Food is most typical american one but they also do Mongoria BBQ. It is quite pricey for Mongolia BBQ but the quailty is quite good. The cook were entertain the guess and has great attitude. The service here is A+, they are very responsive and friendly. Food could be better but is not bad at all. They offer some cheap eat in Happy Hour like $3 fries which I can't even half of it. This was interesting restaurant and is is great for big group. We had over 20 peoples yet it still had room for all of us except we seat in outdoor which was better. They validated 2 hours of parking so make sure you don't forgot ! read more

Fire and Ice is a mongolian BBQ all you can eat restaurant. The dining experience is interactive and fun. You make your own bowl consisting of whatever you like. Choose your noodles, rice, proteins, vegetables, sauce, seasonings, and garnishes. The noodles include bowtie, fettucine, udon, and fried noodle. They have a good variety of protein choices, which include sirloin, fajita steak, pork, salmon, tilapia, and cod. You can also have them make you a burger, hot dog, or philly cheese steak. There is also a salad bar. There's a wide variety of sauces (teriyaki, sesame oil, sweet and sour, and many more) as well as different spices and seasonings. I arrived before my group of yelp pals and scoped out the place. Ashley was one of the hostesses, and she was kind enough to answer all of my questions. She was professional and courteous. They validate parking, but only for an hour. The parking struckture off Katella gives you an hour for free. So, combined with the hour from Fire and Ice, that gives you two hours. Because I arrived early, I ended up paying $9 (three additional hours at $3 each). The first thing I noticed about Anaheim Gardenwalk is that it's dead. Considering it was Friday night, it was pretty slow. Although Anaheim Gardenwalk was slow, Fire and Ice was packed during dinner time! Part of the appeal is that the chefs cook right in front of you on a big circular grill. They try to add flair (some more than others). It was quite entertaining. For $17.99 ayce, it is totally worth it. The only downside is that the process for getting your food takes about 12-15 minutes each time (waiting in line to make your bowl, then waiting to have your food cooked). I suggest giving them your bowl to cook first, then getting your salad while you're waiting. I didn't catch our servers name, but she was good. David helped us as well and was good. Service was good throughout the night, especially considering we were about 35/40 yelpers. On my first round I got fried noodles, sirloin, pork, mushrooms, onions, red peppers, salmon, tilapia, and bean sprouts, with teriyaki sauce and salt and pepper on the side. It was fresh and delicious. The quality of ingredients was high. For the second round I went with the burger and philly cheese steak. To my pleasant surprise, the burger was very good. It was seasoned well and tasted like a burger you would cook on your own bbq grill at home. The philly cheese steak was also good. The meat was tender, juicy, and tasty. On the third round, I tried the udon noodles and just got some salmon, tilapia, and veggies (onions, mushrooms, peppers). The standout item of the night was the salmon. It was super fresh, juicy, succulent, and tender. I would've gone back for a fourth plate of just salmon, but I was too full. Which noodle should I get? I tried both the fried and udon noodles. I prefer the udon noodles. They were actually more crispy and enjoyable. The fried noodles were more soft and plain. Fire and Ice accommodated us well, and I would definitely return. Fire+Ice was our first stop for happy hour. It was pretty dead when we walked in and the host was not so friendly when my sister-in-law asked to sit at the bar or close to the TV. He informed us that they were prepping for a big party and then we were seated in the corner. Our waitress came and took our order. We ordered 2 cranberry vodka and edamame. My husband had a beer. The edamame was really good. It was sauteed and topped with seasoning. The seasoning had a kick and good taste to it. read more

Been wanting to come for years for some reason never got round to it. Definitely worth the wait, my wife and I enjoyed and loved the place. The ambiance was great, the choice of food and variety is great too. Above all though as well as being a cool concept the Chef's cooking your food made the experience that much better! Great personalities and funny. Would definitely come here again! read more

Yesterday was my first time going to fire+ice and it was nice. But I would probably never go back again. The drinks were good all though but the food was pretty basic. Plus on the pictures on yelp it shows that they have a dessert stand but they didn't! Our server was really nice and helpful because it was pretty confusing on how the whole buffet worked. read more

