super cute little diner! friendly service and reasonable prices. the shake was so good and they had so many flavors. fries and burger were good!

Dam fine burger

Thank you for not allowing dogs in the dining area. A lot of people are allergic. Also most "service dogs" that I see are fake. If you can't handle being away from your dog put on a helmet and STAY HOME. Also remember you can just order to go very simple.

My parents used to take us here years ago. Today, I took my 7yo grandson. I ordered an ElDorado burger it came with all the fixings and topped with an onion ring. Under $11 with FF. Kids chicken strip meal under $7... my grand says it's the best thing ever especially the Krinkle fries which are crunchy on the outside and like mashers on the inside. Super good! He subbed a roortbeer milkshake instead of the bev for an extra $2. It came in a frosted A&W mug w whipped cream and a cherry. He was pretty stoked. The portions are generous... the chicken strips definitely aren't kid-sized... for an adult. Ranch and Thousand Island are house made and very good. It's a win-win here, especially for the kids. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. My grand said: she's respectful. Awwww

Chili Burger w/ fries

We came to Fins because we were craving fries and a milkshake, and they killed it. The Oreo Milkshake totally hit the spot and was such a steal for $5! The crinkle cut fries were good. Most of them had a nice crisp on the outside (and the side of ranch was so good), but some of the fries that sat at the bottom started to get a little soft. My chili burger was really good and surprisingly filling. I worried that it wouldn't fill em up when I snapped out of my reverie and was already halfway through, but I needn't have worried. My wife's patty melt left something to be desired, unfortunately. It was pretty dry and just didn't end up being very satisfying. The dine-in section was a cute '50s style diner with some fun memorabilia displayed around some booths and a long curved bar.

Refused to 83 year-old lady to come inside with her. Service dog made her sit outside in a metal chair to eat. ADA law says Service animals are allowed in any public place. Here's our photos of everything. Also, she had to sit outside in the heat. Katie is the waitress name that told her

Everytime we visited they were short staffed. A ton of waiting. I like their french dip but don't like the wait.

This was a nice find, we were looking for a local breakfast spot in Eugene. Right off of the…read moreBeltline on Coburg road, you will find Buddy's Diner. Its a classic diner with bar top seating, many booths and open tables within a very small space. Don't be scared away from the waitlist or large families waiting outside the door, they seem to turn tables very quickly so plan for a little bit of a wait, but its worth it. We got lucky and two bar top seats opened up, we waited about 10 min. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who quickly offered us menus and filled our drink order. The menu is quite ample, lots of breakfast options, from scrambles and omelets to many shakes and desserts, if you are looking for lunch they have burgers, sandwiches and wraps. We ordered breakfast, I had the custom option, two eggs, bacon, sausage and added a side english muffin. The food was well cooked, good portion and great tasting. My son ordered a custom, 2 biscuits and gravy with an egg and hash brown, he loved his meal. The pricing was fair. We did not have much of a wait time from the time we ordered to getting our meals. Even though it was busy they did a great job making sure we were taken care of.

I came here wondering why a burger place would close by 2 PM because I just had the thought that…read morethat's what this was. However, besides burgers, they also serve a number of breakfast items like pancakes and eggs and so forth. So I decided to go with the breakfast menu and ordered half order of biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. I must say both were extremely good and just the food alone I will come back. But the service is very good and attentive and the ambiance has that old time diner feel to it that you don't see too often anymore. Definitely would come back.

I went here for breakfast with a friend yesterday and it was fantastic! We sat down immediately and…read moreour waitress came over a minute later. She brought us the menus and some water. We took our time with the menu as there were so many delicious-looking options. We ended up splitting two dishes so we could both have some variety. We did the French toast with a berry compote and ricotta topping and the veggie omelette with hash browns and toast. Every single thing was so good! The eggs were cooked well, the hash browns were crispy, and the French toast was perfectly made. The ricotta and berry compote was also fantastic. We were absolutely stuffed and could not be happier. The bill was also much lower than we expected, so the food is pretty affordable compared to other diners in town. I think they moved into this space recently as I remember another restaurant being here before. That restaurant was much more territorial with their parking spots and had signs everywhere telling people not to park there if they weren't customers, but those signs are gone now which is nice. Everyone here was super friendly and lovely. I love the mission of this restaurant and will definitely be back to continue supporting them in the future!

This was our third visit, and unfortunately every single time our order has been wrong. We tried to…read moregive this place multiple chances because the food itself has potential, but today was the final straw. My eggs were undercooked, and a very simple request, just adding cheese and salsa to scrambled eggs, still wasn't done correctly. The dish honestly came out inedible. What's most frustrating is the lack of communication and consistency. I really wanted to love and recommend this place, but after three disappointing experiences, I'd rather pay more somewhere else and actually receive what I ordered with decent service. To make matters worse, both my husband and I have had stomach issues all day after eating here. Very disappointing experience overall.
