It just came in." (Seriously?) They said I needed Transmission mounts on the engine side and engine front. I waited all day and the work was not done. They drove me home and I came back the next day. Waited for hours again. When I took a test drive, the shaking was still there. They said they were going to "upgrade" the motion mounts. When I took another test drive it finally seemed okay. So I brought in my vehicle for an oil change I had called prior to bringing it in and I was told that there was not much of a wait time. I came in and I parked the car right in front of the the entry door and waited. They took my car in within 10 minutes. Thinking that they weren't that busy in the lobby me and one other person. I was offered a free tire rotation I said yes to I even mentioned that one of the tires was low on air cuz the indicator on my dash was saying so. I waited well over an hour thinking that they were doing everything they said they were going to do. So I patiently waited didn't even bother to ask how much longer or anything like that. So I finally got called to pay for the oil change paid got in my car and drove away. Lo and behold the tire but the low pressure is still in the same position as when I drove in with. Which means that they never rotated my tires nor filled up the tire that I requested. After waiting well over an hour for an oil change to me that's nuts. Then I realized that my last vehicle that I had brought in several months ago I had some issues and found out that my car had no oil. And this is the same spot that I had brought my that vehicle in so now I'm suspecting that these people did my oil change and didn't plug up the pan correctly because my vehicle has a zero oil. Also what I while I sat in the lobby several people were coming up complaining about the poor service that was done to their vehicles. Well, it has been a brutal reality for the Doyle family to find out that Purrfect Auto on Sunset and Valle Verde in Henderson put the WRONG OIL in our car for 2 of the 3 oil changes, which basically voided our vehicle's extended warranty. The engine literally shut down on me on the freeway, and after 2 weeks of fighting and 5 denials, there is nothing else that we can do without going to small claims court to litigate this matter. Shady chief mechanic. Went in for a smog check he disconnected a vacuum line which gave me a fail. When I drove off I got a check engine light. I never had one before that. I pulled over opened the hood. I could see where the vacuum line had greasy hand prints where it was disconnected. I took my car somewhere else and it passed. Deceptive practices at this location. Each location is franchised and owned separately. I went in for an oil change and smog check around March 2022, then wasted almost three hours of my time. The delay came as they stated the State of Nevada requires a full car safety inspection. It's more so they can generate work. They wanted to replace my brake, radiator, thermostat, hoses, (the whole cooling system) and claimed that my engine was going to blow up and my brakes would fail. I watched their newb mechanics attempt to claim there were severe issues with my car. I was afraid that they would sabotage my car because I didn't fall for their scam. I played dumb and acted shocked at their BS claims. I used to work on cars with my father as a kid. Only reason I pay to have my car serviced is due to a mobility disability. I recommend that you stay away from this location. They don't have the customers best interest at heart and are looking for easy prey. read more

I was impressed when I noticed the mechanic working on my vehicle didn't take his lunch break until he finished at 1:30 p.m. However, I'm holding back one star because the shop should have reset my OBD system or advised me to drive a certain number of miles before getting a smog check.
