They keep promising every day that it will be delivered at the end of day for the past two weeks. When I call, they say I need to wait for a call to get info but they never call. My package was shipped from Salem, OR a mere 45 miles to my house in Gresham, OR. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday 12/29/20. On Tuesday I received an email from FedEx saying there was an "exception" and it would be delivered the next day, Wednesday. On Wednesday, I got the same message for Thursday. On Thursday the same message for the following Monday. Apparently, mine is not the only package lost in the FedEx system. But the same thing happened to a package sent through the USPS. FedEx is no longer answering their phone. And yet FedEx is boasting that they are maintaining 96.6% on-time delivery through the holidays?!? This year has seen a nationwide logistical breakdown. Fedex you have terrible customer service. My shipment was supposed to be delivered Tuesday, I stayed home because this is a large shipment and very valuable to me. I have called you each day to try and get my shipment delivered. Fedex customer service reps promise a call from the Troutdale outlet but I have heard nothing. WTH!! ONLY with Fed Ex - I have a roofed breezeway between house and garage and yet once AGAIN, damn Fed Ex drops the box just inside the gate (that was open) with rain coming down. Had I not heard a truck, that box of audio equipment would have sat in the rain. Even better, I almost ran to the store so would not have even heard the truck. This is NOT the first time and as a matter of fact crap like this ALWAYS happens with Fed Ex. NOT UPS, NOT USPS - just Fed Ex. If they ran to my gate(two in the truck), it was two steps more to put it on a chair in my breezeway. One time they actually threw it over the gate between the brick wall and fountain - a neighbor found it another day. The most current example is a package shipped from LA California on the 27th and as of the 4th still not delivered! According to their tracking it arrived in Wilsonville Oregon on the 30th, 24 miles from my house and still no delivery! Fedex is getting to be more annoying than they are worth, my first horrendous experience was not too long ago when a package I was supposedly to receive and marked by fedex as delivered was never received by me, and to make matters worse, the sender of the item was sent a manufactured picture of my "delivered" item/picture of a box hoisted up on a ledge of a place where not only was not where I live but have no idea what location they used to stage the photo, moreover the address accompanying the staged photo was not even fully correct, since all the representatives I was dealing with on the phone happened to be from overseas or south of the border (Kenya, and South America,) countties which are third world for a reason, and where there are no rules and laws of ethical standard, and which is where I strongly believe is where the manufactured and staged "proof of delivery" was manufacture, needless to say after so much headache caused by the unprofessional handling of the now official third world fedex, the actual and official item was delivered to me few days later. point is Fedex needs to stop using unprofessional third world representatives, who act like thugs and who think it is ok to manufacture a picture of a delivery which never took place, if they want to be considered a professional company. We just don't have the time or patience for that kind of nonsense and outrageous unethical behavior. This time I have another issue with Fedex again, after sending a package back to a company who uses fedex, since I wasn't able to get the company's prepaid shipping label in time, I had used Fedex (lesson learned, which next time I will never do,) to ship the item back, what does fedex d? So that they are staying in their true unprofessional Fedex mess, the tracking number found on the receipt for tracking only works when calling Fedex tracking but is otherwise is useless when it is entered on the Fedex tracking information site, and when after calling Fedex to resolve the issue (so I can provide the company who is the recipient of the package, the proper tracking number so that they can locate the item that they had already receive,) I finally got a hold of a person at Fedex, who is (of course) located south of the border, she was useless as the customer services who are not local usually are, she just told me that she is unable to search for the package (such is my reason for contacting Fedex ,) which I already know, I was calling because I was attempting to avoid traveling to the fedex kiosk where I sent the package, just to get the proper sequence of the Fedex tracking #, which BTW I shouldn't have to do, if fedex had provided tracking information on the receipt properly in the first place, moreovere the stupidity could have been amiliorated if Fedex had botherd to hire a local representative who would have known how to resolve such issues instead of having some useless representative in a clueless third world country. Fedex is getting to be an annoying company to do business with, companies who choose to use them to send items are getting to be just as annoying, companies need to avoid using Fedex and save their customers headache and annoyance. read more

Horrible customer service and delivery. Fedex lied to me several times. They said my package, which has been delayed three times with 3 updated delivery dates, was at Walgreens. When I called Walgreens, the rude manager said the package was not at Walgreens and the delay was due to the weather, even though two Fedex packages were delivered yesterday when the weather was worse than it is today. Then, I called customer service and they said that my package was has been in Colorado Springs since January 31 on hold, when the tracking data clearly shows that my package was in Ohio on January 31 and that it did not arrive in Colorado Springs until today (February 4). They have no idea what they are doing and they are totally incompetent, rude, and liars. Fedex, if you cannot handle delivery of a package, then go out of business and let the professionals handle the job. Ordered furniture with free delivery, shipping cost included in the price. Received a FedEx freight delivery several weeks ago, It was a curbside residential delivery and the driver used the truck's lift gate to lower the cabinet to the ground. Two weeks later, I received a bill from FedEx demanding an additional 59.77 because the driver used the lift gate. They didn't disclose the fee, an it is absurd since that was the only way to get the item curbside from the truck. I've been on the phone for hours, They seem to think that this is a good way to conduct business. Avoid FedEx Freight, I will not be using them until they fix their business practices. read more

