Run from this repair shop!!! I took my truck to get a simple oil change and the tech forgot to install all bolts or tighten the bolts that hold a large (2×3 foot) piece of metal that shields the underside of my truck. It came loose as I was exiting the highway emitting sparks and causing people to flag me over!! I made a claim to Firestones insurance, which is another incapable department, only for them to take ZERO responsibility for their mistakes!!! After a month of dealing with them and their denial of claim, hours at their shop they didn't even wave the initial cost that I paid for the expensive synthetic oil change! I was just at this location- they are very understaffed and it is hard on the workers. That isn't an excuse for front desk workers to be rude to customers and embarrass them in front of others when they ask for their keys back to go somewhere else by saying "some people don't understand what it's like to work alone". I came by this location after working a full day as a teacher where I do know exactly what it's like to work alone and deal with tons of problems and people with different needs, so I took this as a serious insult. It is the first time I have been publicly shamed by an employee in front of others, because I am always intentionally kind and gentle. Asking for a car that has a problem with locking/securing to be taken into a bay and not wanting to leave until it is isn't unreasonable- I was perfectly okay with taking it to another location to alleviate the load from the front desk and that was all I was trying to get across, and asked for my keys back multiple times so I could find somewhere else to have it locked in a garage before they closed. The next shop we went to put it in a bay instantly when I asked and was extremely kind. We won't be back to this location. Let me preface by saying I understand what customer service entails including all of its challenges. I'm generally positive and very optimistic by nature, and fairly patient bc I understand that s#!t happens.. This is literally the first time I've ever had to leave a negative remark about any business.. But if you value your time and hard-earned money, and you want to protect your finances then I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. AND HERE'S WHY: I originally went to this store the evening of Thurs, Dec 28 to get a quote for four new tires, and an alignment. I took my car in the following day on Fri, Dec 29 to have it serviced. After being there 4 -5 hrs, left their store with NO ISSUES whatsoever. That was until the following morn (Sat Dec 30), coincidentally my TPS light were all lit up on the dashboard.. I call that Sat afternoon and spoke to Alan explaining the situation over the phone around 3 -4pm in the afternoon, and he recommended to bring it back next day (Sun, Dec 31) indicating they were too busy to take in any other vehicles. I had to wait until Mon, Jan 1st due to personal reasons.. brought my vehicle back to have the TPS lights checked out. A young lady who helped me finally explained the issue after waiting another 4-5 hrs. Unfortunately they had to place an order for said TPS devices since they didn't have it in stock. She told me that they'd call me back once those arrived in store. I get home that same evening only to find that one of their techs who worked on my car damaged one of my wheels and broke the hubcap to it. And didn't bother telling anyone. AT ALL. The following day (Tues, Jan 2nd), waited all day long but didn't hear anything from this store. So I proceeded to follow back up with them by phone that evening and spoke to Alan again. He told me the TPS devices didn't arrive yet, and that he'd follow back up with that order.. He assures me that they'll call me once the order arrives. It is TODAY (Wed, Jan 3) and still no word from the store so I decided to give them a call bc at this point I just don't have any confidence that they will follow up with me. I once again speak with Alan.. He initially tells me that the ordered hasn't arrived, and I responded by asking if they'll call me or if I need to call back in to confirm that order. Mind you they have failed to reach out to me by phone, and it's been entirely up to me to be more proactive about this whole ordeal.. That's when Alan changes his response to go do a more diligent check for that order. Places me on brief hold, and comes back to confirm that the order is in-store. IN THAT MOMENT, Alan tells me that they're too busy.. But then pauses, and corrects himself and says "you know what, go ahead and bring your car in and we'll have it done within the hour or so" I get to the store, and they literally weren't even busy at a glance as they had only maybe two vehicles in their bay areas being worked on. But the service ends up taking an additional 2-3 hours, and bc I've had to be more proactive at this point I noticed my car was staged into a parking space back in front.. At this point, I am purely frustrated with this whole experience! Once I finish checking out for the TPS device installation, I told Alan that one of his techs had broken one of my wheel hubcaps and what is the best way to get this handled.. I remained calm but was so upset (screaming inside my head), bc nobody bothered telling me about the broken hubcap issue along with the combination of issues I've personally encountered at this store.. What I have learned by this whole experience??! THIS STORE seriously lacks leadership, customer service, integrity. This store overall was very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with! If you value your time and money then save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.. But if you choose to still go to this store for any kind of service then proceed with extreme caution and be aware that they will upsell you on their other products and services. They told me an hour to patch my tires. 