We walked into Fire+Ice at 5:40 PM and requested to sit at the bar. The host informed us it would be a 10-minute wait. We were puzzled by this, as there were only three tables occupied in the dining area and a party of two at the bar, leaving about 90% of the restaurant empty. A few minutes later, another family with a reservation arrived and was also told they needed to wait 10 minutes despite the abundance of available seating. A gentleman came in to join his two friends who were already seated at the bar. The host asked for his friend's name and then denied him entry because she couldn't find a reservation under that name. The host seemed irritated throughout the interaction. After continuously checking to see if it was our turn to be seated at the bar, but at 5:57 we eventually decided to leave. The hostess was unwelcoming and created more issues for the three parties waiting than she was helpful. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and we won't be returning. read more

Cool place in the Anaheim Gardenwalk. The atmosphere is really cool and I always forget about that little area. Love the DUI vibes where they cook it in front of you. There's a wide variety of dishes you could build ranging from Italian to American to Chinese. read more

Went with my wife and my kids one 6 years and another one is two months was party of 5, first we was waiting over 45 minutes and then they make us setting outside and was all the tables again all the tables outside was no one there but they still make us waiting and they count the one 2 months baby to charge me more they count it party of 6 and when I say we just 5 persons the worker she say it's the policy the baby will still take a space even if in car seat so I pay extra 38$ for my 2 months son she say party of 6 extra service fee read more

This place had a good concept with an AYCE Mongolian BBQ style. However, it lacks couple of things. 1) They only allow you to have 1 small bowl at a time. With that being said, some costumer's bowl was so overfull that some food fell of to the floor. They should definitely offer a tray so food items don't go falling off. 2) They only have 1 cooking station with 2 cooks. Imagine on a very busy day. 3) Limited items offered on the menu. On a busy day, you can be waiting quite a while for your food to be cooked. Would be nice if they offer appetizers and other items on their menu. 4) Food is definitely over done after waiting. Since it's a busy day with many items being prepared, your meal would definitely be over cooked and burnt. 5) Quite pricey for what's offered ($25 per person) Your better off going to your $19 Chinese buffet that offers Mongolian bbq with more choices. Overall good concept but needs improvement. read more

My husband and I frequent this place a bit especially if we are going to Disneyland or have been. It's the best price so you don't over spend on food at the park! The service has always been exceptional and we have always been greeted with kindness. We love that it's all you can eat so there are various options available. There's a bar area and TVs for those that are into sports. Just ask the server if you need the channel changed for your team and they will gladly do it. This place is great and we love coming back!!! read more

Our food was delicious! We were able to try multiple different dishes, everyone in our party going up at least three times. The salad bar was full of fresh ingredients as well that we were able to have. The table service was not as quick, and we did have to remind our server once for our drinks. Overall it was amazing and we can't wait until we're back in town to go again. read more

Have been to both this location and the one in Lake Tahoe. Love this place. Pros: - Very delicious food with a fun interactive aspect. An all-you-can-eat experience where you grab a bowl and choose from a plethora of food options, sauces, toppings. I usually go with their fried noodles and steak with teriyaki sauce and ask for steamed rice on the side. After you choose your ingredients, make your way to their open grill and they cook your food right in front of you - Staff is very friendly. From the waiters to grill cooks, they often checked on us and refilled our drinks without us asking - Tip: Go during lunch time: It's $18 a person for AYCE during their lunch hours and less crowded Cons: - None I also heard they have AYCE weekend brunch where they serve pancakes and omelettes on their open grill. I haven't been yet during that time but will need to make that a priority! read more

So I've been hearing about this place for a while. So finally I decided today was the day. We get there and place our order. I was super excited to try the Pina Calida. Also ordered fries and mozzarella sticks. Went to get our line food and came back. Waiting and waiting. Still no drinks. No fries no mozzarella sticks. We ate what we had. Just paid and left. Worst part. I paid $114 for something I didn't even care for. Never again read more

We were excited to dine here, but after rude treatment at the host stand, we turned around and left.

