I grew up eating McAlister's and have ordered the same Grilled Chicken Club since the early 2000s…read more It's a basic sandwich, but I seriously can't get enough of it! I could easily replicate the sandwich to save me some money (and a 25 min drive on a good day), but it's the nostalgia and tastiness that keeps me coming back. What it is: The Grilled Chicken Club is a simple, yet refreshing layered sandwich made with slices of wheat bread spread with dijon honey mustard and mayo, then stacked with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and sliced grilled chicken. I can literally recite the exact ingredients from memory. The cookies are delicious, the sweet tea is spot on, and the soups are always solid. A cashier recently recommended me the lasagna soup from my regular chicken tortilla soup, and now I can't stop making my own version at home. If this McAlister's ever closes, I will be devastated!!! Unfortunately, this location does not serve mashed potatoes as a side, which is a bummer!!

I am neither greeted by the cashier on her phone, nor given any sign that orders are kept elsewhere. After almost 10 minutes, I see someone else go to the counter and ask where their order is. When i walk ip to do the same, we are told that they have a problem with theft so they keep everything behind the counter now. A practical solution a suppose. But a sign slob the aforementioned area, or maybe greeting the waiting customer, would be good additions.

AKA MEAT! toppings were fresh around the board - and everyone raved about their sandwiches - all had different breads and they were talked about too. i got the french dip $15 and could only manage to put away 1/4 of it. meat was tender & well seasoned, good cheese ratio (i skipped onions & horseradish mayo) and au jus was very good. cant remember the last time a group order or various dishes received rave reviews across the board! side special of carrot fries was hot, fresh, well salted & surprisingly yummy. i dont like carrots - in any form - but i guess i have now found a form i like! side cheese curls was SO chewy-licious seasoned in garlic butter! and dont skip the desserts! several of us got the lemon bar $4 which was everything bright and good! i also got a NY style b&w cookie $5 that was a big as my hand. service was fast & friendly and amazingly perfectly accurate - important if you are taking food to go. which might be a good idea at peak times. seating at bar, and a few hightops with 2 hightops for 2 outside. also a picnic table outside. we all have other dishes we are anxious to go back and try. and in a town where a lot of places roll up their shops after lunch, its nice that turcotte's stays open til 9. meats by the pound available as well.

" - Farmhouse This chicken salad is absolutely divine. It has simple elements and no unnecessary additives. The only thing that can be tasted in this chicken salad is a bit of mayo, red onion, lemon juice, and jalapeño. It requires no "extra" seasonings. I am not a big fan of mayo, but for those who are, they will find this salad is light on the mayo. I did add EVOO to the mix to spread the chicken salad across sourdough bread. Outside of this chicken salad, I've purchased various cuts of meat and cheese from this shop. Each item I've purchased here seems to be better than the next. #supportlocal

The wrap really hit the spot! Only small complaint was that they panini pressed the wrap which led to some limp lettuce- I didn't know the wraps would be pressed. But this was a small issue and the wrap was satisfying. The husband got a sandwich and said it was good though the bread was cut a little unevenly. The parking lot appeared full but luckily we found parking near the restaurant. As we walked in we saw the hostess stand and waited a few minutes. We were eventually greeted by a nice woman that asked us where we wanted to sit. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. We told her outside and she took us to our seats. The outside is nice and shaded with several places to sit. There is a view of the trees. After being seated we waited for a few minutes then we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She gave us our menus and explained how to use the QR code to see the menu on our phones. She then asked us what we wanted to drink and left to give us time to decide on what we wanted. She returned after a few minutes and took our order. I asked for her opinion on the pizzas and she let me know her thoughts. She did an excellent job throughout the meal. She checked in on us frequently and refilled our waters often. We decided to share the Wood Fired Esquites. It comes with street corn, mozzarella, queso, cilantro and tortilla chips. This was delicious and addicting. The corn was sweet and the other ingredients added flavor. My husband ordered the Corn Beefed Reuben. It comes with brisket, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. I tried it and it was a little too sour for me but my husband loved it. I ordered a Fried Chicken sandwich that came with cheddar cheese, a purple cabbage slaw, and a crema sauce. The sandwich was really good. The chicken was thick, tender and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The crema gave the sandwich a little bit of flavor while the cheddar cheese eventually melted into the cabbage. The combined ingredients gave the sandwich a nice blend of texture and flavor. We also decided to share the Cedar Hacker Pizza which comes with capicola, onions, olives, mozzarella cheese, and provolone cheese. The pizza was really good. The main crust was soft and kind of floppy but the outer portion of the crust was light and airy. I don't usually eat capicola but it was tasty. The onions and olives added flavor and the cheese was gooey. A nice combination of ingredients. My husband wanted to share a dessert to finish off this awesome meal. So we decided to try the Lemon Panna Cotta. It comes with blueberry compote. This dessert was amazing. It was light and milky and the blueberry compote was tasty. Overall it was a great place to try for a lunch during the week. The restaurant exterior had a nice view, the service was really good, and the food was delicious.
