The bacon was undercooked, the bread was soggy, and the sandwich was literally falling apart after only a three-minute drive home. That's not just disappointing, it's careless. It makes me wonder how many times the manager has to clean up after his employees' mistakes -- especially when we're talking about something as simple as a BLT. Cooking bacon and putting it between bread shouldn't be this difficult. For the price, I expected something edible -- instead, I got a mess. I decided to try the philly cheesesteak again. That shit slapped! The new employees made all the difference in the world. There's new faces here, and it is run very well. The bread is fresh, the cheesesteak meat(ribeye) no longer tasted freezer burned. It finally tastes like it's supposed to, fresh with cheese melted and fresh grilled onions and peppers. The toppings were fresh but I couldn't get passed the hard bread. Had to take it off and eat it without bread. Same with Hubby's sandwich as well. Staff was very nice and got the order correct. I often wonder if I should make reviews on the more generic of destinations as they're streamlined to be the same experience regardless of location. That said, the devil is in the details, so to say. That begs the following inquiry, what don't I already know about Jersey Mikes? Allow me to be a mini tour guide and note out the differences to anyone so they're properly informed. Walking in, the place is always clean as this is my favorite chain sub shop I frequent the restaurant. The floors are well swept, spotless walls and everything is in it's place. The tables are clean, the staff friendly, and one almost feels at ease ordering one of the finer subs you can get, however equating them to larger sub shops is almost criminal. I admit, I'm a cold sub fiend and you can keep the hot subs (sorry Philly). I've literally had everyone of their subs but I hold true to the original Italian. Every time I get mine, it's literally a salad on bread. A little bit of onion, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, a couple pickles, 2 japs, S&P, Oregano, lots of mayo, lots of oil, a bit of vinegar but I wish they had olives..... Their bread is never stale, the veggies are fresh and not brown or unripen tomatoes. Jersey Mikes is fast with my sub and accurate. The subline is clean and the side items are easy to identify. I really like the fact they have cream soda as occasionally I like to take in excess sugar. I've been here a lot and always have a great experience. My only gripes are with corporate ie not having olives and wishing they would use Boars Head meats and cheeses. However that's a larger topic and one this establishment can do nothing about. So if you want a great sub that's fast, in a clean environment and hits the spot come on in, they'll hook you up! read more

The cheese that just melts in your mouth, the fresh meat that's not frozen, and the everyday cooked warm bread. Don't forget a yummy cookie for desert. Wow. There is a reason why it been almost 6 years since I have been back to this place. I go in to place my order. One person is working the register and also is touching food without gloves. There is another who is cutting the meat and I see another in the back doing who knows what. The line is nightmare. The guy taking orders can not hear over the appliances. I tell him I want a kids ham and cheese. He proceeds to make it turkey. He goes, "Turkey right?" after he slices it, I say, "No ham, but that is ok. I will take turkey." He proceeds to recut the meat. The person working the register is also making sandwiches. I am sorry; but, I thought working the register and touching food was a no no. It is either one or the other. The counter they are making the sandwiches is filthily. They keep wiping the excess lettuce and onions in a bin, but do not wipe the counter top down. We get to the register. The person working the register who is also making sandwiches asks, "What did you have?" Well gee, if you made the sandwich right in front of me, would you not know what you made? I had gotten a drink with the kids meal. The girl hands me two cups. I had to remind her that she was missing the cookie that came with the kids meal. When we sat down at a table and all tables had not been wiped down. The trash was overflowing and there were no tops for their cups. The person who kept disappearing to the back should have come out and bused a few tables and taken trash out. I am not sure what is going on with this place. The service is still horrible. 5 strikes, which is the reason for this 1 star rating: Strike #1- I placed a mobile order on my phone, and learned that my meatball sandwich was not available once I arrived in store for pickup. I then asked how the order was able to be placed successfully if they were out of my choice of sandwich? The coworker replied "well I'm sorry but we can't update the system while we're busy working". Okay, why is there even a mobile order option available then? Coworker also adds: "And we tried to call you" Strike #2: The coworker did NOT try to call me. I had no missed calls on my phone, and I even double checked the number I have on file in case I made a mistake. I did not. Strike #3: I had ordered chips and a drink, and with COVID-19 in place, the chips are behind the counter for the workers to provide us with. As I was walking away with my bag, I noticed there were no chips. So I walked back to the counter to ask the coworker for my chips that I had ordered, and he gave them to me. I felt like the coworker purposely did not put my chips in my bag, as they can see clearly printed on the receipt what I had ordered. Strike #4: Then when I turned behind me to grab my drink from the refrigerator, the drink I had selected on the mobile app was out of stock... I understand that items run out, but again, I did not receive a phone call. Strike #5: I get all the way home just to find that the sandwich they replaced my original order with, was on the wrong bread. I had