1 hour turned into 3. Then they come out telling me that the small patch they used wasn't working so they're trying a big patch. They come back out again and then try to sell me a whole new tire because the "tire was still leaking air". Came off like they were just about trying to make a buck off me. I literally tell them I didn't want to buy expensive tires. The first quote one of them gave me was for the most expensive kind that would run $1400 before tax. After voicing my concern about the price he THEN shows me options for WAY cheaper tires that were half the price. They want to make a sale not help find solutions. The only reason they get 2 stars is because after it was all done they didn't charge me for the patch. But they wasted 3 hours of my time for something that should have taken 30 mins. I purchased 2 Primewell 40k warranty tires at the Campbell & Jupiter store. After 20k miles both tires showed thread on the outside edge of both tires and needed to be replaced. I have a Firestone lifetime alignment service for my car and maintained wheel alignment but the tires wore unevenly as described above. I pointed this out to the manager when I went for maintenance and said that it is a warranty issue. He said to bring it in the next day for tire replacement and warranty adjustment but another manager was there the next day and she said I should have rotated the tires so the warranty would not applied. We dropped our car off for a diagnostic test on a Friday. Then, on Saturday, we called around 9 am just to see if they had an eta for the test to be done. We were told we would know something at 1 pm. We called at 1:45 pm and we were told there was another car ahead of us. At 4 pm, there was still another car ahead of us. So, surely they should know something on Sunday, right? No. We come in on Sunday, and then they say, "Oh, the technician that runs the diagnostic tests only works from Mon-Sat." Unacceptable, if he couldn't get to the car when he said he would, then that part should have been explained in advance. And why there is always just one technician to do anything at these places is beyond me. I'll never understand that part. So, don't waste your time if you are expecting an answer in a timely fashion from these people because they will definitely put you on the hurry up and wait schedule. And then when you come in, their attitude is like, oh well. So, basically, we ended up just taking our car somewhere else because they obviously don't care about our business. Doesn't make any sense to have someone's car just sitting outside for days waiting on a diagnostic test to be done on it. Nobody has time for that. read more

I dropped off the car around 2. Found out at the end of the day they weren't even going to be able to get to the car today. Why would you tell me you can do it today if you can't. 0/5 stars!!! A complete shamble of a place, I remember at one point this Firestone used to be a very good place for car services. Unfortunately that's no longer true. From horrible customer service to long waits and to many times unresolved issues. This place checks all the boxes for the wrong reason. It's very unfortunate because it's the one closest to the house. But I will be going to other locations from now on and encourage many others to do the same if they want quality services to match their efforts in return for their hard earned money. Money well spent will be better elsewhere, there is a lady that works in the garage. And I was blown away with how rude, horrendous customer service and unwillingness to help. Had me standing outside in the hot sun for better part of an hour just to turn me away. I rode by bike here and just needed a little air and she kept me out there waiting for such a long time even though the garage was practically empty. Just had 1 car inside with many others there just standing around. In the end she didn't even put in any air and complained of not being able to pump air. So I had to find a guy that was nice enough to let me use his air machine to pump air into the tires elsewhere. That was the final straw for me. This came off of the back of many other transgressions that also resulted in a negative experience. But this one took the cake. As I rode back home as a sweaty mess being out in the sun without any solution from them that is supposed to be equipped for stuff like this. But instead had a guy in a truck help me out more than an auto/mechanic shop could. Go figure read more

Took my car here to get and alignment. Had an appointment set at 2 pm took the car in at 11 am . Waited for a call for pickupwhem it was done and never got one called at 4:30 and they still haven't touched my car . They close at 5 pm on sundays . I get there and they give me keys and an alignment paper from another car from 2006. I have no proof what was fixed and improved on my car . I'm really in disbelief that a company will just out right lie about service needs. Just left firestone about 2 hours ago: Had to do a inspection for Goshare job. Inspection completed with firestone and firestone stated "Oh you failed because your brake drums are completely bad and not safe........I was like wait.....my dad serviced the truck August 2016 for all brakes and rotor......firestone said, well to pass it will be $268. I talked a friend who has a auto shop and he told me he needs to review the truck but the price should be around $160 for Chevrolet Silverado 2011 drums. New firestone guy at the same shop tells me he will do it for $179.00. I left and went to a SUPER AWESOME place..... Brake Plus in Rowlett....... Mike the Brakes Plus owner inspected my truck FOR FREE!!!! Then SHOWED me all my brakes, rotors, and pads......he said not one thing is wrong with the drums. He gave recommendations on so heat spots but the truck pass with FLYING COLORS.....wow firestone WOW. You should be ashamed and have the nerves to put Integrity in your shop WOW. read more

