Love, love, love Felina. We came here for my husband's birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special. The food was superb. We loved everything we had! The pizza was thin and crispy, the halibut was cooked perfectly, and the burrata was yummy. From custom birthday menus, to a handwritten note, to a complimentary dessert at the end, we really appreciated the little touches to make the meal memorable. The restaurant is perfect for a date night - darker, open kitchen, and friendly staff. Would love to be back soon.

This review is only for the terrace, which is located on the roof of the building. I did not eat at the restaurant downstairs but was in search for a nice outdoor spot to grab a drink with my wife and friends. LA TERRAZZA located on the roof of the building was the perfect spot! We came over here on Saturday at 5:30 soon after they opened and there was plenty of seating. It definitely got crowded as the night went on. What a great experience though, we indulged in some nice craft beers and cocktails and got the soppressata pizza. The pizza was so delicious, cooked in a wood burning stove. The beers were great and i honestly couldn't have asked for anything else. The only downfall is the prices - but its Ridgewood, i wouldn't expect anything less. Prices make it 4 stars, but it was a 5 star experience.

Highly recommend this venue for any occasion--whether it's a birthday celebration, date night, intimate gathering, or even a casual after-work hangout. The space is impressively large, featuring a spacious rooftop with its own bar and a stylish indoor area that blends cool, modern vibes with a touch of elegance. The food and service were both top-notch. We were lucky to catch live instrumental music on a Thursday evening, which added such a nice ambiance. Parking is easy with both street and lot options available, and the location is right in the heart of Ridgewood. A special touch: they surprised us with a complimentary birthday lemon cupcake (absolutely divine!) and a delightful cookie duo to take home. Thoughtful, delicious, and memorable--can't wait to come back!

We ordered fungi and margherita pizza and absolutely loved all pizzas here - the pizza base crust was amazing!!!! We also had mozzarella with bread which was scrumptious! But the main course pasta totally let us down. The cacio e pepe pasta was too dry and the alla vodka was not exciting at all. So there goes 2 stars. It is good to visit the place with reservation. We walked in so had to wait for a table. The ambiance is nice - place is quite spacious and fun!

Ambiance: anniversary dinner with another couple and my daughter, Host with the most 'Frank' very hospitable, waitress 'Lea' very attentive to our table and others. Food: lots of flavors, they rave about the meatball appetizer, it does taste good but personal preference is the Arancini shareable amongst 2-3, they give 3 but they are a nice size to cut in half and share. Dinner: cowboy rib eye, very nice dry rub flavor, cooked to my preferred medium well (just right pink inside) with a very well tasty garlic head. Added truffle fries, super shareable. DRINKS: any cocktail ordered were on point, did not feel like they were cheap with drinks. Many wine options. Host Frank did a great job of walking the dinnig room, old school, making sure guest were content with the service but really getting to know the guests... other staff members were also welcoming...

It was amazing! I took my best friend there for her birthday and we were warmly greeted upon entry, our waitress was so kind and attentive, the food was awesome, and the vibes were A1. When we left they gave us a cute little home made lemon drop cookie!! Thank you so much!!

So good! The free plate is delicious! Focaccia, olives, and pickled eggplant were delicious. Order the mussels! Super flavorful and tender and the toasty garlicky bread it comes with - omg amazing. White clam pizza was yummy. Chocolate mousse was not too sweet and loved the fresh raspberry sauce with it.

The rooftop is very cute and I would consider coming back to this spot for drinks. The rooftop only had drinks and pizza so I got the fungi pizza. It left a bit to be desired, but was nice to have something to munch on. Would love if they offered mozzarella sticks or other bar snacks. The main restaurant is nicely decorated-think upscale farmhouse, and they have event spaces so the restaurant is quite large.

The ambiance is perfect for a date night or special occasion. I like that the menu is not too big, everything we tried was very tasty (except the vacanza drink- we didn't love that). The cacio e Pepe was very good but we could have skipped it. Margarita pizza was good, the tuna crudo was probably my favorite menu item. The branzino was very good, and my husband loved the NY strip steak. We could have skipped the tiramisu, too - it was good but nothing special. The staff were also nice. We'd love to come back for another date night/special occasion.

It's an old bank turned into restaurant. They still keep all the wonder features from the bank. One of the managers Sean gave us a tour and it was thrilling to see everything up close. Food is impeccable. I had Bronzino. Crispy skin and tender insider. Seared perfectly. We also had wine appetizer dessert. I liked all of them. Service is great. Upon arrival for our reservation, no waiting time. It does get a little loud when the place is full. Great place for dates, hangouts and family gatherings.

