Spent $63 on 3 sandwiches. Got home and was so disappointed, my large cheesesteak was mostly mayo and peppers and like a tablespoon of meat. No cheese either! Seriously not ok. Other sandwiches were fine. I definitely won't be back, not for a cheese steak anyways.

This is what I bit into.

The sandwich had paper in it. I imagine it's something that the meat or cheese was attached to and someone forgot to remove it. Needless to say, I stopped eating after that and will not return.

TLDR: Overall another fast food style sandwich establishment. Amazing and friendly service, average tasting sub that's over priced. The ambiance: the restaurant is new so it's really clean. There's decor throughout that fits the motif of a firehouse. There's ample seating and tables so it can accommodate any sized group. 4/5 The service: 5/5! Without question the friendliest employees present. Able to answer questions and provide suggestions. It was my first time at the restaurant and they made me feel welcomed. I would come back for the service! 5/5 The food: Unfortunately the sandwich was less exciting. The price was steep in comparison to some other non chain restaurants as well as the chain competitors. The bread was average, the ingredients seemed fresh, but not blown away by the price. The pickle was great! No special sauces or flavor profiles to write home about. 3/5 If you're hungry there's other sandwich options available that taste better and that are more reasonably priced. You're not going to blown away but you're also not going to good home feeling bad. Service is again outstanding!

Firehouse has the best fast and casual subs among its competitors. The meatball is definitely a favorite of mine, and the Italian isn't far behind. Honestly any sub I've had from Firehouse has been great. Nice and fast service as wells.

There are a couple places to sit indoors and outdoors, we opted to sit outside. Our cashier, Alex was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger protein style and regular size of tater tots. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the tater tots tasted fresh and were crunchy. The prices are affordable and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

My review is based solely on an ongoing parking issue and not on the quality of the products or…read moreservice. The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

And the toast was lightly garlicky, which was a delightful surprise. I went with the Slim sauce as the condiment, and I wish there were two tubs of it because it was delicious and I dipped both the tenders and the fries in it! Service was fast and the staff was helpful as it was my first time there, so I had questions. I went through the drive thru which was very quick.

Solid edition, the chain lineup in South Reno. Normally this wouldn't be my choice, but I've got…read moreyoung kids and they are all about the chicken tenders. Luckily, the ones here at Slim Chickens are fresh and well seasoned, and it come with a range of delicious Housemade sauces that made for a great experience each time. Unintentionally the spot has become our go to value meal when the kids are pleading for us to take them out for lunch for dinner. The Sunday special where a kid meal is $1.99 with the purchase of an adult meal has become a once a month treat. Having the app also has exposed to other unique offerings and their newest menu addition too. They've been doing a lot of solid digital marketing in the general vicinity as well and I often find great value offerings through that channel as well. Most recently that was discovering the 20 piece boneless Hall, which for $10 was enough to feed both of my kids or me a little snack and one of the kids as well. Four stars is because sometimes the offerings shown online are a little tricky to find either in the app or at the kiosk in store. I've had to start orders on the kiosk, then abandoned them and then head to the cash register where the friendly staff is more than willing to jump in and help me locate exactly what I'm talking about. They've never seemed to not know about a promotion which I do really appreciate. The chicken tenders are usually well cooked and crispy and juicy, but I do find them a bit on the salty side personally, some of the sauce is also fall a little bit flat. I tried the cayenne ranch last visit and thought it barely had a kick or any flavor beyond being just a loser style ranch dressing. The fries are really weird. I think they need some work unless I say something specifically I feel like I always get the end of the bachelorette prize they're warm, not hot but they're limp and often quite greasy if I ask them well done or Crispy I feel like they get overcooked so I just don't know at this point how to best enjoy the french fries here. All that service is always 100% and the staff is always able to put a smile on your face. My kids ripped through the sauces and the staff never hesitate to hook them up with extra one or two and they always treat them with the same respect, they would treat us at the counter, which I greatly appreciate. Again, I'm very solid addition to self Reno from Guy Wootan. I'm happy my kids dragged me in the first time and will continue to visit in the future.

This is the newest location in our area and it's just as great as any other location I've ever been to! It's nice to have multiple locations locally, because, as we all know if we've been to one, the lines are always long...because the product is so good...but, they always move fairly quickly. This location is no different in that regard. Let's start with the fact that I don't eat fast food if I have a choice as to what I'm going to get! I traveled the USA and Canada for many years playing Sax with lots of bands (www.RickMetz.com) and the only choice I had was wherever the band vehicle stopped. Usually, we were under time constraints and we got the quickest thing available. I never liked it... But, if there was a little extra time available, I'd try to find a "real" restaurant in the vicinity to eat at. Didn't happen as often as I would've liked, but I made do. I've tried multitudes of fast food places because of those circumstances...nothing was really to my liking...especially the "major" fast food chains...you know which ones I'm referring to. Then I tried In N Out while touring through California!! OMG! I loved it! Smiling, friendly employees, clean establishments, great customer service...and still fast. (Pro tip: if the drive thru is jam packed? Park and go inside) Always made fresh and to order... Once I learned the "secret menu", that was the kicker for me! (https://www.in-n-out.com/menu/not-so-secret-menu) To be able to customize my burger in any way I wanted it at a "fast food" restaurant? Blew my mind! This is the ONLY "fast food" that I'll seek out... There's lots of debate as to their fries and their shakes. I like the shakes, but only get one once in a while...not a fan of the fries...but, I don't eat a lot of fries anyway... My go to? 2x3, Animal style, no pickles, no tomatoes, add hot peppers. Always delicious! Even though the price has increased over the years, I still feel that it's well worth it. You should try it to see what YOU think!

Very impressed with how they handled the large crowd of customers. The ambiance was bright with natural and ceiling lights. The outside seating was comfortable and relaxing while you ate your food.
