    1/2 burger with fries
    Megan M.

Food is good, I love that they have season salt on the table for your fries! Service is always good, enjoy the friendly/family type atmosphere.

My first time trying this place the burger is pretty solid but my kids chicken tenders were so gross with slimy chicken and breading that was falling off. I could not let them eat that. Just wanted to warn you if trying the chicken tenders here.

The outside of Mighty Fine is very deceiving restaurant as for the longest time driving all over Austin I've seen the buildings but had no idea what there were. However, after seeing one go up in Kyle I got off my lazy keester and looked it up. A burger joint with no drive-thru indicates it's at least a step above fast food so I decided to give it a shot, and boy I'm glad I did! Located right off of I-35 in a very safe and quickly developing strip along frontage road with not-so-great access, Mighty Fine is a great alternative and direct competition of a place called "more than 4 men" (you know what I'm getting at....) Ordering online is definitely the way to go to have the food ready when you arrive. Walking in, the facility is brand new so don't worry if it's dirty or not, however it does continue the trend of leaving their cooking supplies for all the customers to see. I don't get this at all and think it's tacky, but not a big deal as I always get grub to go. What I will say are the people are very friendly and the ingredients are extremely fresh as they have adopted the "open air kitchen" that's popular at many upscale restaurants. The service is a little slow but not too alarming. So, with the unimportant details out of the way, lets talk burgers. The fries are interesting as they're miniature crinkle cut fries. I've had them twice and once they're were a little brown as I believe the grease was old or they over cooked them. The first time they were on the money. Also, get an extra side of their ranch sauce as it's like a garlic herb ranch and is very tasty. The onion rings are devastatingly good. Fresh onions breaded and fried to golden perfection. If you like onions like I do, it's a must try, just do it. I'll start with the worst main item I had to eat, the hotdog. Of course, you can customize it, although not to the level of like a "Chicago dog" but a few items. I got grilled onions, mayo, ketchup and cheese on mine, skipping the chili. It was pretty good except the meat was extremely salty. Otherwise, its serviceable. As for the main items the country fried burger was ok. It was basically their rip on country fried steak, a breaded hamburger, deep fried with all the toppings you want. I opted for mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion and ketchup. It wasn't crunchy and it really made me yearn for a country fried steak & mashed spuds with gravy. Alas it was pretty good. As for the burger they're fantastic as again, the ingredients are fresh. The only issue I have are the buns are literally destroyed before I was done eating making it difficult to handle and a sloppy endeavor. DO NOT expect to eat this if you're driving. By far the best item was the salted caramel hand dipped shake. OMG. I got a small and almost killed it before I got home, 3 miles away. It was so good on my second visit I got the large version. If you can spare the calories, try it. Overall Mighty Fine is a good experience and on par with other higher end burger joints. The ingredients are fresh and while not perfect they're definitely satisfying. I've eaten them twice in two weeks and I'll be back.

I've been passing by this joint for some time now and finally decided to give it a try. Impressed that it looks clean on the exterior and walking in it had the same look, and that deserves five stars alone. I shared it was my first time and the young lady was very helpful. I got the Classic 1/2 lb burger and added cheese, and they have this combination onion rings and fries that I added along with a chocolate shake. A mighty fine burger it is and the chocolate shake is good! Stop by and try them out and it's mighty fine!

Went to this place on the road between Austin and San Antonio. I got a 6 count chicken and a small milkshake. Few issues: the menu seems simple enough, but there's a bunch of questions the staff ask as you order that are not made clear on the menu. All the tables are long, expecting you to share a table with others. I like some privacy, sorry. Service was quite slow. Took about 15 minutes to get my chicken. Chicken was ok; shake was good.

Hubby and I wanted to try the new burger spot in the area. We tried to go on a week night, but the line was out the door and there was no parking spots. So I went when they opened for lunch the next day. I ordered online and there was a 30 minute wait. I got out and waited inside because I didn't think it would take that long since it wasn't too packed, but it did. The employees were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I'd advise you to go in and stand in line. I think it's faster. Hubby had 1/2 pound cheeseburger, and onion rings. I had the 1/4 hamburger and shared his wings. We agree with the other reviewers that said the meat wasn't seasoned, but it was pretty good beef. The onion rings were not that great to me. I like it when they fry sweet onions best, these taste like yellow onions. Overall, it was not bad, if we are in the area and want a burger. Next time we will try the shakes and fries.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my "Beast", double 1/2 lb plus double cheese burger was. It has been a long minute since I have eaten at a Mighty Fine, because I thought they were just an okay burger. Don't know if my palate has changed or they upped their game, while others have not. This place is new, neat and clean. We will definitely eat here again.

    1/2 burger with cheese
    HunnyBug S.

