I was in the area and went in to wait out some bad weather and treated myself to their new Dirty Thai Milk Tea and Creme Brulee Dirty Boba drinks. Omg...they were both SO yummy - infused with brown sugar syrup and with boba included, the "Dirty" series adds a great caramel flavor to the drinks. I spotted a variation with taro that I plan to come back for! The interior of the store was clean and tastefully decorated, and service was friendly and efficient. They had a few self-order kiosks in the store but you can also order at the counter. They had a few claw machines with adorable mini plushies too!
Love the price for the drinks and how big the drink is. The dirty boba is brown sugar with a good amount of sweetness. The boba is more dense and chewy. Very similar to the miss boba one but with less tea flavor. The mango fantasy is good with no mango chunks but with pomelo inside and sago.
Yummy drinks and easy ordering! I've tried the mango fantasy and the strawberry matcha latte and excited to try more! Like many other Asian tea cafes, you can adjust sweetness and ice level, plus add toppings all from the kiosk system. Lots of parking available.
Cute little boba shop in Renton. There is very minimal service and I ordered my drink on a kiosk. The drink came out quickly even with a larger party ahead of me. They also have online ordering which I appreciate. There are a few tables and wifi and it never got too full even on a Saturday. I got the citrus lord which is an oolong tea with fresh orange pulp. At 75% sweetness, it was really good and tea forward. Not too sweet, but also not too bland. I also really appreciate the fact that they list calorie information and that you can sub sparkling water if you want a caffeine-free option. It's a nice shop if you have dietary restrictions/preferences.
We dropped by Feng Cha since we were in the area shopping at Ikea. Feng Cha is one of those Mainland Chinese chains that I find to be quite consistent between locations, with all that I've visited serving well above average boba. This one is no different. Classic Milk Tea, Black Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The drink has a good amount of body, with a very pleasing flavor from the well balanced mix of creamer, black tea, and sugar. The creamer adds a pleasant softness to the tea and the drink at 50% sugar is not too sweet at all. It's just a solid milk tea overall. The boba texture is wonderful, pretty much the perfect texture, allowing the chewy bounciness to really take center stage. If you like a boba that's not too firm and not too soft, this is the texture to aim for. I just wish that they added more boba! By the time I was about 3/4 done with the drink. all of the boba was gone. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 Iced Tea, Four Seasons Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($5.75) - Good flavor on the tea, a bit of astringency and a bit smoky from being brewed for a long time. Note: boba shops, by design, have to overbrew tea. This would not be acceptable at an actual tea shop, but is perfectly good for a boba shop. The sweetness level actually tastes less than that of the milk tea, but works perfectly well to allow the tea flavors to shine. It is pretty refreshing. When we visited, they were running a gift promotion. For purchasing a $25 gift card, we got a free random tea scented soy candle in a nice cloth bag, handmade by From the East Studio. They had a variety of flavors, including Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Vietnamese Coffee, Thai Tea, etc, all wrapped up in opaque cloth bags that made it a surprise which flavor we would get. We ended up with the Lychee Ice Tea! For a $15 purchase (pre tax and tip), we got a glass jar. I thought it would be emblazoned with the Feng Cha logo, but it was just a blank glass jar. Kind of boring. And then finally, for any purchase at all, we got a small random charm picked out from a box. I'm not in Renton very often, but this will be my go to boba shop whenever I'm in town. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bubble tea. It wasn't very busy when we arrived. Ordering at the machine was easy, and we enjoyed our drinks. The environment was spacious, and the staff was friendly. However, we had to wipe down our table a bit before picking up our drinks, as it was left slightly dirty by the previous customer. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot.
Great ambiance, very spacious with plenty of seating! We stopped by on Saturday afternoon on a hot summer day! We promptly got our teas, the teas tasted authentic and you have the option to reduce sugar and ice in the tea.
One of my favorite boba places. I love that you can swap out black tea for sparkling water if you want a non-caffeinated option. I come here quite often as there aren't many of these locations. We got the mango fantasy and the dirty caffe latte. The mango fantasy was yummy! The taste of mango is there and seems to be mixed with some coconut milk. The wait for the drinks was quick. The interior is spacious and clean. Very simple and modern look to it.
This place is great. You walk in and order at the kiosk. They give you options to add toppings to your drink and adjust the sweetness and ice level. You get a pretty big sized drink. Got the Thai tea with less ice and 50% sweetness level. I thought it would be watered down but it was perfect. They have a selfie board which is pictured. It's nice and clean inside. Good place for bubble tea cravings.
Feng Cha is a strong boba spot I was introduced to in Texas - my friends love it down there. While I was disappointed that they opened in Renton because it's far, we made a trip to try out their boba. Pretty solid and they have extremely tasty cakes! Price is slightly high given the location but worth for a treat. Drinks are creamy and boba is solid overall. Above average! I also find it sweet that they have calorie estimates, it's a nice touch. Sea Salt Pearl - overall, there could be more toppings. It's a fluffy cake with a nice crema layer on top. Nearly melt in your mouth while being packed with sweetness. Boba is mostly for texture and chew, but there's not really a lot to work with for a whole cake. Strawberry Princess - another fluffy delight balanced with a sweet and tangy flavor profile from the strawberry jam. The contrast really helps draw out flavors, though similar to the other cakes, I'd hope for more toppings or even have the strawberry cut. It's hard to share a single topping! Classic Green Milk Tea - light, refreshing tea but definitely more creamy. Balance of tea and milk is tipped in favor of the milk, but the tea is still present. It's just like any other green milk tea so you know exactly what you're getting. Purple Reign - go Huskies! Had to also try this with pride. As a yogurt drink, there's a slight tartness but it's smooth and balanced blended with milk. The grape flavor adds a nice touch of sweetness but also acidity. Lots going on with this drink but very flavorful. Taro Breeze - just a taro slush but blended extremely well. No crazy ice chunks which was appreciated. Taro flavor felt a bit light, however. Not necessarily watered down but a very muted flavor which seems more natural, but not positive if it's natural or due to a low quantity of powder.
I love this new addition to the Renton food scene! We went there in their opening day and loved the drinks that we got! Their service was top-notch so good job on training the new staff! We went back last week and got the Citrus Lord and the Mango Fantasy. Both drinks were yummy! They made it quickly and the server was very nice and friendly. This is now one of our go-to spots for fruit tea/bubble tea in the area and just in general. The space is cute and clean. When it's quiet and not as packed, it's a cool spot to hang out in and relax.
If you're a "not too sweet, I want that tea flavor" milk tea person then you'll love it! The boba was also really soft, chewy, and slightly sweet. The tea flavor could be a bit stronger for me but it's definitely there and tastes delicious My friend got the citrus lord and that was really good too!
I've had Feng Cha at other locations but here the taste/drinks weren't it. Perhaps it's the first week but their menu wasn't that exciting to begin with. The drinks tasted like powder and the boba was average. I'd come back to give them another chance. read more