I have been here a bunch of times and wanted to update my review. Now the customer service was awesome. Jessica, the gal at the counter couldn't have been of a delight! We had to wait and she was very friendly towards us. My problem is really basic. If you are cooking these multiple strings of food at the same time with the same utensils, you will cross-contaminate the flavor. And I don't want to hear "it all burns off" either. I got a plate of beef and rice and could clearly taste salmon, and that was what was being cooked next to my food. Gross. Watching the chef make a dish with Alfredo sauce, then over to a dish tilapia, then a dish with pork, another one with salmon, some hot dogs, clams, then a dish with ginger, and a garlic dish with the same spatulas was just rough. I do love the place and their drink specials so if I go back I will be strategic with what I order. Why they just can't keep a part of the cooking area separate just for seafood is beyond me, I would think it keeps customers away. What if you were a vegan and just wanted some noodles and veggies? read more

#100Reviews2015 - Review No. 17 It's funny - I typically only come here to celebrate a particular friend's birthday, though I pass it pretty frequently while at the Gardenwalk. It's never really busy, or hasn't been anytime I've been nearby, so I guess that's a plus. What's more is that I've only ever been here for the AYCE lunch, too. There's a huge griddle in the middle of the restaurant, very like the ones in a Mongolian BBQ, with a couple of cooks waiting for you to bring them your food creations to cook while you stand by and watch. The food bars are ok, several pastas and rice are offered for the base of your dish, then veggies - lots of fresh veggies! Then the proteins are offered, meats, seafood, and tofu (yay!) and lastly the sauces/toppings. It's great if you know what you're doing with your sauces and spices. But for certain individuals who shall not be named, mixing the teriyaki and alfredo sauces probably didn't work out all that well for you! Take your piled-high bowl to the griddle, and they cook it for you. Alternately, if you don't want your tofu cooked where the flank steak was a scant 30 seconds previously, they will take your food and cook it in the back for you. Don't forget to tip your chef; he's the one that ensures you don't get food poisoning from undercooked stuff! They also have a salad bar, though with copious amounts of iceberg lettuce, it's none too exciting. Service is good, drinks are unlimited, and desserts are chosen from the menu and served to you. Not an amazing experience, but not bad either :) read more

We had a really pleasant experience today. Melissa was our server and was extremely accommodating for our 21 guests. The manager was friendly and helpful. This spot is great for large groups. Reasonably priced and yummy too. My only suggestion would be to put different lids on your spices. They over pour the seasoning. Smaller holes would work better for the finer seasonings. Thanks for a great lunch! read more

