This auto shop is fraud!!! Long story short; This CORRUPT auto shop charged my father for services that were never performed totaling to $2,500.00. I came in-person requesting invoices to provide me evidence of any parts ordered that was supposedly ordered to service my father's car, they couldn't provide me anything so the embarrassed manager told me to leave because he stated I was disturbing and trespassing as he threatened to call the police. Below are evidence that the bank has done their part investigating and providing full refund. I will definitely follow up filing official complaints to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, BBB, state attorney general and lawyers as this damages and financial stress caused my father to have a stroke just recently. I found this place looking for a smog check place close to the salt room. The one right across the street had a lot of bad reviews and in one bad review it said to go to this place instead! Thank God I read reviews! When I got there the smog check was pretty fast. They also found that my engine mounts were loose and the engine was bopping up and down when shifting from drive to reverse. Which I had noticed before a clunk when shifting but when I had asked my old mechanic he said everything looked fine. I was glad I wasn't imagining things and they confirmed my anxiety about that. They also found that the transmission fluid needed to be replaced. Needless to say I got all of it fixed as my car is a 2004 and I'm trying to make it last forever. I am so grateful this place found this issue and what that movement was. I double checked with chat gpt on the price range and it said it was good price so that was also reassuring that they weren't trying to rip me off because I'm a girl. Only thing was they said it would only take 2 hours (I was on a time crunch) and it took 3 Hours. Micah was at the front desk, hutch was the one that found the issue, and Angel was the one that worked on my car. All great. But then... two days later...so there is still some movement when I shift from drive to reverse, it's better but not by much, and they also left off my hubcap from my tire, AND they didn't charge me full amount they were supposed to so they were calling me non stop to get the rest of it. I finally called back when I was not working all day and I would've paid the rest regardless, even though it was not my fault because I am a firm believer in karma, but when I asked about the hubcap missing I heard the tech guy in the background say that there was not one on there when I brought in my car. Not true! Because I remember watching them work on my car and when it was lifted and they put my tire back on, I remember looking at it to make sure they put the hubcap back on, but then I forgot because of the other things. Then Hutch found it, of course, and so when I went back, I got my hubcap back. But I don't like liars. So the Tech lied about my hubcap. When I double checked the engine after they were finished in the beginning I also had the Tech there and asked him where the cap was to the windshield washer fluid container. He said I never had one there. That was also BS because I check that all the time. A minute later I found it off to the side. It was still hooked, but it wasn't put back on. So they literally LIED to me twice and I caught them red-handed. I do not like being lied to and I don't appreciate it. That doesn't look good. We will tell you that things are already missing when you brought it in, when they aren't. So take a picture of your car and your engine before you give it to them! Also how unorganized that those things happen. I would've given them a five rating anyway if the tech hadn't lied twice to me about the missing hubcap and the windshield washer fluid container cap. Attempted to scam me. I paid for a smog test with my relatively new 2021 car, they claimed it failed because it had been "tampered" with and it would be an additional 90$ to complete the test. Then, the manager theorized that someone might have put a GPS, a kill switch, or something else malicious in my car, and this would could an additional 250$. He also stated that there was a lot wrong with my car, ratting off many things, even though I had just been given full service by the dealership and was told everything is fine. This all felt wrong to me, so I took my 2021 car to a smog test station nearby, and it passed without issue. The technician there claimed that there are dishonest auto shops (like this one) that try to turn routine smog checks into unnecessarily expensive visits, and he said only use smog shops. I called this business back and politely asked for a refund and I was lied to again and told that there was something wrong with my car that the technician at the smog shop must have fixed for free. I hope they didn't damage my car as I was busy caring for my son while they were working on my car. I just moved to Las Vegas and needed an oil change. My neighbor suggested this place as a fast cheap option but warned me they would try to upsell me on repairs. Sure enough, as soon as the car was on the rack the service manager called me to tell me I needed my rear brakes replaced. Honestly, I was in need of the brake pads but short on time. He told me it would be an hour. It ended up taking an hour and forty minutes and then there was something wrong with the break sensor when I got it back. It took another 30 minutes for them to figure that out after googling it in their phones. I missed my other appointment and was unable to schedule and then they had the nerve to charge 3.5% for using a credit card, which is an operational cost that should not be passed on to customers. The receptionist sat in silence as I relayed my complaints. The only positive thing I will say is that they were all polite. I won't be back any time soon read more

I moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2019 and have been a customer of this company since then. They offer the cheapest Smog test for $9.99, so every year they take care of my car. However, this time the owner was different and the price was $19.99. I agreed to this price because I urgently needed a smog test before my registration expired. The lady told me that the tire rotation was complimentary, so I agreed. I would like to warn all future customers at this location: do not agree to the tire rotation. They messed up my axle control arm, front and back so that I will agree to their service to fix it. The manager, Deborah, gave me an estimate of $3,000 to fix it, which I disagree with. Now I have to find a mechanic to fix this. I cannot use my car now because it is dangerous to drive, ive to cancel all my Dr's Appointment, im disable. Why are these people doing this? Unfortunately I'm updating my review & taking it down to a ONE STAR. I had only been here maybe 2-3 times in the past just for a inexpensive Smog test. I had never had any issues when I've brought my BMER in for a smog test & never been told I had any problems that needed to be fixed. I called them about a week ago asking them if they did brake fluid service on on BMW's. I told them that my "service light for brake fluid" was on. I spoke to a young lady when I called & had asked "does this mean I need brake fluid added or does it need to be flushed out & replaced?" She told me it needed to be flushed out & replace. I asked "how much?" For some reason she wasn't able to tell me the price & had to put "the manager" on the phone. I spoke to a guy named Hitch/Hutch & explained why I was calling. He told me I could come in that day for a brake fluid service, told him I wasn't able to come until the next 3 days. Apparently you don't need to make an appointment for this. I asked "how much?" he told me "it's on sale for $189" when I asked "what does it normally cost?" he states "$260." We agreed that I would come the next morning after work. When I walked in & told the young guy @ the counter what I was there for & how I had called the day before. The girl that I had spoken to on the phone was there & remembered who I was from our phone conversation. Seemed that she was training this young guy. I had decided to wait in their small, cramped waiting room. After an hour of being there the manager Hitch/Hutch called me out into the shop. My car was lifted way up high so I could see underneath & Hitch (lets just call him that) had a flash light & shines it up on one of my tires & tells me "you need brake pads, there is nothing left." "You need all 4 brake pads, this is very dangerous & you didn't need your brake fluid done & you have had that done here before." First of all I have never had my brake fluid done here which I told him that & told him I've only have had my car smogged tested here so then he changes his story & says "well you've had it done somewhere according to your CarFax, it only needs to be done every 30,000 miles." He must love that flash light of his & just to shine it anywhere he feels like when I don't know where he is trying to point to. He then proceeds to tell me I should have come in for a "brake inspection." I reminded him that I spoke to him the day before & told him what I needed. He knew I was calling about a brake fluid service per my car. He then tries to tell me "a brake fluid service indicator light means you need new brake pads." I told him "yeah, I don't think so, its a service indicator light & my car has a light that will indicate me when I need new brake pads." He disagreed with me on this. Stupidest thing I've ever heard. I told him I didn't have time for brake pads to be replaced he says "it will only take an hr" told him "nope" he then says "we have financing available" I was like "nope, the place I normally take my car to keeps me updated on my wear & I would take it to them." He rolled his eyes at me in disbelief that I wasn't going to allow them to change my brake pads out & how dangerous it was to be driving my car. When he tried to tell me my brake fluid service light meant I needed new breaks AGAIN I told him how that light has been on since 08/2024...dangerously low my butt! Once he knew I wasn't breaking down for this service he goes over to another area under my car with his stupid flash light & tells me that piece "is broken & needs to be replaced" once again I have no idea what he is exactly flashing his light at & I tell him that & he continues to flash his light on the area. He seemed really annoyed that I was telling him NO & not giving them the OK to fix these apparently "broken & dangerous things." So after he told me my car wasn't due for a brake fluid flush I said "OK so then you guys didn't flush my brake fluid then?" He says "we already did it." REALLY?!?!?!? I would think that the better thing to have done was to check my CarFax