When we were in we were able to speak to the owner and he let us know they are doing their own delivery now at a much better rate than the delivery apps. If you're within five miles it's $1.99! This Buda location is cute, next to an antique shop and some other local shops I didn't check out due to time constraints. Luckily for us, his recommendation was spot on as La Ola is a great little ice cream shop with a large variety of different cures to whatever your sweet tooth desires. Parking is pretty accessible as it's in a small strip of stores and restaurants and there's ample outdoor seating as well to take in a nice summer night. The interior of the store is also nice and clean, making you feel like you're in a well run place from the moment you step in. We ordered a banana pudding scoop in a cone and a scoop of the Cookie Monster in a cup. The line here moves pretty quickly which is good so we didn't have to wait long from the moment we entered to the moment we began eating outside. The ice cream was delicious. The banana pudding tastes just as advertised with chunks of Nilla wafer throughout the bites, incredibly spot on. The Cookie Monster also tasted great, essentially a cookies and cream scoop dyed blue, but why not have a bit of fun with it? The whole experience was great and if ice cream isn't your thing they have numerous other options like shakes and ice pops to get you by.
