[[HIGHLIGHT]]An amazing Steakhouse inside the gorgeous Ocean Resort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This Steakhouse falls right in line with the big boys.. Morton's, Capital Grille, even Mastro's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is located in the front as soon as you pass the hostess stand and is giving sexy vibes with cool music playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with pre-dinner drinks as usual and our bartender was super friendly and made our drinks to perfection! The hostess came and got us once our table was ready. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were a bit surprised how crowded this high end Steakhouse was since it was a freezing cold random February weekend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even with that, service was great. Everything came out in a timely manner except for the crab cake, which was a few minutes behind. The food was freakin delicious! We went with the bone-in Ribeye, Chilean Sea Bass, crab cake, and my hefty portion of lamb chops, which had me smiling until I couldn't eat anymore... Lol! And of course the loaded lobster mac that could have literally been a meal all on its own! Our server was engaging and had a cool demeanor and kept us engaged. We'll definitely be back sometime this Spring/Summer, since we had such a good time in AC. So Ocean Steak, here we come!!!

My birthday weekend started with Dinner at Ocean Steak in AC. What a treat! We had reservations but still had to wait. I will admit they were busy. Service, they are a fine dining establishment. Get up from the table and your server is making your cloth napkin pretty for your return to the table. No manager presence this evening so that was off from a typical fine dining experience. Dishes were brought to the party at different times. One of our party waited at least 5 minutes for her food and so she just watched us eat because well, we dug right in! A few misses but a wonderful night! Food was delicious! Let's get Into It! Caesar Salad - Exceeded Expectations Lobster Mac - Exceeded Expectations and this lobster Mac probably had a whole lobster in our dish! Worth every penny! No cheating on the lobster at this place. Chilean Seabass - Delicious! I ate it all! That's something I never do! Exceeded expectations! Lamb Chops - Excellent- Exceeded expectations. Drinks - Delicious reasonably priced too! Would recommend and return!

Visited for happy hour on 10/28. Seated in the lounge area since the bar was full. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Didn't catch her name but she had a slicked back long ponytail. I ordered a gin and tonic and hubby had a "Hey Jealousy." Both were good but hubby's drink was very good! To eat, we ordered the sliders, truffle fries, chicken and wontons. Everything was pretty good. The sliders were a bit dry. We paid $100 for 2 drinks a piece and 4 appetizers. I thought the price was reasonable.

Very good experience at Ocean Steak. We had an apps meal. French Onion Soup, Wagyu Meatball (which was huge), baked potato and a Wedge Salad. We weren't a fan of the French Onion Soup, it had an overwhelming Rosemary flavor to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that everything else including the service and atmosphere was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was good. It wasn't exceptional and probably not worth the price. The service was amazing. I love the presentation of every dish they brought. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was lovely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a big selection of food. The chicken franchise had too much sauce on it, which made potatoes very soggy. The brussels sprouts were not very crispy and the crabcake was a little fishy, you can tell there were no breadcrumbs which I liked, but it needed a spicier aïoli. The scallops were just OK.

Remy Martin- 1738 neat of course!

We had a reservation but really prefer the bar, which luckily we were able to get 3 seats as a group was heading out. Taylor and her co workers were all great! Social, fun, professional and we of course loved our drinks. We had two surf and turfs and one lobster tail. Everything was great and we'll definitely be back!

This was my first visit to this establishment. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night however it was a holiday weekend. Yet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience was nice. Very much in Xmas holiday spirit. Beautiful Decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And staff was super pleasant and helpful. Food was beyond amazing. Max and cheese. Huge serving and perfect - cheesy and flavorful. Mushrooms absolutely delicious. Salad great. Shrimp was not grilled as i expected but very good. Crab cakes full of crab meat and not all that filler. I cannot wait to come back I also ordered spinach but they forgot it which was fine. I really did have enough. Great place !

I love trying happy hours when I am in different places. I was looking for a Friday night happy hour in Atlantic City and I decided to go to Ocean Steak. If you don't pay attention to the signs on the casino floor, this venue can be hard to find. When I arrived, I sat at the bar. There is a great view of the boardwalk depending on where you sit. You can also sit at the tables by the bar and enjoy happy hour. I ordered the red wine of the day; it was a Pinot Noir. For the food happy hour choices, I ordered the crab wontons, waffle fries, gochujang wings, and smash burger tacos. The crab wontons were okay. I wish they were pan fried a bit more. When someone else's order came out. It was pan fried the way I would've preferred mine. The wings were delicious and cooked crispy as requested. The sauce on the wings were amazing. The smash burger tacos were burgers in tacos opposed to bread. The sauce in the tacos were delicious. Overall, the service was great. Craig was my bartender and he was amazing.

We visited this Ocean Casino Steak house since we were watching a show. I'm so glad we did as the food and service was amazing. The Mac and cheese portion was huge. Steak was perfectly cooked. The salmon was tasty. We will be back

Overall this place is absolutely beautiful inside and the service was phenomenal. Definitely got the "fine dining" experience. The rack of lamb was delicious and seasoned to perfection. I ordered it medium well, but I'm almost certain it was medium. The baked Mac and cheese was yummy; very cheesy and flavorful. My mom enjoyed her chicken, but she said there was nothing special about it. The Brussel sprouts unfortunately were too salty. I understand adding balsamic dressing, but once you add the bacon AND the peppers, it takes away from the genuine taste of the Brussel. The drinks were okay, I would have liked mine a little stronger. Overall, great place, I would come back.

