great customer service!!! The gay works there is very friendly, 100% recomendable. And his good at his job.

Quick and friendly and at coupon prices without a coupon. FYI, he opens at 8am on Thursday . Had to call to verify. Someone else said he takes lunch from 10-11am. Hopefully that will help others trying to plan. Edit: I came out of my way to come here after verifying what time it opened today and there is a handwritten note saying he is gone today. ‍ read more

I just had the smog inspection service done at Smog Checkers. It was so quick that it will probably take more time for me to write a review on them, than it was for the owner to execute the smog check, which was done on his quality state-of-the-art equipment.     The owner had a fantastic attitude and did not try to upsell me on anything, at the same time that his work was fast and efficient. The smog inspection is a great value. After taxes it came out to $20.    If you are unfamiliar with this area, the Smog Checkers shed could be easy to miss. It is off of eastbound Sunset Road between the Spencer Street and Eastern Avenue traffic signals, and immediately east of Sunset Pointe Apartments. From being very familiarized with the area, I highly recommend that you try to have the smog inspection done before rush hour, when eastbound Sunset Road frequency backs up all the way from Spencer Street to Eastern. If plan to arrive here at rush hour, and are driving from east of Smog Busters, I highly  recommend driving west on Sunset Road to the Spencer Street traffic signal then conducting a u-turn. Also, Smog Busters is disconnected from the Village Pub parking lot adjacent to it. Again, I emphasize that it is at the first entrance immediately after Sunset Pointe.     The way that I review, 5 stars is as good as it gets in that category. Based on my experience on September 18, 2024; their smog inspection service is on the "as good as it gets" pinnacle in the smog inspection category. By the way, their smog inspection service was much more quicker than writing my review on them. read more

Smog Checkers - Great price and customer service. Tom was professional, kind and efficient. Thank you! 10/10 Recommend - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Top quality service by a very nice owner operator. We have been doing our smog with him for over 10 years.

So fast and painless! The sweet man running the place was a joy. Recommend highly! Thank you!

Use Smog Checkers, you won't regret it. I started with the DMV list of all smog check stations in Clark County then checked Yelp* reviews for the businesses with multiple locations. On each review, I kept seeing Smog Checkers pop up with a perfect 5.0 rating for 63 reviews so I went to the Smog Checkers page and read several reviews. All glowing! So I called Tom and then headed over. Quick, easy, reasonably priced. And Tom seems like a great guy. The car passed, and Tom directed me to the DMV kiosk less than 1 mile away to complete my registration. Easy, peasy! I'll be using Smog Checkers every year from now on. read more

Very quick service, exactly what I needed while on my lunch break. The owner was friendly too! I would go here again.

I have gone here 2-3 times already. It has always been a pleasant visit. The owner is so friendly and courteous. He converses with you while he is doing his job. And he was quick. Above and beyond that his rate is dirt cheap. Highly recommend you go over. read more

Smog Checkers - After 8am on Friday. Not open - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Fast efficient and friendly; what more can you ask for $20? I've used them for years and will continue.

My first time yesterday meeting with smog checkers. Me living in Las Vegas since 1997 I am very thankful and appreciative I just now discovered you. I'll drive 45 minutes to your station every year before my renewal expires. That said, your service is impeccable, As a customer Tom's only smog location is a gold mine. This man is old school while diagnosing your vehicle he checks over and follows every state emissions protocol. In other words he is Efficiently detailed and the job is done the right way in 5 minutes or less. Meeting him for only 10 minutes Tom is sincere who really loves his job you can ask him any question and he will respond back with an HONEST professional answer, Now Speaking of Other smog testing stations scattered around town trying to Monopolize the business and charging anywhere from $28 to $33 before the additional tax on top, To send traffic to their stations these folks continue to advertise and promote a discount against their competitors to only not honor it as you drive up to their multiple locations, The smog business is heavily regulated and some of these stations do not even follow state emissions protocols while testing your vehicle. They hire to train these kids to become state certified technicians and trust them to manage the station booths. I've always observed many smog technicians become lazy who only rely on connecting the OBD2 scanner and waiting for a pass or fail result and on to the next car. Makes me wonder how many smog stations avoid heavy emissions state fines by not correctly examining your vehicles carbon reporting to the dmv, Many false negatives force you to retest a failed report, My last advice is to Take your car every year to Tom's emission station and that is only if you want peace of mind, very few businesses these days care more about quantity, There is hope out there because Smog Checkers is all about Quality and I will vouch for that. read more

The gentleman is fast and efficient. He has a good vibe to him and is upfront. Now I have found my new place for smog checks.