A fantastic new restaurant in Ridgewood that we visited for dinner. A previous bank building that was repurposed for this restaurant, it has huge hall for hosting events like wedding, baby shower, corporate events, has a huge dining area for guests and has a roof top bar for pleasant experience. There's a section that has a bank vault and full of deposit box. Such cool rustic look. We reserved our dinner to ensure we get a table. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. The menu is short and precise, has some excellent options. We loved the calamari, they were just about the right size and portion. The lasagna was creamy, such tasty marinara sauce. I tried the salmon for entree. Very nicely cooked, moist in the middle and a nice crispy skin. The side of fries was excellent too. I got the purple passion non alcohol drink, very citrusy, had couple of those. Overall the service was good. Entree took sometime to come out. We got a tour of the restaurant from one of the manager. Very friendly staff. We will totally go back to try other items in the menu.

Sat in the old bank vault and enjoyed a meal that was just a bit better than average Italian food that is so played out in NJ restaurants. I had the Halibut she had the scampi. Both were excellent

I have visited Felina for brunch and recently went to check out dinner. Felina's dinner menu did not disappoint! I started with the calamari and arancini, which were both cooked to perfection. I also ordered a blueberry lemon cocktail. This is new for the summer. It had a great flavor. For dinner, I ordered the peaches and cream salad with grilled peaches and prosciutto. The burrata and tomatoes paired on the side made this the best salad ever! The lemon and raspberry cake stole the show. I love these flavors together which make for the right amount of sweetness. If you order a coffee or tea, a rainbow cookie comes with it. Can you say perfection? Throughout my entire dinner, the service was excellent. Felina is decorated beautifully and the space is quite large inside with a bar area. There is also a rooftop to enjoy on a nice summer day. As I left, I got two cookies. Thank you Felina for a great dinner. I'll be back! :)

Is this place halal to go to and eat?

    Not halal

Is there a corkage fee if I bring wine?

They have their own liquor license

Is there non gluten choices for diner?

There are a number of entrees without pasta or bread for dinner options. However I didn't see anything specifically on the menu stating they carried gluten free pasta etc.

Did they ever open their "rooftop" or outdoor space?

Not yet. They said there were some issues and they don't know when they can resume building the rooftop.

Is the rooftop bar open yet?

No it is not. With the parking lot construction right behind the restaurant, it’s looking like next season.

    Is open for lunch?

Thank you for your interest, we are not at this time.

We stopped in mid-week for a family dinner after work and even on a Wednesday the place was buzzing. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, which makes for a cozy atmosphere but also means tables are very close together. If you can, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The menu is somewhat minimal, but the food overall was good. I eat gluten-free and noticed the options were a bit limited, which made ordering slightly challenging. I ended up going with the sea scallops. They were nicely cooked, but the portion was smaller than I expected--five small scallops with some vegetables. For the price, I do wish the portion had been a bit more generous. I have to admit I left still a little hungry. My dad ordered the short rib grilled cheese and really enjoyed it. That was probably the standout dish at our table. My sister ordered the honey bourbon chicken and said it was okay, but afterward she mentioned she probably should have gone with the short rib grilled cheese instead. One surprise of the night was live music on a Wednesday. I usually enjoy live music, but since we were hoping to catch up as a family it made conversation a little difficult. The music was fairly loud for such a small space. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They also have a rewards program, which worked out nicely--my dad received a complimentary dessert for his birthday. I ordered the crème brûlée, which was a great way to end the meal. A couple practical tips: parking in Ridgewood can be tricky. The restaurant advertises valet parking, though we didn't use or see it during our visit. If you find street parking, make sure to feed the meter because the town is known for giving out tickets. In warmer months they do offer some outdoor sidewalk seating, though it looks fairly limited. It also appears they have a happy hour, though we didn't arrive in time to try it. Overall, I'd recommend checking out Steel Wheel Tavern--just be mindful of the timing of your visit, especially if you're hoping for a quieter dinner.

