Beef Wellington - no I didn't eat this too (read review)
    Alyssa J.

Expect to spend a lot of money here but it's worth EVERY penny. I also expect big name restaurants to be overhyped but everything I ate here was amazing. Just be warned and TMI if you have a sensitive stomach like me, don't eat all the things without expecting turbulence later LOL. Yet, I still have no regrets. Posting some photos but here's everything I ate/tasted that was delicious: lobster risotto, Caesar salad, chicken, mushrooms, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts. Okay yeah... now that I write this out, I ate a lot. And had the audacity to top it off with coffee and bites of my friend's chocolate cake and ice cream. I'd definitely go back for round 2, but perhaps more self control next time around.

Of course as a fan of Gordon Ramsey and the show, I had to see what it was about. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation or you will be waiting for a long time. When you walk down the steps you are greeted by the wall of winning chefs. As a fan, this was super cool! We were taken to our table and all around are televisions showing notable moments from the show. Loved it. The ambiance is intimate but you can most certainly go with a group. Dinner was amazing. I purposely ordered food that I've seen cooked on the show. I even tried oysters for the first time. I would definitely recommend visiting this spot!

We enjoyed ourselves. It was a change up from our usual visit to Ramsey Pub. The food was delicious however the service was just mediocre; we'll be back at the Pub next year. It is worth the experience though, so try it and the Smoky whiskey cocktail- amazing.

I was a little skeptical to try Hell's Kitchen I was worried it was all hype and wouldn't deliver but I was very wrong. Everything was amazing from the moment we approached the host stand until we left. The staff was so genuine, friendly, helpful and nice which gave the food a run for its money. The food was above and beyond, we watch Hell's Kitchen and always think everyone is just saying everything is so good but it really is! We started with the Lobster Risotto which was so creamy delicious and the lobster was cooked perfect! I got the crispy skin salmon with sticky rice and a curry sauce, best salmon dish I have ever have. We got the Brussels sprouts as a side and they were crispy with an amazing spice. My husband got the beef Wellington and loved it! We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and omggg drool worthy. It was my birthday celebration and they were cute and put a candle in the dessert. It was one of the best dinners I have ever had and would highly recommend 10/10!

A very unique atmosphere - you're walked down into the pit of a Hells Kitchen with the red and blue kitchen. Our waiter was top notch - Dylan we think. I had to try the beef Wellington of course, but my husband ordered the wagyu meatballs and beef short ribs. I ordered the carrot soup and we had the corn side. They are well oiled Machine and brought out our food faster than I thought. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable.

The ambience of the place is really nice. It shows all the seasons winners of the shows once you get into the dining area. The Lobster Risotto was amazing, best bite of the night. I personally didn't enjoy the Beef Wellington after being super hyped about it. The steak was a little chewy. Seared Scallops and Wagyu Meatballs were pretty good.

After smoking a Macanudo Hyde Park Cafe and swilling down a Blanton's or two I was on a good run in the high limit room and felt like some fancy grub. So, I went to HK. "Hey Foo, looking for a table? Or, sitting at the bar?" "Yes. Table. No bar for Foo tonight." "Let me bring you downstairs and get you a booth that's front and center." "Lead the way." Downstairs is fairly elegant with the open kitchen and its cool blue to hot red back wall. I was led to a nice booth and I slipped the hostess a little stack of grat. "Good to see you again Foo, your usual?" asked Jocelyn my fave server at HK. "Sure, you know Foo, knows what Foo likes and keeps Foo happy." "We always aim to please here at HK." "Then Jocelyn, why does the busboy Joseph always say goofy stuff? Like today he asked me if I wanted to see the menu. Don't he know Foo needs no menu?" "No, but I do because you are our A-1 best customer." "Foo loves to hear this so when's my Wellie coming?" "As soon as the puff is puffy enough for you. Puff pastry is the blanket for the beef. So Foo, when you ask where's the beef ..." "Foo says beef under puff pastry! Delish!" Then both Jocelyn and Foo laughed heartily at Foo's joke and then Foo handed over a nice stack of grat. "Xie Xie," said Jocelyn smirking with a little head bow.

Lobster Risotto was 5/5 no complaints extremely rich and flavorful risotto. Lobster was cooked to perfection!

