This is, easily, the worst Lowe's to ever exist. No stars should be given and corporate should do a total purge. Twice now I've gone in to return something- receipt in hand- NOT even 30 days since I bought the items and they refuse to refund me my money. They sell items they KNOW are broken and then refuse to do business in good faith. You have been warned. This Lowe's WILL rip you off. Thankfully my credit card company refunded me my money. And as an added bonus, Lowe's gets charged for the dispute filed. read more

If you need to do any type of carpet related project do NOT come here. We came looking for supplies to fix up an old cat house. Young ladies at the front were wonderful and sweet. Then we get to the carpet area and an old lady with a heavy accent tried to sell us some promo thing. We said anyway no we're looking to carpet an old cat house. She had ZERO idea what we were saying. Absolutely none. She didn't seem like she even knew what a cat was. I explained we didn't need rugs we needed carpet cut to use. We were going to be cutting it up and attaching it to a wooden base. She then told us that the carpet we were looking at was pre order from a special third party only. Ok fine. So we asked if they had carpet there we could buy. She seemed hesitant and took us to the back aisles and said well here's some and I asked if we had to buy the whole giant roll or if we could get it by X amount. And she stated they didn't cut carpet that we had to buy the whole thing (which looked to be like 200lbs+ it was HUGE). She said those were our options and left. Come to find out she didn't even seem to work back there and seemed to just be a cashier. So we went to home depot instead. Walked in, grabbed a small roll of carpet for $37 and walked out no issue. Thank you Ace for opening on westside. I will no longer need to travel to Lowe's. I went into Lowe's today and purchased outdoor plants advertised at $8. When I checked out they charged me $11.99 a 50% mark- up OR rip-off. I let cashier know they were priced wrong. He acknowledged me and continued to over charge me. When I reviewed receipt and confirmed his error, I was told I needed to go inside store and wait in line for customer service. Please be aware when you buy here. If necessary Home Depot is very close. Protect yourself from fraud. read more

I am quite disappointed with my experience with Lowe's. In February, I purchased a garage door opener along with installation labor. I should have anticipated issues when I didn't receive a callback to schedule an appointment until March for a slot in April. On the day of the appointment, I was informed that the service provider does not cover the East Palmdale area. When I tried to reschedule, I discovered there are no providers available in the area at all. read more

What happened to the days that home depot carried a big selection of products in stock? Went in to look for ceiling fans. They had a very small selection. When you have customers that need thing right away. Now you have to order them on line. Then you have to wait a week to get the product. Buyer beware!!! Horrible experience. If you are looking for customer service, go somewhere else. Purchased carpet, was told 2 weeks to deliver and then schedule installation. 2 weeks came, I was contacted and told it was on back order, possibly 3-4 weeks out. Went in and reselected new carpet, promised expedited service, again emphatically quoted no more than 2 weeks for delivery. 2 weeks came, and Lowe's installation department called me to tell me the carpet hadn't even been manufactured yet. A full 1 month delay, and all they did was grant a refund. They wouldn't even extend the courtesy of sharing the measurements they took for my property so that I could expedite progress on the job via other means. NEVER going there again. read more

I was planning on planting a couple new flowers in my garden and I was looking for some recommendations so i asked one of the workers and this very nice and lovely young lady called Vanessa helped me pick out the flowers a week ago and even recommended me some soil to go along with and now the flowers have grown and they are GORGEOUS that young lady really has a great taste and a wonderful personality as she was patient with me when picking the flowers and even helped me checkout plus the prices here are great! I will for sure be coming again to purchase some more flowers from the young lady named Vanessa. read more

what a real load. i applied ass a cahsier on april third, since they were advertising that they were hiring. i receive an e mail saying they will reach out when there schedule needs comes up. i go in three weeks later, and and they still have a sign in front saying they are hiring. i was told at the customer service desk after the lady calls someone that they are not hiring and i should come back in two weeks. so i come back after two weeks, and for 4 days straight i am told that the hiring manager is not in. i even call on the phone and was told she is on vacation. finally, on the 5th day, i go in and get the "hiring managr" or h.r. i give her my e mail address. she tells me i will call in two days or so to set up an in person interview. the very next mornng i do receive an e mail, but am told they are no longer hiring. what gets me is, they are not upfront from the begining and just got the run aound. i am an adult and can handle the truth, from the beginning. i do not like being given the shaft and run around. it is very unprofessional. just tell me the truth from the front and do not waste my time. i even bought a washer and dryer from this store the eyar before. hemch, i will cancelling my lowes card. read more

