This review is only for happy hour. We came to have a few drinks before a concert at the house of blues. We got seated right away and our server was helpful. We stayed there for a little over an hour and our server made sure to come check up on us. At one point when my wife wanted another drink it did take about 15 minutes to arrive. Our sever did keep coming back to let us know that it was coming and that the bar got a big rush and he was backed up. We did get a desert, the churro deluxe. We felt like it did have a little too much sugar, but that could be a personal preference. It was tasty though. Overall it was a good place to have a few drinks before the concert. Although, the food items available on the grill section was very limited and they all had the same taste. I added different sauces too but my Asian Chow Mein, pesto pasta and Burger had the same exact taste. Also, only the grilled items are AYCE you do have to pay for the appetizers. With the price it's not worth it specially if you have to pay additional for the appetizers. I gave it 2/5 just because the servers and the cooks were very engaging with the customers but their food selection and sauces need to be improved. read more

This whole place is sticky and the tables felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. It all felt very overpriced for what it is. The cooks in the center should get 95% of the tips, they do a really great job! Our waiter brought us waters and checked on us twice after that and we never saw him again. I'm writing to specifically talk about the service at the front. My friends and I wanted to stop by for a quick drink before heading to the escape room. We saw that their bar wasn't too crowded so we popped in. The guy in the front told us to wlgo ahead. Within a few minutes the rest of our group came (3 people) and he told them there were only 3 seats available and they would have to wait. Again the bar was not crowded. We saw 3 bar seats and a whole bar table behind us with 4 chairs that would have been perfect for our group. Again, he said "there's only 3 seats". I told him it was one drink and theres a table but he just kept ignoring me and saying the same thing. It was a little disappointing feeling like they didn't want our business so we left. Such a fun place to eat! We love that you can essentially build your own meal, and then watch it be prepared right in front of you! This place never disappoints. We were there for dinner on a Saturday night. There was a 30 minute wait. It didn't seem very full, but they were trying to give realistic seating times. I can completely appreciate that. The best thing about this restaurant and the thing that I really love is that you get to choose all of your items exactly as you would like them. They have a nice selection of pastas, rice and noodles for your base and many vegetables to include. The Proteins that were available on that evening were quite extensive. I really enjoyed the shaved beef, the andouille sausage, the shrimp, the fajita mix, and the pork loin. Surprisingly delicious was the pork rib. Who would have thought that you could grill a pork rib and have it taste so delicious. They offer white rice at the table and that is something I hadn't experienced before. Our server was very good and kept clearing the plates very well. I am always a little overwhelmed by the sauces. You just never know how it's going to taste once your meat is cooked and the sauces are added to the heat. But my new favorite is the olive oil lemon and garlic with a garlic butter ball and a shake of crushed red pepper. Extremely good! Please make sure you tip when you are here. I'm curious about the dining experience since I loved Mongolian BBQ, but the varied types of cuisine that can be prepared (i.e. American, Asian, Italian, Latin) left me scratching my head. We come to this Bar and Grill every time we are in the Area and every time is amazing. This place has a salad bar, vegetable bar, protein bar(raw meat) sea food, pasta/noodle bar, everything divided in sections as the food is raw. It specializes in cooking everything fresh, we basically choose our food,vegetables and condiments, place in a bowl and take to the chef who then cooks right before your eyes and if one can't think of any food recipe ideas they have recipe ideas on a board, the chef can basically cook anything from Mexican to Chinese and Italian. They also offer a tour of the place if one has not been there before. The place is kept clean. It is very busy but food is cooked pretty fast considering how busy it is, The staff is very knowledgeable as far as helping with the food plate ideas and tour of the place. There was a short wait for a table on a Friday night, so we sat at the bar and ordered a Long Island and 16 oz beer ($22) to pass the time. The Long Island was meh. When we were finally seated and received a menu, nothing