We bought the 3 types of gaskets we needed. 2 rope gaskets for our window frame in our stove, (1 was for the vent area and 1 was for the glass that went inside of the frame) that was the 2 rope gaskets and then the 3rd one was for our Door hatch to the stove. So 3 total. I removed it from our stove to bring in the gaskets to match up what we needed. Neil said that definitely helped him figure out which ones we need. The tech guy who visited with us, in no uncertain terms, informed us that we are using the wrong soap and also asked if we opened the door after the wash cycle was complete. We told him that we did not since we turn the dishwasher on before going to bed. Well we changed that habit once to find out that opening the door after completion of the wash cycle was complete and it made no difference!! He also wanted to know how old the unit was and when he was informed that it was 10 years, he suggested that we get a new washer! We ended up contacting a different service agent and they found that one of the PC Boards went bad. More than likely the Little Appliance Service Tech gave us this idiotic solution recommendation is because he did not want to be troubled with having to move the dishwasher out of its recessed location to check the electrical circuitry and then have to pretty much disassemble the unit from the inside, which took a lot of patience and some doing by the new guy! The new PC Board was installed and now our dishes and plastic containers are once again dry after a completed wash cycle. The new guy also informed us to empty a container of white vinegar once per month to keep the system clean!

Wooden Sun cleaned electrical junction switches, including wall switch and told me the fireplace was igniting consistently. Was told that further problems might indicate a failing valve...whatever that is. Wooden Sun told me the den fireplace was not generating sufficient millivoltage to light the burner. They cleaned this one too, but said the mill voltage was still low and would recommend replacing the pilot assembly as first step and to replace valve as suggested for living room fireplace. I agreed to replacing pilot light assemblies for both fireplaces. But was told they didn't have parts with them in their truck and would have to return. The service call fee was $165 and Wooden Sun advised me that second service call to bring parts they didn't have with them would be an additional $165 service call fee. I objected to paying for two service fees. I was to that pilot light assembly cost would be $400 each plus service fee of $165 plus labor. The afternoon of their service call both fireplaces stopped working and would not ignite after repeated attempts. I called Tiger Fuel after Wooden Sun would not return to correct their failure to perform and service for my two fireplaces. Tiger fuel replaced pilot light assemblies in both fireplaces for under $200 each, and the fireplaces have ignited consistently since without issue. I would not recommend Wooden Sun as a service repair for gas fireplaces.

They couldn't have provided better service while working in the rain. They cleaned up the areas they were working in and took all trash aways also. I came with my partner to grab a few things that we needed for some personal projects, including…read morefixing a table with some long screws and making a mobile pull-up bar to stretch across the kitchen island. While walking through the store, we were headed theough the appliances section when a woman working there asked if we needed help. I said, "We're looking for some galvanized pipe, are we headed in the right direction?" and she confirmed that, yes, we were. In the plumbing section an older gentleman asked if we needed help and I told him that I think we're almost there. He also confirmed and sure enough, it was the next aisle over. I generally like to find things myself, and if I need help, I'll ask. Up to this point, the employees were catching that vibe as well. Something I would term as "common sense." So already I'm impressed more by these employees than most stores I visit. The pipe was more expensive than I thought it would be, and the drill bits and other hardware seemed reasonably priced to me. All in all, I would say Lowe's seemed fair and competitive. At checkout, the woman watching the self-checkout registers was very kind, offering customers who were waiting to check out with her if they had a card. She also noticed that my hand were dirty from handling the steel pipe and offered paper towels and hand sanitizer to me so that I could clean my hands. It worked nicely and she even gave me another paper towel to dry them with. The parking lot was gross, and I attributed that to the shoppers and the litter they discard so nonchalantly. The inside of the store was pretty clean overall for a hardware store. There were a few items missing here and there, but I found everything that I needed during our visit. I didn't see anything that gave me the impression of a one and a half star rating.