Brunch Brunch Brunch!!!! Our family loves this place for brunch! Not only do they have the regular Mongolian BBQ, they also have pancakes made to order with all kinds of toppings, omelets as much as your imagination can make!!! Should I eat Fire + Ice? It depends what you are looking for in your meal. On paper this place sounds like a great concept. If you are hungry there are plenty of options. The things I wish I knew: 1. You can make pizza, waffles, omelets, hot dogs, Philly Cheese steak, and hamburgers! There is a sign on the wall for pizza, but if you walk past it you will never know. I didn't know the grill area has bread. Only regulars know this, but I was too full to try any of these. 2. Less is more! Remember you can always come back. Don't overload your plate go for a dish with simple and less ingredients. I don't recommend mixing too many sauces. Stick to the basics. Focus on one meat or one sauce helps. 3. Don't forget your veggies! I didn't have this problem but I watched a lady fill a bowl with every possible meat. If you do this, you are going to have a BAD TIME. I hope she has fiber. PROS: 1. Services is excellent! The chefs are very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the pointers, because I was a newbie and didn't know where the line started at the grilling area. The food area is always clean full stocked. 2. Options! The options are truly endless. If this were an ice cream joint, Pinkberry and Baskin Robins would have nothing on this place. 3. Birthdays and large groups! No problemo! Getting a table was great and having restaurant patrons singing Happy Birthday off key priceless. Too bad the staff didn't join in. 4. Great for kids and people of all ages. This place is casual enough, but still has the great lounge/party music and bar decor for a late night hangout. 5. The food is pretty good. I was starving and this place hit the spot. CONS: 1. Raw food. I didn't have too much confidence looking at the raw meats. The meat is stored in the same fashion as the salad bar, in cylinder containers with some kinda of cooling underneath.. maybe ice? Have you ever gone to the groceries store meat section and you feel cold suddenly? No this area is not that cold so what gives? Most KBBQ and Mongolian BBQ place shave frozen meat or if the meat is not frozen at least the meat is in a refrigerated unit. I'm a bit concern about the safety of this meat. 2. Over-cooked. My greatest fear is handing a chef a piece of raw meat and getting charred beef jerky back. The cooking process happens in a semi-circle so on a busy day the cook will just go down the flipping the food as he walks around the grill. Bad idea! Seafood and pork takes way longer than beef. I always try to be last in line for the best results. The first person has to wait until the chef cycle by a few times then he takes your burnt fried rice off the grill. 3. You get what you put in. I find random experimentation results in rolling the dice on flavor. If you don't cook, how will you know what goes in the dish you are trying to make? It would be nice some pictures to look or a menu on the table that tells you what goes in a chicken Alfredo and what doesn't go on a pizza. It would be nice to have a master chef to answer questions and make dishes for you :). Things that need improvement (or make this place much better): 1. It seems silly when everyone is waiting at the grill for their food. My group had 10 people and I felt like I would constantly miss my table mates I I would stand there all by myself. I suggest a table option for people that want to drop off their food and have the server bring the food to the table when complete. 2. I suggest an arm rest on the edge of the grill waiting area. Everyone gets bored of waiting for their food so they lean on the counter. There's nothing sexier that leaning on other peoples sweat and raw food spillage. Good news, the servers are good about keeping this area clean. 3. Separate the salad. I messed up my first round at First and Ice. My fault for starting on the wrong end of the line. I was about to make a salad and I was collecting the items then I almost put raw meat on my salad. Please have a raw food area only. 4. Pre-cooked food! Maybe I'm just used to buffets, but if you are a gonna wait for 5 minutes plus for cooking at least give me something to munch on besides salad. I would like to get some fried or white rice to go white my stir fry but I don't want to wait in line again just to cook some rice. 5. Dessert! Maybe this is my buffet experience talking, but some people need some free ice cream and pie. I swear I'm not that picky, but if you cook or yelp you might have a certain level of expectations. I really hate to say this but I rather go to a buffet. And I like Souplantation better, I know that's too low I'm sorry. I think the average person will love this place so don't be afraid to try. If you are a yelper or foodie you may see the glass as half empty at this place. I had a great time here and I would go back, but the food is just okay for me. *Sidenote* The next day I was playing R Kelly Ignition with my bowels. "Give me some Toot and some beep". More like the Dave Chappelle remix. read more

Birthday dinner, on the large patio with heat lamps...seating was great, our server was amazing, beyond amazing, super attentive and had a great memory! The food was delicious, I made a beef sandwich and then noodles. The drinks were on the sweet side (the speciality martinis) so I'd just order your fave bar drink. The only things was the chaos that happens in the kitchen area...getting scolded for putting things in the wrong bowls, plates, but we were never told how the heck the system works. They should put signs up with those instructions. Cooked things go in the silver bowls, veggies go on the plates. You can't bring more than one bowl up at a time, etc . What a deal too, came out to $33 for both of us. read more

We got off to a shaky start with this restaurant. We made a dinner reservation and when we got there, they led us to an outdoor table. I didn't want to sit outside, it's hot man. The table was not shaded, even though it had a outdoor parasol. The hostess asked if we specified a table inside. Good grief! Is that the convention now, assuming that all reservations are outside vs dining inside. Oh well, after we passed that glitch and moved inside; all was well again. Inside they had booth, table, and pub style table seating including a bar area with a couple of TVs. Our server was great but towards the end we got less attention, the place was packed and he was jamming to handle all his tables. On to the AYCE; the protocol is to grab a small stainless steel bowl and start down the line filling the bowl. You're only allowed 1 bowl at a time. First it's noodle/pasta-variety of types that are all pre cooked. Second are veggies, lots of them. Than the protein. I was freaked out a bit to see raw chicken next to raw meat next to raw fish and so on. Oh well I survived with no repercussions. They even have good size hot dogs and hamburger patties. The fellas at the grill will provide you the buns and cheese. If you want it Atkins style, just tell them. Than its the sauces, which they don't want you to put directly on the food...use the little separate bowls. Last but not least, don't forget the spices. For my first go through, I forgot the spices. You than move onto the counter around the humongous grill, you can go to to the right or left side...either side, both are open. The fellas manning the grill were very entertaining and jovial. Unlike other grills, where they move the food around, the cook grills your food in one spot, no shuffling around. But you may get bits and pieces of food from your neighbors, I did. Be patient you may have to wait awhile for your food to cook up. Overall I enjoyed my visit. But I think my days of AYCE are numbered. If you can't eat a lot, the dinner pricing may not be a good deal. read more