The bar occasionally offers live music, but my favorite time to visit is during the holidays, when they turn it into a festive Christmas spot with holiday beverages. There are fun decorations, strands of lights, Home Alone 2 playing on the televisions, and much more to really get you in the holiday spirit. I most recently tried the Pomegranate Margarita on their seasonal menu and thought it was excellent; it was not too sweet or too weak. I should note that there are rarely servers in the lounge area, so you typically need to go up to the bar to place an order, which can disrupt the flow of fun you might be having. Overall, I think the 1927 Lounge is decent on a normal day, but much better when they have a themed takeover happening.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as soon as I walked in I noticed a male dancer up in the cage, followed by about 8 women in costume. The choreography was sexy yet very tasteful. They have acts that incorporate thrilling tricks that keep everyone on their toes. I could not help but take videos so I could show all of my friends and family back at home just how incredible it actually is. You will not be disappointed!

Also a great place to catch any sports games with TVs above the bar. Tried both the red and white sangrias that were steals! From the happy hour menu, we had the open faced empanada that was interesting to say the least. It lacked flavor and the best part was the orange. Off the regular menu, we got the patatas bravas and garlic shrimp. The potatoes needed more sauce as it was a bit dry, but the garlic shrimp was the absolute star of the show. We actually ordered a second one because of how good it was. The shrimp and garlic were fresh, the size was large, and even the bread paired really well with it. Ended with churros as a dessert that was an absolute disappointment. They were so stale, not crunchy, and just simply tasted like it was sitting around all day long.

While it has always been a bit on the expensive side, we enjoy the tapas style dining. Unfortunately, when we at there on 3/13/26 prior to seeing a show at Ocean the food was disappointing. The bacon wrapped dates which were always our favorite we not up to par. Tiny, missing the little pearl onions, overcooked, and no sauce, and the blue cheese all melted because it was put on too soon before serving. They have taken a few favorites off the menu so we had a hard time finding other things we liked. I had to ask for the tuna/cracker app that they usually serve free that arrives before the rest of the food. The Brussel sprouts were very good, the lamb meatballs were pretty much the same but the cheese/jam charcuterie was a joke. 2 tiny pieces of bread, 3 very thin slices of apple, a small dish of jam, and 2 pieces of cheese (could you spare it?) For what I would call a meal of snacks this cost over $65. Something is missing that used to be there (management?) The waitress was very nice and attentive at least

I go back once in a while for a special occasion. The servers and hostesses are all very friendly. There's a lot seating available. It has a subtle, low-lit atmosphere. You have to try their tuna crispy rice and shishito pepper appetizers! We get them every time and they are delicious! The wagyu tacos and lobster dumplings are delicious but not as filling. They run out of their uni often, so if they have any left for the night you definitely need to order some. They are pricy but are delivered fresh. They're always sweet and creamy every time. I love their toro hand roll and scallop hand roll. They have A5 Wagyu beef cooked at the table with a hot stone. It's priced per ounce and the cost can add up quickly, but it's a nice treat to try and share with others. The Chilean sea bass miso was rich and well seasoned. This is the best sushi place I've tried in AC so far!

Next are the Lobster Dumplings at $24 served with squash purse and nori butter. These are so decadent and will make you want to lick the bowl. I also love the Wagyu donburi bowl which is rice topped with braised short rib, onsen tamago, & jus. So rich and satisfying! The scallops $42 and short rib $55 are also very good but are a splurge. If you can get in on Thursday's or Sunday's from 5-6pm, they have a fantastic happy hour. I love that there's tons of variety with their discounted offerings. There are items for non sushi eaters & vegetarians too! I had the spicy Toro tempura roll for $20 and it was my favorite of everything I tried. The salmon crudo $12 was also very tasty with a good amount of salmon roe. The pork katsu sando $12 was pretty good, but it could've used more aioli. The gyudon & unagi don $10 each are both mini rice bowls that were very flavorful with tender pieces of beef (gyudon) or eel. For a drink, I had the Kuro Mule $12 & it was so refreshing & balanced with yuzu and ginger beer. Getting seated took some time despite having a reservation, but overall the service was great and the ambiance is modern & upscale which is perfect for a night out on the town.
