Crab legs, crawfish

We LOVED this place!! We were on a mission to find all the dog friendly places and this place did not disappoint. You can sit inside or outside with pups. We sat outside but it got chilly, so they quickly let us go inside. An older couple was annoyed that we had dogs and so the staff moved them to another table and apologized to US! As an owner with well behaved dogs I am always so appreciative to be felt like we aren't doing anything wrong. I even told them we can go back outside and they said absolutely not, you're not the problem!! Thank you guys! Now the food!! Also so good, I definitely got my mud bug fix here :) I highly recommend this place!

Fiddlers is on the riverfront. We were trying to kill time waiting for our riverboat so we hopped in here. We sat out on the upper deck. Ordered the gator bites which were yummy. Nice fried outer crust and now we can say we've had alligator tail. Rock crab claws were offered and I'm always up for some crab. Never tried this kind before. You have to hit them with a spoon to break the shell. It is so hard. (Hence..the name rock!) the waiter had to show me how. Very tasty meat inside. Wish they would give you a seafood pick to get it out easier. I also had a few steamed clams. You order them by the single. 2.50 each. ( I've never done that before. I'm from the PNW and we get the by the lb). We enjoyed our lunch very much

We met with some unfortunate and unexpected hurricane weather on our trip to Savannah. Being from the south I wanted to show my Oregon companion what southern hospitality was really like, Fiddlers lived up to expectations. They welcomed us in from the rain with no reservation , were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed libations along with a few choice appetizers and had a delightful time. The oysters were very fresh and tasty, being a wine drinker I never thought ice cold beer could be so satisfying but they proved that correct, and the gator bites were a wonderfully delightful surprise! We can't wait to visit again and try more items on the menu and enjoy more of the wonderful views from their terrace seating.

Fiddler's is a classic restaurant near the Riverwalk in Savannah and I was excited to try it. When we first walked in we were greeted right away and made to feel very welcome which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately things kind of went downhill after that. Our waitress took quite a while to refill our waters and the service felt a little slow overall. I ordered the mahi tacos and they came out cold like they may have been prepared too early and sat while the rest of our party's food was being finished. We did have a group of 8 so maybe that played a part but it was still disappointing. The mahi tacos were okay 5.8/10.

This place was cute- i wish we got a table upstairs so we could look out to the river. Basic fried food, everything tasted the same. It was decent but my favorite were the gator bites and crab dip.

We were seated immediately outside and it was a fabulous view. The night was beautiful and the atmosphere was amazing. For apps we got oysters on the half shell that were delicious, the blue crab quesadillas and steamed crawfish. For main entrees we got the seafood platter and the low country boil. All the food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. For dessert we got the key lime pie and the peach cobbler both are delicious!! A great place to go and enjoy the evening in River street.

My parents and I stopped into Fiddlers Crab House looking for some good seafood meals as we were staying at a nearby hotel. Upon walking in we noticed that they had reserve signs on just about ever table and basically the only thing open was the bar. Fortunately a waitress quickly came over and yanked a sign off a table we were near and she said we could sit. She came back with menus and took our drink order. We noticed others were coming in looking at the reserved signs and seemed confused like us but they were all assured they could go ahead and sit as well. It took a little while for our drinks to arrive and our waitress to come back but I think it was due to an influx of guests and maybe not enough staff at the time. Being from Maryland we love anything to do with blue crab and find it hard to get good crab cakes or crab items outside of Maryland. So when we saw Fried Blue Crab claw appetizer we had to try it. Unfortunately we were let down again. These were the tiniest claws I have ever seen. My Shrimp Po'boy was good. The shrimp were delicious and the roll was tasty. Mom enjoyed her fried oysters and shrimp but dad gambled and lost on the crab stuffed flounder. He said he couldn't taste any crab. Overall it's a nice little spot to grab a meal.

Fiddler's is located on the riverfront/River Street. We came for lunch around 1:30, and were seated immediately. Balcony seating is available but it was a 15 minute wait and we didn't care if we ate inside or out. The decor is seafood and sailor oriented. The bricks walls showed the age of the building, which was cool. The sweet tea was good. We ordered gator bites for our appetizer. They were delicious, the breading was really tasty and the dipping sauce was so good. For our entrees, my husband got a shrimp po'boy with fries, and I got a crabcake sandwich with potato salad. We tried each other's sandwiches and we both really liked both of them. The potato salad was creamy and flavorful. I would highly recommend Fiddler's for a riverfront lunch!

I was looking for some good seafood went in the south. This place had a welcoming hostess outside with a five dollar coupon. The menu looked pretty good so I thought why not. The crab legs were 1 pound for marketplace, which was $50. I thought that was a little steep as you can get a seafood boil for much less but this is a tourist town. I must say the crab legs or some of the best, sweetest and non-fishy smell I've had in a long time. The bartender took our order, even though all of the tables were closed, and they only had outdoor and upper deck Seating. The special was red snapper, and it was pretty good. The calamari was kind of small and very thinly sliced didn't taste much like calamari at all. The dessert however, knocked it out of the park.

Chowder was also awesome. Oysters were delicious. Right on the river. Nice views also...

You start out with a choice of bread, followed by lettuce, tomato, and French dressing, bacon and cheese. Minus the bacon and cheese of course course the sandwich was actually quite good. You get a very nice piece of salmon cooked the way you want it and it did not have that fishy taste or smell. You also get a choice of sides unfortunately they forgot to include my potato salad side. To kick off the lunch, I went with their clam chowder with potato. This was pretty good with a good amount of clams, but it was a tad on the salty side.

The dish was phenomenal: plump shrimp and savory andouille sausage were sautéed with sweet red peppers in a rich Cajun spice butter sauce, all served over creamy cheddar cheese grits. The flavors were expertly balanced and incredibly satisfying, easily one of the best versions of this Southern classic I've had.

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

The food was absolutely worthless. Seriously, McDonald's is better than this in every way. Photos to prov The ketchup bottle? Disgusting looking. They definitely refill these "do not refill" bottles. The hash browns? Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? Probably leftover from a local prison. The pancakes? I wonder if they were microwaved. I wouldn't go back if someone offered me free food. DO NOT GO HERE. Look at the photos and trust me.