report first, double check on why I was there to have told me I wasn't due for that service but who knows if he was even telling the truth since he lied about the other things. I went back to the cramped waiting room & was looking down @ my cell phone & he came out to the front desk to give the cashier the cost of the service & my "problems he found" with an estimate & told them "make sure to tell her, her brakes are dangerously low, there is no padding left & she shouldn't be driving her car." Now I'm the one rolling my eyes. After this experience & rip off I don't think I would ever bring my car back to this place for a Smog test & give them my money. I definitely will NEVER bring this in here for any car service and they didn't even bother to reset my brake fluid service light off so its still on saying I need it done or did they even really do it????????? Took my wife's car in for a smog check. A woman called me outside to show me something on the car. She has the hood up and asks the mechanic to rev the gas and says the motor mounts are failing and that I need new breaks and rotors. I said, "ok." She said, "so you want us to fix it?" I replied, "no thank you." Motor mounts didn't seem bad to me and neither did the pads/rotors. Paid for the smog and left. Days later, I took it to Henderson Chevrolet and asked them to check the motor mounts, break pads and rotors. The service guy cones back after checking the car and tells me nothings wrong with any of it. Shout out to Henderson Chevrolet for being honest, thumbs down and shame on Purrfect Auto Service for trying to scam people. This place is an absolute joke. I go here for smogs every year and this year they decided to raise the price to 19.99. Business must he slow because it has been 9.99 for as long as I can remember. This will only drive more people away, including myself. I agree to the price increase as I already have driven here and parked in front of the empty bay where they do the smogs. They insist on moving my car twice in and out of the bay to do the smog which was totally unnecessary. (I am the only customer, no other cars or people) Then decides to go and park my car in the spots that clearly say office parking only, instead of my getting my car from where I parked... I wait for my smog (which took 30 minutes) and have to go up to the front desk lady to finish the process. I wait another couple minutes for her to type whatever tf into the computer and then she tells me that there is a 3.5% fee associated with all credit transactions. At this point, I am annoyed because mind you I come here every year and this has never been a thing. It's only been 9.99 for every single car. I say ok, even for debit card transactions? She goes it all the same. I am like 90% sure that it is illegal to do that with debit cards. So to sum up everything. Save your money and your time and take your money elsewhere where PLEASE. Went in for smog check and was told car need air/cabin air filter , along with oil change and $489 maintenance service. Also was told a few fluids were low and they would top off for $25. I came here for a smog test to be completed. I was told maybe 20 minutes I will be in and out. Upon arrival they were kind and the guy that helped us was kind. Yet it took a little over an hour to do my smog check. Once the car was ready they called us to the car and said that we have oil in our engine.. Not exactly sure what it was called but said that he doesnt recommend driving it long distances because the car will go out and that he worked at Jeep before and has seen this. I have made a review on this business in the past, which was a good review, based on the first time I used their service! We have been going to this auto shop for the past five years, I am not sure during these years they change their management, but little by little we felt as they are becoming dishonest! Example: one time I was told by them that I needed to change my air filters, I agreed, apparently they changed my air filter. However when I got home and my husband checked my car, he told me they were not changed and I still had my old filter, even though I paid for replacement. Another example and more recent, I just went for my oil change, only because they offer more decent price, I was told my car in completely out of oil, and they need to use chemicals to was my engine and wanted to charge me $150. I went to Jiffy lube the same day, they checked my car, they said that was not true and my car was just fine, and just needed to get new oil. So, at this point I feel they probably are coming with inaccurate reasons to take more money out of you! We went to this business for 5 years and now I think it is time to change. Earlier this spring, my husband and I took our car to a Henderson, NV Purrfect Auto Service location for an oil change. They did said oil change and proceeded to tell us we had all kinds of things wrong with our car. But, we were informed that the car was safe to go to and from California, a trip planned for that weekend. I personally informed the tech that my brother and my cousin were mechanics. I made it clear I wanted the opinion of both of them first. We were told no problem. They would await our call. After consulting with both mechanics, we then took our car to a certified Honda Dealership in Henderson. The things we were told were wrong with our car were fine. After we