From Chicago, recently moved to Kyle, and so I stopped in for dinner. Here are my thoughts: There are a few things you can always count on at CFA, and this one in Kyle is no exception. -First, the service is always friendly, courteous, and attentive. -Second, your food always comes out quickly. It is truly fast food. -Third, your food always comes out hot--including waffle fries and chicken sandwich. -Fourth, the food quality is incredibly consistent from store to store. You know what you're going to get. -Fifth, the restaurant and bathroom are always clean. Here are a couple of things I didn't expect... -They have a "new" (to me) drink called Sunjoy Tea, which has a lemony flavor like an Arnold Palmer. Staff was friendly enough for fast food but subpar for CFA. The interior is clean, but the play place and bathrooms are not. High chairs were not wiped out. During the dinner rush, there was not a feee table in sight. This is to be expected for the popular chain. However, 4 tables had staff. 3 were single employees eating. Understandable that you want to enjoy your break, but maybe double up during peak hours. The fourth table was some sort of staff meeting of giggling management types in button ups. Just done with Chick fil A at this point. This was my bowl this morning before I took any kind of nibble. The bowl had half the eggs it normally does and almost no hash browns. It's a hash brown bowl? I had ordered the meal so some came on the side which I tossed into the bowl but the whole meal was over $9. It used to be about $6.85 which still felt pricey when I can go to McDonalds and use their app and get breakfast for around $5. I don't eat fast food much but I occasionally grab it for breakfast when I'm running errands. This was my first time at this location and WOW they are fast! My food was ready before I could even finish paying. I paid in cash, so there was a separate person on the side that you had to pay. I love how friendly this location was and how everyone greets you with a smile. They gave us a lot of sauces which was very appreciative! Our food was accurate and fries were nice and hot! Chick-Fil-A is located in a safe location off of I-35 with an easy to enter and exit location in front of Target. This facility has average speed to order as they always have a line but the employees are extremely nice. That said I'll be brief as if you've been to Chick-Fil-A, outside of service, the food should be about the same. Of course this Chick-Fil-A is no different from any other in terms of service. If it's busy, employees are out in full force getting your order. It's a fast as could be reasonably expected getting through the lines. I've had nothing but great interactions with all the people there and it puts a smile on my face. Their soft drinks are much like any other chain however the shakes, are better than most. I like the vanilla shake for its simplicity however the cookie and cream shake isn't bad either. My friends say the peach milkshake is great but I'm not a fan of peaches however I trust their judgement. As far fries, you know the deal as the waffle fries, I'm not even sure if any other places serve them. I love the fries as they offer a different texture for your mouth to grab onto so kudos for being unique. As far as sauces the Polynesian sauce and Chick-Fil-A sauce are beasts. Offering great flavors for the large surface area of the fries to grab onto. In case you've been on Mars for some time, the Chick-Fil-A sauce is like a tangy, smoky and sweet mayo taste. The Polynesian sauce is like a duck sauce with a tropical theme. Of course the honey mustard is the best in the business too. My advice is get a few sauces for those fries to enjoy, but get more fries for the sauces. Yes, a never-ending food comatose cycle. The nuggets might not be to everyone's liking as they're not processed and formed nuggets, Chick-Fil-A takes a chunk of chicken, breads it and fries. In other words, a healthier alternative to whatever goes into those other nuggets. Again, some might not like them b/c they're not used to them, but I like them. Also sauces pair well as with the fries. Now to the sandwiches. I like grilled chicken sandwiches but every time I get them at this restaurant, they're a bit dry. Adding things like bacon only worsens it but if you're craving one, add a LOT of sauce to help. As for their signature sandwich it's probably the second best out there, behind the place that has a strong man who eats spinach for their name. While a bit small, the fried chicken sammich has good flavor with the three pickles. They're tasty and satisfying otherwise with addition of mayo. Sorry for being a bit longwinded but this particular restaurant is what one would expect from Chick-Fil-A. Fast and friendly service with food you know and love and the best fries out there. Swing on by if you have a craving and order with confidence, just don't forget the sauces! read more

