Dining area - The image shows the interior of a restaurant's dining space with a mix of tables and chairs arranged along the windows and against the walls. The ceiling has recessed lighting and hanging pendant lights, with some red and black fixtures. Wall-mounted TVs display images of children, and the space appears clean and well-lit, with a neutral color palette and a partition separating different seating areas.

Nice, new and clean! Food was fresh and fast. Employees attitudes are cheerful as the rest of the locations. This location has a slightly different interior layout than the other Kyle location.

ows a hamburger and fries on a tray - The image shows a Chick-fil-A meal on a black table, consisting of a large soft drink in a white cup with red Chick-fil-A branding and a red straw, a chicken sandwich with a bun and fried chicken patty, and a serving of fries in a red and white box. Condiment packets are also visible near the food items.

This was my first time at this location and WOW they are fast! My food was ready before I could even finish paying. I paid in cash, so there was a separate person on the side that you had to pay. I love how friendly this location was and how everyone greets you with a smile. They gave us a lot of sauces which was very appreciative! Our food was accurate and fries were nice and hot! This a great location and we will be back!

    My "large" fry

I ordered a large fry. And received what looks to be a medium fry in a large fry container.

The CFA answer to a Sausage-Egg-McMuffin. And a heck of lot better!

TLDR: I'm a fan of Chick-Fil-A, and I came away very happy. Stopped in for a bite here on the way from Austin to Bandera. Apparently it's the only CFA for a dozen miles in either direction, so it was pretty packed, right? Well, you'd be half right. As usual the drive-through line wraps its way around the restaurant like a chicken-fried Mobius Strip...but inside, I was just second in line! So...maybe I came on a day when no one wanted to get out of their cars? Ordered breakfast for the first time there. Tried their equivalent of a Sausage Egg McMuffin, a Chicken-Egg-Bagel with hash browns and OJ. Delish all around. They use a superior quality orange juice for starters, one with a little pulp and a less acidic bite. The Chicken Egg bagel was super messy with all the melted cheese but perfectly delish. As for the sausage-egg-biscuit, I think I saw Ronald McDonald sobbing quietly in the corner as my ladyfriend pronounced it 'better than McD's by far'. Service was friendly and prompt, two of CFA's trademarks, the restaurant clean, and the food hot. Did NOT encounter portion problems the way others have. The sausage patty and egg on the sandwiches is easily a third more than at the Golden Arches! In sum, if you see a huge drive-thru line, it's worth parking and wandering inside. This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

ows a person holding a piece of food - Several pieces of fried chicken are arranged on a paper towel, which is on a granite countertop. The chicken pieces vary in size and shape, with a golden-brown crispy coating. A person's hand with glittery nail polish is holding one piece of chicken. The background includes a white cup and a small yellow object on the countertop.

The facility attaches to a gas station so it doesn't have much "curb appeal," but who cares? It's KFC and we're taking it home! That said let's get into the "meat" of this brief review, shall we? The older lady who took my order was extremely nice and accommodating. Moreover, the staff filled my order with speed and they even asked if I needed containments. I believe this is a lost art in the last few years among fast food restaurants, implying most don't ask so they don't feel obligated to give them out to cut back on costs. As for my order it was limited to a few items as I'm trying to diet but I was craving fried chicken so I decided to give it a shot. To begin, I thought biscuits automatically came with the order, however no dice on that. As for the mac & cheese, it was bland as standard for most of their sides. That said it was cheesy and the pasta wasn't overcooked so it was edible but had no soul. Much the same can be said about the mashed potatoes. Dried potatoes that are rehydrated with some boxed gravy mixed with water on top. Again, not much flavor but I end up putting my fried chicken crumbles on it so it's not like eating paste. As for the chicken, I got two thighs and they were fairly plump and crispy! It's been a while since KFC got much right imo and to see their chicken can be still be good as any competitor out there. The one issue I had was the breading was extremely salty as if the shaker lost the lid when they were sprinkling it in the flour. It was a little over the top. Now, these thighs were HUGE, I mean even Oprah would be like... DANG! What's more they were extremely juicy as if God himself blessed the fryer when they were cooking. Best KFC chicken I've had in years and two thighs were enough for lunch and dinner, at least for me. In summary, while the sides were exactly what one thinks when going to KFC the chicken was the star of the show, as it should be however the rest of the food was subpar. Hey joke for you all reading! Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to KFC (read into that with a slight tinge of darkness). I'll end it with saying the next time I have an itch for great fried chicken, I'll be hitting this joint again. Don't be chicken, drop on by!

The fries could use a little seasoning that isn't just salt because they felt a little bland next to the burger. Oh, and it's less than $13. Like where can you do and get a 1/2lb burger that actually feels like a 1/2lb for that price. Here, that's where. The waitress was super sweet and attentive. They weren't busy which was shocking. The restaurant itself could use a little more ambiance. I know it's more of a sports bar, but it is cold feeling. Knowing if there's specials would help too. They do have several TVs and apparently they do karaoke on Saturday's. Excellent lunch, will be a top of the list spot from now on.

