When I arrived at the shop to pick up my sandwich, I was greeted when I entered with an employee welcoming me and making good eye contact with a smile. My order was on the pick up rack, but they helped me locate among all of the multiple orders that were waiting to be picked up. Great customer service, with a smile. The sandwich was made to order and was simply delicious. I ate the sandwich in my car, so I really can't say much about the ambience of this location other than it was jampacked and everyone seemed to be happy. Jersey Mikes in Round Rock (635 University Blvd) simply cannot follow special instructions. Perhaps they will read one if you're lucky but no more. Over half the time,they get it wrong. Their manager called me after my last complaint about not cutting it in half and said come get a free sub. Well, I couldnt go in so I ordered my regular again. They did not cut it in half but omitted lite hot cherry peppers (NONE!) and extra banana peppers (NONE!) Absolutely love this store. The employees are always so friendly and welcoming and talkative. Really enjoy our experience every time we go to this Mike's. It's always super clean and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sandwiches. My husband and I each love these subs. I especially like the spices and juice since I'm from the east coast. while waiting for my sandwich , i witnessed an employee filling containers of mayonaise, procede to drop the lid from the large mayo container onto the floor, and then procede to pick up off floor and place lid back on container without any effort to clean it . i mentioned to employe that lid was on the floor and may be unsanitary, and he replied it fell upside down so it was ok. i guess they have a five second rule at that location. read more

Having been Jersey Mike's customers for twelve-thirteen years, we were disappointed to find the new University Boulevard/Round Rock location closest to us is not up to par. When they first opened, we ordered online and found that after spending almost $36 for two giant sandwiches, the ingredients were rather skimpy. We chalked it off to them being new, so last night we ordered again only to find the same problem. We don't mind paying extra for good quality sandwiches, but these were just way too skimpy to warrant that kind of money. Today we took the remainder of the two large sandwiches back for credit or replacement. The manager (Tina??), who proudly stated she has been with Jersey Mike's for 10 years, had an attitude and discounted our concerns, saying "we have to watch our food costs." Is that something you really want to say to your customers? Rather than offering to remake the sandwiches, she was condescending and only offered a refund, which we accepted. After leaving, we noticed she only gave us credit for one large sandwich and one regular sandwich, even though we had purchased two large ones. Not only did she NOT know how to deal with disappointed customers, she couldn't even get our refund right! In the future, we'll be going to other locations and passing on this one. read more

I have ordered Jersey Mike's many times, at many different locations (and in different states). I think they are the best sandwich place, with the hand cut meats, the "philly" and chicken hot sandwiches. Only wish they had other sides besides chips...like potato salad or cole slaw. But, I have been to this location twice, and have got this same woman twice. I wish I caught her name. She usually is the one who takes over after the meat is sliced, and not very pleasant. I don't all the stuff on "Mike's Way", so when she asks if I want it that way, I go and tell her "No. I just wanted lettuce, pickles, seasoning, oil and vinegar, and the red chili paste (*best thing on any sandwhich)". She replies back (not so nicely), "So, you want it Mike's Way, No onion and tomato". In my opinion, I don't think so, as I add pickle and the chili paste too, and state that back to her. She just looks at me, and says, "In the future, just say "Mike's Way No onion or Tomato". My turkey sandwich was absolutely disgusting. The guy that sliced my sandwich sliced the meat so thick and it tasted old. The bread was so dry and falling apart before I could even take a bite. I couldn't eat it after 3 bites and left starving. Being a previous Jersey Mikes employee for years and to have eaten Jersey Mikes since I was a kid, I know what the standards are and they were clearly unmet. My family LOVES Jersey Mikes. We were so excited for them to come to our neighborhood. This location is the worst I've ever been to, by far. I ordered online, and went to pick up and got home to our sandwiches being different sizes, different bread, and no lettuce. How can you Mike's Way without lettuce. I called the store... and no answer. I drove back to have the sandwiches fixed, only to find out that they were out of lettuce and out of the bread I asked for. The person in charge did not care that my order was wrong or that I had driven all the way back. I asked for a refund. He was unable to refund my card because I paid with Apple Pay on the app, so he asked me to write my card number and leave it there. I ended up asking for cash instead. I asked for the manager's card and he flat out refused to give me the information. Can't they update the app with ingredients being out of stock? Couldn't they let me know when I picked up the order? Had they answered the phone and saved me the second trip,maybe I would have understood. I really love Jersey Mikes. Went here around 5:25pm on 6/12/23 wanting to try the new #64 Portabello sandwich. The store was not busy this afternoon. It was just 1 customer in front of me. When it finally was my turn, an older tall man behind the counter asked for my order. I began to tell him my order and changed some items on the way the sandwich originally came, when I began to tell this man I wanted to add avocado he gave me a weird face and questioned my ingredient choice in this sandwich. When I asked him again if he would add this ingredient to my sandwich he shrugged his shoulders and said "I guess". This took me off guard as I have ordered different sandwiches at many different places and not once had someone make me feel uneasy about the way I've ordered a sandwich. I simply stopped ordering and told the man nevermind and told the man he was very rude and walked out of the store. Place an online order for one sandwich and was going in to order five more because they were custom and I could not do it online. After 45 minutes I received a phone call telling me they were out of bread and it would take another 45 minutes. This is extremely poor planning and poor management by the staff at Jersey Mike's. How does a sandwich shop not realize they are running low on bread and they need to make more? The girl was very polite on the phone but absolutely clueless about calling people in advance when they recognized no problem. I went inside because when they called I was two minutes away. Once inside I told them I wanted a refund. I also reiterated the point of how sub shop run out of bread? One of the employees told me it's not their fault which may be a bit irate because clearly it is their fault and if they are not smart enough to understand that they should be working somewhere else. I told them their problem should not become my problem as a customer and the point was argued with me as well. This used to be my favorite sandwich shop chain. I waited for months for them to open in Georgetown. Now I'm not sure I will ever go back.
