I want to say how amazing the staff here at Fire + Ice were! 60 of us traveled from Hawaii to Disney to compete in a music competition. During the beginning of our trip we were informed Disneyland was closing. The day that Disney closed it's gates we roamed the Anaheim Gardenwalk. We needed some place that could accommodate us all and these guys were awesome. They told us that they could serve us in about 1.5 hours so that gave the manager time to call his employees to come in. Sure enough they were ready for us. The concept is so cool I wish they opened one here on the island. You go through a buffet and place the items in a bowl which then you deliver to this big griddle and the chefs cook your food for you. They were amazing and I'm so grateful they were able to accommodate us. We will definitely be returning the next time we come back. read more

This was my second time here and I enjoyed it once again. The lines can get long for the grill but it is worth it. I actually got two servings from the grill...the last time I kinda regret going back because I was so full. The salad bar has a lot of variety and sides so you can make your own salad if you don't like the pre-made one. The line for the grill contains lots of variety too. They also have vegetarians selections for those of you who don't eat meat. They have different types of noodles, from thin to thick. Many selections of veggies to add to your grilled noodles. The meats they have are delicious. I'm kinda basic so I had the sirloin steak because it is my favorite. I also tried some of the chicken which was also delicious. Before you get in line to get your food grilled, there are many choices of sauces to add to your food. I really like the teriyaki because once again it is my favorite. My boyfriend had the garlic sauce and it was very appetizing. Don't forget while you are in line for the grill, pick up some hamburger patties or hot dogs because they will grill them for you and give you the sides for your burger right there. This place is great for birthdays...who knows, maybe I'll celebrate mine here next year! read more

I came here for a gender reveal and the service was horrible and the food was not good at all. We waited almost and hour just for drinks and the the mommy to be did as well!!! We tried ordering from the bar and they wouldn't serve us anything and told us we had to order through our waitress. Never coming here again. The food was bland and not fresh at all. I love mongolian bbq.. and this was not mongolian. read more

The staff was rude. I would never come again. We came here to eat before a concert at the House of Blues

I'll start with we only had appetizers and drinks. I'll finish with it was the worst calamari I might have ever eaten. Sadly it could have been some of the best. It was a large portion, extremely overcooked and barely warm. Chips and guacamole, half of the chips were soggy, not sure why. Mozzarella sticks were ok at best. As for the cocktails, I'd be surprised if there was any alcohol in them at all. Our waiter, well he needs etiquette training. Nice young man, but has no idea about etiquette. You don't pass drinks and food across the table in front of people when you can simply walk to their side of the table and serve it. You don't set the tray of food and rinks in the middle of a table and hand out like described. The great patio atmosphere gives it the two stars. read more

We had a great experience here with our two kids yesterday. The grilled food was yummy and there were plenty of choices. Good service too! Well definitely be back read more

Great food with great service. We had a large group of about 20. They didn't miss a beat. Everyone had full drinks, plates were bused regularly too. Kudos to Fire & Ice for the great food, and friendly, efficient staff! read more

A great place to go for groups who cannot decide on what type of food to get. You think it's just your typical Mongolian BBQ. They can do burgers and hot dogs, and cheese steak sandwiches and many other combinations from their extensive ingredients. The bar has an excellent selection of beers and liquors. It is Disneyland adjacent which is great if you've grown tired of the theme park offerings. Anaheim Gardenwalk read more

Cool concept just executed poorly. The staff was awesome super nice and sat quickly because we made a reservation for 7pm. However, the line was absolutely nuts just for the buffet to create your bowl, it was also very small. We waited in the long line of people getting way too close and reaching over you instead of waiting their turn. No staff there to regulate and they were out of many items and seasonings. We finally got in line to get our food cooked didn't even bother going for seconds the line was long again then left with a bill of $56. The price not bad if you could actually enjoy the buffet. It needs to be more regulated and better stocked. read more