I ordered the creme brulee dirty boba less sweet and it was good and an interesting drink that I haven't seen before. The inside is really cute and the service was quick despite being so busy. However, I wish the drink had a stronger tea flavor. I could taste more of the sugar creme flavor especially after a while but that might just be my personal preference as I don't have a sweet tooth. I'd be open to trying out other drinks here. read more

First time trying this new bubble tea place. We picked out a few flavors that looked good. The staff recommended a cake, which I'm so glad she did! We got the oreo cake and it was SO good! We actually ate it all in the car before we got home. The cake is super light, soft, and airy and the salted cream that was layered on top was super tasty! Bubble teas were all delicious. I really enjoyed the fruit teas and my boyfriend enjoyed the milk teas. The store itself is also very nice with a clean interior and nice decorations. There were also comfy chairs and lots of tables to sit at. Overall would definitely come back to try more of other flavors! read more

Got their signature at normal sweetness and I think it's definitely a fantastic drink! I would probably get lower sweetness next time but I'm excited to try the rest of their drinks. I also got their kiwi drink and it was delicious at 75% sweetness. Highly recommend. They share a parking lot with other businesses but parking is free. The inside is cute and a great place to catch up with friends! read more

Being the boba aficionado that I am, of course I had to try Feng Cha during their first day of their soft opening! It took some time to place and get my order but this was to be expected during their soft opening. The boba shop is super cute, low key in terms of sound, and very spacious (with 4 tables inside). I ordered the Overflowing Grapefruit, subbing tea with sparkling water. The sparkling water they include in the drink is La Croix. Absolutely delicious and refreshing! I appreciated the fresh fruit slice included in the drink. During their soft opening, they are doing 20% off your order, along with BOGO. Loving this new boba shop in Renton. I'll definitely be coming back!! read more

We loved Feng Cha so much, we came twice in one weekend! (This covers Saturday and Sunday). Their grand opening was this past Saturday. We stood in line for two hours for our drinks (we got vouchers for a free drink each!). It was worth every sip! I really appreciated that they took their time and care into everyone's order despite the major rush and it made the experience more enjoyable for me. We enjoyed: Creme Brûlée Dirty Boba-this drink is pure indulgence. It is so sweet (without being TOO sweet), and it has sugar bits in it that make it delightful. The texture is perfect and the boba just makes this whole drink a true pleasure. I am positive this was many people's favorite drink. We ordered two over two days! Kiwi Basil Green Tea-I ordered this with 25% less sweetness, and this was so good! It didn't need to be any more sweet than that. The kiwi and the basil meld together very well with the jasmine tea and make this a refreshing beverage! What a unique and awesome flavor combination. Taro Breeze-we ordered this with 50% sweetness. This was most smoothie like texture of the ones that we ordered. We loved it. Sea Salt Pearl-this was so good-they hide extra boba balls into the center of this cake, and the icing is wonderful. This was a pillowy, sweet and creamy dessert. Shout out to the quality of their cups-their cups are super secure, and high quality. They are recyclable and STURDY. Their interior is lovely and they are spotless. They have some tea bags for sale as well, and you can see them making the boba drinks. I would come back in a heartbeat. Happy opening to Feng Cha and I can't wait to try their whole menu. read more

