A Veteran's Take After Two Visits My first stop at Tumble 22 was on a whim--a "let's just see what this place is about" kind of moment while visiting family. The second visit? That wasn't luck. That was intention. This place earned a deliberate return. Tumble 22 nails it: crispy, juicy hot chicken with real flavor, fast and friendly service, and a laid-back Texas vibe. Portions are solid, prices make sense, and everything tasted just as good the second time around. And do yourself a favor--get the warm pecan pie with whipped cream (and one to-go!). It's the kind of dessert that sneaks up on you and steals the whole meal. If you're in town and want bold flavor and a sweet finish worth writing home about, put this place on your list.

Exceptional service!!!! We started with the deviled eggs, and they were phenomenal. I ordered the two piece mo hot, next time I'll take just the hot. I loved it, the broccoli salad was great with pumpkin seeds and parmesan. The Mac and cheese was actually the best Mac and cheese I've ever tasted. My husband ordered, chicken sandwich and beans, he loved it. And then we ordered a and shared a salt and caramel 'boozy' shake and the chocolate cream pie. I love the ambiance. Everything was very cool. The wall Deco, the bar was awesome. The booth tables were cool.

Service was great and food was good! The burger and the chicken were juicy. Definitely adding to the rotation. Not pictured are the deviled eggs and the pie - they didn't have a chance. Deviled eggs here are very similar to chef arts at Disney springs iykyk.

Sat at the bar. Open less than a week. Great service and food!!

Their Korean Chicken sandwich is amazing (and surprisingly not spicy at all, I got the Habanero).

Food, service were on par for the price of the sandwich. It was tasty and I'd come back in a heartbeat when I'm around this establishment.

I grew up eating McAlister's and have ordered the same Grilled Chicken Club since the early 2000s…read more It's a basic sandwich, but I seriously can't get enough of it! I could easily replicate the sandwich to save me some money (and a 25 min drive on a good day), but it's the nostalgia and tastiness that keeps me coming back. What it is: The Grilled Chicken Club is a simple, yet refreshing layered sandwich made with slices of wheat bread spread with dijon honey mustard and mayo, then stacked with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and sliced grilled chicken. I can literally recite the exact ingredients from memory. The cookies are delicious, the sweet tea is spot on, and the soups are always solid. A cashier recently recommended me the lasagna soup from my regular chicken tortilla soup, and now I can't stop making my own version at home. If this McAlister's ever closes, I will be devastated!!! Unfortunately, this location does not serve mashed potatoes as a side, which is a bummer!!

I am neither greeted by the cashier on her phone, nor given any sign that orders are kept elsewhere. After almost 10 minutes, I see someone else go to the counter and ask where their order is. When i walk ip to do the same, we are told that they have a problem with theft so they keep everything behind the counter now. A practical solution a suppose. But a sign slob the aforementioned area, or maybe greeting the waiting customer, would be good additions.

Definitely avoids the crowds. We arrived and the place was maybe 1/3 full. They had a steady stream and even more take outs/food deliveries, so I knew the place was good. We just found a quite dark corner and tucked in. Started off with the A1. Shrimp & Pork fried egg roll. It was a perfect Vietnamese egg roll. You can definitely tell the national differences across the different countries and I think Vietnamese style are my favorite. Very tasty and I love the texture. We had a Blue Moon that is only second to Tsing Tao beer at an Asian restaurant. For the main course I went with the B5. Shrimp Stir Fry Noodle (Vermicelli) Bowl. It tasted very good! Glad I went with it. Next time I'll try a pork or beef. For some reason the tails are attached to the shrimp. I get it likely is much more flavorful and easier, but it is always awkward to dissect them when you are eating. I'm pretty nimble with chop sticks but I'm not a pro, so I just eat them with my hands with the tails on. But they tasted great! And the bowl was HUGE. I need to eat thru more of the menu and we will definitely be stopping by again to troll thru it.

" - Farmhouse This chicken salad is absolutely divine. It has simple elements and no unnecessary additives. The only thing that can be tasted in this chicken salad is a bit of mayo, red onion, lemon juice, and jalapeño. It requires no "extra" seasonings. I am not a big fan of mayo, but for those who are, they will find this salad is light on the mayo. I did add EVOO to the mix to spread the chicken salad across sourdough bread. Outside of this chicken salad, I've purchased various cuts of meat and cheese from this shop. Each item I've purchased here seems to be better than the next. #supportlocal