called Purrfect Auto Service, we were informed they had already ordered the parts and thus, we would be charged a restocking fee for parts ordered. This is a disgrace. My conversation with the mechanic while my car was up in the air, and he was pointing out dangers with my car made me suspicious enough to get a copy of his "diagnosis" and associated costs. This simple solution should have been cancelling parts we didn't need or agree to; instead, what this business did is a horrendous abuse of senior citizens. I grew up with engines being changed outside my front door, and learning about automotives. My suspicions drove me to tell the tech that I was seeking other opinions. By the way, that tech is no longer there; I wonder why. I will pursue this with my credit card company, the BBB and consumer protection agencies. They picked the wrong lady to try and cheat. My dad was a stock car racer and world champ. I grew up going to race tracks; his race car was even named after me. This company engaged in fraudulent practices, ordering parts after telling us they would wait until a second opinion validated their evaluation. I had not one, not two, but three mechanics disagree. I even have the itemized bill from Honda. None of the things Purrfect Auto Service charged me for were warranted. This business should be avoided; they take advantage of people. The worst!! And seriously the worst customer service we've ever had in Vegas, we called to get a quote for a repair service on a compressor and alternator for our two cars. We've been customers of theirs for years, but the current receptionist HATES her job and it's really frustrating that as a customer when you call to request a quote, they hang up on you not once, but several times, even though they know who the person is contacting, just because we called back to ask another question before requesting service, if people HATE their jobs I don't understand why they continue to work there, besides the manager doesn't do anything about this rude and scary behavior! My husband, I, friends and my in-laws went for our smog checks for years, but this will NEVER happen again. I do not understand in what world it is possible that these people think they can talk to a customer like this. This is so DISAPPOINTING and DISRESPECTFUL. This place is about as crooked as they come. I come in to a get smog check done and they wouldnt do the check because my obd sensor was loose. He said that it was tampered. I explain that is from when I got my ac worked on and they needed to remove the paneling In the car to access the blow motor. He then refused and then charged me without even doing anything to my car. The lady at the desk said that if you can take it around the corner and snap it back in we can do the check and they would charger me to do the check again. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The owner is absolute trash.. and I mean that in the best way possible. We all need our vehicles worked on, but I urge you - do not do business here. They are shady, sleazy, and only are focused on how they can screw you out of your money. Professionalism does not exist for ANY of the staff. I have been here on multiple occasions and have gotten the same subpar service. Here's what happened the most recent time: I went in for an oil change. They told me I needed over $1,000 in work done. One of the "managers" there said he could get my price down if I would "give him my number." I walked out paying about $900, did not give him my number by the way (but he pulled my number from my file and texted me. Major creep!) Good thing I have a Google Voice number on file. Fast forward a month or so later, I have an oil leak - shocker! They said the oil pressure switch that they also worked on back a month or so prior could've been the cause so they want to give me a "discount" on the new work. Charging a crazy amount, $125, for a part that costs $45. Then the worker starts to talk bad about the guy who was there before asking for my number. So the staff doesn't even like each other. The guy who gave my recommendations said he'd "throw in the back part" but I couldn't say anything to the owner because he was an "asshole" (I certainly agree!). The white lady at the front even called me outside to talk bad about the owner. Saying he is shady and gets mad at them if they don't hike up the price. Fast forward after an hour of sitting there, they asked me to bring my car back the next morning. I ask why and they said to do the work. So I wasted my time sitting there while they were under my car, with the car in full suspension for over an hour for what ?! They said well we "topped off the oil" for you. I decided to leave only to get home 5 minutes later and my check engine light is on and the car is stuttering and acting weird. My light was NOT on before I went there. I go and they spend over an hour with my car. Now my check engine light is on. - You do the math! I called the next morning and the owner says "maybe you did something to your car, I didn't see the light on when you left us." He also begins to degrade me, talk over me saying its my fault the light is on. He is a major gaslighter and a sleaze. This is not the way to do business. I imagine they will be shut down in about a year. Service is absolutely trash. Along with so many other things. Save yourself the headache from the unprofessionalism here.