There is a true artist working at the Anaheim Fire & Ice and his name is Fernando. I used to love Fire & Ice back when I lived in Boston and when I recently learned there was a location in Anaheim, I took advantage of some time off to drive down from North Hollywood to check it out. And it was worth the drive! Not only did I unironically love it as much as I remembered, I loved it even more and that's thanks to Fernando who is a true artisan! The restaurant is what you make it and he knows the ins and outs of it! He knows how to combine various sauces to make your dish perfect. He can take your passive cravings and give you the exact ingredients and recipe for the meal you didn't even realize you wanted. He knows the secrets of the cheesy garlic bread Philly cheese steak, which was absolutely legendary. He is someone who clearly has such a passion for his culinary skills and his passion was contagious! I could not have had a better lunch--in fact I loved it so much I returned a few weeks later for dinner! So thank you Fire & Ice and especially Fernando for the gift of two meals that were not only nostalgically wonderful but legitimately delicious. read more

This was our third visit to Fire + Ice and we've loved it every time. There's not a lot to say about it. You mostly help yourself, the guys at the grill are always friendly and do a great job cooking. Our waitress was there when we needed her, but left us to eat in peace the rest of the time. We'll be coming again. Don't close down on us! The first ever Fire + Ice we went to in Rhode Island is no longer open and they keep closing these across the country. Came here for a friend's birthday and I must say, I really like the concept of this restaurant! | s e r v i c e | I believe our waitress' name was Yvette? She was a young Hispanic girl with glasses. She was suuper sweet. Had a cute bubbly personality. Always cleared out any plates or cups on the table. Brought out our check quick. Very good service! | f o o d | I was really confused when I first walked in but I started getting the hang of things after the first couple of rounds. I like the fact that you can choose whatever ingredients you like but I do agree with other Yelpers when they say they wish there was some kind of guideline to combining certain ingredients and sauces together. So here's some things I figured out after dining here.. [ -- ] STAY AWAY FROM THE BOW TIE AND PENNE PASTA NOODLES! It doesn't cook well on the grill. The pasta gets oily, burnt then chewy. It's no bueno. Just stick to the oriental noodles and rice. [ + ] Start out with small portions to test out which combinations of ingredients / sauces you'll like. But only pick 1 sauce, or 2 at the most. I suggest the Szechuan sauce with udon noodles and whichever meat you'd like! I went with beef and shrimp. [ + ] Burgers are good but just make sure you season the patty before you take it to the grill to cook so that it'll have flavor. Don't forget to ask them for bacon! They cook it at the grill! read more

This used to be one of our favorite places. The people who worked there were always friendly and attentive. With my food allergy my food has to be cooked in the back and it was never an issue. No longer. It seems to be under new management. From the second you walk in you can tell it live up to it's ICE name. The guy at the door is short in attitude and acts like he's doing you a favor for even considering to seat you. I'm guessing he's the new management. The place was really busy, good for them. But this is a place where you fill your own bowl and bring it to the grill. 90% of the guests didn't have a mask on while filling their bowls hovering over the food. The main grill guy, who thought he was the grill master, didn't have a mask while cooking the food interacting with the customers at close range. He was rude and gave me an attitude when I requested my food be made in the back so to food allergies. Like it's more work for HIM. He made me wait over 5 minutes for his assistant, who was literally doing most of the work, to take my plate to the back. They cooked about 15 - 20 plates, including my family's. I'm still waiting for my plate to come out. FYI I have no raw meat in my plate. It will take all of 5 minutes tops to warm. But 20 minutes later no food. I had asked the "grill master" if my food was done and he said they'll bring it too me and I can sit. My family is eating and my food never came. Our server came by to see how we're doing and I asked for my food again. He went in the back and quickly came out with 2 plates. He asked which was mine......the burnt one. seriously they burnt almost everything on my plate. I took a bite and couldn't figure out what I put on there that was crunchy. Then I realized, nothing. They burnt it. I picked around what wasn't burnt and left the rest. When my family went back up to get more I opted for the salad bar because I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for burnt food. The salad bar was dismal. I ate beets and cucumbers. All in all we spent $81 on burnt food and terrible service. I didn't even mention my family's food. The sever tried. He was busy. I give him credit. But the grill master and door man have a lot to learn about people. Too bad they lost our business. We used to be regulars before they shutdown. They add the gratuity into the price of the food but when you pay they still have a line for a tip. Most people don't read the sign at the counter that says the gratuity is included in the price, I know I didn't. My son told me and it's actually a HIGH gratuity. So we paid $81 for less than one plate of food each. A few noodles. A few veggies. A bit of meat. Yea, we won't be back. read more