Avoid this location and many Firestones for that matter at all costs. They stripped a bolt to the frame of my vehicle during an alignment because the technician used an impact to tighten a bolt. There is no telling the cost of these repairs or even if its possible to be repaired at all. The fact that they let my vehicle roll out of the shop without saying anything says enough to me, the lack of care for safety is unbelievable. This location has been horrid with customer service over the past six months. The GM has confirmed two separate appointment times prior to this alignment which was never upheld when I brought my vehicle in. The appointments weren't even written down, nobody knew anything and suggested I wait for three hours in line both times. As a former diesel technician in the Marines and as a former employee of Firestone itself, the treatment and lack of care from this establishment is grotesque, to say the least. My first time going here today for a cheap oil change. I've heard good things from some coworkers so I thought I'd give them a try with a coupon that they have for only $25. TERRIBLE MISTAKE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I called before I went and the guy said oil change is about 30 mins. I checked in at 10:40 and the guy said it'll take 30 mins so I told him I'll go grab a bite and will be back. Came back and my car is still not done. Sat and waited and again he said 30 mins. Then my car was finally up next. Now I'm already frustrated so I asked him how long will this take because I'm trying to get back to work. Then he said 20 mins and without any hesitation he just yelled out to the guy "take her car out. She needs to leave." WHAT THE HELL IS HE TALKING ABOUT??? I waited 2 hours so what's 20 mins more? They can keep their little coupons. Next time I'm going back to Jiffy Lube, pay my $60 and be done on 30 mins. Took it in to have them figure out why the AC wasn't blowing cold on a thursday. Told them I had a warranty from the dealer that covered many parts. They didn't get to it Thursday. no problem it was late when I left it. They called me in the morning Friday to tell me that they were having problems reaching my warranty company because they were out to lunch. okay.. I said. keep trying. nope. Saturday Sunday and finally Monday the call back and tell me the warranty company wouldn't cover the part that was bad. Fine. what is wrong with it? AC compressor Relay. And we need to drain the system and fill it back up. hmmm okay I went to pick it up they had the part sitting in the bag with my keys. I asked him if I could just buy the part from them since they wanted $360 DOLLARS! To which he replied, "why would you do that?" you still need the machine to suck out the coolant and replace it. Bull crap. It was a $20 dollar part you can get at almost any parts store that snaps in and out of my fuse box. took all of 20 seconds to replace. 20 dollar relay and 50 dollars for them to tell me what was wrong and try to rip me off.. This location has always been full of jerks. BTW replaced the 20 dollar part blows COLDDDD and the fluid level was JUSTTT FINNEEEEE! thanks for the diagnosis I guess... also if it were necessary to suck out and recharge my system the guy at the Texaco station on plano road and campbell said he would do it for $90 at least half of that price is the fluid alone. They listened to me and explained what they will look at and diagnose. They called once they found all the issues and completed my car repair that day! Our family stopped in at 4:55 today to see if we could get a state inspection and oil change for the wife's vehicle. A slovenly gentleman named Nolan approached us and greeted us with "Sup?". After hearing the reason for our visit, he pulled his cell phone from his pocket and said, "ain't no way we can do that today, we are about to close." I went in the office and was greeted by the manager Gene "hey" as he was doing something with a child behind the counter. He told me they were not going to be able to help us because he showed it to be later than the actual current time, didn't have an inspector there, and it had been a rough day. The prior reviews are really old. It seems to me that there is new management. I had a bad battery that was under Interstate Battery warranty. Being a Interstate Battery representative, Firestone could only give me $35 credit. The manager said this didn't seem right/fair and suggested I take it to Interstate and see if I get more credit. I did. I got a replacement at 1/2 the price. When I was at Firestone, it seemed like the customers were regular clientele and were pleased to do business there. I've been going to this location for a long time. Can't always get you in immediately, but they have good service. Waiting area is comfortable (but small) with a TV, a newspaper, an excellent selection of current magazines that appeal to both men and women. Bathroom has always been clean. If you need an alignment, get their lifetime alignment. It is a BARGAIN! My minivan always ends up needing a re-alignment a couple of times a year. I get terrible anxiety attacks, so I quickly dropped my car off and walked out of there, later to return an hour later. The second I entered the shop I felt one coming on. You greeted me with a smile. I started expressing some concerns and unfortunately I slowly started entering an episode. He went above and beyond and not only unknowingly calmed me down, but he came around the corner to hug and comfort me. It can be really stressful going to places, and I can confidently say Firestone 3443 did the opposite for me. You treated me like family even though we had just met, listened to my concerns, gave me advice, and had my car ready before the quote time all for the cheapest price