Unfortunately, our last two experiences have been very disappointing. Most recently, I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM to have a front-end suspension issue diagnosed. By 2:45 PM, I had still not received any update, so I called to check on the status. The employee I spoke with seemed unsure of what was going on and told me he needed to check on something. He said he would have more information within an hour and would call me back, but I never received a call. Later, when my father called, we were told that the car had received an oil change, even though we had never requested one. However, when I arrived at the shop, I was then told that no oil change had actually been performed. The conflicting information only added to the confusion and made it difficult to have confidence in the service being provided. This follows another disappointing visit where we were given a repair estimate, but when it came time to pay, the bill was hundreds of dollars higher because a brake job had been left out of the original quote. What makes this especially frustrating is that we have trusted this shop for decades. My father has been a customer since the 1970s, and we continued bringing our vehicles there because of that trust. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, conflicting information, and inaccurate estimates during our last two visits have left us very disappointed.

Hi All, I visited…read moreMeineke Store# 2383 at 10501 State Ave, Marysville, WA 98271 on 09/07/2024 to get the issue related my 2016 Honda Accord's rear left door not locking automatically addressed. I was scheduled for the Electrical Analysis of my Car in relation to this problem. Post analysis, they concluded that the Door Actuator is degraded and needs to be replaced (screen-prints of bill and analysis report attached here in). I scheduled for having it fixed per their analysis and setup an appointment a weeks out - since the part was not readily and would that time to arrive. It was also identified that my brakes were worn out, however since they were under warranty with Firestone, I visited Firestone @Everett the next day to have that addressed and also sought second opinion / estimates for similar replacement based on above analysis. The Price they quoted for actuator replacement was more competitive and parts were made available more quickly, so decided to got with him. However, even after actuator the replacement the problem couldn't be fixed and they raised concerns about Meineke original analysis and captured this in the service bill as well. Since the original analysis was not done by Firestone, they couldn't cover for that and I have to for another round of Electrical Diagnostic with Firestone (and pay for it, though they applied discount) - only to conclude it was just a wiring issue (bill for service attached) and it could have been addressed right there, during the Electrical analysis done at Meineke on 09/07 itself - rather than going through all this pain and visits. I reached to the store, to address for the mistake they have done and trouble caused due to bad analysis and corresponding resolution at their part thrice. I called Greg's Japanese Auto to make an inquiry into the specific date that I had the service done and if I was still under warranty or guarantee of service on work done. My brakes are squealing very loudly. The level of push back and gaslighting I received from the person I spoke to was insane. It's super frustrating and annoying that they are not willing to provide customer service after spending $3000.00 plus with them. Since that is how they want to operate. I can guarantee, Greg's Japanese Auto will never have my business again, no matter what location. I went to the one on 19998 Highway 99.

We were in a pinch, as our water pump needed to be replaced before a coming road trip. Our regular…read moremechanic could not fit us in, but he recommended ONB, who was able to get us in that day (mid-July of 2026). ONB staff were very courteous and helpful, and good communicators. They replaced the water pump and found a few other concerns. Prices seemed high. They also asked if we wanted our rear brakes replaced (citing 4 mm status). We said no thank you but after our vacation double checked our paperwork from our regular mechanic. Sure enough, he had replaced our rear brakes in March of 2026. Since then, we'd put 1600 miles on the car. As a result of this observation by ONB, we took our car back to the original mechanic in August 2026. He wanted to confirm that the brakes were not defective. He removed the wheels and confirmed that they were still in perfect condition. Our mechanic stated that our front brakes would eventually need to be replaced, but no time soon. So, we were left wondering why ONB told us this information. My husband reached out to Tyler at ONB, asking why we were told our rear brakes were at risk. Tyler was polite and willing to dialogue. He stated that they must have made an error, that perhaps they wrote the information for another customer on our account. Tyler said that they wouldn't have replaced the rear brakes had we brought them in and the mechanic discovered their error. When my husband revealed that the front brakes were needing eventual replacement, Tyler stated that this must have been the issue - they meant to write front, not rear. In the best-case scenario, they would have discovered their error and not replaced the rear brakes. Worst case scenario, they were lying to us and trying to get us in for extra work. Either way, we don't feel comfortable returning.
