Super delicious treats. I am gluten free and dairy free so getting to have dessert let alone delicious desserts are few and far between.

Pedernales Farmers Market

I am completely in love with this farmer's market. It's at the end of the road on dirt, so it has…read moremuch more of a local feel than the city's farmers markets. It's got lots of picnic tables for sitting and eating. There is a perfect balance of produce, ready made food, and handmade items. Notable Vendors: -The Thai Street Food stall is amazing. -There is a lady that comes and brings her adorable knitted stuffed animals! -A vendor selling dumplings we definitely want to try next time! -A stand making fresh lemonade that my BF said was the best lemonade he has ever had. My haul included: -Handmade fruit and nut Bars (Oovey's) -Homemade Greek Dips (Hummus, Tzatziki, Babaganoush) -Pad Thai and Thai Beef from the Thai Street food Vendor All the vendors are so friendly and wonderful and you can tell they are so passionate about the items they make :) On Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.

We absolutely looooveee the Pedernales Farmer's Market! You can get a wide variety of fresh fruits…read moreand vegetables, milks, eggs, seafood, meat, cheese, and so much more! Every time we head up to the lake house in LBJ we make a point to come here on Sunday. We load a cooler to take back home with us! Our main stops are: 1. Capital City Ceviche - they make Hawaiian poke just like back home in Hawaii. Since moving to Texas, that was something we haven't been able to find that is good. But here.....OMG the best! 2. JW Seafood - specifically when in season, the fresh oysters are amazing! 3. Prairie's Prairies- they have quality French pastries and baked goods. We love their scones, croissants, and their puffs....oh yum! 4. Goodie Dumplings- They make them fresh on site or have frozen to take home. They have everything from veggie, chicken, beef, pork, and seafood! This are so good. It is usually a snack while we walk around and then we take some to go to add to our ramen at home. They add a lot of vendors throughout the year which is fun! They have craft items as well which we have even bought a few items from those booths as well. Next time you're in Spicewood on a Sunday, be sure to stop in! :)

He's super nice but the food was trash... and I really hate to say that since he was so nice…read more I literally watched him squirt some water on the griddle, then but the brisket and "warm it up"... it was super tuff to the point I couldn't even eat it. It also tasted and looked as if he boiled it. Either way it was cook, it wasn't cooked long enough. Definitely not smoked.. I seen him a few years ago around the corner at a better looking set up but I was picking up for door dash then. There was a few people that were waiting on food then and now when you drive by there's never anyone there. Even though it should have been rush hour for dinner.. so I understand why the brisket wasn't cooked fresh or right. He not open late anymore either. Oh I can't forget the potatoes salad and the beans... the Ben's had tomato's in them? They weren't made by him. Bushes beans are better.. the potato salad was the only semi edible thing we got.. we literally threw everything away and didn't even feed it to the dog. Wish I took pictures before throwing it away but it got thrown away just as fast as I got the food... I hope whatever he's going through, he gets out of it. Because people that spend their hard working money should at the very least editable food.

Brisket was FANTASTIC…read more Green beans nice and spicy. My potato salad was still partially frozen/icy when I got it home so didn't really eat it...was probably good though Not what J would consider a generous portion for almost $20 (like $17 and change) So bc brisket was SO good but I felt price point was a little high and my frozen potatoes and thus I can't go any higher than a 4 ALSO-if you are a sauce fan this place is not for you. They don't "do sauce". Not that it needs it, but just in case you were expecting it...

My first visit to T-Loc's Sonora Hot Dogs and wow, what a way to be introduced to this spot!…read more I met up with a fellow Yelper friend and we got there not long after opening, which turned out to be a very smart move. While we were waiting for our food, it suddenly became a whole scene, it was National Hot Dog Day, and the line just kept growing and growing. People were fully committed too, hot dog shirts, hot dog hats, I'm pretty sure I saw a walking hot dog at one point. Add in folks bringing their own ice chests of beer and it felt like a little hot dog party. We decided to go big and ordered every kind of dog they make so we could share and try them all. A super sweet lady brought our order out to us, which I loved. No waiting around trying to hear someone shout out your name. And let me tell you, every single one was damn good. You really can't go wrong here. My favorite ended up being the classic chili cheese dog, because apparently I like to keep it old school, ha. But seriously, Mr. T-Loc knows exactly what he's doing with his chili recipe! I also tried an agua fresca for the first time and now I get the hype. So refreshing and good. Next time, I've got my eye on one of those big burritos because they looked crazy good, no joke. Accessibility wise, they do have accessible parking, which is a huge plus. The seating is a mix of circular and standard picnic tables, some with shade, but not the most wheelchair-friendly setup. They do have a ramp up to the covered area and I made it work by parking at an angle at the end of a table, nothing was getting between me and those dogs. Bottom line, this is a must try spot if you're craving great food and don't skip on the fresh made agua fresca!

Went here for my lunch break since I saw it on tiktok. I…read morehaven't had a bacon wrapped hot dog before so I knew I had to get one. It was BOMBBBB! I'm not a big fan of beans so I will skip them next time. The hotdog had such a great flavor. The ranch fries were also really good because it had soooooo much cheese. I'm a cheese girl so it was eaten first. I had my food handed I think by the owner and he was also super nice and happy that I tried it! Shout out T-LOC'S!!!!

Food trucks parks are a distinctly Austin-ite art form, and this one is pretty good. I was invited…read morehere for a Yelp function and got to sample a number of delicacies on offer from the resident trucks. Of special note is the very good blueberry lemonade from Conscious Cravings, as well as a to-die-for selection of goat cheese from the Chivata Goat Cheese Truck. (Seriously, go check out their trailer and pick up one of their sandwiches, your tummy will thank you.) Pros: Outdoor and *indoor* seating - useful when it rains or bakes in Austin, which it can. Reasonable selection of food trucks, you'll find something to try. Bathroom facilities are fine and not port-a-potties. Cons: Some of the trucks hold odd hours on the weekend. Parking is at a premium, with about a dozen spots and 2 handicapped spots. You can find parking on the side streets but be careful crossing 1st Street as the traffic zooms by at light speed! All in all, this location is well worth a visit!
