Janet was amazing! She helped me with my smog and car registration, and the whole process was quick, easy, and stress-free. Took my Mother's Toyota Camry in this week for a smog. Was griping to Janet about the cost. She was really sweet and patient. I should have looked online first to acquire the $5 off coupon. I'm sorry for complaining to Janet about the cost. She's a great asset to Smog Busters and takes very good care of her customers from what I can tell. I look forward to seeing her again in a couple months when I need a smog on my Accord. read more

Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but the woman who helped me with my smog check was incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional. She made the whole process so easy. After my smog was completed, she was able to process my DMV registration right there for only an additional $10 and even printed my registration for me to use until my tags arrive. Talk about convenient! It was truly a one-stop shop for smog and registration, with exceptional customer service from start to finish. It's hard to find service this helpful and seamless these days. I'll absolutely be back for all my future smog checks and car registration needs, and I highly recommend Smog Busters in Henderson! read more

THIS IS A PSA Last month I went to this location, alone, unaccompanied by any male. Janet smogged my car. Fast and easy for $30. No shenanigans. I saw their sign saying they handle DMV services so Janet itemized everything on a piece of paper for me and the total came to $465 which included the $175 Smog Busters fee. Two days later I went back to the same location, still unaccompanied by any male, to have them handle all the DMV services and this guy, Blake U. was working there instead of Janet. After he collected all my info he told me it would cost $620!!! Supposedly he was on the phone with some woman from the Smog Busters office and they agreed on that price. He said that "the DMV changes their prices every day and he had to charge a buffer fee in case the DMV fees exceeded what he was going to charge me". ARE YOU KIDDING??!!HOW MORONIC!! I asked Blake to give me the bogus fee that he wrote down on a piece of paper but he refused. He said that "it would never stand because the DMV changes their prices every day". I'm an "older" woman so it seems like this was a clear case of sexism and ageism in the pursuit of ripping me off. Blake screwed his company out of $175 plus any future business from me. There are other companies that offer these services and I strongly suggest that you use those read more

Super fast! I was out in 15 minutes and they did my registration renewal right there. Couldn't have been more simple and easy. Janet was amazing. Friendly, funny and warm. Thanks for making that task a breeze! read more

Back at it again for the annual smog check. This year I was in at 8:15 and the technician was finishing up the car in front of me.I pulled in afterwards and we were off. Less than 12 minutes later we were good to go and I was climbing in my car to get to work. The data is processed to the DMV immediately and 30 minutes later I was able to complete my vehicle registration on the interwebs. I had the same friendly gentleman from last year and he's a happy pleasant fellow who gets you in and out Smog Busters pretty quickly. When it's registration time next year, I'll be back at Smog Busters as they provide a quick, drama free smog check with friendly service. Drive safe and Buckle up! read more

Got me in and out very very fast. She was really funny and kept conversation some people that do these smog kiosks just want to get it done as fast as possible with no conversation. But she even printed another paper for me to put in my window so my car doesn't get towed. Super helpful and I'll be coming back again and again read more

I was in and out within like 10 minutes... they had a unlv student working which I think was dope!

My husband and I have been coming here for the smogs for both of our cars for years. No more, we're much happier with a competitor around the corner. The main reason we are over this spot is the crabby man who works here. Every year it's the same bad attitude, like you're an inconvenience to him. Here are the three main incidents that pushed us over. 1. I waited forever while three cars went ahead of me and pulled in when it was my turn. The crabby man tried to argue with me that a car who had just pulled in was next. I know who came first because I had 30 minutes to watch everyone come and go. 2. Last year my husband arrived at 5:50 and the crabby man wouldn't do his smog because he said he was closed. Funny, his sign says he closes at 6:00, not 5:50. He should update his sign. So my husband had to leave work early twice to get his smog. 3. My husband forgot about last year and arrives this year. After WAITING for other cars, crabby man turns him away because it's now 5:45. Get this, he turns him away by shaking his head no and wagging his finger at him. My husband came home and told me f*** this clown. He declared that our household speaks with their money by not spending it here ever again. On top of the bad attitude, he takes twice as long to actually complete the smog over our new spot. I wish we had switched sooner. read more

This is my 2nd time here. The first time was with our large lifted F250, the guy down the road said the truck was too big to smog at the that location. I went to this location and the guys were fantastic. Value; cheaper than their competitors especially with the military discount! I came back again yesterday with my Tahoe & Leo was awesome! Leo was very professional, friendly, informative & all around pleasant young man to be around. It's not often you come across customer service skills that exceed expectation, so I find it important to acknowledge those who do. Leo, you are a fine young man, I wish you all the luck in your future endeavors, you're going to do great! read more

Check for coupons on the website. Best pricing and quick turn around! The service was amazing!