I like Lowe's a lot. But a few days back around the 1st of November 2025. I had a horrible experience with a worker name "Geo" I believe his name tag said.A young man. I had wanted to get a wood board cut. And he told me that they only cut wood on Tuesday. Now I been living around the Lowe's location for over 23 years and that was the first time I heard of such a thing. He really came off as if he didn't want to do anything for me. But I have a disability I walk with a walker and sometimes a Cain depending on my good or bad days. I'm an elderly man that wasn't expecting the response/behavior towards a paying customer. I brought it up to the front desk of employees and they said who told you that. And I pointed out the guy. And he tried to deny it. And he was instructed to cut the wood. Which he did ,but with attitude. When I got home my wood was cut shorter then requested. And this was disappointing. I refuse to go back to Lowe's that day and just went to Home Depot to get the wood and cut I needed. I love Lowe's. But that day I couldn't doit. Knowing that individual was there. I hope he's reprimanded. And retrained. Because we loyal customers shouldn't have to experience such behavior from an employee. read more

The workers here were great. They were very attentive and helpful. Throughout the ~1 hour I was in the store, 4 different workers asked me if I needed help and were able to help with what I needed. CJ helped me find the right circular saw and I got a great deal on it as well, with Lowe's running sales on power tools. Well...recently I had new flooring put in my kitchen.I am satisfied with the job but not 100% happy! I was so excited about getting the flooring and trusted everything that was being told to me. I did not know that Lowes does not have in store installation. I was given more supplies then needed and the strips around the brown base board are white that were installed. I now have to match paint or have stain placed. I should have been explained in detail everything.I was so excited and did t really know what questions to ask. Just know that Lowes out sources Installations. I'm pleased with the job but customer service could have been a little better. Victor and Jeremy are very helpful. I'd love to talk to management and give details on my experience because it will help someone else who is getting flooring. The company that did the install was extremely professional and fast! They apologized for not coming on the day they were to arrive and rescheduled me for the next day. The installer was quick and professional. He completed my kitchen in 2 hours. He was very clean and funny. Prayerfully Lowes will read this and be more informative to flooring customers! Lowes really should have an in house installation department for flooring. read more

UPDATE 9/25/2020: 0 STARS. HIGHLY recommend purchasing at BEST BUY for appliance needs because it is a very difficult process with Lowe's working with a 3rd party delivery company. I called the delivery company after the incident of the shoes on my carpet, and they confirmed that they provide "VERY EXPENSIVE SHOE COVERS" for the delivery men. ALSO, the delivery men did NOT test out my washer as they should. It is part of the protocol when setting up an appliance. To top it off, I had a service request for yesterday morning to have people check that my washer was working properly because the first crew did a HORRIBLE job. However, it was canceled with NO notice. Overall, there is very poor communication between Lowes, DSI (delivery company) and the customer. DSI blames Lowes for cancelling the service request, and Lowes points fingers at DSI. Highly recommend avoiding all this inconvenience and going to Best Buy. Now I'm left with a untested washer, dirty carpets, and a horrible experience. REVIEW FROM 9/22/2020: do not order anything that included delivery & set up. not covid-safe. i just had my washer delivered and i'm furious. in a time like this, where we're all taking precautions to covid-19, the delivery men told me they refuse to take their shoes off when entering my house where i have light-beige carpet. he said "if you want to be responsible for me if i fall & get hurt in your house, then ill take my shoes off" i said "your company should have insurance on their employees for situations like this." he stated that they're not provided with shoe covers, & it's they're personal preference if they want to wear shoes or not into someones home. as a home owner who just dropped over $2k at lowe's, i have a voice too. my preference is to not have shoes in the house, yet my preference is silenced. i don't know where they've been with those shoes, how old/new the shoes are (they looked pretty worn), & what bacteria they're carrying on their shoes. read more