Food was mediocre, but I was most concerned with the cleanliness of this place. The wok staff threw bowls on the ground after emptying the raw food on the wok, and I noticed liquid dripping on the wok floor and all they did was catch it with a bucket. I did like the late night DJ, but likely not enough to make me want to come back. Go to a real Mongolian BBQ place, and save the American food for better restaurants. read more

We Have been eating at this restaurant since it first opened 14 years ago. We think it gets better and better. The selection of meats, veggies, and sauces are top notch. My wife is a Type 2 Diabetic and she has no trouble putting together a great tasting meal while keeping the Carb count down. I have digestive issues and I appreciate that they have sauces that are not super spicy. I am so tired of other restaurants that go spicy, spicy, spicy and neglect flavor. We will continue to go back again and again. This is our favorite restaurant in the Anaheim area. read more

My family was visiting from out of town and asked for a table. The MANAGER (as I found out later) told them there was no reservations. So my family goes to their web page and there was a reservation. They book said reservation. They walk in with me (a local) to get seated. He asked her her party name and he made a snide comment about having a reservation. He then tells her he has three other parties scheduled at 7pm so he was going to seat her outside. For the record he did seat us outside and no other parties of 6 showed up while we were eating. There was plenty of tables available inside. (Also why would he not to first come first served?) Anyways that is beside the point. He pulls the waitress aside and talks to her. The waitress wasn't very attentive tbh, but she was not as bad as the manager. That manager than sat on his cell phone texting leaning against a wall the entire time we were eating there. It is really a bummer because I wanted to give this place a shot and I wanted it to be good. I will be telling every person I know never to eat at this establishment. That manager needs to be fired, IMHO. I've done management for a long time and I would never treat people like that. The bathroom was also out of toilet paper. read more

Spent the day in the ER today. Got food poisoning from this place. I've never been so sick. The service was great, but it took forever to get food. They don't FIFO the food. They just pour fresh food on top of older food, so it's just sitting at the bottom rotting read more

Fire+Ice is always good for special occasions or dates. Since there is a grill and a lot of people inside, it can definitely get hot and hectic. I'll only sit outside from now on. They have a bar you can sit at, but they do have a problem with not cutting people off. You may run into a couple drunks while you're there. The food is good since you can customize everything to your liking, but it comes out tasting the same as other things you get sometimes since it's all cooked on the same flat top that they clean with oil as they work. I try to get very different things like tacos and a Philly cheesesteak so I don't get bored. Overall though, I love going here for my birthday, and I likely will again next year. Their customer service never disappoints either. read more

Fire and Ice, it's an all you can eat Mongolian style. The thing I like most about this restaurant is the uniqueness and the price is right for the amount of options one is provided with. The how to steps are pretty simple: - Go to the beginning of the line - Grab your empty bowl - Choose your veggies - Choose your pastas - Choose your meats - Choose your sauce but do not pour on top of your food just yet. - Bring your filled bowl to the chefs who are waiting to cook your food for you. - The average time for your food to be ready is less than 10 minutes, depending on amount of people waiting and how many chefs are cooking. There is a great variety of veggies, pastas, meats and sauces to choose from. The key is choosing what goes well with what. If you do this, I almost guarantee you'll have a good experience. read more

