We split an 8 piece wing combo which comes with crinkle fries and a drink. It came to $16. I got a cup for water at no charge. We ordered two flavors and chose Parmesan garlic and Lemon pepper. We paid and gave our name then got our drinks and sat down. We were sure to get plenty of napkins and wipe towelettes. Our order came to our table pretty quickly. We got two sauces, blue cheese and honey mustard. I love chicken wings and was excited to try them! They looked good although swimming in grease and on the smaller side of wings . On first taste of the Parmesan garlic I thought there wasn't much flavor but the wings were nice and hot. Second was Lemon pepper and also not much flavor. Ordered from here last night. They had a pretty good deal online for their boneless wings. My family and I ordered 30 wings, garlic noodles, fire fries, and carrot sticks. Overall I just thought it was just ok. Maybe it was because I ordered boneless wings and next time I need to try it bone-in. The garlic Parmesan and buffalo were the better option out of the bunch. The Saigon didn't really have any noticeable flavor for me, but I wonder if that was because the sauce dripped out of the container because my bag had so much liquid all over when I picked it up and brought it home. The garlic noodle was just ok. I thought the noodles were overcooked because the texture was just off and just too dry for me. I also liked my noodles garlicky and for me it was just lacking in it. Right when we walked in the place was cold, dark, empty, dirty, and just sad. Only small and large cups, no medium/regular. Waited a little bit for the food to come out, the food looked nice and looked a lot better than tasted. The wings were dripping in grease and the fries tasted weird. Not sure what type of oil they use to fry everything. The peking flavored (red colored) wings literally stained my fingers and thumbs for a couple hours even after I scrubbed them with soap. Picked up a couple items on the way home from work and definitely enjoyed the food. I ordered an 8 wing combo with Malaysian Curry and Jamaican Jerk flavors and side of Garlic Fries. They were all bone-in wings and requested all flats and extra crispy. The wings were cooked perfectly and the flavors were very tasty. I ordered through Doordash so didn't realize both flavors were dry rubs but none the less I enjoyed them and think I am starting to prefer dry rubs over messy sauces in this stage of my wing eating life. It was cool how they had so many options to get exactly what you want from your wing experience. It was weird to order Garlic Noodles from a wing place but I went for it anyways as I am a sucker for noodles. With that said they were just okay so likely will stick to wings and fries in the future. Which there garlic fries were very tasty and would definitely get again. Having this place so close to home is going to be difficult because these wings were pretty darn delicious! We had some friends visiting from out of town and wanted something we hadn't tried that could be easily ordered so they could grab it on the way over, and Fire Wings fit the bill! We ordered a package that included 4 wing flavors and two sides so we opted for the Malaysian Curry dry rub, Korean Kick, Peking, and the Saigon Street, all on the very mild side. First off, the wings here are fried crispy and hold that crisp under the sauce. That's key to a good wing IMHO and a reason these rise above many in town. The Peking sauce reminded me of a sauce I've enjoyed on pork chops in the heart of NY Chinatown. It's a great General Tso's sauce or sweet & sour type flavor. The Korean Kick was a sweet, sticky and slightly spicy sauce, a little on the gloppy side for my taste, but solid on flavor. Malaysian Curry was subtle, and when eaten with the rest, it was a nice break from the stickier sauces but it didn't stand out. I'm not sure what the Saigon Street is supposed to be like, but it was pretty generic, sweet with a touch of heat. The reason I'm at 4 stars is because the regular fries were undercooked frozen crinkle cuts (Definitely order the better fries offered here) and the "large" size was barely enough for two people to share. We had also ordered the 40 wings naked due to a gluten sensitivity, but three of them were definitely coated in something. The menu doesn't offer a gluten free coating, though I know many Asian style kitchens fry in cornstarch or rice flour, so I'm hoping that's what it was for the sake of the diner who was with us. All in all, this is a great addition to the scene and one I plan to visit again! read more