Fire and Ice is an all you can eat buffet style dining. Only difference is you go and pick the food out of the ice bar and then bring it over to the fire grill, where they will have 2 or 3 professional chefs who will cook your food right infront of you. The fun part is that you also get to pick your sauces/garments and essentially feel like you're creating a new dish for yourself. Consider yourself the head chef in the kitchen. But just a little more barbaric cause it does follow a Mongolian concept of slapping everything together on a giant fryer. When I came here, I picked a big piece of steak, and some teriyaki seasoning. I asked them to cook it medium rare, and then I added some shrimps and mushrooms to the side. It was quite entertaining! This is a fun place to bring a date if you're worried about what kind of food she likes to eat and there's basically something for everyone if you're not vegetarian, and if you are vegetarian, you can still have some stir fried vegetables and a salad bar to enjoy. Everyone should give this place a try once for the atmosphere and enjoy the ambiance of the garden walk in Anaheim. If you want a little romance, remember to take a walk after your big meal and listen to the live music playing out on the patio too. read more

Eh.....SKIP!! Quality of food is disappointing and the prices are too high for what its worth. +1 star for the good customer service. I've attended a Yelp event here previously and I recently received a gift card so I figured I'd stop by for dinner before a movie at Ultraluxe next door. Overall, the concept is interesting. They have AYCE Mongolian BBQ for $16.99 during dinner and $10.99 during lunch. There's a salad bar, a pasta bar, a topping/meat bar, and a sauce bar. You choose a pasta of your choice and top it with as many toppings that you can fit into a bowl and then you choose your sauce/seasonings on the side. Afterwards you wait in line next to the huge round grill located in the middle of the room and the chefs go to work cooking each person's dish. Now the only problem with this concept is that the chefs at other Mongolian BBQ places usually mix the sauces for you but in this case there's at least 20 different types of sauces and seasonings and no instruction on the quantity or amount of sauce to use. Now if you are as clueless as I am with the variety of options then you are stuck eyeballing what to mix together and how much sauce to use and guess what? If your food ends up tasting terrible then its your own fault since you mixed it! I've tried two plates of food and the first noodle plate was terrible. The sauces I decided to use tasted funny and the udon noodles were the worse tasting noodles I've ever had. They were mushy, and stuck together in clumps. My second plate consists of only seafood since i didn't want to try my luck with the pastas anymore ( I picked clams, two different types of fish, and shrimp). Again, the seasoning didn't taste right and the clams were not fresh. Most of them were closed shut and those that were open tasted rotten. At this point I figured perhaps I was just having bad luck creating dishes that I thought would taste good so I had a taste of my date's concoction. Although his dish tasted way too bland and most of the meat and tofu were overcooked. The only redeeming factor of this place is the good customer service. They consistently come by to refill water and check up on you to clear plates etc. I've always thought you can't go wrong with any type of Mongolian BBQ but sadly I was wrong. This place is pretty disappointing and I don't think I will ever be coming back especially since there's so many better options nearby (Cheesecake Factory, CPK, McCormick & Schmick's, Roy's). read more

Very nice place! Service was absolutely amazing, the workers here were very nice and also accommodated to my food preferences since I didn't want it cooked in oil. I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time and I thought Mother's Day would be perfect. Wrong!! My mom was not happy. Thank goodness we had a super nice and attentive waiter or it would have been a worse experience. He graciously gave my niece ice cream (off the menu). I would hope the service would be decent since they automatically tack on the tip after 6 people that includes kids. I have eaten at many AYCE buffet establishments but this place lacked variety, quality, and efficiency. The whole setup is disorganized. There is a huge grill to cook the food but then they separate it depending if you have breakfast items or a bowl or a plate. No signs! There wasn't even a sign, menu or list of items that showed suggestions of what you can order/make. I didn't even know you can make hamburgers or a philly cheesesteak! When I went to the grill to cook my food, I had to wait for it, worried it would get mixed up or I would claim the wrong plate. There needs to be more organization. I have been to a buffet where they give you numbers for each item you are cooking. That way, you are not having to wait, food does not get mixed up, and the food is delivered to your table. Maybe I'm used to Asian buffets like Luxe or Vegas where they not only have Mongolian bbq but other food stations. I thought this may be a better option than Korean bbq since we wouldn't have to cook our own food. Not the case. Lastly, I was looking forward to their Sunday Bottomless mimosa deal. Only to be crushed that it's not available because of Mother's Day. Seriously. For $19.99/person without the mimosas, you definitely get what you pay for. Expect to pay for parking at Gardenwalk since half the time spent here is waiting for your food to cook. read more

