This was suppose to be a baked potato with sour cream , butter / hold the bacon bits ,cheese and onion. It looks like it's been tasted and has a teaspoon of sour cream. Really? Do better.

Cashier was very helpful. Gave me some suggestions for a ham sandwich. Clean restaurant. Very busy. Easy process. Lots to choose from tomato basil soup . Chefs kiss. And the Carmela is delicious!

I was going to get Ike's delivered but went for Jason's deli b/c their fees are cheaper even though they're farther away from me.

A-ok! Ma surprised me with a cup of tortilla soup which was tasty and spicier than I expected (based on my parents' proclivities). It was delightful to open the bag to find 2 packs of crackers, a spoon, and a mint; I know my parents didn't request any of that. They ran a couple errands between lunch and seeing me, but the soup was still warm and well sealed (some containers lend themselves to unfortunate mess). Nice chunks of tomatoes/peppers and corn, didn't notice any decorative tortilla strips but it's not impossible they sank in the wait time. I should have stirred it up before eating as all the chicken hid at the bottom. Broth's on the creamier side of tortilla soups I've had and was altogether very tasty. I peeked at the menu earlier and this cup serving is $6 before tax/tip, More expensive than Subway with better ingredients and friendlier service. They have a reasonably varied deli menu which is balanced with affordability and comfortable predictability. When we dine in at their request, my boomer parents have lots of company. It's at one of my least favorite intersections in town, but there is always ample parking.

Excellent healthy options here. The service was great and lots of clean seating available.

Running around as usual but had time for more the. A drive through. So we stopped to pick up sandwiches. Hubby had the Ruben and I had the beefeater. Both were good with plenty of meat and condiments. I asked for no mayo and there wasn't any. The staff were nice and fast. We will be back.

Serves up good food at descent prices! I always enjoy coming to Jason's Deli because I know I'm going to get good food at low prices. This was no exception. My wife ordered the baked potato and got the potato that ate Cleveland! Butter, cheese, and bacon... it was enough for her and my oldest to share! My youngest got the chicken nuggets and chips... he kept talking about how good they were! I got the muffuletta and a cup of tortilla soup. The soup was just a bit spicy with great flavor and the muffuletta was just a 1/4 of a sandwich but huge and very tasty! The space was big, clean and service was fast! The guy bringing our food was a little less then brilliant (insert tons of sarcasm here) and argued with my wife about if they had put the extra bacon on her potato... it was pretty obvious that if that was extra the normal was none! She ended up getting more. Barring that our food was good and the cost just right!

I have always loved going to Jason's Deli for their all you can eat salad bar. During COVID-19 they make it for you. They did a really great job at building it. There is still inside dining available but it's all spaced apart. I also had a vegetarian pasta dish that's not on their menu that had zucchini, Sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts with a light olive oil sauce & grated Parmesan in top & it was delicious. I have been coming to their San Marcos location & they have NEVER disappointed me.

Don't know where to eat?? Jason's Deli is that choice if you can't make up your mind. The sandwiches they offered are delicious and they all taste almost to exact same no matter which store you are at. Love eating the sandwiches with my Ice Cream Coffee from Teapioca Lounge.

A familiar restaurant while on TDY can be comforts of home. Took a break from a day of meetings to grab some lunch. While traveling, I really hate eating at the fast food places that are continuously clustered along the highways. However, when I came across the Jason's Deli sign, I quickly made the decision to venture in. Since I went in outside of the average lunchtime hours, the place was quiet but still welcoming. The service staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Order: Manager's Special: Half sandwich (Turkey muffuletta), soup (Spicy Seafood Gumbo), Hibiscus tea.

The workers are nice and the restaurant is clean. The food is a little bland, but it's what you would expect for a soup and sandwich shop.

Food and services are always good. A bit pricey for just a sandwich. Glad to get a location nearby.

The food was great. I love their salad bar. I don't understand why they don't have as much business as they used to. The prices aren't bad.

I had an awesome meal here. First, shout out to my server, MJ. She's freaking fantastic. She really…read morewent through the menu with me and checked on me and her other tables, more than she needed to. Now, Tumble is a huge place with lots of seating, outside patio and a bar. It's got a cool modern vibe going and TVs running sports. Fried chicken and burgers are the focus with some interesting menu items. Pies to round off dessert. I really loved my 1/4 chicken korean style (spicy, gochujung). I was a bit worried when the chicken came out quick but it was on point. On the sides front, the broccoli salad was stellar. Finally the key lime pie was solid. I will definitely be back for another bite next time I'm in town.

