For an hour or so I had searched online sites for several of those components to no avail. I called Karl's Hardware without great hope (thinking, "How would a smaller, local store compete with the bigs regarding product availability."), and boy was I wrong. They had nearly everything per my "wish list" and beyond that offered better variety (e.g., in lengths of electrical wiring) than the big stores. Even still, while I was indeed amazed with the inventory, that wasn't the best part. It was Aubern that took my initial call and met me in person as I arrived. She very proactively found almost everything with a problem-solving-can-do spirit. She located items quickly, coordinated with other staff to confirm specs, found alternatives for the rare item or two that wasn't in stock, and helped me find my most cost-effective bundle of parts when all was said & done. Karl's is a truly excellent hardware store with great staff and selection!

I just spent 15 minutes in Karl's with the most UNIFORMED, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON for a hardware store! If he was a younger kid, it would be excusable, a middle aged man, pathetic! Had a customer see my frustration and told me that he knew where the hook was that I was looking for. As we both turned around to walk away, this Idget interrupted us by saying that he was the employee and he was helping me, which he wasn't! Frustrated, I made the comment that it would be faster and cheaper for me to go into Lancaster and actual find what I was looking for and I walked out!

I truly do not have enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for Tonjia at Tuff Shed…read more From the very first conversation she was warm, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. She walked me thru every single detail of the process - from choosing the right shed, customizing all the options, explaining the pros & cons of various features and helping me plan out something that would really meet my needs and vision. But where Tonjia really went above & beyond was during the more complex parts of the process. Navigating county compliance turned out to be far more complicated than I expected & I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She patiently helped me work thru every challenge, offered helpful guidance and never once made me feel like I was a bother, even when we had to revisit plans and make adjustments. She was steady, supportive & solution oriented every step of the way. This project would have been overwhelming without Tonjia's expertise & steady support. Her calm demeanor & deep knowledge gave me the confidence to keep going. She made an unfamiliar & at times stressful process feel manageable & even exciting. Her patience, dedication and genuine care are so rare to find - and they made all the difference. Thanks to her help, my shed is beautiful and turned out better than I even expected. I absolutely could not have done it without her. She is a total star, and anyone lucky enough to work with her is in excellent hands. Thank you, Tonjia, from the bottom of my heart. Personally, I give you 100 Stars and praise you to the moon and back!! Much Love!

They unclogged our dishwasher that was left filled with construction material after it flooded our kitchen the night the remodel was completed. Then for 3+ months we couldn't get our stove to light. But they were definitely worth the wait. They did a great job and I've got no issues recommending them to anyone. Thank you.
