Sunday night we took a ride down to Waretown. My girlfriend's daughter and her husband have just gone into contract on a new construction home . We figured we would go check out the area . We wondered on to Clemmy's the place was packed so we decided to have dinner we had the most amazing appetizers sourdough bread with Honey and whipped ricotta and a fantastic Ceasar salad we both tried the roasted chicken the sauce was delicious cooked to perfection paired with mashes and a side of spinach was amazing we were talking with the couple next to us they suggested if we had room to try the Granny's orange cake with vanilla ice cream and the vanilla budino the sticky toffee pudding, was out of this world. The caramel and hazelnuts on the vanilla custard were divine, while the coffee whipped cream on top of the sticky toffee pudding was just perfect. A Must-Try at Clemmy's! We had such an amazing dinner at Clemmy's Farm to Table! Everything was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. It's easy to see why this little gem has such a great reputation. (Wanderlog⁠) We started with the fresh ricotta, served warm with honey on sourdough bread and topped with pistachios. It was creamy, slightly sweet, and SO good! We also had the Caesar salad, which had such a fresh, lemony taste and was topped with finely grated cheese. Simple, fresh, and delicious. For my main course, I had the Prime New York Strip with sweet potatoes, Aji Amarillo, and queso fresco. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the flavors paired together beautifully. Hubby had the Yellowfin Tuna with zucchini fritters, lemon caper aioli, and olives. The tuna was incredibly fresh and delicious, and every bite was packed with flavor. And then came dessert... OMG! We had Grammy's Famous Orange Cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was toasted on top and finished with homemade whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Absolutely incredible! Wow! Absolutely blown away from start to finish. Service was perfect. Best restaurant I have been to in a long time. Started with the Caesar Salad that was smothered in fresh parmesan in a lemon caesar dressing. Roasted Chicken and Ahi Tuna for dinner. The place is cozy, dimly lit, but yet perfect for date nights or a family dinner. We arrived half hour after they opened and I'm glad we did because when we left there was a long wait outside. Went for a birthday dinner, and left very satisfied. I was lucky to find a spot with family with no reservations and arriving half an hour later from opening. After checking the menu online with its limited selection and seeing they open at 4pm I was very excited to try a new dining experience since I don't typically go out for dinner. It definitely gives a Combo of fine dining and a casual atmosphere. Small area for sit downs and bar seating available. The food was fantastic and delicious but definitely not world changing for me, but that won't change the rating. The service was great too. My wife and I went with another couple, who had recommended Clemmy's, which helped with our selections. I've been twice to Clemmy's - once with my parents and my brother (Spring 2025) and then on Father's Day (2025) with Mom and Dad. I don't want to say we're foodies, because that's a lame term. But we are. What's the new word for foodie? Scratching my chin... 1st time, my Dad and Bro (also lame, but appropriate here) got Tilefish. Mom got the bucatini and crab with Old Bay. I got a delicious risotto. I think I won! Mom's dish, I felt, was playing it safe, but she liked it, so all was well in the world. I thought there should be more crab. I still dont know why I didn't get 1 bite of tilefish, because we are a "sharing kind of family", but that's a discussion for another day... Oh! Our server, James, was lovely. And then our server Jacki was lovely. The ambiance is so young and fun. On Dad Day, the music was too loud for my parents, in their late 70s, but not for me. We'll just say I'm decades younger... Mom just took a hearing aid out, then it was fine. On Father's Day we did a better job of sharing. Mom had what she said were the best scallops she has ever had. And at 79, that's saying a lot. I agree. They were delicious, perfectly seared with a golden-brown crust. We had a yum tuna appetizer over sourdough with green olives, which was an unexpected combo, and delightful. Their caesar salad is fuckable. We asked for anchovies on it and both times the servers split it for us. Having worked in restaurants a lot, splitting plates can be a bit of a nightmare. But James and then Jacki were both accommodating. The desserts are to die for and I'm not a huge dessert girl. 1st meal the miso dessert wowed us. 2nd meal the Pavlova. Very long wait for main course which was very expensive (small portion of short rib 45.00). This is a MUST TRY! Clemmy's is one of a kind. This is our 3rd visit and I still am puzzled how lucky we are to have this gem so close to home! The ambiance is just simple, yet perfect. Tables are set with the most adorable little vases with hand painted clementines and filled with fresh flowers. Flat black utensils and linen napkins were suitable for the atmosphere... Rustic wooden stained tables inside and options to dine outside make it just perfect. Some tables and bar area are shared by other diners that certainly do not feel too close for comfort. A long table sits in the new dining area which accompanied two parties of 4 that seemed to enjoy each other's company without feeling crowded. The table is divided by fresh flowers in the center. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable who often recommend favorites and explain the menu to customers. They encourage you to dine again with a friendly farewell. We ordered 3 different appetizers; carrots, tomatoes and burrata, and the caesar salad. All were so flavorful that we savored each bite!! The Caesar salad is just our favorite with the lightly shredded parmigiana and a slight crunch on top. We waited about 20 minutes for a corner table but well worth the wait. Clemmys is BYOB. So could not decide benadryl everything on the menu sounded delicious. Our waitress Lupe was very helpful in explaining ingredients and providing recommendations. We decided on charred carrots which normally I would never think of ordering.