TLDR: I'm a fan of Chick-Fil-A, and I came away very happy. Stopped in for a bite here on the way from Austin to Bandera. Apparently it's the only CFA for a dozen miles in either direction, so it was pretty packed, right? Well, you'd be half right. As usual the drive-through line wraps its way around the restaurant like a chicken-fried Mobius Strip...but inside, I was just second in line! So...maybe I came on a day when no one wanted to get out of their cars? Ordered breakfast for the first time there. Tried their equivalent of a Sausage Egg McMuffin, a Chicken-Egg-Bagel with hash browns and OJ. Delish all around. They use a superior quality orange juice for starters, one with a little pulp and a less acidic bite. The Chicken Egg bagel was super messy with all the melted cheese but perfectly delish. As for the sausage-egg-biscuit, I think I saw Ronald McDonald sobbing quietly in the corner as my ladyfriend pronounced it 'better than McD's by far'. Service was friendly and prompt, two of CFA's trademarks, the restaurant clean, and the food hot. Did NOT encounter portion problems the way others have. The sausage patty and egg on the sandwiches is easily a third more than at the Golden Arches! In sum, if you see a huge drive-thru line, it's worth parking and wandering inside. This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Charged me $20 ($3 extra) for a chicken sandwich, fries, shake, and mac and cheese. They forgot the mac and cheese.

It's very frustrating when half the time we go to this location, our order gets messed up. First, the lady taking orders in the drive thru watched me pull up to her, turned her back to me and started talking to another employee about personal stuff then finally turned around to take my order, very rudely. Second, when giving us our food, we clearly were inconveniencing the lady enough for her to need to sigh and sound annoyed. Lastly, we, like usual, didn't get everything we ordered so I called to request a refund like I've had to in the past. The person who answered, was once inconvenienced that I wanted a refund, told me no, it had to be face to face then before I could talk more, they cut my off and said "have a good evening" and hung up. Great Chik-fil-A. Not a fan of fast food, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Went thru the drive thru and was speedily sent thru on a week day. They have mastered the dual lane ordering and have people outside to take the order. For some weird reason that isn't obvious, it's two lanes. Not marked well and the order taker outside was almost suicidal running through lanes without giving two rips. Must think his path to fortune is to sue someone for his recklessness. Listen folks - this is the ONLY location in Kyle and guess what? There isn't one in Buda so you know how crazy crunk this place gets no matter what time of day or night, right? It's always busy and even knowing that I know that the best way for me to get my food fast is ordering through the mobile app. That CFA app is pretty awesome & guess what? The manager at this location has already rewarded me (out of the blue too!) with a few treats via the app. I am unsure why but I am guessing it is because of how frequent I come to this location and take advantage of the mobile app features? Unsure of it but I am super grateful for him to slang me some free sandwiches. There are 3 dedicated parking spots for mobile orders & they are on the north side of the restaurant (past the drive-thru). Even at their busiest these spots are guaranteed to open up or be open for you to park, run in with your phone, and grab your order without having to wait in line. I come here probably 2-3 a month and will order 3-4 orders at a time (all with different payments methods) and the drive-thru always gets me through and gets it all right. Sometimes I have to roll out of there with my 4 orders for the office and hope that the workers included every sauce and item we all ordered. 10 times out 10 they get it right every single time. I appreciate the workers here including the manager. There is an excellent work ethic and willingness to help and get orders right at the get-go. Mobile App really is a waste of time. When you arrive your order will not be ready, like my order was not. I engaged with a employee regarding my order and he said it would be right out and then nothing !! After several more minutes I was finally able to flag someone down and then they too said it would be right out. They got it together. In reflection I now realize I would have been better served if I would have simply ordered my food at the counter ( it was not very busy). The team is a team but not everyone is on it.