And it was their last stock for that item. Idk how that happened when they removed the tag from it. And also it has records in their computer We were so excited to receive it that day too ! Went to customer service and asked if they could call someone... another 10 min... no one showed. Finally asked for a manager to come and still NO ONE SHOWED UP! A couple of weeks ago my mother and I came looking for a battery for an alarm that they showed they had in store... we asked several employees to help us find it. Your typical Lowe's, I've come here for various things over the years. There are plenty of employees available for questions or to help you locate something. Most recently I came for a plastic water proof material for my cooler at home. I decided on a carpet runner black plastic material. I had no problem finding someone to come and cut me a 3 foot section of the material. I was surprised that there seemed to be no checkout registers open though. The only thing open was self check out, this made it difficult for a lot of people who had unusual hardware items with no standard bar code. There was a self checkout attendant who was helping with these unusual items, but I would have preferred the traditional checkout in this situation. They have a large selection of plants and outdoor accessories. I always enjoy walking through the flower selection and imagining what plants might look best at my house. This past time, they seemed to really be emphasizing summer with a variety of hummingbird food and hummingbird feeders for sale. I feel comfortable coming here for all my home improvement needs. read more

Ordered a gas range and the hose connector online on July 4th and was assigned a 12 hour delivery window on July 17th. A few days later I received a cancellation on the hose hookup with no explanation, but the range still said it would be delivered between 8am and 8pm on the 17th. It was not. There were no calls, emails, or any other form of communication from Lowes notifying me that my range would not be delivered as promised. I called the 800 number and after 35 minutes on hold, they told me to call the Palmdale store (even though I live in Sherman Oaks). I called the Palmdale store and they told me they didn't deliver it because it was out of their range. He had no explanation for why they didn't call me to notify me that it wasn't coming. Honestly, I don't think he even apologized. In fact, he suggested that it was my fault the range didn't arrive because I hadn't called them to let them know ahead of time - only I HAD NO IDEA that it had been assigned to the Palmdale store for delivery. NONE of this was communicated to me. Called the Lowes credit card that I had applied for in order to get a discount on the range to dispute the transaction and cancel the order (because I didn't want to spend 35 minutes on hold again). They were equally as unhelpful. Ended up cancelling the whole thing and making my purchase from Best Buy. It'll take another few weeks to get to me, but at least I know it'll get here. read more

I would not recommend buying anything from Lowe's that has a warranty because man the claims is horrible. I bought a dryer last year and it had broke. I've called the claims but so much automated messages that I couldn't even talk to a real person. I went in store and finally scheduled for a claim to see my dryer. The company they use is general appliance repair in Santa Clarita and man oh man that company is bad. Worst customer service and they don't call or come at the time they are scheduled to be there. Then they showed up with nothing making you wait even more for a dam belt. Right now it's been more than a month that my dryer is broken that made me think to return this dryer and go to Home Depot or some other place. Lowe's claim support is horrible and they can't do anything about. There losing customers. So beware if you want to buy an appliance there don't buy the warranty, it's pointless, or go to a place that has a warranty to them and not a cheap horrible company. read more

Bought a stove in 2016 and we found out it it had a defect. We did not find out until today. Warranty was useless because it's been more than a year. I like Lowes a lot I really do but they sell defect appliances. The gas company came and the employee let us know were the problem was. There is no way we caused. It started with a tiny leak that got big with time. It could of cause a big fire but with quick thinking I was able to stop it. I'm shocked and upset. We let Lowes know and they didn't seem to care.
