The food was amazing!!! There was so much variety, pasta, rice, fried rice, veggies, fruit, meat, and more! The workers were so nice and kind and the service was great. You didn't have to wait for food at all!! The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance, with large tables on the inside and decorations and light on the second floor patio. This place looks nice when you walk in, but shortly after being seated I realized it was not what I was expecting. Dirty cups, silverware, and dishes. You walk up to a buffet and it's just ingredients. You basically have to make your own food, and then give it to someone to cook. I am vegetarian, and when the chefs were cooking in front of me they were careless and mixed in meat with my food. Not to mention, they didn't even clean the spatulas for me. If you're making a rice bowl add a scoop of the garlic butter. You'll thank me later. The cocktails are pretty spot on. I tried the $5 mai tai this time and loved it. Last week I had the champagne Bellini and it was decent. The service at the grill is also the best. The guys are super friendly and don't mind any picky requests like can you chop up the potatoes or can you make the bacon crispy? This place has a salad bar, vegetable bar, protein bar(raw meat) sea food, pasta/noodle bar, everything divided in sections as the food is raw. It specializes in cooking everything fresh, we basically choose our food,vegetables and condiments, place in a bowl and take to the chef who then cooks right before your eyes and if one can't think of any food recipe ideas they have recipe ideas on a board, the chef can basically cook anything from Mexican to Chinese and Italian. They also offer a tour of the place if one has not been there before. The place is kept clean. It is very busy but food is cooked pretty fast considering how busy it is, The staff is very knowledgeable as far as helping with the food plate ideas and tour of the place. There was a short wait for a table on a Friday night, so we sat at the bar and ordered a Long Island and 16 oz beer ($22) to pass the time. The Long Island was meh. When we were finally seated and received a menu, nothing sounded appetizing, so we just ordered a chicken caesar salad, calamari, and another round of drinks ($52). My lettuce was wilted, and I couldn't tell the difference between the croutons and chicken because it was so overcooked. The calamari was super rubbery. We have visited Fire + Ice several times and always just for drinks. The food situation just isn't something that draws us in. Service always takes a long time but the drinks are poured well. This particular day we stopped in on National Tequila day so we had to celebrate. :) We had the Fire Candy Shots - each time it was served differently depending on who was pouring it. But each time the shot still tasted good. We ordered the Corona-ritas and the Cadillacs. Our group was happy with the drinks. Upon arriving we weren't greeted at all. The guy host, was talking to one of the girls and completely ignored me. He didn't ask me how many people ect. Just kept talking. I asked if we could sit outside since we had our dog. I turned around to tell my daughter something and the guy working the front that I asked, took off to go outside and adjust the position of the TV (for no reason at all) So we opened the gate and went in ourselves. The waiter, who was also the bartender, came out and asked us what we wanted. He was good but very over worked bc he had to take care of the bar and the patio. I left to go get my plate and when I got back there was no silverware. So I had to leave my food to go get silverware and as I was walking up to get it the host guy was there and I literally had to ask him if we just grab the silverware or what, and he said "No I will bring it." Meanwhile at that point I I was standing two inches away and could've grabbed it myself OR he could've brought it out when we sat down. He is by far the worst host/hostess I have ever seen. While this was happening I remembered that we had been there once before and he was exactly the same way that time too and completely ignored me while he was talking with one of the girls so we just left that time. And he was rude both times! Now for the food. The guy cooking was the best thing this place has going on and he deserves a raise because he was really good and was working very hard. I have been to plenty of Mongolian restaurants and so I know my way around the sauces and meats, but these sauces were not good. The garlic lemon had zero flavor. This place is so fun, but no relation to Game of Thrones! Located on the top floor of a shopping mall it's fairly easy to find. you have to park in the garage but as the plaza was empty it was easy. There were just a few other groups dining here so not wait at all. We were seated and ordered drinks. Then you go to the bar where you build your own meal. They have everything from pasta to Chow Mein to the most amazing burger. I made a teriyaki noodle bowl which for my first time was alright but now I know better. You build the uncooked meal in a bowl and then take it to the chef in the middle. It's like hibachi almost. He cooks it all right there in front of you. Or you can hit the salad bar. I could tell that wasn't touched as most of it was still stocked while the food bar was running low. You also can ask the chef for a burger right there. This place is awesome. I've always been a fan of the "Mongolian grill" style of restaurant, so I was interested to see how Fire + Ice was operating during the pandemic. If you want to order the buffet, which I did, your waiter will give you a card with your name on it. Take that card inside, put a latex glove on the hand you'll be handling the tongs with, fill up your bowl (you're only allowed one per trip) with the ingredients you want, and place it on a designated spot (look for the light) on the counter surrounding the grill. Go back outside to your table, and a few minutes later someone will bring your cooked food to you. It's not the same as watching the grill master work his magic, but that doesn't make the food any less delicious. I wish they would let you take a small amount of leftovers home with you, but I get the rationale for not allowing it. I ordered two beers during my meal -- a Stella Artois, and a Space Dust IPA; unfortunately, the Stella tasted kinda skunky. I would return to Fire + Ice, and maybe hope I wouldn't leave quite as full as this visit, but hey, that's kinda the point, isn't it? read more

