This spot has great coffee and donuts. I have also tried their kolaches and today I had the ham, egg and cheese croissant. Normally I head over to the big McD but I didn't feel like going across IH35. It was a great breakfast sandwich; I am so glad I made the change. They have various breakfast sandwiches, so give them a try. There was a line, but they had enough staff, that I was in and out in 10 minutes. read more

Let me start off by saying, I am someone who enjoys an exquisite breakfast delicacy, such as the donut. I've tasted I've tried. I've licked. I've sucked many warm, cold hot chili, wet, soggy hard donuts in my life. As an establishment that bears the name of our wonderful city called kyle, I expected kyle donut to have immense quality and attention to detail. Oh how I was wrong. Kyle donuts was not only cold, but it was stale. It had been sitting in their non-heated donut cabinet for what seems like and tasted like years. I firmly do not recommend this establishment. The donuts are below subpar. If I were the city of kyle, I would vanish them from bearing their name because of the lack of quality for donut and the potential disturbance and negative impact on the name kyle. We pass this location going home everyday and thought it was time to give it a try! There was lots of parking and the staff was very friendly. The cinnamon roll was DELICIOUS! I got one of the last ones and could see why it sells out fast! This place is a must! The pig kolache were delicious and flavorful as well. The glazed donut tasted like a regular donut. This will definitely be one of my go to spots in Kyle! Get the cinnamon roll!! read more

First of all, they have my childhood favorite, cake donut with chocolate icing and peanuts! They are so good! Then I got a variety that my family really enjoyed. Finally, we tried kolaches for the first time. We had the sausage and cheese and the ham and cheese. They were so good, sweet and savory. So much better than Shipleys that popped up near them. The croissant sandwiches are delightful. The croissants are flakey and melt in your mouth. The blueberry cake donuts have a crisp outer edge from the fryer and the inside texture is awesome, not "gummy" chewy like Shipleys. In all honesty we had not gone to Kyle Donuts in a long time. During the hard supply years, you could tell they were struggling by cutting back on some products ( ex: not the same size). Because of the hype of a new Shipleys , and the convenience of Shipleys drive thru, we ended up frequented them instead. Then one day I told my husband I really wasn't wanted Shipleys, they just aren't that great. So he went to Kyle donuts, and brought home kolaches, croissant sandwiches, and donuts that made my taste buds incredibly happy!! Absolutely delicious, and better than I recall them being before. So ..... we aren't planning on going back to Shipleys! It's worth walking in. Please keep it up! read more

I come to this shop because my house is a stone's throw away. I was a bit skeptical of their product because I've tried Hays City across the highway but didn't like that their dough was so dense; I love a pillowy, airy donut with just the right amount of a thin sugary glaze. I've visited several times by now because I've truly enjoyed the fresh products they offer on a daily basis. I particularly LOVE their bun kolache with sausage, egg + cheese as opposed to their traditional "roll". The bread is simply soft and heavenly. You can't go wrong with their traditional glazed, basic donut, they are absolutely delicious. Customer service has always been great. I always have my little dude in tow, and who ever ends up helping us at the counter almost always offer him a couple donut holes to keep him calm - he's 2. Over all, I definitely recommend this little shop - they offer the best donuts in town! Even better than the Super Donut on 1626. Come get your fix, y'all! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday morning to grab some kolaches and sweets for my friends and I to enjoy while getting ready for the day. There was no one inside but you could tell most of the products had bene sold already which is a good sign in my opinion. We were lucky enough to grab a few kolaches and they were great! The breading was soft and slightly sweet which was delicious with the sausage. It was easy to get in and out quickly and there was plenty of parking! I can personally vouch for the tastiness of their regular size kolaches and a brilliant cream cheese danish. Oh, and don't forget what's in the cooler! I picked up some chilly chocolate milk to go with this shiny brunch and it definitely hit the spot! I will never get donuts anywhere else. They are such helpful, kind people and their donuts, muffins, kolaches, and pan sausages are great. My favorite is the cream cheese kolache which at first I thought was..weird.. as I don't really like cream cheese but oh my goodness it. is. delicious! Don't judge a pastry by its cover lol. I get it all the time. The pan sausages are also my favorite. Usually when you get something similar at say, Dunkin, the sausage is super salty. The donut holes can be a hit and miss with some of the donut holes may have little to no glaze at all. Being this is the only donut shop at the moment by my apt l continue to go there. I understand and love that it's a family business and all, but if you have sick children with you, put them in your break room or office. Don't let them run around coughing up phlegm onto all the baked goods while customers are paying at the register. This place is my favorite donut place. It might also be my favorite of all time. I really enjoy the Jumbo Jalapeno and Cheese Kolaches. The bread is slightly sweet and taste so good warmed up. The donuts are also really nice. Not overly oily or anything. I like to get the lemon filled, chocolate with peanuts and of course the regular glazed. The Ham and Swiss Jalapeno Crescents are also really great. The people that work there are also nice and kind. Your average donut shop. I was looking for the cake donuts but didn't see any. Decided to get a giant cinnamon roll and a croissant wrapped sausage. I had my first visit to Super Donuts today. I have to say when I first walked in there was so many great choices. From the donuts to the kolaches I have to say the service was not the best at first. The lady at the front counter made me feel rushed. It was 5:30 a.m on a Saturday morning and me and my boyfriend were the only two customers. If you do visit this location don't expect the friendly service. She changed her mood when we checked out but I feel the service could have been more welcoming. The kolaches, crossiants, and donuts were very yummy. The crossiants were by far my favorite. They have egg,cheese and your choice of ham, sausage, or bacon. Yum! read more

Took my kids thru the drive thru on the side of the shop to grab some breakfast one morning. I was horrified at what I saw. The side door into the kitchen was open and my oldest son and I counted 8 cats walking in and out of the kitchen (from the alley) to their hearts desire. The door opened up to the trash and the smell was nauseating. Needless to say we drove straight on thru without donuts and havent been back since. Great every day neighborhood doughnut shop. It doesn't have a hook or anything, but my wife and I go here almost every weekend for our doughnut fix and haven't been disappointed. Everything we've ordered has been nice and fresh. While there are an number of locals in and out the door, we've never had to wait long for our turn.