Hunny had the 1/2 burger with cheese. They ask you what condiments you want on it, and i went with White (mayo) and Yeller (mustard). The burger itself was A1, all the ingredients dont just feel fresh, they are. On the pictures you can see where they have produce to show how fresh and made to order they are even down to the fries. The burger is also very filling especially if you get an order of fries, which adding on to it was also relatively cheap, $8.99 for a burger of this standard is beyond solid. The only thing i'd recommend is to eat it in the wrapper, i took it out and since its chopped lettuce kinda made a mess. Chili Cheese fries are a little bit greasy but trust me its nowhere near the clone nasty mess you would get at a sonic for example. Still they were awesome and we skipped out on it because we forgot, but if you added some ranch, these fries would be god tier. The shake was also great and the blend was great too, didnt feel like i was drinking just peaches blended, it actually felt like a nice ratio of peach to milk. One thing of note the shake ratio IS different than your average place because the Shake is NOT thick like youd get everywhere else, more than likely the ice cream (if any is used at all) to milk ratio is probably less ice cream more milk, to give it a more "watery" feel when drinking. Not bad still just take that into consideration if you are ordering it. Bug as well had the 1/2 burger i chose to get it with RED (ketchup) WHITE (mayo). the layout of the restraunt was quite interesting walking in you see that their prep area is pretty large and you can see just how neat and tidy they are with their products. (I love it) the seating is interesting as well inside there are 5 long tables and the rest are outside its defentily a place to be with family and friends but also you can see and feel how inviting this place is. Nothing about that burger felt like it needed anything else it was all the right amount. Typically i dont taste onions on my burger in other places , but here i could taste it in every bite . Including most places DRENCH their burgers/sandwiches in whatever condiment you decide to have it but this place knows its ratios.I loved this place and i would like to go again. Some final comments, id like to point out the cleanliness of the restroom is definetely a plus, i know thats a "whatever" but nothing makes me less excited about a place than a horrid restroom. All in all this place is a great place to bring family or hang out with friends on a nice Friday night, you really dont get burgers like this anymore, service is great, and all at a great price. Mighty Fine prides itself on delivering great service and even greater burgers and MAN do they deliver.

Fresh made to order delicious burgers! The 1/2 lb burger was thick! Nicely made! I wish I would have done a plain burger as they were a bit heavy handed on the ketchup. Skip the onion rings - it's a solid 2 out of 5 (even if it's hand battered) it was just not good. The onion and breading ratio was off and didn't have a good consistency. It was not exactly crunchy but not exactly soft. The strawberry milkshake was delicious! I highly recommend it! Perfect amount of sweetness with delicious strawberry bits mixed in! The restaurant was clean and brand new! The dining room was clean and the bathrooms were too. The service is warm and friendly! Deducting a star for the onion rings.

I ate here again for the second time. I have to say that I really enjoyed the quarter pound burger much better and onion rings is definitely the way to go as a side. Mixing the ranch with a little bit of ketchup and then dipping my onion rings into it was so yummy!

The fries we tried to crisp up once we got home from their earthworm consistency.

Don't bother. I was excited to have a Mighty Fine closer to home but what a huge disappointment. Put in an online order and went in to pick it up and my first clue should have been all the folks sitting around waiting on food. The one guy who was hustling did great trying to keep everything flowing. He was an older guy with incredible work ethic unlike most of the rest of the staff being younger and going at one speed(slow). The burger was awesome, one of the best "fast" food burgers in town. The fries...gross glob of undercooked potatoes that we went home to try to revive in a skillet to no avail. We might be back in a few months or not. The atmosphere was one of chaos and confusion. They need a drivethru like Torchy's so this stress filled environment can be avoided by the customer.

They were out of chicken so couldn't make a couple of the sandwiches, one which we wanted to try. Then we asked for another sandwich and they said they don't make that sandwich anymore and we must be looking at an old menu bc they "hadn't had that sandwich in a while". Ok, that happens, but we were looking at the menu on their own website. Oookkk. We asked what other sandwiches were available and they said 2-3 of the other sandwiches on the menu so we went with one of those. The total for 4 sandwiches was 59. That felt high to me but I know prices are up everywhere so I figured, if it's a good sandwich it'll be worth it. We showed up to pick up our order and they had a menu posted with a bunch of other options. I was annoyed now, bc the other options looked better than what I ended up ordering but he didn't mention any of those on the phone. Overall the sandwiches were just ok. Not enough filling for the bread and was dry. We ended up adding sauces at home. Overall I was disappointed and would not go back.

Instead of asking for a new sandwich, I simply went back to the counter and asked if I could have another piece of bread so I could fix it myself. The employee refused. Her exact explanation was that she "only had 4 more rolls." She would not remake the sandwich, would not replace the bread, and would not even let me PAY for an extra piece of bread. When I showed her the sandwich and asked how I was supposed to eat it, she sarcastically told me to "put the bread back on the sub and eat it." The most unbelievable part was the refund. After refusing to replace a piece of bread or remake a clearly defective sandwich, I was offered a refund.
