Visited Felice 56 for dinner during a day trip to NYC in the fall. We didn't make reservations, but were easily seated, especially considering we stopped in on the earlier side (~5:30PM). The restaurant is quite large, which I was surprised by. The dining room has a nice slightly moody ambience that fits for an Italian restaurant. Our server was very attentive and helpful in expediting our check when we had to leave to catch a train. Their menu is extensive, again mostly Italian fare. I was drawn to Felice 56 for their wide variety of NA cocktails, which is always much appreciated. We both enjoyed their seasonal NA spritz, which was refreshing and delightful - I particularly loved the basil leaf, which was unexpected but fit. You would never know it was sans alcohol! For food, my friend and I split all our dishes. We started with the bruschetta and a salad. It was early fall, so the bruschetta was still so fresh and seasonal with juicy and flavorful tomatoes. I enjoyed the inclusion of the crunchy almonds and sweet raisins in our salad, adding extra flavors to the crisp brussels. We then split the gnocchi with pesto; I loved the burrata topping this dish to elevate it a touch. This was a solid pasta dish, and the 1/2 portion was just right. We didn't have time for dessert, but their menu was intriguing! The prices were reasonable for NYC and considering the quantity and quality. We both enjoyed our meal at Felice 56, and I would certainly revisit to try more menu items and especially their desserts and more NA cocktails!

Loved this Italian restaurant that I visited on my last NY trip! We came here during restaurant week which was a great value! The ambiance of this spot was so pretty and the food was delicious! Highlights included the arancini and the ricotta toast! The pappardelle was really good as well with a good amount of sausage. The service was good as well. I really enjoyed it and will be back!

We celebrated a birthday at Felice 56 and found the restaurant be just the perfect setting. The ambience is gentle and relaxing, allowing for a nice conversation and a lot of smiles. The food was OK, nothing that I would crave on repeat. We thought that the chicken patty was just that a big chicken patty with a lump of lettuce on it. It would've been nice if it came with a side of pasta. And we felt that in general, the dishes needed a little more depth and flavor. That's not to say they were horrible. They were passable. The restaurant gifted us a tiramisu dessert for our celebration and that dessert was amazing. 10 out of 10. The service was very attentive and good, they were not overbearing, but they were there when we needed them. I would recommend for a celebratory occasion, however, it is not a restaurant that I would frequent a regular basis.

Dinner with friends before show. This was my first time here. I previewed the menu before going and was going to have a chicken dish but opted for the steak and potatoes which was cooked EXACTLY as I asked them to 10/10. The companions had two different items and appetizer. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. The waiter introduced himself shortly after being seated and presented us with a drink menu. Service 10/10. We were dinning downstairs their overflow is actual ground level which I found strange. I do not know if you can get seating on ground level just on standard. The lighting was good as well as the volume. Nice environment. I would go there again.

A pretty good restaurant but nothing special for New York! The food was decent. I don't eat calamari but the folks I was with LOVED it. The pasta was nothing to call home about. The service was great and fast. We were seated immediately with a reservation which isn't common in New York. The restaurant definitely gives a fancier vibe. I don't know if we would come back unless we were walking around and stumbled upon it, but it definitely wasn't bad!

Felice 56 amazed me on my first visit! I can say it's definitely one of the top Italian restaurants in New York from my experience. I dined with a friend visiting from out of town and it is the perfect place to bring visitors, family, friends, dates. The ambiance is incredibly warm and inviting, with a spacious main dining room framed by a wall mural spanning the entire back wall. I had the carbonara which was delicious and my friend had the lasagne, which she loved. The food felt like comfort food served in an upscale setting, which I personally prefer over fine dining any day. For dessert, the pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream was divine. If you are a pistachio lover, this is a must! The service was perfect. When we asked for a photo after our meal, one of the servers even went the extra mile to tell us where the best photo spot in the restaurant is and had us stand there for the photo. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Felice 56 has became a favorite of mine whenever I visit NYC. It's in a great location and I've never had a bad meal. Highly recommend getting the Fettuccini Bolognese. I debate trying something new and end up getting the same thing every time - it's so good. Also, we asked for a family style dessert and they brought out the family gelato order. It was excellent! The picture doesn't do it justice for how much gelato it really was.