We had dinner her with our family and fire and ice is a great spot for a big group get together. It's like a Mongolian bbq but with Italian and Mexican options too! Indoor and outdoor seating in the GardenWalk near Disneyland. Drinks were delicious too. read more

DONT GO THERE!!!! Zerrroooooo customer service. Manager is disrespectful kicked us out. Racist!! He is very aggressive! they ask us to pay dinner price while we were there 2:45 and they started dinner at 3! We didn't say a word and we stayed then we find out the dinner items are not served. We asked they said not yet and the manager says you guys pay the sinner or leave. " i don't have options for You!" We tried to to talk and said we don't like it he called the security as he don't have time to negotiate!!!!!!!!! Called the corporate and filled a claim and waiting for respond read more

Alright here it is... We came in with about an hour and a half before our movie at the AMC next door. Decided to try it out since we had time. We arrived and immediately waited for 5+ minutes while the host remained on the phone and the gentleman who I can assume was her manager stood next to her, avoiding eye contact right in front of me. Finally, the hostess acknowledged our existence, told us it would be a 5 minute wait for the bar area... which had only 2 other tables in it. We agreed to that. 10+ minutes later, without any acknowledgement from them we decided to leave. Why? Because it's clear that we were an "inconvenience" to them as a simple party of 2. We would rather spend our money at a place that actually wants our business. Enjoy your 1 star yelp review. read more

I've been meaning to try this place and finally got the opportunity to do so. Went here after WonderCon and was starving. They did not disappoint! I didn't know it was a buffet and was pleasantly surprised. I had a stir fry concoction. The cook was nice and suggested sauces to go with what I created. My friends and I came in between breakfast and lunch. One of the cooks was nice enough to make me a crepe! Which was delicious by the way. Bonus, they have happy hour daily. Friendly serves, nice location and I would definitely recommend this place to those visiting or local to the area. read more

Been wanting to try Fire and Ice for a while now so made reservations for a late afternoon lunch after shopping at Downtown Disney. Didn't need reservations though, nobody was at the Garden Walk. I thought this place was a lot more then just a Mongolian bbq place from seeing it being advertised when they first opened. Yeah they also serve burgers, hot dogs, and other kinds of pasta but it's all cooked on a Mongolian grill. Not sure what the ice part of the restaurant is supposed to be? Maybe the alcohol. Even though the food was cooked fresh on the grill, it wasn't served very hot. During COVID, you still go inside the restaurant to pick out what you want but the servers fill the bowls for you. Then you take it to the grill and the cook brings it out to the tables on the patio. It didn't really seem like they were limiting the amount of people going inside to order and there were no markers on the floor to social distance. They did have hand sanitizer and gloves available. The food wasn't anything to rave about, it's pretty much just a fancy name for an Ayce Mongolian bbq place that is a bit pricey for these types of places. The burger was ok though. We had a few drinks which were better then the food. Service wasn't that great either, we had to ask for everything and she really didn't ask us if we needed anything. Had to ask for extra napkins and ask to order a second round of drinks. She had to come back and ask what my second drink was because she forgot. The restaurant wasn't that busy either when we got there, maybe 3 tables. A few more groups came while we were eating including a large party. The prices on their website are also incorrect. They tried to charge us dinner price when we ate from 2-4pm and the website says dinner doesn't start until 4. Had to ask twice about being charged dinner price. They still charged us the brunch price $15.99 even though there is a lunch price listed on their website as $12.99 from 11:30am-3pm for Saturday and Sunday (see photo). If you're going to open, you really should update your website especially when this is where people make reservations as well. They also have an email club that my sis tried to sign up for. She got 2 texts, one saying you get a free birthday meal and another saying you get $10 off or something like that for signing up. However the texts didn't look like coupons she never received any emails with the same deals. We asked the waitress how to use the deals from the texts and she said you have to wait for emails to come. Whoever is working the marketing for this restaurant really needs to step up their game. Prices are still wrong on the website and their email club doesn't work either. Not a good way to get customers to return, and in fact we most likely won't since it was pretty disappointing. read more

Newbie here at F&I Grill and had a good time! Food and the experience was cool! Workers are friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth the $26 for an all you can eat AND get a nice little experience watching your food you personally picked out being cooked. I highly recommend this to friends that are looking for an affordable buffet and cool experience. Will be back again! read more