One of the best steak dinners I've ever had! From start to finish, the bread and butter, wedge salad, dinner itself and birthday dessert was unreal! Laurel was a fantastic server! She checked in periodically, offered meal suggestions and was very kind. The food came out quick and all of the meat was cooked exactly how we ordered. There are floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The lighting is dimmed offering a "classy" ambiance. Great way to celebrate my birthday!

After that we tried the Maine and Manhattan Chowders. Both were super yummy and had a great taste and a good amount of clams.... another thing I had never tried before... WORTH IT. Then came the main course. I got the Flounder and Crab while my boyfriend got the Brazino. Both were so delicious and so light and yummy. I honestly can't say one thing i did not like about the food at this place. It was all so good. To finish off dinner, we got the Creme Brulee and an English Coffee to share. Again AMAZING. We sat at the bar, which had a dark and moody ambience, and was quite busy on this Saturday evening. The cocktail menu was very interesting, and included whiskey cocktails made using Rabbit Hole bourbon. I tried "Death and Taxes" - bourbon, lemon, peach syrup, and Fernet Branca. It was well-balanced with just the right amount of fernet. We also tried the "New Old-Fashioned" - an OF riff using anejo tequila, vanilla bitters, chocolate bitters - and a couple of Luxardo cherries. It was excellent! Vic and Anthony's has a nice menu of 2 oz. whiskey pours at fair prices. I opted for Baker's over a large rock. In the food department, we enjoyed a jumbo shrimp cocktail. Four big, meaty, and well-chilled shrimp with sides of spicy cocktail sauce and a balsamic concoction. Our server was bartender Lindsay. She was friendly, kind, efficient - and importantly, mixed delicious drinks. Thanks Lindsay! We look forward to returning for a proper steak dinner.

When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was lovely, and the hostesses were great. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Edward, who gave us some time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted to drink. About five minutes later, he came back for our drink order, and approximately 10 minutes after that, he took our dinner order. None of us ordered appetizers, but our dinner still took over an hour to arrive. We ordered three steaks, two sides, and one crab cake. What made the wait even more frustrating was that the table next to us, which was seated after us, received their dinner before we did. When we asked about the status of our food, we were told that "good food takes time." At that point, we had already been waiting approximately 30 minutes. Rather than an apology or an indication that the food would be out soon, that was the response we received. We waited another 30 minutes before being told that the food would be out shortly. To their credit, it did come out shortly after that. Unfortunately, all three of us ordered our steaks medium rare, and all three came out medium. We considered sending them back, but after watching another table send a steak back and seeing how long it took to come back out, we decided against it. We watched the man at that table sit there while all of his friends ate their steaks, which made us even less inclined to send ours back. We did order dessert, and interestingly, that came out immediately. To the restaurant's credit, the manager took one round of drinks and the dessert off our bill, which we appreciated. However, given that we have been coming here consistently for years, we were very disappointed with this particular meal. We will give Vic & Anthony's another try because of our past experiences, but this visit was not impressive. The service was slow and the preparation of the steaks was not what we ordered. Hopefully, this was just a very off night.

I recognize menus change, but I'm guessing the chef changed as well. So many items are called the same name as they were on the previous menu yet they are not same, like a shadow of its predecessor. I will say the cowboy steak was amazingly prepared and delicious. If I was reviewing that alone it'd be a 5 star review. Our waitress was nice but I definitely got the feeling of disappointment when we didn't order appetizers, we prefer to order extra sides and drinks which more than make up that in the end. Just some people don't and it sucks to feel like you're not a table worth waiting on. The saddest experience was the dessert. The sticky toffee dessert was my favorite thing in the world. It was fabulous. It's still on the menu, but it is not the same dessert by any stretch of the imagination. It now tastes like someone cut the bran muffin in half and poured some sugary sweetness on it and then served it with clotted cream that was not tasty. It used to be a tiny dessert that came with ice cream. It was so rich and was beyond delicious. It is actually a challenging dessert to make, so I'm guessing they've changed to this new version to save time but honestly they should just take it off the menu if you're not going to do it properly. If that plate was served on Top Chef and they would've crucified the chef as it looked and tasted horrible. I'm sure we will go again in the future but I left with a tinge of sadness that they changed a historic restaurant so much.

We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. An empty parking lot and only two diners in a large dining area is never a good sign but the server was "friendly" (Fitting for a location that once housed a Friendly's ice cream restaurant.). There were no signs of the former occupant and the dining area is very appealing with a sense of being upscale, which conflicted with my hopes of a reasonably priced lunch menu. In fact there is no lunch menu and the prices sort of jump at your eyes because they are so much more appropriate for an evening out. Perhaps the empty dining room fills up with patrons later in the day. So, I went with Pho. Flank steak, vermicelli rice noodles, and please all the veggies (Why ask?). My very sufficient bowl arrived quickly with the side plate of Thai basil, lime, and bean sprouts. I went looking for the bottles of hoisin and sriccha but my server pointed to the small white bowl with red and brown colors ... ahh no bottles, which at first I was disappointed in not having them accessible to me but this is upscale dining and those table bottled always have a sense of community to them. I asked for more sriccha and it was delivered. The beef pho base was good the flank steak arrived cooked rather than rare and my lunch satisfied me except I was hoping for something more or different and closer to street food because it was lunch time Heck the server on a sunny day was friendly and you can't go wrong with that
