They've somehow mastered what so many bakeries miss: a light, fluffy cake paired with icing that isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Everything is perfectly balanced and incredibly moist. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten cupcakes elsewhere and ended up scraping half the icing off just to enjoy the cake--but I've never had to do that here. That alone keeps me coming back. After reaching out to several bakeries, Sweet Treets said "we can do it". I met with Christina at Sweet Treets and gave her a photo of the guitar. When the cake was delivered to the venue, the manager called me and said the cake was unbelievable and she has seen many cakes, but this one was the best ever. When we arrived, the cake was identical to the guitar. Even the "strings" of the guitar were perfect. Many of the guests thought it was real. The cake, the filling and the presentation were perfect. I would highly recommend this bakery, especially if you are looking for a personalize and spectacular cake. The artwork created for each cake is sophisticated and detailed. This bakery has it all. Luckily for us, his recommendation was spot on as La Ola is a great little ice cream shop with a large variety of different cures to whatever your sweet tooth desires. Parking is pretty accessible as it's in a small strip of stores and restaurants and there's ample outdoor seating as well to take in a nice summer night. The interior of the store is also nice and clean, making you feel like you're in a well run place from the moment you step in. We ordered a banana pudding scoop in a cone and a scoop of the Cookie Monster in a cup. The line here moves pretty quickly which is good so we didn't have to wait long from the moment we entered to the moment we began eating outside. The ice cream was delicious. The banana pudding tastes just as advertised with chunks of Nilla wafer throughout the bites, incredibly spot on. The Cookie Monster also tasted great, essentially a cookies and cream scoop dyed blue, but why not have a bit of fun with it? The whole experience was great and if ice cream isn't your thing they have numerous other options like shakes and ice pops to get you by. The only ding we can think of is that the trash outside was overrunning and looked like it hadn't been changed in hours.