I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. DO NOT take any kind of sports car or low riding vehicle here because they think it is completely acceptable to pull the car up over the curb and scratch the bottom of the front as if the concrete curb is a cheese grater. To make matters worse, the management thinks it is perfectly acceptable for them to do that to your sports car. DO NOT trust them when dealing with a woman!! I had used them myself on and off for a couple of years, and I recommended my fiancé (now wife) take her car to them. They blatantly lied to her, and when I took her car to them a day or so later, they told me a completely different story about what work needed to be done. Tech striped not one but five lug nuts. Then they didn't have any in stock to correct the damaged done by tech .I had to wait 45 min for someone to order and deliver. Didn't listen to my request to rotate tires properly . Had to explain in garage how to rotate tires from rear to front . When it was time to pay for service , they didn't honor a coupon for 50.00 dollars. Cashier then charged me 35.00 for lug nuts that they striped . Finally After nine hours of waiting starting at 7:00am to 4:00pm to buy one tire and a simple tire rotation .Taking into consideration how busy the week ends are I did come back later at 2:00 for the service which took two hours to complete . When I got into car to drive off I had to turn around and go back for them to reset tire sensor on dash board which took another 30 minutes to figure out . For being such a large operation I wasn't t impressed at all by the way they handled their business . Total spent 169.93 Not to mention the email they sent the next day to find out how they did obviously I told them exactly what what I have here in the review and that a representative would be contacting me with I the next two business days not true at all still waiting for them . Good thing I didn't t hold my breath cause I d be Blue . Go to the Mexican tire shops they LL patch or plug your tire with out all the red tape bull crap . And one more issue to top this off reluctantly had to buy one more tire to match the other side so I call the other shop across town and they had it in stock .Upon arrival when I got there they told me that they sold all four yea right just my luck . So now I walked out pissed off got in my car called another shop in Rowlett and they said yes they do so naturally I told them to hold it for me I LL be there with 30 min to buy it . So now I m there to pay for it with my debit card and they asked for my vin # , license plate # , Drivers license # , what the hell . The vehicle I drove over there is not even the vehicle that the tires were going on . I was buying the lousy tire from them to have it mounted somewhere else Please ! The location contacted me after I posted this review and apologized plus gave me a refund. Although the facts of the original review still are a bit annoying (we were trying to repair the vehicle right before a trading it in as we knew the vibrating would discount the trade in heavily), I do have to commend the manager on his professionalism, quickness in handling it and over all handling of this. We knew/know the passenger side front engine mount on my car was bad and had even read the service bulletin by Honda on how to replace it. The only worry is if you were without the right equipment, you might damage the engine when balancing it on a jack so I called Firestone. I was told the lead tech was out but bring it up and the other tech would see if it was something he could do. From the Honda service bulletin, I wasn't too worried as it was listed as 20 minute repair. On the phone I was told it would be approximately $337. The tech came out, looked at and said if it was the mounts under the car (which makes sense as you have to remove the engine), it would need to wait til the lead tech was back but the front one was no problem. We go in and the tech told the guy to order the torque strut mount. I should have questioned the transaction then and cancelled as the torque strut is different than the front engine mount. However, there are kits with both pieces. I was told that it would actually be $246. We pick up the car, asked to see the piece that was ordered as it was bugging us, and sure enough, it was only the torque strut. I was also told that my side mounts might need replacing. Problem is the mount that needed replacing still hasn't been replaced and I am out $246. You can see the mount when you open the hood and it still needs replacing. read more

Been a customer for over ten years and won't be returning. 5 sets of tires. Last 3 appointments all had issues -- all related to poor management. Appointments mean nothing, work is not done when promised, and Enterprise Rent a Car business comes before everyone else. And you will get an earful about the problems they're having in the shop, as if that's YOUR problem as a customer. Very unprofessional. Came in for an oil change and tire rotation, Todd sold me on lifetime alignment program. I'm on the road a lot, had no problem agreeing to this. My main concern coming in was the passenger's tire always being super low. If I had to, I was ready to fix it. Todd mentioned there was no problems, but may have to change two tires in the next two-three oils changes. Totally agree and will most likely do it. Pick up my car at the EOD, pay, start driving and to my surprise my tires are the same PSI (very low) as when I came in just on the opposite side (due to tire rotation). My main concern wasn't addressed and now I had to go back. I come back the next day, the lady at the counter was so dismissive, zero customer service skills, she didn't apologized and said we'll get to it, when we get to it. So, if I'm not spending hundreds of dollars I'm no one and we'll see when and if you can help me? Disappointed! read more
