We came to discount tire with a tire that had a puncture in it. We made an appointment, but we came early. Darren is an exceptional representative of Discount tire. He was really informative and informed us about the status of all of our tire conditions. He recommended us some really good tires and even looked up sales for us. We were in and out which took about 35 minutes. Really great service and a shout-out to Darren for the great service read more

Really great service! I came in on two occasions in the span of a month as I had picked up a nail in the same tire both times. On each of my visits, the staff was very personable and did a great job. I enjoyed chatting with Garrett. They repaired and patched the tire for absolutely free and it took less than 2 hours both occasions! read more

I had an appt setup for 1:30 but the app defaulted me to the wrong store. DJ was great and helped me out right away and got me in and out quick. We use Discount Tire for all our vehicles and they do a great job even despite how busy they are. read more

Elderly parents went in for a tire repair patch. Got sold on 3 new tires before it was likely time for a replacement. My elderly parents asked about the cheapest model and the salesman said that model isn't highway worthy. That is dishonest, all new tires are highway worthy. If they weren't, they wouldn't be on the market and Discount Tire wouldn't carry them. My parents were probably sold on tires we didn't need yet at $200 more OTD than what we could have gotten at our local big box stores. read more

Came in to get air in my tires and was told one of my tires needed to be checked out as it was too low for them to put air. Once checked, they found a nail was in my tire and told me they would try to see if it could be patched up and if not I would need a new tire. They were able to save my tire and patched it up for me, all this was done for free. I've been to other places before and have always been charged for them to patch it up. I will definitely be back if I ever need to change my tires. Super friendly and helpful staff. read more

Amazing service backed by an amazing team! Victor, Karl and Taylor are great in the lobby/sales(?). Told them what was wrong with the car and they were on it, sending it to the back for servic. After a little late, due to a pretty busy time, the Tire tech, Melvin, did his voodoo magic and was done within 30 minutes!!! When he gave me the keys he quickly went over what he did and gave me a few things to look out for in the coming days/weeks/months, and to be sure and comeback if I any other concerns or issues. will definitely be coming back for this level of service!!! - Jay read more

I took my car in for normal tire issues & after handing my car keys to the salesperson Brandon, I asked if anything was needed from me before I left & he goes "maybe some patience?" Over the last few years I have bought 3 sets of tires (Corvette, Raptor and 2023 F-150) and today a set of Fuel wheels for the F-150. Every time I buy something at the Wylie Tx. Store they say, "we'll give you a call when your order comes in, or we will call when your vehicle is ready". Never got a phone call for any of the above. Wheels came in, again no call. This is after the salesman asks if my phone number is a good one to call, I tell him yes. No call but around 5:00 yesterday I check my email. They had emailed me at 2:00 saying wheels were in. No one ever said shit about emailing me. If they would have called(as promised twice) I would have gone up there and had wheels installed. Instead I had to juggle schedule to bring in today. Stressed to them to please call when truck was ready. Again no call. Called myself and sure enough truck was ready. Not even an email this time. I'll be looking for new tire/wheel dealer in future. Received email from Discount TIre on 9/7 after a review on FB saying they would contact me within 24 hrs. Here it is 9/9 and still no contact from Discount Tire. Apparently they are contacting challenged but have no problem taking my money. read more

I hate to leave a bad review about Discount Tire in Wylie, because it was my favorite tire store. Today, 8/31/2024, I just purchased 4 Hankook tires and spent almost $900.00 . On the way home, I had to stop and get air as the sensors were reading low. After checking all tires, they were all low. As far as the professionalism of the store, everytime a technician or salesperson went through the door to the service area - it sounded like a concert and very loud. The technicians were yelling and screaming most of the time and all could be heard even before the door was opened. I know it is a small issue, but I only got back two of the four special order valve stem caps. I don't think I will be using this store again. read more

Purchased Michelin best 4 tires in 2020 for 80K warranty. Came in today to have them take a look at my tires. Tires already cracking. New Michelin best defender 2 would've cost $197 each. But your sales person Richard offered to prorate the old tires and I was able to save $304.28. Also he told me I needed new wiper blades and he offered $5 each and to put them on. Additionally, the lug nuts were swollen so he threw in a set of free lug nuts all the way around. I wasn't expecting all of these blessings. I have always trusted Discount Tires for 20+ years. The customer service here at the Wylie store is impeccable and is to be commended, and recommended. Thank you so much from a loyal customer, Jerry G read more

I am beyond impressed with the quality and level of service. Customer for life. read more

Took my car in with screw in the rear passenger tire. Technician looked at it and said it would be 50-50 chance of fixing. They said it would be a long wait because they were busy. I said no problem I needed the tire fixed. After over a three hour wait the car was done. I thanked them for the free service and left. Next day I see the screw in the tire. I called and was told they wrote up that the screw was in driver side tire. So they didn't feel the need to check other tires when they didn't see the obvious screw in the tire, that the technician SAW in the passenger tire when he wrote it up. Will never take my car to them again with that kind of effort. read more

It's 5:30, it's closed. I drive up with a nail in my tire. It's 100 degrees outside and these guys are obviously ready to go home. Roger Torres went to talk to manager Bill Guy and he came out with a smile on his face, took my keys, sent me into the AC of the already locked building and took care of my tire. Obviously not the ideal Saturday situation when you are ready to get off work but this is true customer service. SO APPRECIATED. Kuddos to these awesome people! Thank you read more

A BIG shoutout and thank you to Richard for his kindness. I had a damaged tire on an 11 month old car and they didn't have it in stock. I needed it that day and the dealership had it in stock. Came in to buy 4 tires and 4 wheels for my Nissan Altima 2 door coupe. Dillon took care of me and did a good job. However, things didn't go smoothly at first. The Discount Tire at 3081 Longtown Commons Dr in Columbia, SC was supposed to deliver 3 of my wheels, but failed miserably, failing to take responsibility, and blaming Fed Ex. A lot of shady business practices is going on there. One of the wheels that they were supposed to ship arrived in Mesquite, TX, and guess what? The box was EMPTY!! How do you not know that a box that weights around 30lbs is empty? Who's managing that store? The 3 stooges? Dillon finally gave up on that store and he got another store from Colorado to ship my last wheel and it arrived in a timely manner. So, yeah a long stressful ordeal, but I'm happy with the end result. read more

Was tasked by the husband to handle a rim situation...which was NOT in my wheelhouse (see what I did there?)... I went to discount tire and was incredibly fortunate to get Roger Torres on the phone. He spent a ton of time talking me through options and choices before I'd even gone into the store. When I did go in, he was SO kind and knowledgeable. I felt like he was able to help me, not talk down to me, and ensure I was making the best decision, again, one I wasn't qualified to make. It was an expensive decision and he made sure I know all facets of what I could do before I made it... He then personally went and picked up what I needed and made sure it was all handled quickly and also done well. I am so thankful I grabbed his cars b/c he will be my go to guy from now on! read more

Due to construction in the wylie and Plano area I got several nuts and screws 9n my rear tires. I had planned on buying 2 of a certain tire since I have a performance car. I was met and treated within 5 min of walking in. I explained what was going 9n and was offered different tire brands if I needed that day ( what they had in stock they will order what you need but it's better to make an appointment) I waited an hour there were customers ahead of me again I was a walk in. They took my rear tires off took the screws out and either they didnt leak ( my tire pressure lights kept coming on that's why I went there) or they were patched I was NOT charged. Something about a safety thing. This was my first time at this location. I usually go to garland on 78. But when i need tires i might give this place a try. read more
