I had a mechanical issue with my vehicle when attempting to get it smogged and ended up waiting hours for AAA to tow it. Allie, the smog attendant working at the time is amazing. She was so hospitable, offering water, Gatorade, and set up the water mister for me. She is so sweet and friendly and really made a crappy situation better. When it was time to close and I was still waiting on AAA, she asked if it was ok if she left. She legitimately cares about her customers. I have frequented this business in the past and will continue to do so. It's a women owned small business and I love to support local small businesses when possible. If you need a smog, don't hesitate to visit this business! Allie definitely goes above and beyond! read more

I've always brought my cars here for smog but I won't again. This was my 3rd visit this year. With a coupon my total was $22, I gave $40 cash. She gave me my change as $15 with total confidence. I was planning on giving her the $3 tip anyway, BUT to just assume you deserve a tip at all is just rude. So you got your tip and you'll never get my business again. read more

Alee did my husband and I smog check and was extremely rude and had a bad attitude when my husband asked her why the smog failed she couldn't answer and we had to drive down the street to another smog place and had no issues. Another year, another silly hoop for a Prius owner. Smogeez is a smog-check station and car wash on the corner of Boulder Highway and College. It happens to be closer to me than the previous smog check business which I'd used, and they'd recently mailed a coupon to my address ($18 smog check; coupon also available on website or possibly via Yelp check-in), so I decided to try them this time. The best entrance is from the gas station and not the animal hospital because of which way the little smog check kiosk faces. There was one car ahead of me, but Ashlee (if the receipt is accurate) took care of that customer quickly and then completed my smog check quickly as well. She was friendly enough, not in an overenthusiastic fake way but in a genuine manner. She didn't push the registration or car wash on me either, and I had no interest in those services. I intend to come back regularly Smogeez due to the convenient location, cost, and speed of service. They're even open as early as 8am on weekdays and for a few hours on Saturday, which should generally accommodate most people's schedules. read more

Needing a smog check the day before my registration renewal is due (procrastinater that I am), I headed over to Smogeez on my lunch break. My co-worker recommended them highly, saying her family brings all their cars here so I was sold. Luckily, I arrived and no one else was waiting. Ashlee had my smog check done in no time. She is a friendly soul and very appreciative of the business. I paid $20 for the smog check plus $5 for the DMV processing and got a free car wash for having bought both of those. I especially want to recognize Nicholas Chavez, the Service Manager. Nicholas went above and beyond to make sure I understood the services being performed and answered all of my questions. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest throughout the entire process. What impressed me most is that I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or services. It's not always easy to find an automotive business you can truly trust, but I absolutely feel that way about Asian Imports. I feel confident that they will treat me fairly, do quality work, and not try to rip me off or overcharge me. Tech Ric arrived and efficiently swapped the battery out of my Viper. The quoted price was $229…read moreand Ric got the job done in 50 minutes. He is younger and much more flexible than me and did the job without going under the car. Battery is next to differential and I had to use a creeper and do the swap on my back. I took 90 minutes last time I did a battery swap. We had 10 minutes to chat and Ric lift after cleanup at exactly one hour. 5 stars. I asked for a quote for installing 6 new spark plugs and ignition coils for my 2106 Honda van. The process is 1 pull plug wire 2. Remove a 10 mm bolt that holds coil in place 3. Remove spark plug. 4. Install new plug. 5. Put coil over plug. 6. Replace and tighten 10 mm bolt. 7. Attach plug wire to plug. Repeat 6 times. The 3 rear plugs take an extra 4 to 5 minutes each due to less clearance to rear engine compartment wall. Last time I personally did this on a Honda van it took me an hour and 20 minutes. I checked the 2 flat rate books I have access to and the time allowance was 1.5 hours on the first and 2 hours on the second. I was a bit shocked when Squeaky sent me an estimate for $419 net after a 50 buck discount. Simply put, you priced yourselves out of future work from me. My brick and mortar independent garage beat your price by almost exactly $150. I was a businessman myself, and I know you need to make a profit. I wish you well in the future, but have to rate this transaction as 2 of t stars due to unreasonable pricing. Cannot see using Squeaky in the future.

I'm normally pretty pleased with the service I get at the Stephanie location.-- don't ask me about the horror stories over at the Mark Street location. This time there were issues with inexperienced techs and a vacuum pump that didn't extract all the oil from my engine before they filled it up again. After recognizing the engine shutter that is caused by too much oil, I had them remove some of the extra oil to get it back down to the proper level. The only problem with this is that the new oil has now been diluted with the old oil that they never got out. It was probably at least a quart of old oil. The other problem I had was that the manager decided to make excuses and claim there was no problem rather than exploring options to make things right. I wasn't going to argue with him in his place of business and in front of other customers, but I'm not sure I'll go back. The right thing to do would've been to completely drain the oil and refill it again with clean oil. But I know is expensive these days and I would've been fine if they would've simply offered me a discount roughly proportional with how much old oil they left in my car. Neither option was offered, so that's why I'm giving this review.

He had an attitude that was enough to make me run the opposite direction. He was rude and dismissive. In all my years of dealing with automotive shops, I have never encountered someone with such poor customer service. There's a lot of competition in this industry, and finding a trusted mechanic is important to me. When I find a good shop, I'm loyal for life and I recommend them to everyone I know. But this experience? Absolutely not. If this is how they treat someone who is willing to pay for their services, it speaks volumes about their overall character. I've worked in customer service my entire life, and I firmly believe it's not always what you say -- it's how you say it. His condescending attitude was completely unnecessary and honestly disgusting. If you don't want to deal with customers, then get out of the customer service field. Simple as that. Unfortunately, I won't ever consider coming back or recommending. Clearly he didn't value my business which is fine- I took it elsewhere.

It's about that time for me to have to smog my vehicle again, usually in the past I would have to think about which Smog Shack (lol) I might want to use but honestly for the past couple of years SMOGEEZ came straight to mind and a smile of relief came over me knowing that not only will that simply Smog my vehicle but if for any reason the Smog doesn't pass properly the Lady Service Tech always looks and assist with possible ideas why their might be a problem... August 4, 2025 Visited the Smogeez inspection station at 975 South Boulder Hwy in Henderson, NV. I originally received a coupon for a discount that's what made me discover this place. I met Ashley and she took care of my smog inspection. Ashley was a fresh bright of sunshine. I loved her attitude. She was very professional and kind. Great attitude. I will definitely be returning next year for my next smog inspection and when I get up the money I will visit again for a car wash. I pulled up to the business on a weekday afternoon and there was no wait. I was met with a friendly person who immediately performed my smog check. I also was able to pay for the DMV registration renewal right there, with only a $5 fee. For this particular renewal, it was a fee easily worth my time. I appreciated the quick and friendly service. I don't know if there's new ownership or if they simply charge whatever they think they can get away with, but that kind of price hike is unacceptable. I'll never be back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone.