Italian spot in Midtown NY. Would recommend making reservations ahead of time, decor and vibes were amazing. They gave us free bread and the ravioli I got was super creamy and surprisingly filling! Roasted broccolini was not as good as I thought but I have heard their pistachio dessert or gelato are better so maybe get dessert instead

Felice 56 is a great place for Italian in Midtown! The servers are nice and the ceilings are super high with an upscale environment (downstairs). I ordered the Ravioli della Cassa ($27-house made spinach and ricotta ravioli, butter and sage sauce, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano) and my friend ordered the Linguine Frutti di Mare ($34-Mancini pasta, spicy San Marzano tomato, squid, bay scallops, red Argentinian shrimp, P.E.I. mussels) - she also ordered the asparagus but halfway into eating the pasta we realized that they never brought this. Overall a solid spot to dine in Midtown!

    Salmon pasta and ravioli

Very upscale and very nice place for a nice dinner. The cappuccino was amazing, and so were the desserts we got. We got the brownie, hazelnut dish and the cheesecake. The hazelnut one was amazing. For dinner we all got seperate dishes, the salmon pasta was great, and the steak also seemed to be perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was very good, they were accommodating, and worked with us well since we had a party of 20.

Great place to grab dinner before a show at Radio City! The staff is friendly and prompt, the food is fresh and tasty and the drinks are good as well.

I usually don't prefer italian food but this place was definitely an outlier! Dim lit restaurant, typical midtown italian spot vibes. We were here for restaurant week so we were able to get an appetizer, entree and dessert for $60. Weekday night but still had to wait for about 15-20 mins (no reservation). Good service, nothing specific to note. The cacio e pepe and the fried chicken were amazing! For desserts, the tiramisu classic also blew us away.

Met a former colleague for NYC restaurant week at Felice 56 for $30 lunch. The restaurant was at the lower level of a hotel, very charming and cozy. The staff were very nice and friendly. I had eggplant parmigiana to start and the pappardelle salsiccia. It was sooo delicious! My friend's arancini were nice and crispy and pollo, radicchio e Pomodoro was beautifully constructed. We had a great time and would go back.

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. It's a small area with the tables pretty close together. We were given a table in the far corner, which was perfect for comfort and looking out at the restaurant. Two of us each ordered a glass of house wine, which were "ok." We opted for the Boqueria Experience, which is $65 per person and includes a variety of chef-selected tapas, a paella and an order of the restaurant's special JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA, which is described on the charcuterie menu as aged 48 months, with deep marbling, rich and nutty flavor. We enjoyed most of the tapas, including the potatoes, the beef/lamb balls, the salad and bruschetta. The croquettes were "ok" with the heavy aeoli masking some of the flavor. The seafood paella was good and was different from ones I've had in the past, with the caramelized layer on the bottom. Yum. Honestly, none of us was a big fan of the Jamon Iberico de Bellota. I'm sure it's special and luxurious, but we found it not to have much flavor. Frankly, it was a big disappointment for us. The service was beyond excellent. We were very pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, the superb water service and the general enthusiasm and pleasantness of the Staff. We will come back and try different items on the ala carte menu. I thought there would be more seafood and meat tapas offerings in the "Experience". Instead, it was a lot of cheese, vegetables, dates and bread. Although $65 per person likely was a good value for what we got, I think the tapas items were heavy on the lower cost tapas and that it wasn't a true top-of-the-line "Experience". A seafood dish or even a chicken dish (chicken wings) instead of one of the two croquette offerings would have helped.

She was a bit absent during the two-ish hours we were there. On the bright side, the drinks were fairly good. I ordered this strawberry vodka cocktail topped with whole mint. I'm wary of vodka for its harsh, unpleasant taste, but I found this drink to actually be very pleasant, tasing like a fruit smoothie you'd get from a local juicer. There was also a burgundy drink served on a wine glass that tasted like the holidays. I liked that one quite a bit. Overall, Oscar Wilde was an okay experience.
