I called around to several storage facilities looking for a place to stash some items cheap and this was definitely the least expenseve place I found, also close and convenient to my home base when I'm in AZ. For a small space, all I needed, it was only $20/mo. Not only that but the lady I dealt with at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. They are low tech, be aware, to keep down the costs. They don't take credit cards and you can't pay online. So I just mail them a $20 bill every month with a SASE envelope so they can mail me a receipt and I have never had a problem. When it came to finding temporary accommodations for some furniture and boxes, Fiesta Bargain Storage (FBS) fit our requirements exactly. My wife and I are listing our house in the next few months and our realtor insisted that we needed to clear out some of our personal effects for the open-house. We were willing to forgo an air conditioned facility in order to save some extra money on monthly expenses. Even though the storage units get warm in the summer, I've never felt too concerned about heat damage to our items. FBS was also the most inexpensive of the locations we researched, yet never seemed to sacrifice appearance or customer service. Several benefits of FBS include: - Very clean facility with attractive coloring. Their overall branding is quite pretty and well manicured. I think that says a lot about the attention to detail by management. -Easy access. I can usually swing by to drop off boxes during a lunch break. Because it's an outdoor facility, there are no elevators to navigate. -Price. FBS is clearly one of the most competitive in the area in terms of pricing. I feel comfortable driving on property with my personal pass-code. Also, the manager (Dean) actually *lives* on premises. His apartment is connected to the main office. Rented a unit under the assumption that your things are secure , they have signs posted everywhere on the site for video surveillance , our unit was broken into May 5 2020 . They stole multiple personal items and trashed our unit in the process. No one saw or heard a thing . Dean called to say our lock was missing and when I got there I could see our things were trashed . Called the Mesa police and after looking at everything asked if there was security video and we were told there was no dvr !!!! False False False security !!!! If your renting there now get out !!!! Your storing your things and putting your trust in false security . We would hate to see someone else go through losing sentimental and personal belongings !! Can't say it enough !!!! Dean worked quickly wth me to get my things moved in and has been very flexible and supportive to make sure all my needs were met. Quit calling other places and just rent storage here . . . you will not find a better price and the facilities are safe and secure. Access is through keypad and automatic gate. Gate access hours are reasonable. The units are the standard roll-up metal doors which take padlocks or disc locks. They even give you a brand new disc lock when you rent from them. Plus, there are great deals if you plan on staying for several months, making the monthly net rental price super cheap - even on the big units. The paved isles are wide enough to get a 26' moving truck in and out fairly easily. You can pull right up to 90% of the units which are clean and in good repair. I never once questioned the safety or security of my stuff; even given the neighborhood surrounding, which is predominantly industrial and businesses. Staff is super nice and helpful. I really cannot say anything bad about Fiesta Bargain Storage. It is truly a bargain for what you get and fits the bill to keep your stuff, off-site, accessible and safe. The manager was extremely helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. The pricing is extremely affordable, more so than any other place I checked. No insurance required for the unit I rented, and I even got a free lock for my unit. The roads inside the facility are wide, and the unit I rented is easy to access my unit. RightSpace storage was called Fiesta Storage when I first stored my stuff there at the beginning of December 2017, and it still gets two stars because the staff members are great, especially the manager, Dean. However, the unit I put my stuff in had gaps between the top of the cavity brick wall and the roof and I had severe water damage to my belongings as a result of the monsoon storms this past summer. I lost hundreds of books, DVDs, CDs, and worst of all a box containing 30 years' worth of cards, letters, and photos, a real heart-breaker. A few months after I moved in the storage space was bought out by RightSpace, who started requiring tenants to buy insurance, which I duly did and so I was careful to take photos of all of the damage and submit them to the insurer, CornerStone. But now the insurer is going out of their way to try and weasel out of the claim. Just a couple of days ago I got a form that requires me to locate receipts or print out Internet pages for every lost item (that's 250 pages for the books alone, even if I could remember all of the titles). The idea seems to be to make the process so onerous that you abandon the claim. So again, great staff, but the units are poorly built and if your stuff is damaged the insurer is probably not going to pay out. Avoid the heartbreak and loss and find an indoor space that is properly protected from storms. read more

So far so good, we rented today from Bargain Storage. Dean the manager was very professional, nice and polite. The units were clean and looked secure. I got a decent rate (and a free lock) with the free months special. The pictures with the blue paint are the most recent; Dean said the place had been renovated since new ownership took over. Hours are decent for entrance to your storage unit, until 10pm. But darn it I can't live in my storage unit; that is one of the policies there, so don't expect to cook in your unit. I would check them out if you are in the neighborhood for large storage rooms at decent (under going rates at most places) prices when you factor in the free months you can get depending on how much you want to pay up front. We paid for the rest of the month and got two months free. We could have paid for the rest of the month and two months up front and would have received three months free; we took the two months free option because it was only $47 (to move in) for the rest of the month and then the two extra months. BTW we rented a 10x15 unit. read more

Dean Z., the on-site manager at this location, is truly the main reason that I continue to try and make my storage needs work with this company, thru some of their 'growing pains' and issues that I have had to suffer through/deal with (unresolved to date even!) at some of their other facilities in the metro phoenix area. Dean is friendly, funny, efficient and knows this business and his facility. He has tried to make my bad experiences with his corporation a thing of the past and has gone the extra mile to try and keep me as a customer as much as he has the authority to do so. He actually FOLLOWS UP with his customers!** **(Can't say that for some other managers and even district managers in the organization I have had to deal with b4 Dean. Their motto seems to be 'If the customer doesn't push the issue and keep calling us to complain about it, then don't be a proactive storage manager and maybe exceed customer expectations and actually try to solve their problems.....push it under the rug and hope it and they go away'!!
