Everything from the immaculate space to the amazing customer service and baked goods are right about Abuelita's. Their tres leches cupcakes tasted freshly baked and were moist and delicious. The Buñuelo Chips were perfectly crispy with so much cinnamon goodness. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Great addition to Buda! Enjoyed their bacon and egg taco. Bacon was thick and egg was not scrambled hard so it made a difference. Tortillas are home made and good. The oan dulce was pretty good too. Super impressed with their mini marranitos and concha sugar cookies When we went, they had recently opened so some of the kinks were still being worked out and there was a wait tacos as there was quite a number of people and the line to order was never shorter than 5 deep. The staff was super nice and apologetic for the delays while the food was being made. Look forward to returning to this second location for more sweets and tacos. Pro tip: there's also a small section of Mexi-thangs you can also buy (key chains, coasters, stickers, etc.).

Lovely staff and such a fun spot to grab a coffee and a bite! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with a comfortable setup that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your time. Definitely a great place to unwind or catch up with a friend.

I was lucky enough to get there when the conchas were still warm and they were seriously the best conchas I've ever had.

Get there early, though 'cause I think they're usually sold out by around noon. I also tried a kolache here for the first time and loved it, but be prepared for DOUGHY if that's your jam. Pun possibly intended. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that, but the bakery is inside Meridian, which is worth a visit on its own. They have a tincture wall, and the bar next door actually uses some of them in mocktails. I've had one and really enjoyed it. Meridian also has a really nice selection of quality gifts. I've got my eye on the pillows in the back, and after my last visit I'm also tempted by one of the comfy-looking dresses. There's plenty of seating next door too, where I try to make it regularly for the free Tuesday comedy night. Five stars for that cheese danish alone. Just don't sleep in.

Today I ordered the cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich with bacon and wow, this place is incredible! I ordered delivery and it was at my house ten minutes before I had expected it which was really great and quick. The breakfast sandwich was on a delectable croissant with perfectly cooked eggs, cheese and tasty bacon. The cinnamon roll was so soft, dripping with the most luscious topping. I was going to have one, I ended up having both right away!! Super yummy.

They were not soft like I hoped. The conchas did not taste fresh and it was early in the morning. In the past, the conchas have not had enough sugar. I continue to go because I love the flavor. We came midday (around 2) and there was still a decent amount of pastries left. They were a little on the pricey side from the last time I visited...and TeaNergy that was across the highway now shares a business space with them, but ran by one person behind the counter for both. It's very strange. While abuelita's items were mostly priced (I had to ask about the multi pack I wanted since it was not labeled and didn't have signage) - TeaNergy on the other hand, ZERO pricing and no info on how much caffeine was in each size. I went on the TeaNergy website using the provided QR code and there's no info on caffeine amounts, which seems a little dangerous. While I don't so much favor the TeaNergy lack of info, Abuelita's pastries are what made me stop here. If I'm in Kyle again, I'd for sure make a stop here for the pastries, maybe not the tea tho.

She misread the order and refused to take accountability for her mistake. She also misspelled a word on the cake and my son's name and then stood by the misspelling, telling me they check the order very carefully. Upon viewing the communication she finally admitted it was wrong but did not fix it on all sides.. Do not hire these people. They had audacity to be upset with me for their lack of attention to detail. I was told to take the cake or leave it.... Hours before the party. Careless and unprofessional. Update: Note every single review of this business and "miscommunication" that is the owner's negligence. I reached out for a quote for a 2 tier cake and Sylvia gave me a 8" round at pick up, hours before the party. The cake was poorly crafted and fell apart while serving. Crumbled. The "yelling" was direct communication when the employee insisted on arguing arrogantly that the word "professor" is spelled proffessor (written multiple times incorrectly.) Upon inspection, although the employee fixed most of the Veritas name errors, the one at the front of the cake was STILL wrong. I have the text of the exchange to back up my review. Read her reviews. Poorly run business by an amateur baker.
