Came here for lunch while at an event @ NJMP. Its conveniently located between Lightning and Thunderbolt. Plenty of parking. I didn't have high expectations given that the venue, but turns out it was fairly good. Had a fairly wide range of items on the menu, most being American options. Prices were reasonable. I ordered a burger, which I was pleased with. Tasty, and on the larger size. Came with a side of fries. Only issue was that the food took a while to come out, which could be tough because some track events have relatively short lunches. read more

I have been here many times when I go to the motor sports park. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming. I love to sit outside on their patio for dinner. The food has always been good and they usually have some kind of specials. I wish they were open all year round! read more

We enjoyed our first experience so much, we went back a second night. The drinks were well made. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We had fried pickles & lobster spring rolls to start, followed up by burgers. The second night we went back and had lobster mac-n-cheese, and chicken & waffles with hot honey sauce. Delicious! I would generally give this place 4 stars because they have decent food and drinks. We have come here multiple years for track events, so we have always stopped for dinner and drinks at the end of the day. We came in this time on Friday afternoon and had Max as a server. She was great. However, when we returned at about 9 pm, Max was still there to serve us again, she was great again, but it was close to closing and we had not cashed out yet. So at 9:57, the manager (or at least that's who we are assuming she is) turned OFF the lights in the restaurant area and over our table. We received our checks and paid IN THE DARK. I understand that it was time to go, but we were trying to pay our bill and had to use the light on our phones to see what we were paying for, which ended up taking longer. This was extremely rude and Max had no power to fix it, because the lady who turned off the lights was apparently in charge. Also, if she was in charge, she could have politely come and speak to us, but she just stayed over by the cash register and didn't even look at us. This was extremely disappointing, and we will not be returning on this trip to the track. Maybe next time try treating your patrons like adults, instead of kindergartners in a classroom... read more

Disappointing for its location at what is essentially a country club for race car drivers. With the number of Porsches in the parking lot, I expected much more in terms of selection and execution. I've been here a few times, but I believe this was the first time I ate anything. Standard pub fare. The chef's salad was generous, though it felt like various cubes of meat and cheese in various sizes were a little too liberally thrown on the plate. Also disappointing was the four-pack of Ken's salad dressing bottles brought out with the salad; a restaurant like this can't even make their own vinaigrette? You would think a place that caters to upscale racers would have a good sampling of craft beer, but you'd be mistaken. Their taps include Coors light, Yeungling, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, and a rotating craft beer. If you're spending a day at the track, you don't have many other food options, but I certainly wouldn't seek this place out for a nice meal. read more

Someone I knew was playing music here one evening and I came over to hear him. Meanwhile, I had a few beers. The place is just what one would expect at a venue like this. There's a bar, a restaurant, and some casual seating in the lounge. Nothing was wrong, but it didn't feel like a place I would visit, and I am close, if there were not an event I had just attended and wanted to extend the festivities. My wife and I will never come here for a couple drinks. All is clean. Prices a tad up. Wasn't terribly impressed. read more

Not sure why such low ratings, our food was great and the staff was wonderful. We spent the weekend at NJMP and stayed in one of the suites. We were tired and dirty from the days' track events so we didn't want to go into town or get cleaned up to go to the restaurant itself. We ordered take-out from the Finish Line on both nights. The servers who answered were friendly and our orders were ready in no time at all. We drove the short distance over and picked up our food and brought it back to our suite. Everything was well packaged and still hot when we were ready to eat. The first night, my husband had the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries and I had the chicken parm sandwich with regular fries. Both were delicious, and my husband is very picky with his pulled pork since he usually makes his own. The second night, I like the chicken parm so much I ordered the platter which came with pasta and a side salad. Once again, both were very good, the salad was fresh and the vinaigrette was tasty. My husband had the hamburger and french fries, which he enjoyed very much also. It may be slightly expensive, but if you are going to NJMP, support the track purveyors! read more

Tried for hours to call. They have no direct line. Then emailed them, nothing back. I Facebook messaged them my question, again nothing, except this time I can tell they read my question. So, I again wrote back saying how terrible it is that no one can answer and I get a reply, how can I help you. Well, you could've answered my question is what I want to say. So I again asked the same question (are kids the same price as adults for Sunday brunch) again no answer and they read it. Terrible for customer service. read more

On a recent trip to the NJ motorsports raceway, we decided to grab a bite in the pub while waiting for the rain to stop and racing resume. There were about 7 people at the bar, and no other patrons in the entire place. Our party of 6 went into the dining room. The lobster Mac n cheese was delicious $15. Burgers looked yummy. The food was very good, BUT I would rate the service 3 on a scale of 1-10. There were at least 3 servers on, yet our server disappeared constantly and was always at the bar " hanging out" with the other servers. My daughter spilled water and an employee eating on break was the one to get us napkins. We were never asked for drink refills, if we needed anything else, or for desert. We had to ask each and every time by flagging her down, or asking another server as they passed by. After the water spill, my daughter asked for another (because it wasnt obvious) and for 5 minutes she watched it while it sat on the counter while we located our server to bring it over! Our server told us the kitchen put in our entrees before the appetizers, so we were served our entrees , .....then appetizers No apology, just finger pointing. When we asked for the check, instead of putting it in my extended hand, she put it on the table, as I was trying to take it from her. I suggest that the pub re- trains this particular server on customer "service" especially when she has NO OTHER TABLES. We don't mind this type of service if they're busy, but this was the worst service I've seen in a long time. Sorry.... The food WAS really good, so I gave the food 4 stars. read more