It barely had onions in it and it was a twist to the normal original French onion soup. I was quite disappointed. The kids pizza wasn't fully cooked on the bottom. The Mac and cheese had a weird taste to it. The slice steak had zero flavoring to it. The Caesar salad was a disappointment because we requested not as much as the dark section of the lettuce and clearly that was all that was given. The waitress was great. Great food, great space and GREAT service…read more We dropped in at around 5:45 PM on an early Friday evening and had NO IDEA this restaurant was as big as it was once we got in. Although it looks quite modest on the outside, this restaurant actually has THREE dining rooms inside. Yes, THREE! The main dining room contains the bar and classic tavern booth seats, while the 2nd and 3rd dining rooms have your typical tables with chairs. We were seated in the last dining room, which probably was the largest of them all. The menu was very typical of your neighborhood pub/tavern - simple appetizers, burgers/sandwiches, salads and entrees. As we always did, we had already done research ahead of time and knew what we were ordering even before we stepped in. For our kids, we ordered the Kids Mac & Cheese and Kids Burger Sliders with American cheese and French fries. Both came with a beverage and ice cream. My better half got the restaurant's self-proclaimed 'Famous' Sliced Steak Dinner with a Baked Potato and I ordered the Prime Rib Cheesesteak topped with cheddar, peppers, garlic aioli, and onions served with a side of fries. First, the Kids meals. The Kids Mac & Cheese was LEGIT. None of that Kraft stuff. This was real, authentic, fresh cooked on the stovetop Mac & Cheese. The Kids Burger Sliders were 3 oz each and were pretty big. I had a small piece of one and it was shockingly goooooood. They were expectedly well done, but still very good despite the fact that they were not medium. As for the 'Famous' Sliced Steak Dinner, the sliced pieces of steak were tender, juicy and flavorful. Don't think we've ever had a sliced steak meal quite like this one and it was verrrrrrry, verrrry good. As for my Prime Rib Cheesesteak, dare I say it was probably better than some Philly Cheesesteaks I've had in Philly??????? YES, I said it! The bread was pillowy super soft and the chopped up pieces of cheesesteak were delicious with the toppings. There isn't much happening in the downtown Glen Rock area, so it's not hard to proclaim The Glen Rock Inn as possibly the best restaurant in the area. However, with that said, the food was great, the amount of space inside of the restaurant was more than multiple restaurants combined and the service from every single employee we encountered was fantastic. Even if The Glen Rock Inn was located in a dining hotbed, like Ridgewood, it would still be close to the top of my list of places to dine at in these neck of the woods.

There really wasn't much to not like about this spot, even if we were a bit apprehensive after looking at the reviews We strolled in at about 6 PM on a warm spring Friday evening and, to my surprise, unlike some of the more popular restaurants in the area, this restaurant had plenty of tables open . That definitely made me a bit hesitant considering how nice of an evening it was and, whenever there is nice weather, the popular restaurants get absolutely jam packed. We were seated quickly at a booth and, as the evening wore on, the restaurant did become a bit busier, but it still wasn't at capacity. The menu was pretty standard tavern/pub-style fare with a variety of different appetizers, salads, entrees, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches. Here's a quick run through of what we ordered: TAVERN STEAK SANDWICH - Like almost everything we ordered, this was EXCELLENT. Although it wasn't 100% what I expected, this was absolutely freakin' delicious. I was expecting the ribeye slices to be a little thicker, but to be fair it did say "thinly sliced" on the menu. Simply put, this was a cheesesteak with onions, roasted peppers and provolone cheese on a super fluffy and soft demi baguette and it was ... PERFECT. Quite frankly, I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and good it was. There were also some fries that accompanied it. I will nitpick and say that the plate was oddly huge for the fries and sandwich, but there was nothing wrong with the sandwich at all. BLACKENED CHICKEN SANDWICH - The blackened chicken was served between 2 slices of Texas Toast and had guacamole, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was well put together and decent, but we thought this was the one item that fell flat for us. Like I said, it was decent, but seemed ordinary and didn't blow us away in anyway. KIDS PEPPERONI FLATBREAD - Another winner here. First of all, this "kid's" flatbread was essentially a personal artisan pizza pie and could have easily fed a single adult. The pizza came out piping hot and was shockingly delicious. Sadly, typically I feel restaurants tend to neglect the kids menu and just give them simple things to eat that don't taste all that great or don't come close to comparing to the regular menu, BUT not here. There were so many roni cups on the pizza that there were tons of them hiding underneath the cheese and stacked 2, 3, 4 deep! KIDS PASTA ELBOW MACARONI WITH CHEESE SAUCE (aka MAC N CHEESE) - Yet, another shockingly good kids menu item. The elbow macaroni came out drowning in hot, gooey cheese. Although it looked quite simple, it was ... and dare I say this ... one of the BEST mac and cheeses I've had in my life. It was very, very good. The food was great, the service was very good and we loved the amount of space inside. There were 4 flat screen TVs, by the bar, for those just wanting to hang out for a drink and there were also outdoor tables as well. Like I said, it's quite shocking that The Office wasn't jammed packed to the gills like Steel Wheel Tavern or any other spot in Ridgewood, but, for us, it was the perfect atmosphere with as good of a menu as anywhere.

He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent.