Attendant was rude and overall in a terrible mood. Wearing headphones the whole time. He doesn't pay attention to who comes first in line and just helps people randomly. I tried to ask where to park to see if he was following an order I wasn't aware off but he ignored me :( Also each smog test before me took 30 minutes each. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes further away to avoid dealing with this. Terrible!!!!!!!! read more

Quick service. There was only 1 car ahead of me so I didn't wait long at all. I tipped the gentleman $3 because I respect having to work in the elements year round. He thanked me profusely; very sweet man. read more

Very easy Smog test, friendly technicians . There can be a small wait as this location is very popular, well worth the wait though.

I have been getting my smog checks here every year for what seems forever. And it always seems to be the same kid, nice guy and it takes him 90 seconds from start to finish. Thank you my friend ;) oh and tip the guy y'all ....he's working hard out there in the sun xoxox this is Vegas we tip everyone. read more

Smog Busters - pull in head first :) - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

This is my "go-to" smog station when I need to get one for my Nevada cars registered. Quick, easy, no nonsense, and fair. Yes, it's a shack in the parking lot of a gas station but you don't get any bonus points for a nice looking smog station. All I care about is getting my smog certificate so I can register my vehicle and get on merry way to tackle the rest of my day. This place makes it very easy. If you're in the area and need a smog, this is the place. read more

Why this business chose to respond to a review a year and a half after I wrote it is beyond me. You say tips are for consideration? Your sign specifically says "please tip your tech", not tips are appreciated, etc. With so many smog shops on Stephanie closer to the DMV and providing better service, look elsewhere. read more

This is my second time there...always easy in and out. Friendly service with little wait.

Great knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient service technician. Been going there for at least 10 years. AAAAA+++++

Just got my husband's car smog checked at this location. AJ was working and he was awesome! Super friendly, super fast too. There was a car ahead of me when I arrived, but AJ was just about done with that customer. So including the wait for him to start on my vehicle, I was there 10-15minutes max! $22 cash or $23 card, which seems comparable with other places. I highly recommend this smog check business, especially if you're in a rush. A+! read more

It was that dreaded time of year when your registration is due and a smog check is required. Luckily I found a place that isn't busy. Located on the corner of Arroyo Grande and American Pacific, the little building is in the parking area of the shell gas station. It's very easy to get in and out. Plus it's far enough away from the actual DMV so it's not hectic. The gentlemen working was very polite and efficient. He had the smog check done so quickly. I'm happy the smog information is sent directly to the dmv so I don't have to drive the info over there. But I think most smog places do that as well. Then it's easy to update registration online. I am more than happy to use this location every year. It's one less thing to stress over. read more

Stopped by at 3pm today, well before the 4pm closing time and it was closed with a note saying they left at 1:30 and done for the day. Technician was cordial and efficient. They honor coupons from all other smog check places too.

This guy claims he has been doing smog checks for 20 years but he couldn't smog my RV without accessing a spark plug wire?! I left there to jiffy smog down the street and was in and out and no spark plug wires were needed. This guy at Smog Busters is more worried about tips then doing smog checks. read more

Car got reject and they still make you pay again to get it retested. This is a complete ripoff especially since most competitors allow you a certain number of retests before they make you pay again. Consider one of the many other options around that area. read more

Worst service I have ever received. Was waiting for 20 minutes as they slowly went through two cars. The attendant was flat out rude, and completely checked out mentally from being there, or caring about the job. Didn't care at all about the customer. First time I've ever gotten my vehicle checked and was told "we have to charge every time we run the test". I checked with surround smog test areas and they said there is usually an allotment of times for retest for another payment. It was more expensive than the surrounding smog test by at least $3. Charge was for $20. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. They obviously don't care, and they hire employees who also don't care. read more