Over four stars, perfectly good bone-in dark meat chicken with excellent crust and surprisingly…read morestrong sides making it fairly priced occasional choice for me alone or with the spouse. __1/4 DARK__ $12.40 I debuted with the lowest heat to easier gauge the quality. Didn't taste any marinade or a lot of seasoning in the coating (so I can bring my SIL here) but I got beautifully cooked, juicy chicken so I figure this is an excellent starting block for whichever direction you take it. Personally, I'm trying the Korean sandwich next time. __MAC AND CHEESE__ (included side) I can be embarrassingly intense about macaroni and cheese. There are establishments I *love* where I refuse to order M&C again and warn others off it, but Tumble 22 is a go. Thrilled to find cavatappi used and the sauce is pretty good. They avoid the ubiquitous sins of being mush, stodgy, or watery. Better than what I've been offered as an entrée elsewhere and is certainly good enough to pair as a side to good fried chicken. __BROCCOLI SALAD__ (included side) Broccoli salad was best I've had since Cottonseed Cafe closed in Martindale (where they sensibly cheated with a trace of bacon). Little bit of heat in here. Great textures and flavors, ideal moisture level, nice companion to the fried chicken. I was delighted. __KEY LIME PIE WITH WHIP__ $6.50 Super rich, more rich than tart. This modest slice would satisfy most even if it was shared, like the shakes at Five Guys. It's that or save some for later. FYI you can order your pie--slice or whole--without whip if you prefer but it won't affect the price. Mine was packed separately for delivery and they still had taken the time to grate a little zest on top. I love little details like that at fast-ish food places. __DIP/DRESSINGS__ Forgot dressing at home for salads I'd packed and didn't want to eat mostly naked iceberg, so grabbed a 60¢ shot each of ranch and honey mustard. Both of them proved delicious. Ordered via Yelp button which routes through GrubHub. Delivery was correct and earlier than the reasonable ETA. Their website also has a delivery option which worked out cheaper, largely because it didn't include a tip. Might try it in the future when I have cash on hand for the driver. Excited about trying their coleslaw (first time saying THAT in my life) and collards. Looking forward to coming back and eventually trying the cocktails. 19SEP26

I'd wanted pho for days and I waited until the weekend to treat myself. I went in and even though there were some people seated inside, I was able to walk right up to the counter to order. It's a small but very clean place. It's well organized and would be a pleasant place to sit inside for an afternoon meal. The young man at the counter was friendly and patient. I had questions and wanted recommendations since it was my first time there. He answered everything and helped me come to a decision, even engaging in my small banter about another place I'd been that I didn't care for. My food was finished quickly which I appreciated because I was hungry. The young man let me know that usually they only provide chili oil with the pho if you ask but he provided some since it was my first time and I didn't know to ask. He said he gave me the least spicy since he wasn't sure how I was with spice. I said I LOVE...i'm basically a fire eater and he went into the kitchen to get me their hottest (level 5). I was much appreciative. Side note: I also appreciate that they don't ask for 18% minimum tip like at more and more places I'm seeing. Anyway, getting home, I unpacked my food (steak and meatball pho and egg rolls). Everything was still piping hot. I got a large soup and it was very generous. But again, I was grateful because it was so delicious. It was flavorful, herby and packed with all the additions you want in your pho. Both chili sauces were good. They both had good flavor but I'm so glad he was kind enough to get me the level 5. Eating the soup normally for most of the meal, dipping ingredients into the chili sauce or adding it to my spoon for spice here and there. Then towards the end of the bowl adding the chili sauce to the broth for a flavor changeup after most of the other ingredients had been consumed was a great end to the meal! That sauce is perfect! The egg rolls were a bit more perplexing for me. At first I wasn't sure what was inside them. There wasn't much if any veggies inside. There was, for lack of better words, a mush or paste inside. I couldn't figure out what it was but looking at the receipt it was shrimp and pork. I think they make them into a paste and add them. They didn't taste bad by any means. They were rather large, crispy and moist inside. But for me the texture was a bit of a turn off, and I would have liked a bit more veg inside. But it wasn't enough to keep me from finishing them! The crispy outside was very addictive. I can't wait to go back because there was so much I wanted to try. I'm very excited about the drinks and desserts I saw; and they have vietnamese seafood boils which I LOVE. Thinking about it now makes me want to make a run!