Decent quality at all for AYCE. Plenty of options and good quality ingredients of spices, proteins, and vegetables. This place is great for having dinner w/the family and for celebrations. "In short I was offended and completely disappointed in the service I received from the waiter. It was my niece's 20th birthday which I took the time to let the restaurant know in advance. We arrived promptly at 11:30 a.m. at the restaurant. I mentioned to the hostess about our reservation and it being my niece's birthday. She did not seem aware of the reservation but assured me that they would all sing happy birthday to her before we left. The food was yummy, my niece enjoyed the process. When the meal was over the waiter informed us that my niece was eligible for a free meal or dessert. He then asked for her id to prove it was her birthday. She didn't have it with her so they denied the free offer and the birthday song. I won't be back." The above review is what I left with Open Table regarding my visit. I would like to add that the hostess was pleasant and the food was yummy. However, the waiter ruined it for me and my niece. I had been hyping this place up for weeks and for him to act like we were lying about it being her birthday really insulted me. She is 20, doesn't carry her wallet all the time and we didn't even know about the free meal or dessert. I just wanted her to feel special on her birthday. We almost went back to the restaurant with her id later on that day. I don't think I have ever been so upset at a food establishment. Maybe it was because my niece is visiting me from Texas and this was a special day for her and I wanted it to be great. JUST REMEMBER... if it is your birthday and expect some kind of attention, make sure to bring your id! read more

A group of us came for OC restaurant week so supposedly includes AYCE dinner, a drink and dessert for $20. However note they will charge you full price when calculating 18% gratuity for a party over 6 as we sadly found out. So it turns out to be more like $25/person instead. Anyhow this place is your all in one Mongolian bbq places with the large selection of sauces and ingredient combos. But i would say being the jack of all trades makes it the master of nothing so most items were pretty mediocre at best. Note when they get busy expect to have your food unevenly cooked and even burnt as we found out... but i guess the sauce covers up the charred piece of meat right? The dessert was pretty lackluster as they were serving cake shooters that definitely tasted pre-made. You had to choice of chocolate, red velvet, carrot, and apple pie. The best flavors were definitely the red velvet and chocolate, the worst being the super dry apple pie. read more

As most reviews point out, Fire n Ice is a Mongolian BBQ style restaurant but with a wider variety of items and sauces, including Italian and Mexican sauces as well as burgers, hot dogs and Philly cheese steaks. *Salad bar: I had romaine lettuce, beets, corn, cucumber, shaved carrots, etc with a Cilantro lime dressing. Pretty standard. At the other section, you grab a silver bowl (there is a sign that says one bowl at a time but don't underestimate it, I filled mine to the top and barely finished it) and put all the items you want them to cook for you: *Starch: Udon, fettucine, penne, fried rice... *Meats: Chicken, shaved beef, calamari... I heard Shrimp is only available for dinner *Add ons: zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms... * Sauces: Oriental sesame sauce, lime sauce, mango habanero... After a few minutes, everything gets cooked in front of you. My dish (maybe the combination of the sauces I picked) was okay, a bit oily. There was only one guy working really hard. I wish there were more... It's AYCE so a lot of food for ~ $11 (weekday lunch). It's a clever idea and a good experience but nothing I must go back to... read more

Fire + Ice - My custom bowl waiting to get cooked - New American Near Me - Anaheim, California

Great service, atmosphere and food! My family and I cannot wait to go back the next time we are in Anaheim.

