OMG had a horrible time this evening! We got sited next to a screaming but I mean screaming baby for a good 35 minutes!!! So inconsiderate of those parents! They should have taken some action by one of them stepping outside with their child!!!! It was horrible experience! And food took a long time. I had the Finch dip, the meat was tender, the bread roll was soft. Not super flavorful, but still good 8/10. The pot stickers were good, 7/10. I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and finally tried it out for brunch. Located on Clinton Keith in Wildomar, you'll find Finch perched on the corner of a small strip mall. It offers both indoor and outdoor casual dining for small and large groups. There's an open parking lot right outside. We were seated within a minute of walking in on an early Sunday afternoon. We had the Brussels to start with and then shared the Chicken & Waffle. The Brussels are a house staple. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection. I think the only thing that could make it better is bacon/pancetta. The chicken was nicely seasoned, and I liked that it was boneless, which makes for an easy meal to eat. I feel like the waffle was very basic, and it was a little too soft, in my opinion. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks, but they do offer them, and they have a full bar. I would come again, but I feel like the Chicken & Waffle and some of the other menu offerings are overpriced for what it is. The food tasted great, and the ambiance is very lively. We had Crissy as our server. What a great and cheerful person. She was exceptionally good! The only thing I could say is I wish the Cooks would Read the orders. As in details like Crispy Bacon instead of coming out limp and just cooked. Also the English muffins cooked instead of soft and Not toasted. Finding vegan food in Murrieta is always a challenge. I feel like I'm in the South when it comes to eating in this City. Fortunately we found that Finch had a vegan option so we went there with a friend that lives nearby. We were seated promptly and our server was attentive. The decor is cute and has several Instagramable features if that's your thing, including cute phrases, neon lights, wallpaper and other decor for a snapshot. There was one option on the menu, called The Vegan Bowl. The menu marks things as GF for gluten free, V for vegetarian and N for contains nuts. The Vegan Bowl was marked as V, so we had to ask of that meant it was only vegetarian or was really vegan. You can't trust the name of something when ordering. Our server confirmed it was vegan. Our friend is lactose intolerant and got the burger with modifications; the server returned to inform her that the chef had let her know that the brioche bun it's served on has butter, so they left that off and lettuce wrapped it instead. That was nice of them to be on their game for that. There also was hummus that was marked V, but we didn't order that so I don't know if it is also vegan and not just vegetarian. But those were the only substantial, potentially vegan options. We have been coming here for years and enjoyed it but tonight the service was the worst ever. Had a server named Alexa. She was never around and all table she was serving weee complaining. Very rude, food sat at window until we had to beg her to get it. Drinks were watered down due to sitting at bar so long before we got them. No manager there to talk to. She kept leaving into the back and never coming back. She was horrible. Probably the worst server we've ever encountered. Will say good was good as always but this server ruined our entire evening and every other table she was serving as we were there. read more

We were really expecting something different! We came here after church due to seeing Finch posts on IG, and it looked very cute and so promising. We made reservations, and the venue itself is really well decorated. It reminds me of a blend between Alice and Wonderland meets Edgar Allen Poe. It's fun. The inside space is split in the middle with the right side having a higher elevation to the bar/bar top eating area, and the lower left side for main floor dining. They showcase "garage" style glass doors that open to the patio, but we didn't end up outside as it was freezing that day. The other tables are seated on a wooden bench that's fairly deep, but no cushions below. Just a myriad of fluffy pillows behind. If you're not naturally gifted with a plushy bum then it's rather uncomfortable, even on the other wide with wooden chairs, it's not a restaurant that I'd prefer enjoy for extended time. We started with a cinnamon roll, it was cold and dry as hell. Lots of room for improvement there. My husband got the breakfast burrito, which they serve with a roasted jalapeno on top! YUMMO. We got an extra spicy one! The burrito itself was OK, a bit dry, and overly packed with potatoes. I opt'd for the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to my liking of medium rare, which was a plus since it was such a thin steak. They serve a chimmichurri sauce on the top, which was great on it's own, but the steak was seasoned well enough that it stood on its own. This dish also came with potatoes, which have a huge potential if they were to crisp up the potatoes more, otherwise you're left with partially potato mush and mashed potatoes. read more

The spicy tuna could've used the smallest pieces of jalapeño because the sizes were too big. What gets them the 4 star which actually was a 5 star service was because of Lauren. Her service, care, attentiveness, and dedication to great hospitality is the reason for the 4 stars. The vibes are cool. It was lunch time so the music was alright. My wife and I were visiting a friend in Murrieta and he asked us to come here. He is one of our favorite wine snob friends [and I mean that in the best possible way because he has taught and introduced us to a lot of great wines] so I was surprised when he ordered a cocktail. The Honey Gunpowder. Suggested we both try BUT I saw the Old Pecan, a pecan infused Old Fashion and I knew I had to try that. I got to taste my wife's drink and she tried my old fashion and we could not decide which was better. Seriously can't go wrong with either one. We also ordered a couple of appetizers: The Margarite pizza and the steak fries were both really good. This place is really nice and a great place to meet with friends or meet new friends. Walked in as this was my first time here and the place looked super cool. There so many things to look at and if I looked at every little detail I would've not gotten to eat. The bathroom is in the back with a code and very clean. The servers were nice and polite and attended to our needs at the table in a timely manner. I had the sandwich and it was good. I was nervous because my friends said there will probably be a lot of olives in the sandwich cause that's how it is in the south. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot and your couldn't tell. The curry that my wife had was real interesting with honey. She asked for extra curry on the side. I tried it and it was good but I think if the curry sauce had a little more curry/spice to it, it would be great with that honey. He made some excellent recommendations, and they were spot on. Wife and I loved our drinks. Honey & Gunpowder was sweet and refreshing with a slight kick. It's quite a busy concoction made with Tito's vodka, pineapple juice, orange juice, Giffard Apricot, honey, cinnamon, and Serrano chili. Bee Keeper was even better. It wasn't too sweet, despite the name. I thought it was a very well balanced drink with just the right amount of sweetness. It's made with bourbon, Amaro Montenegro, lemon juice, egg white, and cabernet. Benedict was one of the best I had. It has the traditional hollandaise sauce, but this place also adds bacon jam and guacamole, which puts it over the edge. Chicken & Waffles was perfect. Waffle was fluffy and flavorful. Chicken was topped with house made gravy, which was quite tasty. This was my first time in Wildomar, and won't be the last, thanks to this place. Now I'm curious what else this city has to offer.