Awesome place at the Anaheim Garden Walk. We stopped here for dinner before heading to a movie and as we walked in we were greeted so kindly and professionally. The host was patient and walked us through the whole process of the all you can eat bar option. Our first time experiencing this restaurant and absolutely loved the Mongolian style food bar. Pricing is reasonable for dinner due to all of the fresh and quality food items to choose from. The service was great! The host checked in and asked how our food was tasting. Our waiter was energetic and provided good service. The environment was cool and perfect for large groups. The food bar area was well organized and clean. Thank you for a great experience Fire & Ice team! read more

Why only one cook, Fire + Ice?? BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free meal One of the oldest tenants at Anaheim GardenWalk, Fire + Ice is a Mongolian BBQ that has been on my to-try list for quite some time. After stopping by KDOC in Santa Ana, Fire +Ice at the GardenWalk was a quick nearby lunch option. And, having my free birthday month meal coupon in hand, it seemed like a plan. The layout is simple enough. Start by choosing your base (various noodles, rice, pasta etc.), then vegetables. After that, comes the protein, sauces & prepared salads. Pizza available at certain times, too! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=VydPAKdNJ1FRX-51Py4c4g https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=mRYUSIMh1KORBLE_IqsSfA https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=08L-w-H4VkR2CrD3UmwuzQ Don't do what I did & mix the sauces with the meat. Failing to heed the signs led the cook to inform me how mixing the two prior to cooking may led to the meat burning on the grill. While there are a lot of options to eat, I found the choices of meat to be lacking in quality. Initially excited to see blackened cod, the outcome after cooking proved to be rather dry & not very appetizing. The shaved beef became a mush around the cod, and I found it hard to finish my plate. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=XsZHaSsu65EV0rx3a-hOuw Mussels & pork proved to be a step up in fare, leading to better enjoyment with my second plate. I stuck to spring mix salad & Italian salad for my vegetables. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=sxsvkbZtMAoAxahrslNrXw https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=099qgl58u6u5PNfNF9jiHg https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=aNhM4mjrbj9vl8zrAnBUxg Service from my attendant was fine. But, as I lamented to start the review, there's only one cook manning the grill! I lucked out & just made the free 1 hour validated parking when leaving the GardenWalk. Ample seating inside & al fresco. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fire-ice-anaheim?select=4y0sVHzvHaJ9iYp24D3hyQ Parking is at the Anaheim GardenWalk. Validated parking is free for the first hour & reduced pricing for anything over. A free meal is good, but the wait from having one cook, not to mention the lack thereof of quality meat options, are what soured my initial visit to Fire + Ice. I'm glad I finally took the opportunity to check this place out, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be using my free birthday month coupons going forward. And, coming from a cheapskate like me, that's saying something! read more

Its fun and the food is fresh and the service is great and they have good choices for drinks.

A new take in a buffet. My daughter ate at one in Boston and said it was amazing! She's 13. So while On vacay in Cali there was one near our hotel. Why not since the wait time was low. For a flat rate maybe $20 oor so you can eat as much as you want. First you fill your bowl with raw meats, veggies, noodles rice etc. then visit the huge cook top and give yiur bowl to the cooks. They then hibachi sTyle cook you food. It really is interesting to watch the clockwork style they do this. Those cooks were hustling! I was amazed by their flow! Food was good. There is a salad bar and also a regular menu to order off. My sons is a vegetarian and they offer a special Menu and cook top. Staff was friendly. read more

Fire + Ice - Frozen Strawberry Mango Margarita - New American Near Me - Anaheim, California

From what I recall, Fire + Ice is one of the original tenants of the Anaheim Gardenwalk, which has gone through over 100 shuffles at this point (I'm assuming). I've been coming here infrequently for years and this place is special. The best way I would describe it is a hybrid between a Mongolian BBQ joint, unlimited pasta bar and burger joint. They have a vast variety of proteins (including steak and shrimp for dinner), vegetables, noodles and rice and sauces. You take your ingredients of choice to the chef and he cooks it up in front of you, while you enjoy the ambiance of the lively restaurant. For the most part, all the ingredients are very high quality. And you can make some pretty awesome food here. But honestly, the best thing here is the BURGERS. Yes, THE BURGERS. Don't miss out on them. Seriously. I know what you're thinking. Why should I skip out on the steak and shrimp and get the burgers? Because the beef is incredibly high quality and the patty has a nice crust from the griddle, a la smash burger. They can put some of that incredibly crispy bacon on top, as well as some cheddar cheese. The chefs melt the cheddar cheese on the griddle, as well as the SAUCE. Yes. You need to go try it. So good! Park on the 4th floor and make sure to sign up for the e-club for a free breakfast meal! read more