The staff attempts a good effort. They really do try, but I'm sorry, it's overpriced, the food is just gross and total sh1t plopped down on a dirty plate, and the grill area is just disgusting and messy. I'm really surprised no one got violently ill, given the cross contamination of food items, and people touching all the utencils. Went to Fire+Ice for dinner because a very good friend invited us for her birthday. What am I going to say, NO? So we went. I had seen this place, because we frequent Bubba Gump's downstairs since we're Disney pass holders. I even went to Restaurants.com to get a coupon deal, which gave me $25 for $10. That was done because Fire+Ice's website cons you into signing up for a $10 coupon. When I called the restaurant to ask about that, they said, "oh, it will take 2-3 days for me to get the coupon, and I will be able to use it on my second visit." I'm like, NO. There won't be a second visit and I sure as hell don't want to spend $75-80 on my first visit for a family of four. So, the Restaurants.com deal saved me $15. Look, I had a burger with some skirt steak and grilled bell peppers, and my left over salad on it, and then went back for a second trip and made a tortilla-less tilapia and shrimp grill with bacon and that is worth $16.99? I don't think so. Terrible value, and despite it being ALL YOU CAN EAT, I wouldn't want to eat all I can at this place. No desert, drinks are extra, and you are limited to two hours. Not that I'd want to stay there for longer than an hour and half, tops. I'm sorry to leave a crappy review, but it was a total and utter disgusting culinary experience that you need not to experience at any cost. Especially at $16.99. To top off the experience, you're forced to give a mandatory 18% gratuity. Seriously? WTF does that? My wife and kids (14 and 5) seemed to enjoy it, but I told them they can go back as much as they want and spend THEIR own money. It was not my best experience. In my opinion, the dinner was worth maybe, $12.99. And I'm being generous by saying that. My guess is that they won't be there in 2 years. Oh, and because I get there and was about 15 minutes over the 2 hour validation limit, I had to pay another $3 for parking. Never again. read more

When I can't decide to eat, I come here. They have all the countries...China, Italy, Mexico, and America. Bunch is also good here, there's an omelette and pancake station with lots of ingredients. The cooks also add in country potatoes and bacon. There's a salad bar also on the left. I recommend to come here in the offpeak hours if you are really hungry so that you can spend more time enjoying your creations rather than waiting in line. It gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights with a dj outside and lots of bday parties here. The drinks are good, the fishbowl is big enough to share with your group (even take it to the grill and converse while you wait for your food) The vibe is lively at night, next time I want to try here on a Sunday when there is salsa dancing! Be sure to tip the cooks, they really work hard here making everything taste great. read more

The food is great. The options are seemingly endless. Rice noodles in the noodle bar would be a huge plus! The night we went must have been homecoming or something because there was a strict 2-hour limit from sitting down to leaving. But they made us aware on the front end and didn't nag us about it when we neared our 2-hour Mark. The outdoor seating was a plus, though on such a busy night, it was a tight fit everywhere & the line for food was very long. They did have Beyond Burger as a protein option, which was a major win! I would definitely go here again, but maybe at a less busy time. read more

My friend and I decided on having a double date sunday brunch here. We wanted to tryout their brunch special since it did sounded pretty good at the time... we thought wrong! As we went inside having the hostess explaining which areas have this sort of food like the meats, sauces, etc.. we were still confused after she left since she talked pretty fast. :/ so after we got settled, we were still pretty lost since there was no signage around to kind of help us sort out where you should go first to get this and add this.. i didn't even know that there were making omelets until i saw someone making one - they had the batter and cheeses. (we were not aware of that - the hostess didn't inform us about that) They were out of most of the meats - hamburgers, etc. My boyfriend wanted one, but they said that it would take an hour for it to get defrosted.. (great! frozen meat!) So i made my mongolian meats into a quick omelet instead - i had to tell the cooker to make it into an omelet instead, he had that frustrated look, so i tipped him so he knows that i didn't mean to be mean. The sauces in general were wayyyy too salty, i didn't even put in that much for the grill.. but it was still somewhat tasty, but it can probably get this done at any mongolian place.. My boyfriend saw how the omelet looked that he wanted one too, so he went to try and make one, but one of the workers told him... "hey bro, you can't grab those plates.." (the plates used for the brunch) they won't let him get a plate to make another dish of whatever, so he grabbed a bowl cuz they had bowls too and he told him.. "hey man, sorry, you can't, brunch is over.." my boyfriend was MAD.. there was still 3 mins left of brunch so it should still be okay to do that and what made it worse.. my bf said.. "okay dude, i'll make sure that i'll never come back here.." and that guy said "i don't care!" REALLY now?! do you really not want your customers to come back??? NOT cool.. so he told me the situation, and he didn't want anything to eat after that issue.. the only person that seemed to be working hard was the bartender! he's the one that got our waters for us and the rice (it took 20 mins just to get us rice..) so after our disaster brunch we just tipped the bartender and not our "actual" server.. he was the only nice/helpful worker there! OVERALL.. i NEVER want to go to that place ever again! waste of time! - they're not gonna last that long... maybe they had an off day or something, but that was just bad (although i did hear about them discussing that they were a bit shorthanded cuz they didn't expect such a crowd to show up) but still! they should have informed us about what's going on so we would be more accepting! read more

