We bought a bathroom vanity and it is gorgeous! The best part was the delivery. Although not required, the driver helped my husband put it in the house. We tried to tip him and he would not take it. You don't find that often. I'll admit they aren't overly helpful in the showroom but I guess they aren't really a place that customers typically walk in and buy. We knew what we wanted so luckily we didn't need much help outside of just writing up the order and we did have to wait a bit for that. I was going to buy it online but I really try to buy in brick and mortar if I can. The receptionist was nice and offered us water which is a nice touch. They definitely don't actively try to sell you anything. but the showroom is pretty and the delivery was perfect! read more

I'm not surprised that this location only receives one star. I just encountered the telephone associate as I had an inquiry. She was extremely rude. The telephone inquiry I made at their OTHER Richmond location was with a lovely lady who couldn't have been more helpful. read more

Im sorry, these people are so ridiculous. We just relocated here from Chicago and the prices at this place are so absurd. We wanted a 36" Thermador or Miele range, 24" Miele speed oven, 24" Miele Coffee System, 24" warming drawer, 2 Bosch/Thermador dishwashers and a 36" built-in fridge preferably Thermador or Bosch. These people quoted us $24k and change not including delivery. I bought that exact package from our ABT store in Illinois shipped to us for $14k. Call ABT AND ASK FOR Voula. She's amazing and say that I told you about her and she will take care of you. They can cram the pretentious attitude at this place. It frustrated me to no end when I went in with my husband. 11/10/18 I call bs on the review feedback from Ferguson....you won't share anything. Today we went to buy a refrigerator. We ask for help and we're told it would be awhile. While waiting a couple came in and said they didn't have an appointment but they wanted to talk about replacing bathroom. An employee came out and waited on them. Not the place to go for appliance purchases. They should post a sign saying they aren't interested in small sales so people don't waste time there. read more

I had a top of the Vent-a-hood installed in my new home at great expense. Because it took forever to get to Virginia it cost even more as we had to live in a hotel for 5 weeks. Now a year after closing Ferguson won't make right a .major installation flaw. The oversized exterior vent is open to the wind and the nonstop banging is like a combat boot in a clothes dryer. The racket is maddening. Every contractor I speak with tells me it is a simple fix. Install a wind defender external vent cover. Ferguson refuses to correct their mistakes. They have no respect for us and no desire to make the problem right. It is disgusting the lack of pride or responsibility they have to us, the customer. read more

Take your "builder allowance" and buy your lighting yourself, online, anywhere but here. You can get much nicer lighting from crate & barrel, pottery barn, or one of many high end home decor places. In addition, we bought a build your own pendant set, the globes did not match the poles and didn't fit right. After months of trying to get them to resolve they stopped communicating when suggested we start over with a new set. THEY let us build our own and do not stand by their product. My builder is also not responsive, will never go here again and would not recommend. read more

If you need help.. DON'T GO HERE! I've been looking at ceiling fans online for a month. It's been hard to figure out therefore having used Ferguson for lightning needs several times in the past I decided to walk into their store. I was warmly greeted and after telling the gentleman what I needed he called for a salesman. A young man meandered to the front and asked how he could help me. I repeated myself asking for a ceiling fan that puts out a lot of light with a remote control. We walk to the back of the store all the while being told of construction. I'm then told we have a lot of fans but I don't know if they have put them back on display. There are 6 fans on display and I'm told all of our fans have remotes (none of the fans hanging had lights on them) I'm then told I could see all of their fans on the website. I explained I'd tried there website and had trouble finding anything they sold on if.. the response- well I think we sell fans on their. After a pregnant pause just knowing he would offer to help over a catalog or even their website, I finally asked... so I need to look on the website. Yes, he said. The sad part here, he truly thought he was helpful.. If you need HELP, visiting the store is a waste of time read more

Well, obviously, Ferguson is doing well enough with their business that they do not have a need to read the customer reviews because nothing has changed since the poor reviews written years ago. I was also totally ignored when I entered the store. There were several sales people sitting at their desks - some on the phone and some not. I wandered about the store giving ample time for someone to come and accept the dollars I needed to spend. There are just too many competitors available for me to deal with not just poor service, but rude behavior. read more

I won't spend thousands of dollars at a place that won't acknowledge your existence. Went in on a Saturday to browse lighting as recommended by our builder - we were the only customers and there were at least six employees. I understand you set up appointments but they acted annoyed we were even looking. Lock your doors if you don't want customers. Restoration Hardware was extremely friendly and has excellent customer service! My advice is when you're buying high dollar items go where they say "hello" when you walk in the door. This place acted like we were a huge annoyance to their relaxing Saturday in an empty showroom. read more

Our experience was eerily similar to other reviewers'. We walked in and meandered for about half an hour without being acknowledged once by staff. We walked right past an employee sitting at her desk in middle of the showroom. Not a word! It was only as we were walking out the door - literally - that we heard a voice from inside saying "thanks for stopping by." It didn't sound sarcastic but it sure felt like a sick joke. They must be using the store as a front for some other kind of business because they certainly had no interest in selling anything to people coming in through the front door. read more

We built a new home and moved in during Feb 2019. We bought a KitchenAid warming drawer that cost about $1,500. All told between lighting, appliances and plumbing, we spent over $28,000 with Ferguson. The warming drawer broke during January 2020. The builder checked it out and found the warming drawer broke with no explanation. By the time the builder reported it a few days later to Ferguson, they told us we missed reporting under warranty by one day and refused to replace it. They told us we are responsible for replacing it. This despite that closing on the house was in Feb and every other company starts the warranty on the date of closing, not the date they picked up the part to install. Either way, to have an appliance this expensive that lasted less than a year is disappointing. We are currently working through the situation and I hope Ferguson will make it right given how much they bragged about their expertise and service at the outset. read more

My friend and I went into the showroom and an employee walked past us as if we were invisible. We preceded to browse the store and noticed more employees that didn't say hello, may we help you or anything. I wouldn't spend a dime in this store. Cooperate needs to give their employees a class on customer service. I can't speak for the other Ferguson stores, but the Midlothian store should close. read more
