Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches, the chips were solid as always, and the cookies smelled delicious. Bread was fresh, meat was great, veggies were fresh, and again, the order was done perfectly. I really appreciate that even though they don't have gluten free bread, the unwich is great. I got the Beach Club, and it was great. They were cautious due to my allergy and super nice about it. Overall, I would Defintely go back here again. Sandwiches are nicely priced and easily split between two people. Order was spot on and options were solid!

They were very "neat", like nothing was messy. Tomatoes weren't falling off (and they were nicely sliced and red). Pic is of my Vito. Super yummy!!

I LOVE telling my co-workers "Gotta run to the liquor store for lunch, brb". I love even more the actual lunch, their sandwiches are redick good and I take all of my out of town guests here for the same experience. Let's run to the liquor store for lunch! No one expects the deliciousness they are about to receive. My go-to sammie is the Angry Bird (hold the angry--not a fan of dijon). It is chock full of turkey, melty swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms, greenery and their signature semi sweet pickles. But when feeling "healthy" I also love the Athena which has cukes and spinach and kalamatas and other tasty veggies and you can add turkey or ham if you're a carnivore. All sammies come with a little bag of plain potato chips (perfect for stacking in your sammie) and a really tasty dill pickle slice. I love that I can call and pre order and it is ready by the time I make the 12 minute drive there. I love that it is almost always the same nice lady taking my calls and checking me out. And I LOVE that yes, I do tend to buy wine "for later" during my work day...just feels a little bit naughty.

The pecan pie was over cooked. The Dutch apple pie was ok, but honestly frozen piemaker pies sold at HEB are better with no preservatives. We aren't inspired to return. The soda selection is quite limited (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, a pink lemonade and unknown sodas. The situation wasn't helped by the fact that the machine's ice dispenser was broken on a hot evening. We chose to sit outside to enjoy our meal at one of the super long picnic tables. Each probably sits 12+ patrons comfortably. Great area for kids to run around nearby so as you would assume, lots of young families. It seems to be a great meeting place for families & groups. The biggest downside to our dining experience was the outside trash can. Patrons cleaned up after themselves & the trash can was overflowing. I chose to go inside to throw our trash away and to inform staff of the trash situation. (No need having all that trash near your tables & front door) The staff informed me "we don't touch that. That's the City of Kyle's responsibility. They pick up on Saturday nights." Unfortunate that my visit was 6pm on a Saturday night. I can only imagine how messy the entire area will be by 9pm. I hope that the owners and management can figure out a way to handle this issue since the majority of the trash I saw inside & outside of the trash can was from their patrons.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at this location…read more My sub was served with a completely broken top roll that was falling apart before I even touched it (see photo). Instead of asking for a new sandwich, I simply went back to the counter and asked if I could have another piece of bread so I could fix it myself. The employee refused. Her exact explanation was that she "only had 4 more rolls." She would not remake the sandwich, would not replace the bread, and would not even let me PAY for an extra piece of bread. When I showed her the sandwich and asked how I was supposed to eat it, she sarcastically told me to "put the bread back on the sub and eat it." The most unbelievable part was the refund. After refusing to replace a piece of bread or remake a clearly defective sandwich, I was offered a refund. When I went to the register, I was refunded exactly $1.00 on a $36.00 order and handed a receipt showing the refund amount. At that point it felt less like customer service and more like I was being mocked. The issue wasn't the damaged bread. Mistakes happen. The issue was the complete refusal to fix a very obvious problem, the dismissive attitude, the sarcastic response, and then the insulting $1 refund afterward. I've always thought Firehouse Subs was known for good customer service, but this experience was the exact opposite. Management should review how customer concerns are being handled at this location because this was unacceptable.

Ok, that happens, but we were looking at the menu on their own website. Oookkk. We asked what other sandwiches were available and they said 2-3 of the other sandwiches on the menu so we went with one of those. The total for 4 sandwiches was 59. That felt high to me but I know prices are up everywhere so I figured, if it's a good sandwich it'll be worth it. We showed up to pick up our order and they had a menu posted with a bunch of other options. I was annoyed now, bc the other options looked better than what I ended up ordering but he didn't mention any of those on the phone. Overall the sandwiches were just ok.
