Wow. Wow. Wow. Situated in Turtle Bay and only open for less than a year, this is the third outpost of Norma. I am Sicilian and this food is great. I have the pasta with anchovy, pine nuts, and raisins with toasted breadcrumbs. My husband had the veal, meatball appetizer and the spaghetti with red sauce. We both sincerely thought that this food was so top-tier and for what it was very inexpensive. The atmosphere is fantastic the server David was very nice -all in all EXCELLENT-since we live in the neighborhood we will be back.

Visited here on a Wednesday evening and was quickly sat, which was super lucky as a walk in only restaurant. The restaurant is rustic and cozy in all the best ways. We started off with some complementary bread that was perfectly fluffy inside yet crisp on the outside. We split a salad that had such a great mix of toppings from dried fruits to marinated tomatoes to well dressed spinach. I ordered the lasagna and struggled to not lick my plate at the end of it the sauce was just that good! My uncle ordered the pasta with lamb and goat cheese. The lamb was fall apart perfection. Unfortunately we skipped dessert, but I will absolutely be back to try that sometime soon! We also never felt rushed through our meal or were pressured to leave. Really such a great spot!

Norma is a newer addition to Sutton Place so wanted to give it a try. So new , that they do not have a liquor license yet. We split the Rucola e Parmigiano which was large and very tasty, but just a tad too much balsamic. For dinner, I really wanted some kind of fish with pasta but this was not an option. I asked if the cous-cous in the names sake con peace could be swapped out for pasta and was told no. This turned out to be some kind of stew...it was tasty but I knew I didn't like cous cous and there was a lot of it. I would nit get this again. My friend had the Fettuccine ai Funghi, which she liked. Bread was excellent, service was pretty good. The atmosphere is charming and inviting, music was low and unobtrusive which I appreciate. But, I think for our neighborhood they're plenty of other restaurants that have a fish and pasta option so if they want to compete the menu needs tweaking (imo).

Amazing Sicilian restaurant ! The atmosphere was warm and comfy and the service perfect ! We tried one of the arancine (ragu), the trapanese pasta and the Anelletti Everything was delicious, served extra warm and tasty. The portions are generous I will go back to try more of the pasta dishes and the pizzas which looked delicious

We are visiting nyc from dc and we have our favorite Italian restaurants in our area. Norma beat them all. Some of the best Italian I've had. Server was slightly green but we had multiple people come check on us during our meal and the staff went out of their way to greet and see us off with an Italian hello and farewell. Could not recommend this restaurant more. Typical nyc pricing. Great portion size. We had 4 pasta entrees, 2 salads, a soda, a beer and a glass of wine and the total came to $210.

I have always wanted to go to Italy but when I am at Norma, it feels like one step closer. It is hard to believe just about everything is imported from Sicily. You can feel not just the passion and love for the region, but also the passion and love for food in every bite, every detail of the restaurant. I adored the lighting - so warm and cozy, not too crowded or noisy. Our Vincenzo treated us like we were VIP, he took his time with recommendations, answering our questions and describing the origin of the restaurant, a sign of a restaurant who is eager to have a relationship with their locals! I had a big lunch so I ordered thinly sliced octopus carpaccio appetizer - it ended up being enough and it was delicious, the olive oil had an outstanding flavor. It was even better as left-overs. My husband loved his pizza dish. We can't wait to go back!

There are Italian restaurants, and then there's Norma. Just about anything they can import from Sicily, they do. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was delicious and make sure to dip some of the crust in olive oil- it's so flavorful. Our waiter Vincenzo was really helpful with picking wine too and you could tell how passionate he was about good hospitality. Can't wait to come back and try other pizzas or pastas.

If I wanted to go to Italy this place made that clear to me that I have to. The food was amazing. Waitress was on point and on top of us like they should be. The place was beautiful. Definitely would be back when I'm in the city.

Cute new Sicilian spot in the neighborhood! Was walking to La Vera to grab a super casual and quick slice before work and I walked passed Norma - saw the sign that they were new and had to pop in! Front area is small and adorable with few seats at the bar and a few small 2 top tables by the window and door. Back dining area was nice and spacious. Extensive wine menu but didn't have time for anything except a pizza - got the Bresaola pizza and it did not disappoint! Good value for the size of pizza (I was expecting this to be a place where they price gouge you for a small tiny pizza) so I was very happy! I could've used a little citrus on the pizza for my liking but I may not be used to Sicilian flavors. Overall incredible quality of ingredients - the pizza had bresaola, arugula, sweet cherry tomatoes and a beautiful silky smooth strattiatella. The drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top was a nice and necessary touch in addition to the crust! Will come back to get the full experience. Staff was truly lovely and I really enjoyed the ambiance and meal.