Great food and service. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is cool. Def recommend

What a fun place! Plus great service. Our server Melissa was really attentive. We never had to ask for anything...we turned around and dishes removed, drinks refilled. The host (dont know his name) helped my friend whose daughter needed ice on her eyes (from a pool incident earlier in the day). He offered an ice pack (after seeing her put cucumbers on her eyes) without prompting. Plus the gentlemen at the bbq were entertaining, professional, and efficient. Everything moved quickly...food completely cooked, and fun to watch. They seemed to have addressed the signage - it was clear we should put sauce on the side - signage at the ingredient bar and the server also told us. Fun, touristy place with a nice rooftop seating area and firepit. Would definitely recommend to visitors at the Disneyland area and would come again! read more

Do not believe the positive reviews, we had an awful experience here a few night ago. They seated us late but that's no big deal- what bothered us was the following: (1) it's a buffet during Covid, with the people placing the food in the troughs NOT wearing masks and the guests were in many cases not using the plastic gloves and it seemed touching the food to much. (2) we know for a fact that we ordered premium vodka (know how Tito's tastes) and we're served well alcohol in three of our drinks (3) the center food cooking area is chaos and not well defined Don't go here unless you have no other options read more

First time we visited, our chicken was undercooked. Decided to try again, walked in and were told it would be a minute. Then a group of five walked in with no reservation and they got sat immediately. We were then told our wait would be 50 minutes. I asked why they got sat immediately and they said because they had a booth open. When you call, they say walk-in's are first come first serve, but that is clearly not the case. We are local and try to eat local, but after two bad visits we will not be back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. As soon as I walked in two girls are standing there talking not even greeting till their conversation was over, then have to wait 15 minutes when there were plenty of seating. Staff so unorganized, my baby and I were waiting in the bathroom for 15 minutes just for a worker to be getting dressed and taking her time in the big stall while my baby is crying right outside. Would not suggest this place. Very Unorganized girls working at this place. read more

Overpriced with mediocre food. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids so they charged an 18% service charge. For what clearing one plate and bringing me an ice tea? I had one stir fry plate, a hamburger patty and an ice tea, $35? I would have gotten more food but it was hardly appetizing to me. I prefer the traditional Mongolian bbq sauce options. Their sauces are thick and gloppy. lMeh. Oh and the table was sticky icky. I tried to clean with my antibacterial wipe and the stickiness would not go away. Gross. Never going back. read more

Stumbled upon this little gem while walking through the shops at Gardenwalk in Anaheim. Super excited we found it. Depending on the sauce, meat, and toppings you grab you can create your own signature dish! They make burgers cook to order and EVERYTHING looks fresh and is yummy! It is all you can eat but I was bested by my first plate. I didn't even get to try the extensive salad bar! For now I will have to let my dinner process and dream about delicious salad later. The place is clean and well equipped with TVs so you can catch the game, even have a cocktail from their full service bar! . I am assuming it could probably get pretty loud on a packed Friday night. Great family or date place! Unless you are stuffy and pretentious then it's not going to be your place, but for the fun, sports loving, fresh food eating, average Jane (or Joe) then you will totally love the Fire and Ice Interactive Grill and Bar. read more

I love it here! Everyone is friendly, the endless combinations of different dishes you can create is impressive. If you and your significant other can't agree where or what to eat, this place is your answer. The staff are really friendly and the cooks are always willing to make recommendations. I can't say enough good things about Fernando! He should write a cookbook with the recipes he creates. Fernando was super friendly and we were talking like we were old friends. He put on a fun show for my daughter where he made flames flare up on the grill. He also makes a killer Philly Cheesesteak. Ask for some of his sauce combinations, they are amazing! read more

Our first time here. Raul M. was our server and he was not only friendly but very attentive. He took time to explain the process and also had suggestions on the desserts. I don't recommend this place at all, we came here on Saturday night and they sat us outside and we requested another table next to the fence so we can keep an eye on the kids when they play right outside the fence and he basically said to either sit on the table that he put us in or to leave. I believe he was was racist. We're never coming back here again. read more

It wasn't the best experience. The price matches the quality of the food. It didn't seem sanitary to me, different raw meats sitting there.
