This review is for the customer service because I haven't actually painted yet. Tony was very helpful in showing me all the different options I had when it came to painting the cabinets. He took the time to explain the difference between warm and cooler tones when it came to grays because I stated I wanted to avoid a blue/purple undertone that you often can get with gray. Three stars only because Jon and most of the guys that work there are fabulous, patient and helpful. However, on several occasions the assistant manager Gil has been less than cordial. He is extremely disappointing to see when I go in there. The first couple of times I thought maybe he was having an off day but, it's pretty clear it's just who he is. Love this location and the entire staff! Gil, Carlos, Sal and every single employee went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of while in town. We were assigned the amazing task of painting 2 double basketball courts at two different parks in Palmdale (Marie Kerr and Domenic Massari). This required lots of mixing, color matching, searching and gathering over 200 cans of Seal-Krete. When I tell you they made miracles happen to assure we could finish our project of beautifying their community they did not disappoint. I always got positive vibes and by the end of our jobs felt like these guys were old friends. The turn around time was so quick and it was just overall an amazing experience. I am a licensed general contractor my painter died in February. His account is now closed. I went in to buy paintwo days ago and they charge me wholesale 2703 I ran out of paint and needed to buy another gallon so I went back in. They wanted to charge me $56 for a gallon of paint. That I had previously bought cheaper and showed him my bank statement. And he said I don't have an account and my painter is dead so his account is closed. They wouldn't let me set up an account with him. I went to Lowe's in 10 minutes. They had color matched the paint and they matched the price. I was very disappointed. The managers wanted to help me or would not help me. I wiill never use Dunn edwards again. As a busincustomer service is very important.Want to customer comes in.I do everything I can to help.Obviously I'm not a retail customer.You should have given me the wholesale price instead.Of trying to charge me retail. read more

This store was great!! I have been using Dunn Edwards paint for years, but this was my first experience with this store. I dealt with Gonzo and he not only found me the right paint (when other stores couldn't and wouldn't call me back), but he went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and even was able to work out a fantastic discount through my contractor number. He had the paint ready and waiting for my husband to pick up, answered more questions and helped him load the paint into our vehicle. Gonzo was the BEST!! I was rushing all day and trying to find this paint store. When I finally found it, it was already 6 minutes after 3 pm closing time and the doors were locked. I have been using Dunn paint for years and never had a issue. Great paint without a doubt & great service, with the exception of one employee. If you have to wait to be helped by an associate named Gil, just wait for someone else. He has rea no people skills & it cost them 2 stars. I dont know what this man is doing working in customer service, but they should transfer him elsewhere. At least where he wont have to interact with the public. But everyone else is attentive and fantastic. read more

I usually go to home Depot & Lowe's for my paint but decided to try this place out. Best decision. Very knowledgeable employees and extremely helpful. They were very patient with my mother and I while picking out paint colors. There is also a lady that is there twice a week that helps you pick out colors as well and she was awesome! This is the best paint ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't go to Home Depot or Lowes for paint come here and you will not regret it. I have used other paints and the quality is not as good as Dunn-Edwards. BEST PAINT STORE IN THE AV-PERIOD!!! If you want the BEST paint AND the BEST customer service, this is the place to go! From what i've seen over the years, contractors and homeowners alike seem to know they can go there and be taken care of-i know i sure have. They have a good selection of products, probably one of the best color palettes in the industry and their "custom eye matches" are simply, the best (Lowe's and Home Depot don't even come close)! If you want your paint "eye matched" (i.e., touch-up for your house, new patio cover to look like your trim, or "that color" you just have to have), well, look no further (you're just wasting your time going anywhere else)! read more