I live in Colorado and my package has been in the state almost 6 days. It was supposed to be delivered on 1/5 but that never happened. The new delivery date was 1/6 but we had a snow storm. The tracking page says "Scheduled Delivery: Pending. I called the customer service number, 1-800-463-3339 seven times today and every time I tried to input the information it asked for I heard "I didn't get that." I called the executive complaint phone number, 901-369-3600 and a live operator answered! When I told what the problem was and I wanted to talk with a person she transferred me to the customer service number. Had a package shipped from IL on Thursday, Dec 16. It arrived in Kennesaw, Georgia on Dec 18th @ 3:45pm. It left Kennesaw on Dec 19th @ 11:03pm, was scanned into the warehouse in Austell, GA on Dec 20th @ 11:42 am with a delivery date of Dec 20th. Please tell me why my package is still sitting in the warehouse as of today, Dec 30. I requested to have the package dropped off at a FedEx onsite on Dec24th, which is approximately 20 miles from the warehouse in Austell. IT'S STILL SITTING IN AUSTELL! I was told that I couldn't pick up my package in Austell because it's a warehouse and no one would be able to retrieve it for me. I've had multiple communications with their "representatives" with nothing being resolved. I'm being told (probably a script) that "it's due to a high volume of packages". YOU'RE FedEx!!! Our packages heve been delivered consistently over a week late. A package is sitting at the warehouse 15 min. from our home, we called and they insured they would give a return call with more information, but no return call. We called again and spoke with a manager, they said anything for delivery to our area is put on a trailer at the warehouse, so the package is basically burried on a trailer and we cant pick it up ourselves. They claim they are have trouble delivering to our area yet we see a fedex truck in the neighborhood nearly every other day. read more

Fedex Troutdale terminal is a black hole. Many of my orders shipped by Fedex get stuck there for over a week.

Absolutely ridiculous. Had a package shipped from CA continue work equipment with a scheduled delivery date of 10/5. The it was pushed to 10/6. Now it's pushed to 10/8. It arrived in Troutdale, OR on 10/5. I don't understand why it takes THREE DAYS to deliver a package 25 min away. I've watched a minimum of 3 fedex trucks come through my neighborhood every day this week and they are telling me that a 1lb package can't be thrown on a truck and delivered by trucks already on the route? 3 days to go less than 20 miles away is insanity. I will be notifying all businesses to NOT send anything by fedex through Portland again. read more

My package was supposed to be delivered from this fedex facility in Troutdale on 12/7/20. Every day it says on vehicle, and it doesn't get delivered. Yesterday, it said "in transit", then was marked not delivered due to bad weather. Of course, the weather was not bad. So it's been 10 days now that they've been sitting on it. I know it's a busy time of year, but I think 10 days is a little excessive. I would think they would hire enough people to get the job done. There is no number to contact them directly. Then the delivery day gets moved out another few days until they finally decide to do something with it. I usually get it a week later then the original delivery date. More than once, tracking indicates package is in Troudale sitting there for days, or out for delivery and it never comes, or rescheduled for next day... and still doesn't show up. I have rearranged my schedule, several times and package does not show up. The main phone number tells you something different than the website. No wonder UPS has better ratings/reviews. read more

I have issues all the time with this facility delivering any and all of my packages to my residence. Their drivers either don't want to drive all the out to my residence from Troutdale or make up some kind of excuse to delay or not deliver my packages. Here's a new one...."recipient location security delay". Per FedEx this could mean a number of things like road construction, dog issues, got lost, etc. Are you SERIOUS!? I recently started ordering meal kits (which contain perishable fish and chicken) to help my family with food. Essentially no need to meal plan or grocery shop if using meal fits (from suppliers Hello Fresh, Gobble, Home Chef). In this short time the Troutdale Fed Ex location has failed to deliver even one time delivering 6 day's late. Other times the package was on the truck but then never was delivered until days later. And most recently they had two packages on truck (both were needed to complete the meal and to be fresh and unspoiled) but they only delivered 1 of the 2 that day and delayed the delivery of the 2nd box which meant the meats and fish were delivered spoiled. Out of 9 shipments we have only received 3 that are usable. 6 shipments had to be discarded and required a big scramble to meal design and buy groceries that were not planned. The issue seems to be with the Troutdale location. Those packages that arrived on time were delivered by on-trac or via the Vancouver Washington Fed Ex location. Management needs to do something here with regard to Troutdale and it Troutdale is unable to handle the volume they need to be upfront with those suppliers shipping perishables which require on time delivery. read more

Shipped a package from Ct. to Or. initially set for delivery 9/18 was rescheduled for 9/20 was not enough address info so was sent back to CT. on 9/22 address corrected and back to Troutdale, Or. On 9/23 I was told Guaranteed delivery 9/23 but that didn't happen ,but recipient could pick it up at this location, now they don't know where it is but Fedex says guaranteed by 9/24. Let's see what tomorrow brings. If you need reliable shipping choose UPS , hell USPS would have been quicker and a lot cheaper. read more
