Now onto the review~ The bowls are absolutely delicious! There are sooooo many bases to choose from, it's almost too difficult to make a decision. We had the CoCo Power bowl with a coconut base, and a Nutaya bowl, but subbed the Nutella for almond butter. I also had 2 different bases, coconut, and banana. Both of which were delicious! All of their bases are gluten & dairy free so a huge plus for someone with food allergies. You can also request the gluten-free granola. The ingredients are super fresh and your bowl is made to order. They definitely encourage substitutions. The girls are extremely knowledgeable about each bowl and are happy to give suggestions. We met the manager and she was awesome as well. I have a couple of observations~ Since the bowls are really BIG, it would be great to have two different sizes. Also, the condiments, like cocoa nibs, almond butter, coconut flakes (etc) are pretty sparse. (Fruit was plentiful) It would be nice to have a bit more of those included. I found myself with a lot of base and not a lot of the other goodies. Other than that, this place ROCKED!! I'm looking forward to going back to Orlando and trying our Playa Bowls shop.

The menu has man options and I was able to get help quickly. I ordered the tropical cloud bowl. I don't think this bowl is apart of the main menu, it seems to be more seasonal. There was plenty of mango on my bowl, I just wish ther was more of the coco whip on top. The bowl had mango, pineapple, and banana. The fruit wasn't as juicy as I hoped it would be. They have full meal plans with different options, which I thought was real cute and convenient for people trying to stay on track. The place itself was very clean (as it should be with that name), and the staff was nice and welcoming. I ordered a berry smoothie, and texture-wise it was super smooth, no complaints there. Now the taste... it was a little different than what I expected. Not nasty at all let me be clear but definitely different. I'm guessing that's that clean eating/healthy life taste kicking in... maybe the whey protein? I don't know, my taste buds are still adjusting But hey, if this is what it takes to get fine... When I said I didn't want the drink anymore, I was pressured into paying for it anyway, even after the upcharge was removed. She even mumbled about having 14 years of experience, but that doesn't excuse trying to "shark" customers into paying hidden fees. This felt manipulative and unprofessional. Customers should never feel hustled or guilted into paying for something they no longer want, especially when there was no clear communication about extra charges. I won't be returning after this experience.

The ingredients are fresher and healthier, and the drinks layer in more interesting flavors than the drinks we get at the corporate competition. The service we received was efficient and barebones. We ordered our drinks and got them a few minutes later. The drawback to this place is the location in a membership gym. I don't think a membership is needed to grab a drink, but it did feel a little weird to be in there in street clothes next to people doing lat pull downs and pumping iron. Also, the hours might not be as expansive as other smoothie shops but this place is worth doing a little planning for.

The owner let me know the drinks I was asking about were actually sugar free, that they were sweetened with like monk fruit and stevia I think she said. Anyways, I walked in there was one person ahead of me but they were just finishing up. I loved how clean and fresh the place felt. I stood there admiring the minimalist sort of boho decor until it was my turn. I ordered 3 drinks on the owners recommendations for what I was looking for and she whipped them up in minutes. She was super sweet! I love that it's family owned and operated. The peach drink I got is super refreshing, I can taste the "sweetener" but feel like it's much better than other sugar free options I've tried. I can for sure see myself getting addicted to these. I also had the salted caramel protein drink and it was super yummy, not gritty, it was smooth and super filling. They are currently only at farmer's markets (not sure what others they appear at) and they confirmed that they currently don't have a brick and mortar location (but are searching). TIP: Order your dumplings when you first get to the farmer's market because ours took at least 15 minutes to prepare! Or at least ask for a time estimate when you first arrive (might vary based on your order). This way you can shop while they cook your dumplings! TIP2: They will let you do a half and half order, as long as they're the same price (we did half and half chicken and pork) so we could try both. Solid dumplings! Great fillings -- in terms of both flavor and texture. They also fry the dumplings on one side so you get a nice variety of dough texture. Tried shrimp (fat/juicy pieces of shrimp inside) as well as chicken and pork. I think shrimp was my favorite, followed by pork.