Most places were closed except for a few chain drive-thrus, but this spot was still open and we'd been wanting to try it ever since they opened. The kitchen closes at 1:30am. Perfect timing! We ordered the chicharrones with guacamole, the Boring Burger, and the Piiggy burger with sweet potato fries. Let me start by saying: you HAVE to order the chicharrones. My husband usually doesn't even like chicharrones, but he absolutely loved these. They were freshly fried, not oily at all, super light and airy and gone in about two minutes flat. The burgers might look like typical bar burgers, but don't be fooled. They were surprisingly not greasy at all, made with fresh (not frozen) beef patties. The buns were soft yet sturdy and didn't fall apart while eating. This is what I'd call elevated bar food with great flavor and noticeable freshness. I'm not usually a burger person, but I genuinely loved these because they were fresh and not heavy or greasy. The sweet potato fries were also a win. Again, not greasy at all. Honestly, they tasted like they came out of an air fryer, which made them feel lighter and healthier. The space is great too: indoor and outdoor seating, plus a kids' play area just outside the patio, which is a huge bonus for families. Service was excellent--friendly, fast, and attentive. If you live anywhere near Kyle, you should absolutely check this place out. We'll definitely be back!

It was fresh, flavorful & yummy. The while sampler was pretty good. My fave were the rings and mushrooms. We ordered wings because they have wings in their name, so we had to try that and they turned out to be very good. They were cooked to order, a good size and they drown it with your choice of sauce. I had the garlic parmesan, hubby had extra hot because they didn't have the wicked, and my so had the Jamaican jerk. We were all satisfied and very happy with what we ordered. That said I'll be brief as if you've been to Popeyes, outside of service, the food should be about the same. The sweet tea is fairly good and so are the fountain drinks. The popcorn shrimp is an ok meal. They are shrimp somewhere under all the breading, which might I add is extremely spicy, as this is their only option. The biscuit is really good, flaky and soft in the center. The homestyle mac is the best out of the sides by far. Cheesy and the pasta isn't limp at all. The fries I would skip as their usually not fresh out of the fryer but they do have some good seasoning. The red beans and rice is average at best with little seasoning and tasting like mush. The potatoes and Cajun gravy are decent. At least it doesn't taste like it's made from a box and water is added. I wish they had more than one gravy option as I don't really like the flavor. The basic chicken sandwich is BIG and tasty. One can really pick up on the buttermilk in the juicy and plump chicken breast. The mayo is good but sparse as are the pickles. The brioche bun is a good choice as it can hold the whole ensemble together. Overall, it's probably the best chicken sandwich in the fast-food game. As for fried chicken I've only had the thighs. However, those thighs are darn near perfect for fast food. Crispy and not greasy while moist and I've never had it taste as if it had been sitting out for a long time. Overall, this Popeyes is not bad at all and I've never had to wait long for my food. Quality ranges from item to item however since the chicken is the driving force, they're tops in the fast food fried game. Today, I came to pick up an order that included wings, a Sprite, and a sweet tea. The wings were ready after a short wait -- no problem. But I ended up standing there nearly 20 minutes waiting for sweet tea to be brewed and sweetened. Meanwhile, the customer's food sat in the bag getting cold. To make matters worse, the ice machine was empty -- thankfully, one attentive employee quickly stepped in to refill it when I asked. But with at least eight staff members present at 5 PM on a Saturday, it was surprising how disorganized things felt. One employee was kind enough to check in with me. Another was on her phone behind the counter. When I asked the person brewing the tea if it was ready, she said yes -- but she still needed to add sugar. I asked how long that would take, and she said she had to clean a flavored tea container first. That's not a priority move when an order is sitting and a customer is waiting. This may seem minor, but it reflects a bigger issue. Delivery drivers aren't just messengers -- we're the final step in your customer's experience. When delays like this happen, we take the hit. I had to message the customer to explain they were waiting on tea -- not me. I love this restaurant. I love the wings. But if we're all in the business of customer service, that should include drivers too. We deserve the same urgency and respect because your customers are our customers too. Thank you.

They got it right... eventually!…read more I had a craving and a coupon. Dangerous combo, LOL. Since I hadn't indulged in KFC in a hot minute, I decided to go for it. Placed my order inside rather than try to communicate the cut-out of a snail-mailer coupon usage via drive thru. Was a good choice, because the employee took my order and quoted me the wrong amount. Coupon said $18.99 for a 8-piece meal, aaand he quotes me almost $30. And I'm like "Nah, that can't be right." He futzed with the console awhile but had to go get help from a more experienced employee. That's fine. I paid and was handed my order quite quickly and I took it home to eat. Foolish me didn't double-check what I'd been given in store. I hate doing that cuz it probably frustrates the employees like they can't be trusted. And yet... there was nasty-ass coleslaw instead of delicious mac n' cheese. All because they had to re-enter the order when the coupon failed and didn't input it correctly the second time. -_-# So I ate my meal at home a little grouchily (especially cuz they didn't provide any butter for the biscuits??), then shoved the leftovers in the fridge. Well, turns out I needed to hit up Walmart later that evening for milk, so I took the coleslaw back. It was five minutes 'til closing time for their lobby (9pm) and one of the doors was already locked, but the other wasn't yet. Whew. They weren't weird about it or anything, I just stated "Yeah I wanted mac n' cheese and was given coleslaw." and they replaced it super quick no questions asked. So in the end I got what I wanted. And it did all taste really good. I've been nomming the leftovers ever since, tossing the chicken and biscuits in my air fryer. Eight pieces of chicken is like four meals for me... and for twenty-ish bucks? In this economy, that's actually decent, pfft. So yup. Moral of the story: Just double-check your price before you pay and your food before you leave. =P

The chicken was not crispy, but rather limp. You should have known better when the drive thru attendant asked if you, "wanted regular or extra crispy". The chicken itself was greasy and plain, but not as bad as Church's. The biscuits, not the worst, but still pretty damn bland and dry. If the batter was beaten better to make it fluffy, baked less and whipped with a brush of honey butter, these would have lowkey smacked. The fries, room for improvement, as these were overly salted, but had the best crisp and flavor. Mashed potatoes, no notes. You were the best thing in this meal.