I was super excited to hear that Feng Cha opened in Seattle because of all the hype for their locations in LA and Las Vegas. However, I was really disappointed in the quality and taste of the drinks I tried today. I was really surprised at how pretty the interior of the shop was, considering where they're located. They are in the same plaza as Safeway, but the plaza didn't seem too inviting. There was plenty of parking, which was a plus. There are also lots of tables and chairs, making it a nice hangout spot. Upon ordering, we were told the boba would take 10 minutes to make. I understand that it is soft opening. I do think that since they're doing a promotion, they should anticipate being busier and boba running out more quickly than expected. Either way, I'm glad we didn't have to wait longer than 30 minutes or so thankfully. The cashier was very friendly and told us that they have a 20% promo until 8/25 and BOGO on 8/26. We ordered a Classic Milk Tea with Green Tea and Boba, 50% sweet and less ice, as well as a Dirty Creme Brûlée with less ice and regular sweet. The total came out to $11.45 with the 20% discount. For the green milk tea, I was so disappointed with the taste. There wasn't a strong tea or floral taste, which I was expecting for a jasmine green tea base. The drink was overly milky tasting, and tasted really strongly of the non-dairy creamer, but in a non-appetizing way. I would not reorder and not recommend, but the boba was good and well seasoned. For the dirty creme brûlée, it was very sweet, so I would recommend getting it less or even half sweet. The drink was only okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it and I think Miss Boba in Kent does a much better creme brûlée boba. Overall, I probably will not come back to Feng Cha, nor try other locations. There are much better boba spots around in Seattle. read more

The shop is spacious and clean. I saw three self ordering stations, but I ordered with an employee. The staff was super nice and provided good recommendations. The tea was strong and I adjusted the sugar level to 75%, but should have done 50%. My drink didn't have boba but my friends did and their boba was on the softer side. I didn't mind that. I was shopping around downtown Renton the other day and spotted this bubble tea place, so decided to give it a try. As I enter the store, I was greeted immediately by the friendly workers. They were kind to let me know if I had any questions. The store is filled with cute chic decors. The menu was filled with some unique drinks. As a rule of thumb, I always like to try something that's popular especially if it's my first time. I decided to try their creme brûlée dirty boba. I also asked to adjust the sweetness to 50% since it sounded like it's going to be a sweet drink. The drink is basically a brown sugar milk tea with brûlée cream on top. The boba was nice and chewy, which I really liked. I would give this drink a 4/5. I also decided to try their ginger honey chrysanthemum tea. That one was ok but I wish they didn't put too much ginger because it got really spicy when seeped inside the drink too long. It's a pain in the butt to transfer the drink into another cup just to get the gingers out. I would pass on this drink if you don't like your drink to be overpowered with ginger. I'm rating this drink 3/5. Overall, a nice place to have boba with friends. I need to try their cakes next time! read more

Made it just in time before the crowd came rushing in. Once you order, service isn't too long at all. The tapioca is soft and chewy unlike most places, where it's hard to chew. Lol The foam cakes are not sweet at all so it's perfect!! Most importantly they are seem fresh and bouncy!! I would love to eat them every day if I could. Highly recommend this cute little place. The dragon fruit drink I got was amazing and just the right amount of sweetness. I wouldn't recommend adding additional toppings to it. I asked for crystal boba and it had a very synthetic taste of plastic that ruined the drink so minus 1 star. I'll be back to try more drinks though. read more

saw this company on Instagram and decided to go try it out. It is a very cute little store. The only thing I did not appreciate was when I walked in I have never been in there before and I waited about a good 10 minutes before somebody else walked in and they told those people to use the self-serve order tablets. While I was never greeted, I was never informed this. Yes, there was somebody in front of me, but again, they never said anything to me at all they greeted the next people that came in after me. Because if I would've known about the self serve order tablets, I wouldn't of waited 10 minutes. I would've ordered my own drink. However, once I got my drink and my cake, they were not bad the dirty milk tea was delicious and the sea salt pearl cake was soft and moist. They do need to work on their customer service. read more