sounded appetizing, so we just ordered a chicken caesar salad, calamari, and another round of drinks ($52). My lettuce was wilted, and I couldn't tell the difference between the croutons and chicken because it was so overcooked. The calamari was super rubbery. We have visited Fire + Ice several times and always just for drinks. The food situation just isn't something that draws us in. Service always takes a long time but the drinks are poured well. This particular day we stopped in on National Tequila day so we had to celebrate. :) We had the Fire Candy Shots - each time it was served differently depending on who was pouring it. But each time the shot still tasted good. We ordered the Corona-ritas and the Cadillacs. Our group was happy with the drinks. This place is so fun, but no relation to Game of Thrones! Located on the top floor of a shopping mall it's fairly easy to find. you have to park in the garage but as the plaza was empty it was easy. There were just a few other groups dining here so not wait at all. We were seated and ordered drinks. Then you go to the bar where you build your own meal. They have everything from pasta to Chow Mein to the most amazing burger. I made a teriyaki noodle bowl which for my first time was alright but now I know better. You build the uncooked meal in a bowl and then take it to the chef in the middle. It's like hibachi almost. He cooks it all right there in front of you. Or you can hit the salad bar. I could tell that wasn't touched as most of it was still stocked while the food bar was running low. You also can ask the chef for a burger right there. This place is awesome. I was within reaching distance to one of the cleaning areas and kept needing to scoot out of the way. We had reservations and felt shoved into the corner. Over the weekend, my WonderCon-attending friends, my girlfriend, and I met up at Fire+Ice for dinner. As many of the Yelp reviews here attest, it's an all you can eat Mongolian grill, but with extra options. If you come here, make sure your bowl-stuffing skills are up to par, as it seemed like the bowls here are even tinier than what I've seen at other Mongolian grill places. It also seems like it takes forever for your food to be grilled, due to the popularity of the place (and with a two-hour limit - not good), so a dose of patience is definitely required here. And be careful if you use two bowls at once... the chefs get snippy at you if they do so (and it wasn't just us - I noticed several other customers get the Grill Nazi treatment as well). Otherwise, the food here was great - they had calamari as an option, and cooked over a Mongolian grill, it turned out amazing! The ingredients are fresh, and you can have fun mixing sauces until you get the right blend. Also, you can make hot dogs, hamburgers, and burritos here... but at $16.99 a person for dinner, why do so (unless you're a little kid)? The service could have been a little better- the cooks looked a little tired and overworked, but overall enjoyed their cooking and style. The way the buffet works is you grab a bowl and place all the ingredients you want cooked (pastas, stir fry, fried rice, and burgers). This place looks nice when you walk in, but shortly after being seated I realized it was not what I was expecting. Dirty cups, silverware, and dishes. You walk up to a buffet and it's just ingredients. You basically have to make your own food, and then give it to someone to cook. I am vegetarian, and when the chefs were cooking in front of me they were careless and mixed in meat with my food. Not to mention, they didn't even clean the spatulas for me. They also where using zep brand chemical cleaning supplies bottles to spray the cooking oil on the grills. So gross. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I've always been a fan of the "Mongolian grill" style of restaurant, so I was interested to see how Fire + Ice was operating during the pandemic. If you want to order the buffet, which I did, your waiter will give you a card with your name on it. Take that card inside, put a latex glove on the hand you'll be handling the tongs with, fill up your bowl (you're only allowed one per trip) with the ingredients you want, and place it on a designated spot (look for the light) on the counter surrounding the grill. Go back outside to your table, and a few minutes later someone will bring your cooked food to you. It's not the same as watching the grill master work his magic, but that doesn't make the food any less delicious. I wish they would let you take a small amount of leftovers home with you, but I get the rationale for not allowing it. I ordered two beers during my meal -- a Stella Artois, and a Space Dust IPA; unfortunately, the Stella tasted kinda skunky. I would return to Fire + Ice, and maybe hope I wouldn't leave quite as full as this visit, but hey, that's kinda the point, isn't it? read more