Placed an order for pick-up. I ordered 20 wings and Oh. My. Gosh were they EXTREMELY small. I wish I would have taken a picture, but they were devoured before I could get a good picture. Bums me out cause I paid almost 30 dollars for what seemed like a total of 10 (due to their size). I was a business major, I learned how restaurants work. The double saloon doors leading to the restroom need to go. They are not cunducive to chicken wings and sauces since they are stainless steel with windows. Trying to get through with your elbows is a PITA, and they need to be cleaned more often if they are going to stay. Several tables needed a cleaning from previous guests. This is my absolute favorite wing place in town! And I love love love their perfectly crispy french fries! I get my fries plain but they have a few loaded fries in their menu as well. They have about 20 wing flavors - the classics, the dry rubs and the fusion. My go to is the Dragon (savory, mildly sweet), and you can't go wrong with the garlic parm and lemon pepper. What can I say about Fire Wings? A solid "not bad... but not great" My wife and I had never been here before, but wanted a quick bite before the movies and she craved wings. Tada, Fire wings! Cinemark is right next door. First impressions of the restaurant.... spacious. I like the colors, the wood, and it smelled nice. Unfortunately, the wood chairs looked cool, but were less than comfortable. After our 45 minutes or so sitting, we became a tad sore. Next, the food. An 8 wing combo plate comes out to about $20 bucks. A tad pricey, considering you can get 16 wings with strips for the same price at some other places. But... maybe they're just really good? They were just alright. Don't get me wrong, the quality and cook on the chicken was perfect. We got boneless, and they were juicy with a good amount of meat. It was the sauce that was weird. We tried classic buffalo, lemon pepper, dragon, and tai chili. I also got a side of the hottest stuff they had, the fire sauce. Fire sauce? A little heat, but tasted like vinegar, oil, and not much else. Bummer! I dipped into it a few times, but it didn't make me want to go back for more. Classic buffalo? Really good. Not much else to say, iconic buffalo flavor, exactly as you expect. Only had a little taste because my wife demolished em. Lemon pepper? Dry rubbed, packed a STRONG lemon punch my wife thought was too strong, but I enjoyed, for a minute. Kinda reminded me of that one chip at the bottom of the bag that had EXTRA powder on it. One is good. A whole bag full? Too much for some. Dragon and tai chili? Weird, I guess? And kinda vague. The two flavors both tasted so similarly and so generic, I couldn't differentiate which was which. Neither one made me want to get them in the future just because of how bland they were. It also came with fries, my wife got regular and I got garlic. She LOVED her fries. Crinkle cut, crispy, fluffy interior, perfectly salted. My "garlic" fries? No. Never again. Most went into the trash. Greasy beyond belief, hardly any garlic flavor, and completely unpleasant. Pretty sure it garlic powder or something, not fresh. Which wouldn't bother me, except for the oily greasy coating they left my mouth after having just a few. I think next time I definitely want the carrots and celery instead of the fries. If there is a next time. $43 bucks is a high price for food I didn't enjoy much. But, the counter person was pleasant. The cook on the food was good. It's just the weird sauce turned me off... Which for a wing place, is unfortunate. 2 out of 5. One star off for uncomfortable seating, one off for inedible fries, and one off for weird wing flavors combined with prices more expensive than other wing places. They have a dozen + flavors to select from and the pricing is much more reasonable than say that of BWLD. The Mango Habanero had a kick and were overall delicious according to my kid and wife's review. My daughter got these and she got spiced out, but she enjoyed how you get the spicy flavor and then the sweet taste of mango after. I can't do spicy so I'll take her word for it . We also got the chili tater tots and I'm use to Sonic's, but once I tried these. I don't think I can ever go back to soggy tater tot's. These were so good. The only con I have for this place is how they provide you with one ranch no matter how many wings you get. You have to have more then one ranch the more wings you get . it's a common sense thing. No need to be stingy and if I need to pay extra for additional sauce I'll gladly do that. Overall 4 starts. This establishment was recommended to me by a co-worker of mine. I have to say that it was a recommendation for the gods. So many flavors to choose from. We tried the Peking duck, habanero and the Parmesan garlic. All very good. Splurge and get the chili cheese tots, you won't regret it. We liked it so much I had it catered at work and it was a big hit! We tried 8 different flavors that day and everyone seemed to love the curry flavors as well as all the spicy flavors. It is with great sadness that I write this less than stellar review. I will mostly be echoing the same negatives that a lot of people have posted. Firstly, the value just isn't there. Two ten wing combos which is wings, fries and a soda is more than $20 after tax. They charge you $.50/sauce for anything over one sauce, which is kind of silly since their competitors (wing stop and bww don't charge for sauces (I.e ranch for one wing flavor blue cheese for another). The value might be there if the food tasted good. As many others have said, however the food is fried leaves a very greasy taste, texture and feeling in your gut. I have an iron stomach and even I couldn't finish my order (my wife couldn't either but she has a weak constitution). Lastly, apparently a dark, low lighting shades down is the vibe they want on a Saturday at lunch. The bar wasn't open, they have taps, but it doesn't look like they have kegs....but hey, you can get a NA 805 lager! read more

