Arrow sent a repairman out and a part had to be ordered. They expedited the ordering process and sent out a loaner refrigerator in the meantime. But, in the meantime, I had lost all of my food and I was getting ready to host my family for Thanksgiving, I was not happy! The repairman came out and installed the new part but the refrigerator still didn't work. So they told me to just come in and pick out another refrigerator. I didn't see anything that I liked or that I felt would compare to the one I purchased, except one amazing, way over my budget, Samsung model! Carol hesitated to make the exchange but I reminded her of the inconvenience I had experienced as well as all the food I'd lost just days before Thanksgiving. Carol finally agreed to give me the Samsung model and delivered it just 2 days later; so far so good. I am extremely impressed with the awesome customer service I received and their willingness to go above and beyond to help. Things could have been so different had I purchased from a big box store; I'm sure they would not have worked so closely with me. Carol took all my calls, returned calls and made me a priority. I highly recommend Arrow Appliances. Thank you Carol and I'll definitely be back.

The lights don't even work in there. You have to take a flashlight just to go around and shop. This was the worst experience I've had at the store considering I've been going here for years now it's gone downhill. Don't know why they moved all the merchandise around now. It makes it harder for me to find the stuff I need on a daily basis. Don't know why they made these changes. If it ain't broke don't fix it does not make any sense the store looked amazing the way it was now everything moved around and shuffled up. It's like a maze going through there trying to find my stuff. Don't like it think I'm gonna stick to Van Damme going forward and Shop over there. Amazing no changes everything easy you order the stuff at the register and then load your truck up around the corner in the back parking lot minimal stress and struggle. I used to like coming here cause I knew where everything was but ever since everything got moved I don't think I am coming back and on top of it lights don't work and they've been like that for a couple of days.

For an hour or so I had searched online sites for several of those components to no avail. I called Karl's Hardware without great hope (thinking, "How would a smaller, local store compete with the bigs regarding product availability."), and boy was I wrong. They had nearly everything per my "wish list" and beyond that offered better variety (e.g., in lengths of electrical wiring) than the big stores. Even still, while I was indeed amazed with the inventory, that wasn't the best part. It was Aubern that took my initial call and met me in person as I arrived. She very proactively found almost everything with a problem-solving-can-do spirit. She located items quickly, coordinated with other staff to confirm specs, found alternatives for the rare item or two that wasn't in stock, and helped me find my most cost-effective bundle of parts when all was said & done. Had a customer see my frustration and told me that he knew where the hook was that I was looking for. As we both turned around to walk away, this Idget interrupted us by saying that he was the employee and he was helping me, which he wasn't! About two months ago, I was in the store and had some issues getting the right product, twice the…read moreproduct on the shelf had been used previously and was missing things/damage, to the point that I went to Home Depot 30+ miles away rather than deal with Ace. The next day I go into Ace for my refund and they never processed it in their system so I had to file a grievance with my credit card. Pain in the butt, but it is what it is... Today I go into Ace because I need to repair a bathroom sink and drain. I also went in to get a new door knob for our front door. The front door knob was used and put back on the shelf and was damaged by the previous owner so the lock mechanism was pushed out of the door knob and broken completely. The drain and drain extension that I purchased had some sort of Vaseline or caulk adhesive type coating on it, in the packaging and I assume from another previous user who returned the product. I go to the counter and I tell the lady These two items seem used and didn't work so I need to return them. I told her and showed that the door knob was broken and somebody returned it. I need to replace it. She examined the items while I went and got a door knob that was not broken or previously opened and a sink drain that was not previously opened and that was the right size for my needs.... Measure twice next time... lol I get back up to the counter and the lady tells me that they can't accept my returns. This is an hour and a half after I purchased them the same day, same cashier... I looked at her incredulously saying this is how I received them. They didn't work. I need to return them. She says she'll talk to her manager, and the manager says we're not going to accept the return. I told the lady that's fine, this isn't the first time you guys have done this, I'm just gonna place a review, argue it with my credit card company and make sure as many people as I can possibly find know how this store treats its customers. I also asked the lady to write refused return or something similar on the receipt so it is documented and took a photo so it is time to stamped. So yeah... If you don't wanna have your money stolen from you, be sold damaged and used product, refuse the ability to return your product when you have a receipt and it's even the same cashier at the register, take the time to drive the 30 extra miles to the big box store rather than support your local economy because this is what they do to locals. I have reported their business practices to the Ace Hardware corporate office as well as the state Attorney General's office. Anybody who's had a similar experience as I have, I strongly recommend you do the same.

Being tired of buying big box store appliances that would break every year, we researched and…read moredecided to purchase a Speed Queen washer. Authentic Appliance was the only place in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale/Lancaster CA) area. This was the first time that I had known or entered this business. The show room was a lot larger than I expected. The co-owner was very nice and professional. She greeted me right away and asked if she could show me any particular appliance. I told her our situation and she showed me all of the Speed Queen washing machines and the history of the Speed Queen. She made sure exactly what I wanted and expected from this type of washing machine. I had lots of questions and she answered all of them, and she did so by not making me feel like she was rushing me. I also discovered in our conversation that she and her husband own the store. And she does the sales portion and ordering and her husband handles the deliveries and the repairs. Then added that he does not have to do hardly any ever repairs with the Speed Queen brands, and that they own a Speed Queen as well. I liked that she didn't shy away from the "I wish it had this" or "it could improve on this" responses to me. I loved her honesty! I of course I purchased our very first Speed Queen washer. And we absolutely LOVE it. I wanted to wait at least 6 months or 1 year before making a response. I wanted to make sure that I was still happy with our purchase. We plan on moving away from the Antelope Valley. Now we wonder if we will sense our Grandkids are here. So, if we do decide to stay here or move to a better area in the AV, we will 100% buy ALL of our appliances from Authentic Appliances. And we will be needing to make that decision very soon. If we stay, we will be buying a new dryer, new refrigerator, oven/stove very soon. And once our big box dish washer breaks, we will be buying all of these from Authentic Appliance! Oh, I forgot to mention.... he delivered and set up our new washer as soon as it came in from Speed Queen. It was on back order because folks are like us, fed up with these big box crappy appliances. This machine is worth the extra cost!!!!!!!! Do not go cheap on this appliance. You will be so happy buying one of these machines.