Fire & Ice in Anaheim, CA. We had a large family dinner celebrating graduations. Nicole (Coco) was our waitstaff and she did a fantastic job of taking all our orders. There were a lot of us and she was patient and very friendly to our family. She did it all on her own including clearing the dishes. Fire & Ice is very fortunate to have an employee like her. A shout out to the cook Richard, he put on a great show for everyone. We'll be back. read more

We decided to try Fire and Ice based on the mostly positive Yelp reviews. This is located in a relatively new plaza off of Katella street. it is walking distance from the parks and many of the hotels. This is your quintessential tourist trap...All you can eat meat and veggies cooked on a grill in front of you.. We came on Wednesday night around 8PM, and was told there was no seating, and the wait would be 40 minutes, only tables available were outside, and I did not want to sit outside since it was only 45 degrees...Well, we were all starving, and the kids really wanted to try it, so we stayed. As we walked further inside, I saw 3 empty tables by the bar. I asked if we could sit there, and the hostess said, "If you want".. Really, why did you not tell me this before?? Anyway, onto the food. This is laid out like a bad Chinese restaurant. There is a lot of meat, vegetables and sauce scattered all around. The meat is very fatty, touched by lots of people, and pretty gross looking. Well, I got my first and last plate, some chicken, noodles, and veggies. Brought it to the grill, and watched as it cooked for 10 minutes....Yeah. It gets boring after about 5 minutes. Also, the cooks play a game and throw your bowls into an empty container. This is very loud, annoying, and just gross, as most of them fall on the floor. That bowl will supposedly be washed, but that is where your food goes! I would much rather go to an AYCE Chinese buffet. Fire and Ice is an EPIC FAIL!!! #Yelp100 read more

Fire + Ice - New American Near Me - Anaheim, California

I don't have any complaints about this place. A group of friends and I came for a surprise birthday dinner and everything was great. Our waitress got all of our drinks in a timely matter and the cooks are friendly as always. Their strawberry mango frozen margarita is delicious! read more

I quite like this place. Been here a couple of times (both on vacation). So why only three stars? Well, it's Mongolian BBQ. Buffet. Quantity versus quality. In my humble opinion, I have yet to experience one any better than three stars. With that said, I will say that the really cool thing about this place is that it is not just your typical Asian-ish ingredients and sauces, you also get Italian-ish, American, and Mexican-ish ingredients and sauces as well. You can make beef and cabbage stir fry. You can make chicken broccoli fettuccini. You can make chipotle pork fried rice. You can make mussels, hot dog and mushroom etouffe (or maybe not). You can make a 6x6 heart attach cheeseburger. Or you can put all of this into one dish and have yourself one helluva strange tasting dish. It's all your choice. What's better than that? The place gets busy and loud. Lots of large parties. Pretty impressed with how efficiently the cooks get through the large volume of diners. It's a great place for kids and (like any buffet) you can get your eats pretty quickly. Perfect place to hit after a long day walking those really big and expensive amusement parks that are close by. read more

I've read through reviews and can't believe some people have had such bad experiences here :( Celebrated two birthdays here (my own and a friend's) and came here just for cravings (brunch times). Service has always been great for me, especially the chefs!! They're always messing around and keeping things fun; or they even make a real conversation with you. Food selection is great, fits everyone's tastes. Only thing is that sometimes it gets a little crowded, so food gets overcooked sometimes :( Thus minus a star. Would come back when I'm craving ! $18.99 all you can eat. All types of meats and seafood. There is a salad bar. Many types of noodles and pastas available. The sauce bar is big. Me and my friend opted to add egg to our plate. They have to cook it in the back for you. But its a nice tasty add. They will validate you parking tickets for you. Good service. Friendly staff. Come with a big appetite so you can try everything. read more