This was a fun place to go to with a group. It is located in Turtle Bay. Unassuming place with very good food. The traditional Sicilian cuisine certainly lives up to its name. The first one opened in Murray Hill in 2015 and has expanded to include Norma in Hell's Kitchen in 2021. This is its latest venture - opened in 2024. You will fell like you are in Italy here! Everything was very good - form the pizza to the chicken to the salads - and of course, the wine! I was so thrilled they let us sit and talk since I hadn't seen my friends in quite some time! I also love how the place is decorated. - I love the ceramics all over. You will be very happy with whatever you choose here!

Honestly, one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Martina was absolutely fantastic and made excellent food suggestions which led me to this ricona buffala pizza. When I said I don't drink alcohol she suggested a great non alcoholic beer too. I'm going to try and get my family eating here now.

The service was friendly, the place was nice, the food was well prepared but without doubt, the bread was the star! Be careful of filling up on the delicious, crusty bread before your food comes! We ordered the burrata (good), the arugula salad (well dressed), the trenette al pomodoro (pasta cooked perfectly! Sauce was decent. Glad we ordered extra garlic since the sauce needed a little kick), and the pizza diavola was good. As mentioned in other reviews, the middle was mushy so I recommend asking for it cooked a little longer. The crust itself was chewy and tasty. I'll probably go again since it's so close but there are plenty of other Italian/pizza options nearby.

The best lasagna I've had in manhattan. If I could give this place more stars I would. Fantastic food, drinks, and service. Marco is the best waiter!

Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. I'll definitely be back for happy hour or dinner with friends!

Did you know this is where the Beecher's used to be?! RIP, I miss their Mac n cheese.... the vibe is completely different now (think extravagant Mediterranean vibes, it's very instagram-mable with the beautiful bar area). I had made a reservation for 5:30 (again, life with a baby is very different)- we arrived early but the staff were very gracious and were able to get us seated. They seated us in a side alcove area where they had cushioned seating, which was very helpful. What we Ordered: Drinks: Barlume Spritz and Hibiscus Mule (N/A cocktail)- drinks were good, nothing too special but we appreciated the cute stirrers Appetizer: Halloumi- grilled halloumi with roasted eggplant puree. The saltiness of the halloumi went so well with the creaminess of the eggplant. (Baby liked the eggplant puree too hah) Entrees: Lobster Arrabiatta and Duck Ragu and Truffle Pizza. My husband got the lobster arrabiatta and was raving about how delicious it was. He said it was the perfect level of spice. My duck ragu was served with busiate (a corkscrew shaped pasta) which I thought 'trapped' the sauce perfectly so you get a nice saucy bite each time. Pasta was perfectly al dente- my one gripe is that I felt the duck ragu was a bit too salty, which even managed to overpower the tomato flavor. We shared the truffle pizza, which came topped off with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. I liked the porcini mushrooms on the pizza, this was a first for me. For dessert (which we had to gobble down quickly because baby was starting to get fussy) we got the pistachio cake. SAVE SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH FOR THIS ONE!!! This was my favorite in the whole meal, the kataifi gives it that wonderful crumbliness and it went soooo well with the mango sorbet that's served with it. Recommend for a nice dinner with friends or a cool place to grab drinks! 4.5 stars

It's a small area with the tables pretty close together. We were given a table in the far corner, which was perfect for comfort and looking out at the restaurant. Two of us each ordered a glass of house wine, which were "ok." We opted for the Boqueria Experience, which is $65 per person and includes a variety of chef-selected tapas, a paella and an order of the restaurant's special JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA, which is described on the charcuterie menu as aged 48 months, with deep marbling, rich and nutty flavor. We enjoyed most of the tapas, including the potatoes, the beef/lamb balls, the salad and bruschetta. The croquettes were "ok" with the heavy aeoli masking some of the flavor. The seafood paella was good and was different from ones I've had in the past, with the caramelized layer on the bottom. Yum. Honestly, none of us was a big fan of the Jamon Iberico de Bellota. I'm sure it's special and luxurious, but we found it not to have much flavor. Frankly, it was a big disappointment for us. The service was beyond excellent. We were very pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, the superb water service and the general enthusiasm and pleasantness of the Staff. We will come back and try different items on the ala carte menu. I thought there would be more seafood and meat tapas offerings in the "Experience". Instead, it was a lot of cheese, vegetables, dates and bread. Although $65 per person likely was a good value for what we got, I think the tapas items were heavy on the lower cost tapas and that it wasn't a true top-of-the-line "Experience". A seafood dish or even a chicken dish (chicken wings) instead of one of the two croquette offerings would have helped.