This review is based on service, quality, and cleanliness: Service: the service and experience was pretty great. The cooks are absolutely fantastic and energetic. They really make this place lively. We had a party of 12 on a Wednesday and tried to get reservations two days in advance, but was denied. They told us it would rain that day and be slow, when we arrived the restaurant had a party of 75. Kind of wish they told us that because it highly impacted us being able to get food. We were also told that if we chose to sit outside and it started raining we would have to leave and would not be relocated inside so we had to wait for seating inside. Due to the large party the line to get food was out the door. Mind you this is to get the food, not waiting to be seated. This was upsetting. Quality: the quality of the meats and selection of vegetables was exquisite. There are huge selections. Everything tasted splendid. We also had a vegan in our party, and they accommodated her dishes accordingly which was amazing. The sauces are a little too sweet. Even the spicy ones, might want to get a chili oil sauce in there since it is Mongolian grill. Cleanliness: overall the restaurant is very clean and the service lines are pretty clean as well. The chefs do wear gloves, but i did not see them change out gloves often when touching different foods. This may not be true though just because i did not see it does not mean it did not happen. The food was cooked differently! Once you get your table, you stand in line to pick up your plate and items to add. Don't worry! It does get confusing at first until someone explained it to me. So the optional items are: pasta, different types of meat, shrimp, tofu, rice, veggies, and sauces. You are creating your customized pasta,pizza, hot dog, or burger. After you get your items, you wait in line until you get to the middle area. The middle area is where you stand and wait 'till a chef grabs your plate. There are three chefs. They give you the buns and lettuce for that burger, if needed. But the food was good! It was hard to choose a sauce for my pasta but I got through it! So can you! The chefs were nice and did some cool tricks while cooking. But the only con of this place, is the service of the server! We sat outside and it started to get cold. Best advice I could give you is not to go, but if you do, don't go alone. On my first night in town after a day of traveling, I was starving and needed something to eat before I got hangry. I walked around awhile and settled here. I've been before but it was more than a decade ago and I didn't fully remember the concept. I sat down at the bar, ordered a drink and decided to try the grill. Since I'm there alone, I pack up and take almost everything with me in line, which is so less than ideal. For someone with allergies, this place is an absolute nightmare. All food is cross-contaminated mainly but customers, and I saw people mixing utensils and the cook staff uses the same equipment for each meal - I don't know how in 2018 this happens, but ok. The bowl they give you to put ingredients in is small and as someone who doesn't really cook I had no idea how much to select. For the sauces, I mixed two, a fajita and another, but both were bland and didn't hit the spot. I guess the key to this place is to go starving since you can go up for multiple trips and find a good combo, but one was more than enough for me. The lines to select food and have it cooked were long and what seemed to be 20 minutes later, I sat back down at my place at the bar, drank my now watered-down drink and made my way through the crowd who had mostly taken over my spot. I needed to update my previous review as my last visit here was a nightmare. Eight of us showed up to celebrate my mom's birthday here. We didn't bother making reservations as Gardenwalk is always dead. We were seated immediately on the patio in the evening and it was quite chilly out. They offered to turn on the heaters and it was quite surprising when none of them worked on the first shot. They had to replace the propane on every heater. Once the heaters were working things were OK except for the annoying umbrellas right in front of our faces. It seems that they did not have a place to relocate them. We went in and started selecting our food and some of our party had started eating when the the bar crowd completely converged onto the patio and people completely surrounded the table except for the back which had railing. I had never witnessed something like that before where all diners (other tables as well were trapped by the bar crowd). It was very difficult to get in an out for the food. We brought a cake and planned on celebrating my mom's birthday there and decided to get the hell out of there. It took forever to get out. It took our waiter 15 minutes to bring back our cards to close out. I was a bit confused as we had gift cards and two people in our party were Disney employees that were to receive a discount with a valid Disney ID. I provided the two gift cards, Disney ID and the bank card for the tip. I was really confused because when the check came back it looked as if one card was completely consumed and one card was returned. The card that was returned appeared to have a balance remaining of $7.93 so I figured the discount was applied. Well I had another surprise yesterday when I saw that a $50.00 transaction was made on our bank card. I didn't know what the hell happened so I looked at the gift card that was returned to me (presumably with $7.93 balance) but no, it was a brand new $50 gift card that I did not order. What I then realized is that we were given a Disney discount on the gift card purchase (which we did not ask for) so that is where the $42.07 came from but still we were charged the full $50 on the checking account and did not receive the discount on the meal. I will be contacting management about this soon as I had no plans to return to this place again. WTF? read more

Over the weekend, my WonderCon-attending friends, my girlfriend, and I met up at Fire+Ice for dinner. As many of the Yelp reviews here attest, it's an all you can eat Mongolian grill, but with extra options. If you come here, make sure your bowl-stuffing skills are up to par, as it seemed like the bowls here are even tinier than what I've seen at other Mongolian grill places. It also seems like it takes forever for your food to be grilled, due to the popularity of the place (and with a two-hour limit - not good), so a dose of patience is definitely required here. And be careful if you use two bowls at once... the chefs get snippy at you if they do so (and it wasn't just us - I noticed several other customers get the Grill Nazi treatment as well). Otherwise, the food here was great - they had calamari as an option, and cooked over a Mongolian grill, it turned out amazing! The ingredients are fresh, and you can have fun mixing sauces until you get the right blend. Also, you can make hot dogs, hamburgers, and burritos here... but at $16.99 a person for dinner, why do so (unless you're a little kid)? It had been a while since we visited Fire n Ice. Once again the service and food are top notch. As always Raul (Manager) is very welcoming and attentive. Pretty cool place to watch your food cooked teppanyaki-ish and an all-you-can-eat too. The service could have been a little better- the cooks looked a little tired and overworked, but overall enjoyed their cooking and style. The food was okay quality, but when you consider the large variety of foods you can mix and create, the experience is pretty awesome. The way the buffet works is you grab a bowl and place all the ingredients you want cooked (pastas, stir fry, fried rice, and burgers). The pricing is also quite fair- $16 for Sunday Brunch Buffet (you also get some great pancakes and omelettes!) Would come back. Food and entertainment is a nice combo. read more