Fire + Ice + Grill + Bar = smokin' hot restaurant in Anaheim Garden Walk. It's an all you can eat place that serves variety of foods in Mongolian style. It gives you the choice to create your own bowl and then take it to the grill for the pro-grillers to cook. The staff at Fire + Ice are super friendly and accommodating to your foodie needs. They bring fresh bread rolls for your table if you would like to eat it with your pasta bowl. They also check up on you to see that you are enjoying your food. The meat is hit and miss, but I think it's worth it for the price you pay for AYCE! I've also tried some of their sauces and I thought it was either super duper YUM or not so great. The sauces that I've tried with my bowl: - Teriyaki (yummy) - Szechuan (spicy, but not bad) - Orange Ginger (not good) - Alfredo (A-OK) Overall, I would love to go back when I am around the area because I love being able to pick what I like to put in my bowl and to watch the pro-grillers do their magic. It is such a fun way to chow wow and to watch the fire sizzle up! So if you are around the area, then I suggest you try out Fire + Ice because it will put you on fire! I think Fire + Ice would do rather well, if their location was better and the prices were cheaper. As for the food quality, I haven't dined here yet, just grabbed a few drinks at the bar. The Anaheim GardenWalk is just dead. It's like taking the man's best friend out into the woods and putting it out of it's misery. If they don't do something to liven this place up, businesses like Fire + Ice don't stand a chance. In theory, the place makes sense. You create your own meal by selecting the ingredients you want, then the sauces and flavors. From there, you bring it to the open grill and one of their chefs will cook it for you. We came here while in Anaheim this last week. Fire and Ice is a cool Mongolian BBQ style place that you get all you can eat for $16.99. The dining experience is interactive and fun. We started with a salad from the salad bar then. You fill your own bowl consisting of whatever you like. **hot tip even thought its AYCE over fill the bowl or you will have a small finished portion** 1.First is the pasta, your choice of noodles include bowtie, fettuccine, udon, and fried noodle or fried rice, proteins, 2. vegetables everything from the garden you could want is there even sliced jalapenos. 3. next up are the protein choices, which include ground beef for burgers, sirloin, fajita steak, pork, salmon, tilapia, and cod shrimp and they had mussels too but me no likely mussels so i didn't try then the even have hot dogs, a d all the meats you would put on a pizza which they will grille up for you too also they make a mean burger! 4.sauce and seasonings, There's a wide variety of sauces (teriyaki, sesame oil, sweet and sour, and mango pepper as well as different spices and seasonings. this is cool you can mix and match flavor profiles to your hearts content. after yo have all your ingredients bring it to the cook in the middle of the room and the magic begins! Once the food is cooked perfect the chef adds what ever extra spices and sauces you put in the cups and serves you up in a hot minute i had tossed in a couple of butter garlic balls and spicy sauces. We had a great time watching the cooks work and seeing all the different concoctions people made. we went back for seconds and also came back the next night for more. read more

I came here for a UYE/birthday party and I have to say that I originally thought that they only had Mongolian BBQ here. I stand corrected. They also offer American, Italian and Latin themed pasta grilled dishes too. You can create your own masterpiece or monstrosity. They were able to accommodate 50 people on the patio quite easily. They also have heat lamps outside so you won't feel the chill. There was a DJ on the patio as well playing lively music. Although the grill option is AYCE because you can go back for more, I felt that I was ok with just going up once and creating my Asian style noodles. I did opt for the salad bar the second time around. But for $18 for the grill option, I felt that it was a little much for what I ended up eating. Don't get me wrong, this is great for groups where you have picky eaters but for people who don't eat as much, it seems a little expensive. I also ordered two sangrias at $4 each and because we had a large group, they automatically added 18% tip (which I thought was no longer being done in the state of CA) but I would have given that anyway to the wait staff since they did a great job. They were able to do separate checks for us so thank goodness we didn't have that headache to deal with. Kudos to our servers, Jessica and some other guy I didn't get the name of for keeping everything straight. Thank you. They do validate parking so don't forget to do that before you leave. I think the movie theater gets more time than the restaurants do so plan accordingly. You can also make reservations on Open Table for points and they also accept Restaurant.com certificates. read more