This location is OPEN. I was so happy to find out that when I needed my annual smog that my favorite place was open and a review is long overdue. I have taken multiple cars to this location and I keep coming back every year. It's a fair price ($19.99), quick and always time for a quick conversation. When I had a car that had a sensitive connection and other repair shops etc would just be willing to give you "unable to smog" result he was always patient and willing to help out so I will remain loyal. read more

Super easy experience. Normally I dread getting my smog checked because there's always a huge line, the advertised prices aren't always honored and because who the hell wants to wait over 40 minutes to get their car smogged? Not this guy! I came in and there was another car in front of me. Tom, the owner, was chit chatting and smogging that person's car. No biggie. One car in front of me, can't be too bad, right? Right! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and it only cost me 20 bucks. Awesome price and incredibly efficient. I'll be back next year! read more

Kind of hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. This place is just a small kiosk in a strip mall. I passed it a couple of times while looking for this place. I was looking for a building and had to call and get better directions. Once I did find the place I was in and out in about 10 minutes or less. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a quick smog certificate. I believe I paid just under $20 btw and think I saw a sign saying he honors coupons so maybe you can get it even cheaper. read more

Thank you Thomas!! In and out really fast. After my car got out the shop I only put maybe 60~ miles on it. So when I took it here it failed the first time because the computer couldn't read everything yet. So I drove around more, did some errands, and even drove on the highway, adding about 100 more miles and it passed. Thomas was really energetic, friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend read more

We've been coming to see Tom with our vehicles for probably 15 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. He is always so helpful, even if we show up 5 minutes to closing, with a vehicle that needs extra effort to get the reading done, like our old Chevy Van, which used to require him to attach something to the engine without losing any fingers... ;-) He's a great guy and always good for an interesting story about food, music, beer or baseball! read more

This place is a teeny tiny kiosk that you won't notice unless you seriously keep your eyes peeled, or work in the area and see it everyday (aka me). I knew right away where to go for a smog check b/c this place is so close by. I'm happy I didn't have to choose between friendly service and convenience. The gentleman that runs this place is on top of everything. I was in and out in about 10 minutes during rush hour. Highly recommended! Only $19.99 read more

Why I would drive the extra few miles to visit this place!!!!! My regular place is closed because of the virus. To be honest, the service from my regular place is OK. Drive up, get your smog and leave! The guy is different but it's a smog! Who cares? Now that I have been to this place and met the owner, I CARE!!! What a nice guy Tom is! He is doing his best to take care of his customers. No coupon needed, it's already the same price as my "regular" place with the coupon. He is fast! 4 minutes in and out. Not counting the next ten minutes we sat and chatted, of course including our 6 ft social distancing range. He is full of knowledge on the regulations the DMV is changed because of this virus. He provides way more than just a "smog"! What a great guy and a man that will be doing every vehicle I ever get smogged in the future. He is worth the extra few miles for his upbeat attitude and service! Thank you Tom for an amazing positive attitude in these very negative times! read more

The only smog place I will go! The gentleman that owns this shop is always quick & efficient. He's always in a good mood, too!

Tom was incredible! Super friendly & helpful. Fast & efficient. Definitely 5 stars!!!

I loved the service! Tom has a wonderful personality. We had a nice conversation as he ran the test. He seems knowledgeable about cars, at least moreso than I am...lol. He gave me a good tip when I explained a past issue I had with my car key. Yet, he ran the test quickly. He took COVID precautions and really showed appreciation for my business. I will be going to him from now on! read more