specified my bread of choice VERBALLY, in person to the coworker. Poor customer service all the way around. I have had zero problems with this store up until tonight. In fact, the manager is super awesome! Not a big deal, but we waited on the food then got home and realized that the sandwich had everything on it. We ordered just meat and cheese on a Philly cheese steak and got everything on it. Let me just make this clear before I get going - Jersey Mike's has great food. Today was my first visit to this location. My first impression: the line is long, but there's a lot of people working. They are so unorganized. They don't listen. You have to tell them what you want numerous times. They have so much bread cut up, they're making online orders- at the same time as they're making the lines food. They don't know what is what. There's one guy standing near the register with one glove on, that was never changed while he's handling food and moments later handling money. While he waits for the next person he's standing there fiddling with his hands, instead of doing something productive. When it was my turn to pay, he says would you like chips and a drink? I said yes. When I go to pay, the last thing that was rung up on the screen was a large drink coming at almost $4. I didn't ask for a large. When I inquired about if there was a different size or not, he sighed and reluctantly said yes. I switched it. When I went to get ice for my drink there was none. I informed the same guy, that there was no ice. He said he knew and someone was going to the store. Don't you think you should tell people before purchasing a drink, hey by the way- were out of ice. Is that okay with you? Also, If your ice maker is broken, you guys need to get it together and buy enough ice to keep in the freezer for that day or shift. And even better, when they finally came with ice as we were leaving. The guy only brought two small bags. Makes zero sense. Waste of time. My friend asked for a regular and a mini, the guy cutting bread cut 3 regular loafs. So when she only wanted two subs, she ended up paying for 3 and never got the mini she requested. The guy in the middle was the only one that knew what was goin on in there. Everyone else was doin a lot of standing around and breathing his air. We left. I shortly later realized I forgot my wallet there at the table. I called 9 times from the moment I realized it was missing, until I got there. Nobody ever answered the phone. For the amount of nothingness they were doing when I was there, nobody can answer the phone? When I walked in, I called again and you just hear the phone ringing and ringing. Nobody even flinched. Thank God my Wallet was still at the table when I got back. My table still hadn't been wiped from when my friends and I were eating. Easily my worst experience at Jersey Mike's to date. It was my first time to any Jersey mikes. I walked in, everything looked really nice and neat. I was greeted by the people who were working. I let the "day manager named Ev" know that it was my first time, she didn't hesitate to let me know some of there most popular subs and kindly told me all the meats and cheeses they had available. I ended up choosing a regular Italian sub and the same worker also informed me about what "Mikes Way" is. The sandwich looked too good to eat !!! At the end of it she even signed me up for a rewards program that's gets me free subs !! All in all the customer service from that worker AND the sub was fantastic. I have never had an issue with this location. Which I frequent often. The employees are always friendly and helpful. All other locations I've been to tend to be very crowded. Of course the other locations are in a higher populated area, so expect a small wait at times. Especially around the lunch hour. Now to what we've all been waiting for ... the food! This has to be one of the tastiest sub places I've ever encountered. The freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses takes the cake. When I was eating bread this bread was absolutely the most delicious thing I've tasted in my whole life. The bread is light and fluffy just the way I love it! I am not eating carbs anymore, but if I decide to splurge I'm going straight to JM for a small bread loaf. I order the California sub tub when I go. It is wonderful. I love the JM locations that roll the deli meat with the cheese in the tub. Not all of the employees do it. So thank you to the ones who do. It just makes the salad so much more enjoyable to me. (You can turn any one of their subs into a tub - which is just a sandwich salad without the bread) Now let's get to the best item EVER! Their chocolate chip cookies. They are the bees knees! I walked into Jersey Mike's today and was appalled when I saw a line from the register all the way to the door. I thought to myself oh jeez guess Ill be here for awhile! But to my surprise the two gentlemen(didn't get their names) working behind the counter were able to handle this lunch time rush with ease and had everyone's meals prepared in no time. I ordered the #13 on white bread, 5 cuts of premium meat sliced right in front of your eyes. I HIGHLY recommend this succulent sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I've been here a couple of times. I've gotten the philly cheese steak and the pastrami reuben. Both sandwiches were just ok. Nothing wowzer, but, they are better than subway. Pretty much anything is better than subway. The cheese steak here was just ok. I was disappointed that it didn't have cherry peppers and they didn't put ketchup on it. I asked for ketchup and they just looked at me like I had lost my freaking mind or something. Both times was just an ok and nothing makes me wanna go back to venture further on the limited menu. What I mean by limited is that for the hot subs (cause that's all I'm after) you get variations of a cheese steak (that's the dominant sandwich) a pastrami reuben ( not that good), meatball, and bbq beef and chicken parm.