Three of us went to an event at the Sierra Summit and got hungry for something different. We saw that the old sushi place was now a chicken wing joint so we decided to give it a try. We decided on sitting outside which was great as the weather was warm and we could hang with our dog. My wife and exchange student went inside to order some Jamaican Jerk and Lemon Pepper wings. While it took quite a while to make it to our table (my one quibble), the wings were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The fries were excellent as well along with the sauces. I am vastly disappointed. We came here on football Sunday with a few people with high hopes of it being the new and improved version of BWW of South Reno, since the last one closed down. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be back. When we arrived it was quite empty with just a couple waiting at a table for their food. We ordered the 20 Bone IN family wings package for $28 which comes with fries, carrots and celery and 2 ranch, we upgraded for $1.50 to garlic fries. We ordered 3 different sauces: 1. mango habanero which were a bit sweet and not spicy but okay overall, but there was kind of a weird texture of the sauce. The other flavors we ordered were their fusion styles: 2. Thai Chili & 3. Saigon street, both were tempura breaded which was interesting as this was the first time I have seen this on bone in wings and it was not good at all. The wings were overly breaded and dry and both sauces tasted the same. We also got a bad off type smell from them so not sure if the oil was bad or what but we couldn't finish them. Not sure if this is just their way or what but we do not recommend it at all. The fries seemed like they were just frozen and thrown together not crispy or anything and garlic just thrown on. Another person ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which I tasted and was not at all good and tasted just like it was fried and thrown in with zero flavor. We asked for some Nashville extra hot on the side to pour on or something to make it better and we were told it's a dry seasoning and could not get more on the side. Chicken was overly fried almost burnt and again would not recommend especially for $10, better off going to Chick-fil-A. Overall as you may have read by now, I was not impressed and my high hopes of a good wing place in South Reno were disappointed. I was super excited to try this new spot. I can never say no to wings and fries. My peer and I decided to give it a shot. As soon as you enter the ambience is pretty chill. It feels like it was a bar before. We ordered our food and within 15 minutes we were served. You get a text message when your food is ready to pick up at the register. I ordered the Nashville French fries and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were super yummy. I paired them with ranch. I ordered the regular size fries and they were just perfect in size. The fries are topped with pickles, special sauce, chicken pieces and secret sauce. As first the fries look amazing. I took my first bite and it was great. I then picked up a piece of chicken that looked very crunchy and man was it crunchy but in a bad way. It was either just pure batter that was fried and full or oil or chicken breast skin. I picked those pieces out of my fries. I only had but 4 pieces of chicken and the rest were pieces of fried batter if I do come back to dine here...I will not order the Nashville fries I will instead opt for the wings. Wings from a perspective of just wings... they were fine. Cooked well, semi meaty. We got the Salt and Pepper wings and the Korean Kick wings. I have been dying for some good salt and pepper chicken wings since I used to get them all the time in San Diego. In SD, everyone loves S&P wings. In Reno, this place was definitely a miss for that. Way too salty, white onions instead of green ones... like, I'd pass on these even if I actually wanted bad ones. The sauces are pretty good. I had the dragon which was described as less hot than buffalo. There was barely any heat to it, but it was packed with flavor. Wings are pretty small, both bone in and nuggie type. That's the only reason for 4 stars. They have cheap nuggie type wings l.. I'll come back and hit some other flavors. 7/10 read more
